Never Let Go - Chapter 18 "Jessy just do this for me!" Zac pleaded once again. "Zac just stop with all of the 'do it for me'. It is getting so annoying. How would you like it if I asked you to do it for me but neglected to tell you what, when or where? Huh Zac?" Jessy grumbled leaving the room in attempts to get him to stop asking what she did not know. "I'd say sure babe. I love you and I know you love me so of course I'll do whatever you want." Zac screamed back then collapsed to the edge of the bed with worry that this was going to be the end of them, mumbling to himself, "I'm sorry babe. I never should have listened to him." His screams sent her racing back to let him have it for accusing her of not loving him but the image of Zac shaking his head no while mumbling stopped her dead in her tracks. "Oh Zac. I'm the one who's sorry. You're right, I know you love me and wouldn't do anything to hurt me. I just can't fight about this anymore. God it's been over a week of you asking then me asking before we argue. That's all we do lately, argue over this. It's not worth it. I can't believe I'm saying this... but yes Zac I'll go with you. I don't know where, or when or for what reason but it must be important to you so yes i'll go." Jessy conceeded as the memories of the past week, the arguements, the insecurities and fears consumed her. "Baby don't cry. I don't know why I agreed to this. Why did I ever promise to keep this from you. I'm sorry Jessy. You're more important than my promise to him. Jessy you see..." Zac started to explain as he wrapped his arms around her. "I know that Zac." Jessy interrupted placing her hand to his mouth, hushing him before explaining, "Zac I know how much you love me. How much I matter to you... I can't believe I've behaved this way. I know I'm more important than whoever you gave your word to. I really do Zac. I can't believe I have fought you about this for so long. I mean I knew I could be a little pigheaded every now and then but... this is out there. I guess my biggest problem in not knowing is... I mean.. I guess I do know everything that is important.... I will be with you." "You with me is what's important?" Zac whispered watching as a peace came over her. The questions in her eyes vanished as she traced his lips with her fingertips and a smile appearred on her face. "Oh yeah." Jessy moaned as he kissed her fingertips, before whispering, "Everything will be okay as long as I'm with you Zac." "I love you for this Jessy." Zac whispered placing his lips to hers, kissing her such passion as his cell phone rang. "Zac shouldn't you get that?" Jessy mumbled into their kiss. "No. No I shouldn't. I should kiss you." Zac mumbled back as his phone stopped ringing then began ringing again. "Hello." Jessy answered his phone as Zac flopped backwards onto the bed moaning deeply. "Where's Zac? I need to talk to Zac!" Taylor huffed. "Well it's so nice to talk to you too Taylor!" Jessy replied before laying next to Zac, extending his phone to him. "Now what?" Zac snapped wrapping an arm around Jessy, cuddling her to his chest before listening. "So she going? I need to know now. I gotta call with a final count now." Taylor grumbled. "Don't sound so excited bro." Zac teased back, chuckling to himself over Taylors predicament. "Oh shut up. Just tell me what I asked, is she going with you or not?" Taylor grumbled back. "Yes. Talk to you later." Zac replied hanging up abruptly then wrapping his other arm around her pulling her closer. "That was a short talk." Jessy remarked as Zac placed his lips to her before moaning "Uh huh." "Zac are you okay?" Jessy asked as he kissed his way to her ear. "Huh? What you don't want me kissing you now?" Zac complained at her interruption. "No Zac." Jessy exclaimed stroking his hair trying to look into his eyes, trying to understand the sudden desperation in his kiss noticing his avoiding her as he rolled away. "Not again. I thought this would end." Jessy moaned curling into a ball at the pain in her stomach returned. "Yeah again with the questions. Again with the complaining." Zac grumbled with his back to her, rising and heading out of the room stopping in his tracks at the sound of her moans, turning to watch her race towards the bathroom with her hand clasped to her mouth. "Jessy you okay?" Zac asked entering the bathroom. "Just leave me alone." Jessy moaned flushing the toilet, grabbing a towel to wipe her mouth before curling into a ball on the floor. "You know better. There is no way I can leave you alone. Not even when you're not feeling well." Zac delared watching her closely trying to figure out what was wrong. "Please just leave me alone." Jessy moaned again. "I guess I could. But babe if I leave you alone as you asked... who will I pick on?" Zac asked straight faced. "God Zac. Don't make me laugh... that hurts." Jessy choked out rubbing her stomach. "I'm sorry. I didn't think it through." Zac gasped kneeling next to her gently caressing her face, tenderly kissing her forehead. "It usually does the trick huh?" Jessy whispered gently holding the hand caressing her face. "What does?" Zac asked his lips still on her forehead. "You know. When I get bent, upset... whatever.. you always make me laugh. It sure puts things into prospective so fast." Jessy explained cuddling into his arms, placing her head to his chest, sighing deeply. "I really am sorry babe. This has been so hard on you." Zac whispered kissing the top of her head, holding her closer. "It's not your fault Zac. I just wish I'd had this revelation that everything would be okay because I'm with you sooner. It would have saved so much... man it's been way to long since I felt this.. this.. relaxed.. contented." Jessy shared taking a deep breath relaxing in his arms, adding, "I missed being here." "Man it has been a while. I'm sorry I let this happen. I promise I won't let anyone or anything come between us again." Zac whispered kissing the top of her head over and over as her breathing relaxed more as she fell asleep in his arms." 1
