"Zac. Hun wake up and let go of me. Zac wake up. Zoe is crying." Jessy said trying to wake him. "Huh? What's wrong babe?" Zac mumbled waking. "Honey let me go. Zoe is crying." Jessy repeated, quickly making her way to Zoe when Zac released hiis grip on her. "Ssshh little sis. Zoe it's okay. Jessy is here." Jessy whispered making her way into the big tent, trying not to wake anyone else. "Essy. Essy me scare." Zoe cried. "I'm here now. It's okay Zoe." Jessy whispered whisking her into her arms, comforting her. "She okay babe?" Zac whispered entering the tent. "I think she didn't know where she was is all. Huh Zoe?" Jessy replied, adding, "But no she remembers we are sleeping in tents. Camping. Huh?" "It's okay lil sis." Zac comforted kissing her cheeks and forehead. "Zac me scare." Zoe whimpered. "You're okay lil sis. See there's Mommy and Daddy sleeping over there. There's your big brother Ike and your Grampa." Zac whispered pointing them out to her. "Who's Grampa?" Jessy squealed. "Me PaPa." Zoe squealed. "Oh I guess. He may love me but I think he loves you bestest than anybody." Jessy teased kissing her belly. "You want to come sleep with me and Jessy?" Zac whispered. "Me do." Zoe squealed. "Then let's go back to bed before we wake everybody else." Zac whispered heading to the door. "I'll get her blanket and tell them so they don't worry." Jessy whispered, reaching for Zoe's blanket and crawling to Grampa Lawyer. "Grampa. My Grampa. It's me Jessy." Jessy whispered, lightly patting his hand. "Huh. Sweetie what's wrong?" Grampa Lawyer asked waking. "Grampa Zoe woke and can't get back to sleep. Zac and I are taking her to our tent but if she doesn't go back to sleep, we'll take her in the house to her bed. I didn't want you guys to worry when you woke up and found her gone not with the lake so near." Jessy explained in a whisper. "You are such a good person. Thanks for letting me know." Grampa Lawyer replied. "I didn't want to wake Mom and Daddy because they would argue with our taking care of their daughter and never get back to sleep." Jessy whispered, kissing his cheek lightly, adding, "I love you Grampa. Go back to sleep." "Essy me Essy." Zoe squealed as Jessy crawled into their tent, "I'm home." Jessy squealed, adding, "I brought your blankie and I stopped and got you chocolate milk and a cookie." "Mmmm me hunry Essy." Zoe shared. "I thought you might be. You went to bed so early." Jessy replied making her way in to her, cuddling her in her blanket and feeding her. "You are so good to her." Zac whispered with such a big smile. "It's easy to love her." Jessy replied, pulling out another chocolate milk and cooking, adding, "I love you too." "Mmmmm me hunry too Jessy." Zac moaned. "Don't sit up hun." Jessy reminded as Zac started to rise. "Oops. I forgot." Zac gasped. "I don't think Zoe is ready for the house to come down on her." Jessy teased. "She'd never camp again." Zac shared leaning on an elbow to eat his snack. After their snack the three cuddled, trying to get Zoe back to sleep. As Jessy sang to her, she finally fell back to sleep. "Jessy. Zac. You guys awake?" Avery asked tapping the end of their tent. "Yeah sis. Come on in." Zac answered, adding, "Be quiet we just got Zoe back to sleep." "I'm sorry but I just can't sleep." Avery whined. "Why sweetie? What's wrong?" Jessy asked moving back to the side of the tent, patting the space in front of her. "I don't know." Avery whispered laying down between them. "I just hope that story I told didn't scare you. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea." Jessy shared stroking her hair. "No I know it was just pretend." Avery whispered. "Good cuz I was thinking we ought to scare the pants off of your brother Taylor." Jessy shared. "What?" Zac asked. "Well he was such a spoil sport tonight, I've been thinking how to get even with him." Jessy replied. "Like what babe?" Zac asked intrigued. "Well I was thinking a little well placed seaweed and some footsteps from the lake to their tent." Jessy suggested. "Seaweed? Where you gonna get seaweed?" Zac asked. "In the lake of course. Zac the middle is full of it. Didn't you know that?" Jessy asked. "No babe." Zac answered. "Well I guess I swim the lake more than you do then." Jessy shared. "Remember he got mad because you called him It bait. We could make a sign with an arrow." Avery suggested. "Wow I am impressed. You are good sis." Jessy exclaimed, adding, "What do you think hun?" "I'm glad you girls don't want to get even with me." Zac replied. "Let's go see what we can do about footprints while Zac watches Zoe okay?" Jessy asked. "Sure. Sounds like fun." Avery answered and the two made their way out of the tent and to the carpenter's junk pile. "This should work." Jessy squealed pulling on the cutout for the basement sink. "Here are some toes." Avery squealed picking up different size circle cutouts. "You are good." Jessy praised and they made their way to the beach, making footprints up to Natalie and Taylor's tent. "Looks good. Let's go see if Zoe is awake yet." Jessy suggested taking her hand and racing back to their tent, crawling inside quietly. "Me Essy." Zoe squealed. "Well that answers that question." Jessy giggled. "Hey when did you wake up?" Zac asked. "Me not tired." Zoe said sitting up. "Well let's go seaweed hunting." Jessy suggested. "Me do." Zoe squealed. "You do what? You don't know what she's talking about." Zac teased tickling her. "But she's about to find out. Let's take the party boat so we don't have to worry about Zoe." Jessy suggested. "Good idea babe. I'll bring it over." Zac said heading out picking the girls up at their dock. "To the center of the lake captain." Jessy teased as they got on board. "You sure you'll be able to see?" Zac asked steering the boat to the center of the lake. "That's why I brought this." Jessy replied lifting a underwater light. "I didn't know we had that. When?" Zac asked. "I got it so I could dive the center of the lake Zac." Jessy answered. "Well go get me seaweed babe." Zac teased dropping the anchor. "Aye aye captain." Jessy said making her way into the water, adding, "Light please." Jessy dove down and harvested long lengths of seaweed, letting them rise to the surface. "Good. I was hoping you'd get the hint." Jessy said surfacing to find Avie fishing the seaweed from the water. "I think that's enough babe." Zac suggested. "That's why I came up. I have no idea how much I've harvested." Jessy replied, rounding up the seaweed so they could reach it. "I wonder if Dad knows it's here?" Zac asked as he pulled the seaweed on board. "Probably not. He's on top of the water just like you jet ski boy." Jessy teased climbing on board. "What else is down there?" Zac asked. "A sunken ship and a treasure chest of course." Jessy teased. "Smart ass." Zac replied grabbing her, teasing to toss her back in. "There are a lot of fish Zac. Big ones actually. I don't think they liked me waking them this early." Jessy answered. "Better answer. Thank you." Zac replied placing her back on the deck, adding, "Let's go spook Tay." They made their way to shore and quickly added the seaweed to the footprints, draping some over their tent. "Looks real girls. I'm taking the boat back before my grumbling stomach wakes them." Zac hinted. "Let's go to the house and get breakfast started after we hang Jessie's sign.." Jessy said watching as Zac hung the sign, taking Avie's hand and carrying Zoe to the house. "Mmmm smells great in here." Zac said sniffing the air as he joined the girls in the kitchen. "Zac was the campfire still going?" Jessy asked. "Let's see I just walked past it." Zac said thinking about what he'd seen, adding, "Yeah there were a lot of coals left. Why? You want me to add some more wood?" "I don't know if we need more fire. I thought I'd fix it in here and just keep it warm out there." Jessy answered. "Well then there is enough coals for that. What do you need help with?" Zac replied. "Why don't you guys take charge of drinks. There's orange juice, apple juice... Hmm where did that old coffee pot go Zac?" Jessy said opening cupboards. "I didn't think we'd use it so I put it out in the garage. I'll go get it for you." Zac answered. "I thought we could make coffee in here and keep it warm in that old pot on the campfire." Jessy shared. "Good idea babe. Glad I didn't toss it." Zac replied making his way to the garage, returning with the pot. After everything was ready, the headed back to the campsite. "Thanks for letting me use your wagon Zoe." Zac said pulling the wagon loaded with their breakfast. "Me hunry Zac." Zoe shared. "I know lil sis. We're going to eat now." Zac said lifting the pan, placing it on the coals before doing the same with the coffee pot. "I smell food." Grampa Lawyer said coming from his tent. "Me too." Walker added. "Morning my sweet Zoe. Did you get back to sleep with Jessy and Zac?" Grampa Lawyer asked. "Ah ha so that's where she is." Walker called out. "Me hunry PaPa." Zoe shared. "Well let's get her some food." Grampa Lawyer declared. "Doing so as you speak." Jessy replied as Zac sat Zoe down and she served the two. "Wake up happy campers." Walker called out as he exited his tent. "Morning Daddy." Jessie said wiping the sleep from her eyes as she crawled from her tent. "Morning So how was camping?" Walker replied. "I loved it. This is so much fun. Thanks Jessy." Jessie said making her way to the campfire, pointing and adding as she took her seat, "What on earth?" "What sweetie?" Walker asked looking to where she was pointing, laughing as he asked, "Are they up yet?" "Nope not yet." Zac calmly answered returning his attention to his plate. "Food is ready." Walker called out, whispering, "That should get a response." "Smells good." Diana shared joining the group. "Really good." Isaac added following her to the group. "Look mother." Walker whispered pointing to prank. "When did you do that?" Diana giggled. "We did it this morning Mommy." Avery answered. "You helped. Why didn't you wake me? That is so funny." Jessie asked. "He so deserves it." Isaac declared. "Come on baby I'm hungry." Taylor grumbled trying to oepn their tent. "You are always hungry Taylor." Natalie complained, adding, "Want me to get that?" "No I can open a tent flap." Taylor grumbled not knowing the seaweed was now stuck in the zipper. 'You sure Taylor?" Natalie asked again with a big sigh. "It's stuck." Taylor complained reaching out the slit at the bottom to try and fix it. "So we should ignore them or what?" Isaac asked. "Well they did put their tent behind the others so they wouldn't be seen." Walker suggested. "Daddy you are evil." Jessy chuckled, adding, "I like." "I know. Play along guys. I'm going to go help him and freak out at the footprints." Isaac suggested. "Good idea bro. Ready to scream girls?" Zac added. "I want to. I want to." Jessie and Avery squealed as everyone laughed. "Wait a minute I want to finish my breakfast first." Diana insisted. "Good idea dear." Walker said making another breakfast burrito. "Now I'm ready." Diana shared, adding, "Ready. Set. Action." "You better hurry bro. It's good and they're eating like they haven't been fed in days." Isaac called out. "Ike I can't get the zipper unstuck. Give me a hand?" Taylor replied. "I told you I would do it Taylor." Natalie complianed. "Ike's coming." Taylor grumbled. "Oh my God. Dad come quick. Oh my God it, it. it." Isaac screamed. "What is it son? Oh my Lord. Dad. Dad. Come help. Zac get the women to safety." Walker called out. "I'm coming son. Oh my Lord. Zac get them out of here now." Grampa Lawyer added. "Ahhhhhh." Jessie screamed. "Oh no It." Diana screamed. "Ahhhhhh." Avery screamed over and over. "What is it? What is going on?" Taylor asked still reaching trying to unstick the zipper as Natalie lifted the window flap to see what was going on. "Sssshhh" Walker motioned pointing at the footprints. "Taylor get me out of here. Help Daddy?" Natalie squealed. "I'm coming baby girl. Don't worry I won't let it get you." Walker called back. "We're going to save you sweetie. Don't you worry. We won't let It get you." Grampa Lawyer called out. "It only wants Taylor anyway. Don't worry Natalie." Isaac added. "What is it bro? What is going on? Isaac answer me." Taylor cried out, adding, "Isaac. Isaac are you there?" "I can't answer." Isaac whispered as he rolled on the ground laughing. "Oh no it's got Isaac. Dad get a gun. We have to stop it." Walker called out before joining Isaac on the ground laughig hysterically. "I'm going for it son. Hang out men." Grampa Lawyer shouted out before walking away to laugh. "Daddy you are suppose to be saving them, not laughing at them." Diana teased joining his laughter. "Taylor do something." Natalie screamed. "I'm trying baby. I can't get it to move though." Taylor answered panic in his voice. "Zac go pull the seaweed out of the zipper while we all head inside." Jessy suggested. 'Cool. We can erase our footprints and they won't know where we went." Jessie suggested. "You go girl." Diana squealed rounding them up and heading them into Jessy and Zac's house. "Wait for Zac and the rest of them Jessie and make sure you get their footprints." Jessy shared following Diana in the house. "So how long do you think before they figure it out?" Zac asked as they joined them. "Natalie knows. She looked out the tent window and saw us." Walker shared. "Than she is playing it to the hilt. Way to go Natalie." Isaac declared as the headed to the back porch to relax and wait. "Okay where are you? I know you did it?" Taylor screamed as the front door closed behind him. "Busted." Diana chuckled. "Not if we hide in the woods." Jessy suggested grabbing Zoe and taking off. "Come on bud. It's time for hide and seek." Zac whispered grabbing Mackie and everyone scattered. "I know you are here somewhere." Taylor screamed making his way to the back porch. "Taylor we have to call for help. It has the family. There is no way we can beat this monster alone. Listen to me I know." Natalie sobbed. "She is good." Jessy whispered before catching sight of Natalie and waving when she caught sight of her. "There is no It. Natalie they are teasing and it's not funny." Taylor screamed out. "Don't yell at me. I'm scared." Natalie whimpered. "I'm sorry baby. Don't be scared. Honest it's just a sick joke." Taylor shared, screaming out, "And it's not funny." "We have to stop this because I have to pee." Diana shared. "Me to Mommy. I can't laugh anymore." Jessiie added. "I know. Follow me." Jessy whispered leading them around the house and getting them in the bathhouse. "Me first." Diana declared as Jessie raced to the other bathroom. "Zac go get enough seaweed to tie us up with." Jessy suggested. "Good one Jessy." Isaac laughed helping Zac retrieve seaweed. "Looks good." Jessy chuckled as Isaac and Zac tied their hands and feet. "I'll do you." Zac said tying Isaac. "What about you?" Jessy asked. "I have a plan." Zac said sprawling on the floor like he was unconscious. "Good one. Don't have to be tied up if you're knocked out." Walker chuckled. "Wait. We should be screaming for help." Jessy suggested. "Not if I gag you." Zac said wrapping a piece of seaweek around her mouth. "Yuckie. I don't see what the Japenese see in this stuff." Jessy moaned as he gagged the rest of them. "I see them heading this way." Zac said laying back on the floor, softly moaning. "Wait I hear something." Natalie said grabbing Taylor's arm. "What? I don't hear anything." Taylor complained. "There. Hear that now?" Natalie insisted. "Yeah I did. It's coming from the bathhouse." Taylor said leading the way. "There you are." Taylor teased. "Oh thank God you are all okay." Natalie squealed racing from one to another untying them. "Give it a rest. I told you it's just a bad joke." Taylor grumbled, screaming as Zac grabbed him by the ankle. "Chicken." Natalie squealed before laughing hysterically. "Make your wife save us." Jessy teased making her way to Natalie, high fiving her. "Who's idea?" Natalie asked. "Mine sort of." Jessy ansered. "Should have know. You are sick." Taylor grumbled. "I had the idea. Avie, Zac and Zoe helped pull it off." Jessy added. "I didn't believe it for a minute." Taylor pouted as everyone else laughed. "Right. I heard you scream like a girl when Zac grabbed your ankle." Jessy teased. "Not very manly son." Walker teased. "You my dear are absolutely wonderful Just marvelous." Grampa Lawyer shared. "I agree." Walker declared. "What else do you expect from our little girl." Diana teased. 1
