"I don't know how I managed before you came into our lives." Diana exclaimed entering the room finding her family at the table enjoying breakfast. "I agree dear. Did you sleep well? You know, I've never eaten so well." Walker shared patting his stomach. "Me Essy." Zoe declared loudly. "We know. We know." everyone around the table echoed with a round of chuckles. "Thanks sweetie. I didn't realize I was that tired." Diana shared making her way to Jessy, adding, "It smells delicious." "Here Mom." Jessy said making her a plate. "Thanks sweetie. Looks delicious too." Diana said taking the plate and sitting at the table with the others. "More please?" Mackie asked. "Sure thing Mackie. So you're feeling better huh?" Jessy asked refilling his plate. "My this is good." Diana sighed. "Me more Essy." Zoe said lifting her plate as Jessy returned to her seat. "Sure Sis." Jessy said rising and refilling her plate then returning to her seat next to Zac. "If there's any left, I'd love more please." Avie asked. "There's plenty Avie." Jessy answered. "You sit back down I'll get it." Zac said pulling her back down, adding, "You okay babe?" "Huh?" Jessy asked off in thought. "Okay give. What's wrong?" Zac asked refiling his sister's plate then returning to his seat next to Jessy. "Nothing's wrong." Jessy mumbled embarassed he'd picked up on her mood. "Don't give me that. I can tell something is bothering you. What is it Jessy?" Zac asked again. "Well if you must know." Jessy said turning to him before finishing, "I miss you." "You miss me. I'm right here Jessy. You know we've been together 24/7 for almost a week." Zac questioned. "Yeah 24/7 of you, me and the rest of the family." Jessy grumbled, pouting, "I miss you. You know you and me. Us. Oh never mind." "No Jessy I do mind." Zac teased. "Just drop it Zac." Jessy whispered. "Nope." Zac whispered back leaning closer. "Please?" Jessy pleaded. "Mom, Dad if you guys can manage without us, I'd like to take Jessy out tonight." Zac announced. "Zac." Jessy squealed, grumbling, "It's just because I said something." "No it's not." Zac argued. "Like I believe that. You don't have to Zac. Honest it's okay." Jessy mumbled pickiing up her dishes and heading to the sink. "Excuse us a minute." Zac said leaving the table, heading to Jessy, taking her by the hands, heading out the room as he added, "Come with me." "Zac I said it was okay." Jessy argued dragging her feet. "Listen I know we have all treated you like you're one of the family especially me. Watching you cook and clean and not saying anything, not helping and definitely not stopping you. You've really helped out around here. I don't think we would have made it without you Jessy. Who would have guessed Mom would have gotten so sick. We would have been totally lost without you." Zac shared still holding her hands. "Oh. Sure Zac. I'm glad I could help out." Jessy said suddenly feeling so insecure, looking at the floor and trying to pull her hands free afraid to feel what was about to happen. "Jessy what's wrong?" Zac asked not understanding her pulling away from him. "Nothing's wrong. I get it Zac. I was a big help when the family needed me and now they don't. I think I'll go home now." Jessy barely mumbled finally pulling her hands free. "What?" Zac asked shocked by her words. "I said I think I'll go home now." Jessy repeated still looking at the floor as she convinced herself this was the end of the charade. "Why?" Zac asked, adding, "Oh you probably need more clothes." "What does clothes have to do with my wanting to go home?" Jessy asked glancing briefly at him then wondering why he looked so confused. "You need to go home to get clothes for our date right?" Zac answered trying to take her hands again. "Listen Zac, I said it was okay. You don't have to do this anymore." Jessy replied trying to pull her hands free again. "Do what anymore? Jessy what's wrong?" Zac asked once more. "You just don't give up do you?" Jessy teased giving in to his 'everything is okay' attitude, pressing her forehead to his before adding, "Zac please drop it." "Only if you promise me that you drop it." Zac asked. "If I drop what?" Jessy asked totally confused. "If you drop this crazy idea that I only needed you to help the family through this food poisoning thing. You know better. Don't you Jessy?" Zac answered as his hands slowly caressed her body before pulling her gently into him. "What's wrong with me? How could I doubt you Zac?" Jessy whispered as her body came to life reminding her of how much she wanted him, needed him in her life. "That's an easy one. You've been working way to hard babe. Let me take you out tonight. You definitely need a break and you totally deserve to have a good time." Zac answered nibbling on her neck. "Oh I love this good time." Jessy sighed as she slowly gave into her desire for him and started kissing him back. "I'd say you were having a real good time." Zac moaned as Jessy nibbled on his ear. "Yeah I am." Jessy whispered trailing her lips around to his other ear. "Babe please say you'll go out with me." Zac moaned as she began kissing her way down his chest. "Oh all right. If I gotta." Jessy pouted as she rose. "If you gotta?" Zac asked shocked by her answer. "Gotcha." Jessy teased, adding, "I was enjoying myself there before you interrupted me." "Well if I gotta." Zac teased pulling his shirt open, adding, "Knock yourself out." "You goof." Jessy squealed as she started laughing uncontrollably. "Hey are you laughing at me?" Zac teased. "Uh huh." Jessy chocked out between laughs. "Just making sure." Zac teased causing her to laugh harder. "You okay babe." Zac asked wrapping his arms around her. "I think you're right Zac, I've been working way too hard." Jessy sighed as the laughter finally subsided. "Let me check something." Zac said pulling out his cell phone and dialing. "Hey Zac. What's up?" Adam answered his ringing phone. "You feeling better?" Zac asked. "Yeah man. I'm so glad I didn't eat a big piece." Adam answered, adding, "How's the family doing?" "That's why I'm calling dude. Jessy really deserves a night on the town. She's been busting butt taking care of everybody. Man Mom has been so sick Adam. If it wasn't for Jessy we'd never have made it through this." Zac explained. "Yeah I know. Ash talked to Tay and told me about your Mom being so sick. I take it she's better?" Adam asked. "Yeah she is and that's why I want to take Jessy out on the town. What are you and Darcy doing?" Zac replied. "We're just hanging out here." Adam explained, asking, "Hey baby Zac wants to know if we want to do something with him and Jessy. What do you say?" "Anything is fine as long as I get to finally meet her." Darcy answered. "You heard her man, anything is fine with her as long as she meets Jessy." Adam answered. "Cool. We'll pick you up in say... an hour too soon babe?" Zac asked looking Jessy in the eye. "I guess it's okay. Can we stop by my place first though?" Jessy answered and asked. "Sure. It's on the way anyway." Zac replied then returned to the phone, "We're on dude. See you two in an hour. Talk to you later." "Well I think we better get you ready then head to my place. We need to rid my place of any sign of you know who and I ought to add a few 'Zac's my man' signs." Jessy suggested. "Oh.Ohhhh." Zac said as it finally sunk in, adding, "I got a few 'Zac's my man' signs for you." "Zac." Jessy squealed as he first kissed, then nibbled, then finally sucked on her neck. "How about a 'Jessy's my woman' sign to match?" Jessy giggled liffting Zac's hair and nuzzling her neck. "Hold still." Zac moaned as Jessy moved to reach his neck. "Why do you get to have all the fun?" Jessy pouted, adding, "I thought I was the one who deserved the good time." "Well thanks. I love you too." Zac pouted. "It's a good thing or you might not forgive me for that." Jessy said viewing her handiwork on Zac's neck. "What?" Zac asked moving down the hall to the mirror, adding, "Hey how did you do that? I was sucking on you longer than you we on me and I hardly left a mark." Zac asked. "Like I'm gonna tell you. I'd be marked the rest of my life." Jessy teased, adding, "What we going to do today?" "Don't try and change the subject. How did you do this?" Zac asked again. "Umm I think I did something like this." Jessy shared before lifting his hair once again and sucking on his neck. "Oh." Zac moaned as his hands caressed her body, pulling her closer. "Someday I'm going to be a very, very happy woman." Jessy sighed as her body melted under his touch. "How about me?" Zac teased. "I don't think you'll ever be a very happy woman hun." Jessy teased, adding, "Well maybe with a sex change operation but don't be expecting me to be the one making you happy. Uh uh not me. I'm not that kind." "Oh so you prefer men huh?" Zac asked. "No not men. I prefer a man, namely you." Jessy answered with a giggle before getting very quiet with a distant look in her eyes. "What you thinking about babe?" Zac whispered kissing her cheek hoping this time she shares instead of making light of what troubles her. "Nothing." Jessy quickly replied, before looking at him then finishing, "That's not true Zac. I was thinking about the way you make me feel. I was trying to figure out why when you touch me.. I mean Derrick touched a lot and I never..." "You never what babe?" Zac asked as she hesitated. "Zac I never felt this way when he touched me. My God Zac when you.. I mean.." Jessy said fumbling for words. "How do I make you feel?" Zac whispered into her ear as he gently kissing her cheek. "I think I'm going to die if you stop. When you touch me I come to life and I like being alive Zac. I want you so bad." Jessy whispered as tears filled her eyes. "You want me so bad you cry huh?" Zac whispered as he kissed the tear making it's way down her cheek. "No. I'm crying because I can't believe I confessed to you. I mean to you. You will so hold this over my head. I can hear you now, "Oh come on Jessy you know, I know you want me." Jessy whispered between a few well placed sniffles. "Just can't be serious for too long huh babe?" Zac asked shaking his head as he chuckled. "Me? Be serious? Aww come on now you know better." Jessy teased. "Yeah I know better. You and serious in the same sentence. What was I thinking?" Zac teased back with a chuckle, then seriously adding in the slightest whisper, "I want you that bad too babe." "Good." Jessy whispered back as she hugged him tight. "Let's get me changed and head to your place. Before we get to your place I think I should tell you I already got rid of the picture on the dresser. I mean I didn't throw it away or nothing but you ain't gonna find it. I mean you find it I'm in big trouble." Zac shared as he headed down the hall. "You get back here. Zac. Zachary Hanson. Zachary Walker Hanson you stop now." Jessy called out in hot pursuit. "Wouldn't want to be you about now." Walker chuckled as Zac stopped and turned to face her. "Me neither." Zac mumbled. "What did you do?" Jessy asked. "When?" Zac teased playing dumb. "You know what I'm talking about." Jessy answered stopping inches from him. "It wasn't nice. I sortta... well... I promise to show you once we're there okay?" Zac asked. "I guess. Hurry and change. I think I'll clean up here for Mom while you get ready." Jessy answered heading to clear the table. "I'll do it sweetie." Diana insisted. "You go rest Mom. Zac and I are going out with Adam and Darcy and I think we'll be gone most of the day so you'll need your rest. You girls give Mommy a hand today okay?" Jessy shared. "Sure Jessy." Avie replied helping her clear the table. "Me too." Zoe squealed carrying a plate to Jessy. "Such a good helper you are. Thank you my Zoe. You too Avie." Jessy said as they worked together clearing the table, starting the dishwasher and cleaning up the kitchen. "All set babe. Ready to go?" Zac asked. 1
