"That's Zac Hanson." someone screamed and soon Zac was surrounded by screaming, autograph seeking young girls. "Jessy watch out before you get trampled." Adam declared grabbing her arm and pulling her to safety. "Thanks man." Zac called out giving Adam a thumbs up. "You'd think that this was your first time you'd been attacked by Hanson fans." Darcy said hiding behind Adam. "It is. I mean we've led a secluded life up until now." Jessy gasped watching the growing crowd. "Well welcome to Zac's life. You better get used to it." Darcy shared. "No way. All right listen up. Quiet down. I said quiet down. If you don't quiet down and behave yourself, Zac's out of here." Jessy yelled until finally the crowd quieted. "Much better. Well you are right, that's Zac Hanson, drummer and youngest member of Hanson. You guys all fans?" Jessy asked and the crowd cheered. "So am I. If you guys will stop shoving and screaming, I'm sure Zac will be glad to hang around for awhile." Jessy explained and soon there was an orderly, semi-quiet line of autograph seekers. "You're a brave soul or a fool Jessy." Adam teased. "Hmm brave or fool." Jessy mumbled before offering, "Maybe I'm a brave fool. "Nah. I don't think you're a fool. Not where Zac's concerned." Adam replied. "Oh I don't know about that." Jessy giggled as Zac waved her over. "Thanks babe." Zac called out as she approached. "You talking to me?" Jessy teased. "You know I am." Zac said reaching for her. "I ain't taking that hand. You trying to get me killed or something." Jessy whispered nodding towards the line of fans. "You're funny babe." Zac said taking her by the wrist until she finally offered her hand. "You kiss me and you're signing my death warrant." Jessy squealed as Zac drew her to him. "Hey everybody. I'd like you to meet my personal body guard." Zac shared. "I'm a what? When did that happen? Seems like I'd know if I was your personal bodyguard or not." Jessy replied as the crowd started passing the news. "Okay so you're not my personal bodyguard, you're my girlfriend." Zac declared. "Personal bodyguard reporting to duty." Jessy said loudly, snapping to attention and saluting before flexing her biceps, adding, "And keep it orderly or you deal with me." "You're a blast." Adam declared laughing uncontrollably soon joined by Darcy and Zac. "Hey boss he's laughing at me. Wait you're laughing at me too. Do I have something in my teeth?" Jessy teased. "No babe. You're so funny Jessy." Zac answered. "Nothing in my teeth... then.. then.." Jessy pouted, finishing with a sniffle, "You're laughing at me." "Oh baby you were being funny that's why we were laughing." Zac declared wrapping her in his arms. "Oh god I'm dead now. Way to go Jessy." Jessy sighed, adding, "I know better. You can't see me sad without hugging me. Now the fans will kill me." "He's hugging her." someone squealed. "Just remember that I loved you. Adam, Darcy it was nice knowing you. I hope this is quick and painless." Jessy sighed. "Oh give it a rest babe." Zac chuckled. "I'm serious here." Jessy pouted. "Jessy." Zac scowled. "But..." Jessy tried to argue. "Yeah I love your butt babe so drop it." Zac argued holding her closer before kissing her. "He's kissing her." one of the fans squealed soon joined by the others. "Yeah I'm hugging and kissing her. I do it a lot." Zac shared turning to the fans. "And I like it." Jessy added caressing his face then kissing it. "Everybody this is my girlfriend Jessy." Zac declared. "Oh no. Can't be." someone screamed. "I know, the pits. He's got a girlfriend and it's not you. Sorry I didn't mean to break your hearts but I just couldn't help falling for him." Jessy shared. "Yeah I bet you couldn't." someone replied. "Could you. Look at this face." Jessy said squeezing Zac's face, puckering his lips, teasing, "Well maybe when you look at this face." They all laughed and soon the crowds accepted her. Jessy stood by his side while he finished greeting fans and signing. "Hey man this is the school principal, Mr. White. We were talking and Zac man, they're trying to raise money for the playground now that the state has cut funding. We were talking about you.. well they got a kisisng booth over there and I'm sure they'd pay." Adam said nodding at the fans. "The school would truly appreciate your help. You seem to have quite a few fans." Principal White added. "Honey please. Zac I saw the playground and it really needs help." Jessy shared wrapping an arm around his waist, adding, "You girls would like Zac to man the kissing booth right?" Their cheers persuaded Zac to man the kissing booth with Jessy at his side. "You sure this was my idea?" Jessy whispered after Zac kissed another fan. "Yep. You said 'Honey please' and you know I can't refuse you." Zac whispered back reaching for her hand, holiding it then squeezing. "What was I thinking?" Jessy moaned. "You were thinking about that old playground and how happy the kids will be when it's remodeled." Zac answered leaning to kiss her. "Hey she didn't pay." a fan teased. "Oh boy I'm going into debt fast if I have to pay every time you kiss me." Jessy squealed pulling money from her purse, dropping in a twenty, adding, "You owe me and I'm here to collect." "My pleasure." Zac said wrapping his arms around her and kissing her deeply. "Whoa. Now don't be thinking he's going to kiss you like that. Nope. Nope. Nope. That's for me only." Jessy declared pulling from his lips. "Yeah Jessy only." Zac moaned. "I think he's kissed out." the next girl in line teased. "Back to work honey. We need new swings." Jessy teased kissing his cheek. "I'd pay to kiss her." a boy called out. "Yeah babe why should I be the only one raising money." Zac teased. "Oh if you can, I guess I can." Jessy said as she collected his money and kissed him. "You two have just been wonderful. We've raised more than we had hoped thanks to you." Principal White shared. "If you don't mind, I promised her a good time at the Carnival." Zac replied as the four headed out. "I'm going fishing." Jessy squealed racing to get in line. The four waited in line, passing the time with hugs and kisses. "Oh I got a bite." Jessy squealed when her turn came up. "Way to go Jessy. Haul it in." the others cheered. "Oh my. I think I must have been in the Oyster bed. Look at my pretty necklace." Jessy squealed hauling in her catch. "Oh Mommy she got one. I wanted that." a little girl nearby pouted. "What did you get?" Jessy asked turning her way. "This." she answered holding up a small pinwheel. "Wow you got that here. That's pretty. Maybe I'll try again and I can get one." Jessy sighed turning to Zac, adding, "I want one of those. Can I try again?" "I'll trade you. You don't have to fish again. I wanted the necklace anyway." the little girl shared. "Really. You're not just being nice because I wanted one of those. I don't want you to give up something so pretty just because I want it." Jessy replied. "Oh no. I really wanted a necklace. My friend Janie got one and I wanted one too." the little girl answered. "Well Mommy are you okay with us trading our catches?" Jessy asked the woman behind her. "This is awfully nice of you. Thank you." her mother answered. "My pleasure. I have just the place for this beautiful pinwheel." Jessy said trading with the little girl then turning back to the others. "That was nice Jessy." Adam declared. "Don't tell me you believed what Jordan Taylor Hanson said about me. Honest I am not a mean b....." Jessy teased. "She has a hard time accepting praise." Zac explained wrapping his arms around her, pecking her cheek. "So what did you guys catch?" Jessy asked to change the subject. "Let's try the Fortune Teller." Darcy suggested. "Ohhhhh. I wonder if it's real?" Jessy teased. "Let's hear what she has to say first." Adam said leading the way. Darcy went first and was told she would have a career change. "Maybe she means you'll Get A Job." Adam teased. "So you like the doghouse?" Jessy teased, turning in Zac's arms to face him, adding, "I'm sure Zac will visit you." "Do I gotta Jessy. That was just a mean thing to say." Zac teased, finishing, "Darcy I don't blame you one bit. It was just mean. You want to come work for us too?" "No Zac that's okay, I can get a Real Job." Darcy teased back. "So you work for Hanson huh?" Jessy asked. "Yeah for a few years now." Adam answered. "He was always with the family. When they went on tour Adam went along so Mr. H ended up putting him on the payroll." Darcy explained. "So what do you do? I know.. I know.. Your a bodyguard like me huh?" Jessy asked with a chuckle. "No Jessy. Me risk my life. You saw those fans. And these are young ones." Adam replied adding, "Wait until you see the older ones. Scary." "Ha ha ha. Oh wait I'm one of the older ones." Jessy shared off in thought before adding, "Scary is right." "There will be a wedding iin your future. Soon." the fortune teller said after Zac sat down for his reading. "Don't look at me. I'm too young to get married." Jessy squealed as everyone looked her way. "Like I believe that." Adam teased. "Tell them Zac. We're too young to get married." Jessy insisted. "It wouldn't be all bad." Zac mumbled. "What did you say?" Jessy gasped. "You're right babe. We're too young." Zac answered making room for Adam who was also told there would be a career change. "Man if you'd fire Adam, your best friend..." Jessy mumbled before turning to Zac pouting, "You wouldn't fire me would you." "No babe. Promise. I won't fire you." Zac answered with a chuckle. "Why you laughing?" Jessy asked as Adam made way for her. "I see travel in your future." the fortune teller said. "See! Zac's getting married and I'm splitting." Jessy teased making her way from the booth, shaking her head no. "Not funny." Zac grumbled racing after her, calling her name. "So when were you going to tell me." Jessy asked, stopping in her tracks turning as Zac ran into her. "Oops. Sorry babe." Zac said grabbing her as she tumbled backwards. "My fault. I shouldn't have just stopped." Jessy whispered holding on as Zac pulled her back to her feet. "You okay?" Zac asked, worrying in his eyes.. "Yeah." Jessy said straightening her clothes then hair, adding when she noticed his concern, "Zac I said I'm okay." "When was I going to tell you what?" Zac asked remember what she'd said. "Oh that. I.. I didn't mean it. Just forget it Zac." Jessy answered trying to change the subject. "No you don't. Jessy you were sad when you asked me. What did you mean?" Zac whispered wrapping her in his arms. "Outside and I tell you." Jessy whispered. Once outside, "Now tell me." Zac asked again, turning her to him, adding, "What did you mean, when was I going to tell you?" "I know I joked about your fortune and all. But... Zac.. I guess I just got insecure." Jessy rambled on trying to find the right words to explain herself. "Insecure about what babe?" Zac asked trying to understand. "About... you know.. the wedding in your future." Jessy shared. "What? What wedding?" Zac asked even more confused, adding, "Oh. I remember I'm getting married but you're splitting." "Yeah that." Jessy barely whispered. "You amaze me. You are so totally confident and then this. Jessy did you ever think that maybe I have the wedding in my future, me marrying you and you have travel in your future, us going on a honeymoon." Zac shared, holding her close before kissing her deeply. "You two never quit." Adam teased as the two caught up. "Yeah he loves her. And he shows her." Darcy hinted. "My pleasure baby." Adam replied kissing her deeply. "Well someone promised me something for taking her to the Carnival. I'm ready to head home, how about you guys?" Zac teased and the four loaded up and headed to Jessy's. 1
