"And where do you think you are going?" Isaac called out taking Jessy by the arm, stopping her in her tracks. "With Zac." Jessy answered as her hand slipped from Zac's, adding, "Or I was.". "Isaac what are you doing?" Zac asked turning back to see why Jessy had stopped. "I just got off the phone with Mom and..." Isaac started to explain. "Again with the Mother. What did you tell her this time?" Jessy asked glaring at him. "I'm no snitch. Jessy I was sure Mom knew about you. If he tells anybody, it's Mom. They're really close." Isaac explained. "A Momma's Boy huh?" Jessy teased rolling her eyes. "I am not." Zac protested. "Yes he is. Don't listen to him Jessy. He's always running to Mom telling her we did this or that." Taylor added. "I've read about some of the things you two have pulled. Thank God for his mother." Jessy replied. "His Mother? She's our mother too." Taylor complained. "Sure now she's your mother not just Momma's Boy here?" Jessy asked glaring at Taylor then laughing. "Jessy I'm not a Momma's Boy." Zac complained as he returned to her side. "I don't care if you are or aren't Zac. I think you pretty cool and if being a Momma's Boy is what made you so cool than it's a good thing." Jessy replied turning to him then, "Uuuggh. Man Isaac let go. I was going to... Oh never mind just let go of me." Jessy continued trying to pull free from Isaac's grip. "No way woman. Mom said it didn't matter that I am her first born. If I don't show up with you, I'm dead meat. I was her first born. Get the point?" Isaac explained not letting go. "Roadkill huh? So your Mom means business huh?" Jessy replied. "She means business Jessy. You are to meet the parents no matter what. She told me to bring you because Zac may not show up with you since he's been keeping you such a secret. Mom still can't believe he kept you from her." Isaac explained. "I heard you guys in there. Man you guys can be cruel. I don't blame Zac." Jessy shared, adding, "I mean I can understand why now. is all." With that Jessy turned back to Zac with so many questions in her eyes, mouthing, "I'm so sorry." "It's okay Jessy. Honest." Zac replied softly placing his hand to her cheek, caressing it slowly. "This is all my fault. How can you still be so nice to me?" Jessy sighed slowly shaking her head no as the saddness covered her face. "Jessy don't feel that way. I don't blame you." Zac whispered as he wrapped her in his arms. "Your fault? What you were suppose to stay out of sight or something. Yeah I bet that's it. That's how he's kept you a secret I bet. The plan was you keep your distance when the family is around huh? I'm right aren't I Jessy?" Taylor insisted. "It will never end." Jessy sighed into Zac's ear before pleading, "Forgive me. I'm so sorry. This is all my fault." "Come on Jessy. Mom awaits." Isaac announced tugging at her arm. "Noooo. I can't go. Zac don't make me please." Jessy pleaded. "Baby it'll be okay. Please don't worry." Zac replied glaring at Isaac then his hold on Jessy. "This is all my fault." Jessy replied sighing as her arm was freed. "Jessy look at me." Zac asked waiting for her blue eyes to find their way up to his. "But Zac.." Jessy started to question. "Leave my butt out of this." Zac interrupted to tease. "That's not easy." Jessy said with a chuckle. "Yeah I know. It's your favorite." Zac chuckled back. "Yeah I know you know." Jessy sighed. "Enough with the butt talk." Isaac interrupted with a hearty laugh before continuing, "For some reason Mom called Grandad thinking you had confided in him. Now he wants to meet the secret girlfriend so you are suppose to stop by and pick him up on the way home." "Oh no. Now your Grampa." Jessy moaned. "Jessy you'll love him. He's totally cool and he is going to love you too."" Zac insisted kissing her forehead and hugging her tight. "Come on kiddo, you're riding with me." Isaac said taking her arm and pulling her from Zac's embrace. "Hey I was enjoying that." Jessy complained. "We gotta hit the road kiddo or I'm going to be in big trouble." Isaac insisted leading her to his car. "I'll get that." Zac said catching up and opening the passenger side door. "Zac please I want to go with you." Jessy pouted. "In woman." Isaac demanded. "Stop being so impatient. You know you're going to stroke out there acting like that. Man and all the fans will blame me . How dare you do this to me?" Jessy squealed back. "Oh Jessy you are so funny." Zac declared helping her into the seat. "I'm serious here. The fans will hang me from the nearest tree, make me walk the plank, tar and feather me...." Jessy ranted. "Kiss her and shut her up and be quick about it." Isaac insisted. "My pleasure." Zac whispered as he kissed her passionately. "Zac." Jessy moaned pulling him to her. "Whoa." Zac said as he lost his balance, landing in Jessy's lap. "Okay so you're coming with us huh?" Jessy teased. "Down boy. We know you love her you don't have to show us. You are to pick up Grandad remember? Mom's Dad?" Isaac teased. "Way to go Zac." Taylor cheered. "I better go babe. See you at home." Zac whispered. "But I'll miss you." Jessy moaned. "I'll miss you too babe." Zac said as Isaac pulled him away and shut the door. "You be careful with her." Zac warned as he rushed off towards Jessy's car. "You be careful with my car." Jessy hollered lowering the window. "I will. I will." Zac answered waving at her. "Oh and take care of you too." Jessy teased. "I see how I rate. First the car then me." Zac hollered, adding, "I love you too." "Yeah I know." Jessy hollered back as Isaac pulled out. Jessy watched as Zac turned in another direction. "What have I done." Jessy thought to herself, still watching out the window. "You're suddenly quiet." Isaac shared. "Not looking forward to this." Jessy answered softly. "Jessy it will be okay. My folks are really nice." Isaac replied watching as Jessy slipped off her shoes, drew her feet up and curled into a ball. "Yeah they must be, Zac is." Jessy teased. "Man does he have you buffaloed." Isaac insisted. "Nah I don't think so." Jessy replied, adding, "You guys must have moved to the boonies." "We are out of the city." Isaac said as he finally pulled off the road and stopped at a security gate, adding, "Well this is it. Ready to meet the folks?" "What? Where's Zac?" Jessy replied, turning around hoping to see her car, before finishing, "I don't think I can do this alone." "He'll be another 15 or 20 minutes Jessy. You'll like the folks Jessy I guarantee it.' Isaac answered trying to calm her down. As they pulled through the second security gate, "Whoa. Big house or a hotel, which one?" Jessy teased. "Big house goofball." Isaac replied. "Look whose calling who a goofball." Jessy teased. "Gotten older Jessy. I don't pull half the stuff I used to." Isaac shared. "Boring." Jessy teased, rolling her eyes and making a silly face. "You've got so much to learn kiddo." Isaac responded by making a goofy face. "You are the master." Jessy lauded, bowing over and over. "Who you?" a small boy asked rapping on the window. "Me? I'm Jessy." Jessy answered turning to find Mackie opening her door. "My sister is Jessie." Mackie shared. "Yep she is and you are Joshua Mackenzie but everybody calls you Mackie." Jessy replied as she rose from car, adding, "That was so kind of you to open my door. A true gentleman. I thank you Mackie." "You Isaac's girlfriend?" Mackie asked staring at his brother then Jessy. "Nope little bro. This is Zac's woman not mine." Isaac answered. "Your skateboard?" Jessy asked pointing at the skateboard by the walk. "Yep. Me practice and gonna get good." Mackie shared making his way to the board. "Well that's a winning strategy. Let me see what you can do." Jessy shared chasing after him. "Me got this for my birthday." Mackie said picking up his skateboard. "It's not one of your brother's board, how come?" Jessy asked looking over the board, adding, "Where's your helmet?" "No this is my board not my brothers'." Mackie answered. "I mean the board with your brothers' picture on it Mackie." Jessy replied. "Oh one of those boards. I got one but Zac always uses it." Mackie shared. "Well it was a good thing you asked for one for your birthday then huh?" Jessy replied, noticing Walker and Diana Hanson coming from the house, headed their way. "Smart move Mackie. Now where's your safety gear? I'm sure Mommy and Daddy bought you a helmet and pads. Gotta be safe." Jessy asked again. "Me don't wear them. Zac don't." Mackie answered forcefully. "Believe me he will when I'm done with him and so will you." Jessy said bending down to his size, adding, "Mackie you're just so special and I would hate it if you got hurt." "So would we son. I'd really appreciate it if you did what she asked. Let's go get your helmet." Walker said. "I'll help you. Where did you stash it?" Jessy offered. "Me put it in the garage behind the boxes of clothes." Mackie answered. "Never would have thought to look there." Jessy teased racing after him, adding, "You know if your helmet fits right you don't even notice you're wearing one." Mackie produced the helmet and Jessy helped him adjust it. "So how does it feel?" Jessy asked. "I don't know. Okay I guess." Mackie answered shaking his head. "Do you know where Zac's is so I can borrow it?" Jessy asked. "Back here too." Mackie said climbing behind the boxes and producing Zac's helmet and all the knee and elbow pads. "Ah Ha! Everything we need to be safe." Jessy squealed, asking, "Does Zac stash his board back there?" "No that's over there." Mackie said pointing at Zac's board hanging on the far wall. "Cool let's have fun." Jessy said racing to the far wall, grabbing Zac's board and riding off. "You good." Mackie squealed racing after her. "So show me what you can do." Jessy said spinning around before flipping up the board and catching it. "Wow. That's cool." Mackie squealed, adding, "Can you show me?" "Show you this?" Jessy asked putting the board down, stepping on it hard, flipping it into the air then catching it. "Wow. Yeah can you?" Mackie squealed. "So where'd you learn to do that?" Isaac asked. "I worked for the Parks Department a couple of summers. I got chosen to teach Skateboard Safety so they sent me to this Tony Hawkes Seminar. Lucked out that summer." Jessy answered as she showed Mackie what to do. "Look at me." Mackie squealed as he finally caught his board. "Now let's see you ride." Jessy asked. Mackie took off down the driveway without looking. "Mackie stop." Walker screamed noticing the car coming up the drive. "Stop." Jessy screamed, hopping on Zac's board and racing after him, catching up with him in time to grab him and roll to one side of the drive as Zac slammed on the brakes and verred to the opposite side. "Thank you Lord." Walker gasped making his way to them, asking, "Are you all right? Son are you hurt? Jessy?" "Whoa I'm getting too old for this." Jessy moaned, rolling towards Mackie, asking, "How about you Mackie?" "Me okay." Mackie replied. "Good then you can help me up." Jessy moaned flopping back on the ground. "You can help me up." Mackie teased flopping on the ground. "Are you okay?" Zac gasped racing to them. "She's too old for this." Mackie answered. "Don't tell him that." Jessy squealed rolling over and tickling him. "Hey you broke Zac's helmet." Mackie said staring at it then pointing at her elbow, adding, "You broke that too." "Where?" Jessy asked. "Are you sure you're okay Jessy? Thank God you were wearing it." Walker asked as Jessy slipped off the elbow pad then the helmet inspecting the damage. "See Mackie that could be a crack in my skull or a cracked elbow if I hadn't taken time to put these on." Jessy shared handing them to Mackie. "I'm wearing mine from now on." Mackie shared. "I'm so glad." Jessy said hugging him, adding, "Now we have to work on your looking before you ride. Mackie you should have looked both ways down the driveway before you took off. We're so lucky Zac was watching and reacted so fast or we'd both be roadkill." "Me didn't mean for you to get hurt." Mackie sobbed as the realization of what happened sunk in. "Your okay son." Walker said hugging him tight as Isaac, Diana and her father joined them. "Bless you Jessy. You saved him." Diana whimpered as she hugged her son. "She's right babe. I saw your blonde hair and slammed on the brakes. I don't think I would have seen Mackie alone." Zac shared kneeling next to Jessy. "You okay Zac?" Jessy asked the look in his eyes. "I could have killed you both." Zac whispered. "Could have but you didn't Zac. Thank you for seeing my hair and stopping." Jessy whispered back, smiling at him then kissing his cheek. "I'm so grateful you've turned into such an aware driver son." Walker replied overhearing the two. "I didn't even see them until Zac had us stopped." Grampa Lawyer shared patting Zac on the back. "Good job Zac." Isaac shared patting him on the back also. "Are you sure you're okay babe?" Zac asked to change the subject. "Hmm let me see." Jessy said rubbing her head, adding, "Nope no bumps or dents. Not here either." With that she pulled her elbow in to look at it then moaning as she rubbed her butt. "You sound like Zac does when he rubs your butt." Isaac teased, adding, "What's with your butt?" "You'll never know." Jessy squealed pushing him lightly. "Yeah that's my butt not yours." Zac teased rubbing Jessy's butt and moaning as Jessy joined him with a moan. "Oh no stereo moans." Isaac teased as he laughed his way to the ground. They were all laughing and didn't notice Taylor pull in. "So what's everyone doing on the ground, laughing, Grampa?" Taylor asked the only one left standing. "Well Zac's woman there moaned. No Zac moaned. Something about her butt." Grampa Lawyer tried to explain but joined the laughter just thinking about it. "Yeah Jessy and her butt." Taylor exclaimed. "You leave my butt out of this Mr Jordan Taylor Hanson." Jessy squealed climbing over Zac, pointing at Taylor. "Keep her away from me." Taylor said backing up. "You afraid of a girl, boy?" Grampa Lawyer asked. "Jessy get back here." Zac said wrapping his arms around her pulling her to his lap. "If you insist." Jessy sighed hugging him. "Why are you all dirty?" Taylor asked pointing at Jessy. "What?" Jessy asked looking down, adding, "Oh I am." "You've got a change of clothes in your backpack babe. Care to get cleaned up?" Zac asked dusting her off. "Could I? Some hot water would feel good about now." Jessy whispered. "How about a hot tub?" Zac asked. "Really? That would be great. Like I said I'm getting too old for this." Jessy answered wondering about a suit. "What's wrong?" Zac asked. "I'm trying to remember if I have a suit in the car." Jessy answered. "If you don't dear, I'm sure we can come up with something." Diana shared. "Mother has a collection of suits with the lake and all." Walker added as everyone rose and headed in. 1
