"I'm back my Grampa and I brought two thirds of the Musketeers with me." Jessy announced entering the house. "I'm glad, I've missed you. Which one did you bring, Adam or Mike?" Grampa Lawyer replied. "Yes." Jessy answered, adding as they made their way to him, "Adam and Mike. Oh hi Mom, Daddy. I didn't see the van." "Well boys it's been awhile." Grampa Lawyer said rising and shaking hands before asking, "And where is your Musketeer." "Yes where is Zachary?" Diana asked, adding, "It's been too long boys. It's nice to see you again." "What have you two been up to?" Walker asked, adding, "Where's the third Musketeer?" "Oh Mr Will Do Anything For Her went to their place to get her a change of clothes. He should be right behind us right Jessy? Didn't he say you guys' place is by the Mall." Adam answered turning Jessy's face red. "Oh I see." Diana replied her shock evident. "Well we did ask." Walker teased. "But you didn't have to give such a descriptive answer." Jessy said turning to glare at Adam before adding, "And I do believe they were asking me where Zac was, not you." "And you would have told them what?" Adam asked. "I would have politely explained that he stopped to get me a change of clothes and would be here shortly." Jessy replied. "That's what I said." Adam argued. "No it's not." Jessy argued back. "Is too." Adam grumbled. "Not." Jessy insisted glaring at him once again as she placed her hands on her hips. "Psst. Remember what Zac said." Mike whispered leaning Adam's way. "Huh? Oh yeah. I'm sorry Jessy,: Adam shared. "Wow. Talk about Mr. Will Do Anything For Her." Walker teased, adding, "DId you see it? I didn't see her snap her fingers but they sure jumped high." "What did he say to you?" Jessy asked pointing at Mike. "Nothing Jessy." Adam answered. "Oh yeah like I believe that." Jessy pouted. "So you and my son have a place of your own?" Diana asked not wanting to hear the answer. "Dear maybe it's none of our business." Walker suggested. "That's not true. It's your business. I mean you're Zac's parents and all. It's just..." Jessy tried to explain. "It's just hard letting them grow up Jessy. I apologize if I came across like I disapprove or that I'm not happy for the two of you." Diana offered in a little more than a whisper. "You know we adore you as much as our son does." Walker shared wrapping an arm around his wife than the other around Jessy. "Thanks Daddy. I adore you too and the family. Well maybe not the whole family." Jessy replied. "I apologize for what Taylor did. Jessy I don't know what to say. This behavior of his has us both baffled." Diana shared. "We did not raise our children to be disrespectful. His behavior is unexcusable." Walker insisted. "Maybe it's just me." Jessy suggested. "I'd hope that you are the only person he has ever been this disrespectful towards but who knows. I didn't believe he was capable of this." Walker remarked shaking his head no before returning to his seat. "We were just discussing him before you came home." Grampa Lawyer shared patting his lap. "Oh my Grampa." Jessy sighed slipping onto his lap before adding, "Thanks for handling Taylor alone. I really couldn't deal with it and I needed Zac. We didn't mean to dump on you." "Sorry to say I didn't make any headway with the young man. That's why I called them. I just don't understand him." Grampa Lawyer explained. "Thanks for trying." Jessy whispered with a hug. "For you sweetie, anything." Grampa Lawyer whispered returning the hug as his stomach growled. "Oh my Grampa you are hungry." Jessy exclaimed. "I'd say so." Grampa Lawyer replied with a chuckle. "You know I'm kind of hungry too. How about the rest of you?" Jessy said picking up the phone to a round of "me to" from the room. "Hey Zac if you're still there pick up." Jessy said after listening to the answering machine. "Jessy?" Zac asked picking up the phone. "Yeah. You find everything?" Jessy asked. "I don't find the tank you described but got another one." Zac answered. "Thanks. Zac everybody here is hungry, how about you?" Jessy asked. "Yeah I could go for something. What you thinking?" Zac replied. "My Grampa can you handle mexican cooking? I was thinking of making steak fajitas if I can get you men to make fire and not burn the steak." Jessy asked into the phone but turning to Grampa Lawyer. "If you're cooking, I'm eating. You are a good cook sweetie." Grampa Lawyer answered. "We'll be glad to man the fire." Walker added. "Is that Dad?" Zac asked. "Yeah hun your folks were already here. Grampa said he didn't get far with Taylor so he called them to help." Jessy explained, adding, "I think it's just me Zac." "No Jessy it's Taylor's problem not ours." Zac insisted. "RIght." Jessy sighed then added, "Zac in the bottom cupboard by the frig is where I keep the mexican stuff. Could you just bag it and bring it all?" "Sure babe. Anything else?" Zac replied. "Uh huh. Hurry. I miss you." Jessy added. "On my way." Zac answered. "Well men it looks like you need to make a fire." Jessy shared. "To the backyard then." Grampa Lawyer declared. "What can I help you with?" Diana asked. "Let's see. What about the kids? Grampa you don't mind a housefull do you?' Jessy asked. "Never. Diana go get the rest of the children. I think they should be here too." Grampa Lawyer agreed. "Settled. I'll be in the kitchen if you need me." Jessy said as they all headed to get busy. "We have fire sweetie. Are you ready for us?" Grampa Lawyer asked returning to the house, adding, "Smells good in here." "Thanks my Grampa. Over there on the counter. It's all ready for you." Jessy answered. "You sure you don't need help. I could send in one of the boys." Grampa Lawyer asked. "Do I gotta?" Jessy pouted. "I've put up with them all this time." Grampa Lawyer teased. "I'm not sure if they're housebroke though." Jessy came back. "You win. You are funny." Grampa Lawyer said with a hearty laugh before heading back out. "Hey Mom I didn't think to ask if all the kids will eat fajitas." Jessy asked after picking up and dialing the Hanson's. "Already taken care of Jessy. I was just packing up something for Zoe, Mackie and Avie in case they don't care for mexican." Diana answered, adding, "I'll stop and pick up dessert on the way back too." "Oh my I hadn't even thought about that. Thank goodness for Moms." Jessy replied. "You're welcome. I'm almost ready to leave so say a half hour." Diana shared. "Great timing. That's what I was just figuring before I'm done. See you soon." Jessy replied turning her attention back to the stovetop. "Smells good in here." Zac said announcing his return. "Zac." Jessy replied turning his way greeted with a big smile, asking, "What you smiling about?" "You look happy there." Zac replied. "I am Zac. Your Mom went to get the rest of the family. You should have seen Grampa's face when I suggested it. He smiled from ear to ear, insisting the entire family should be here." Jessy answered making her way to him, hugging him tight. "You are so good for him." Zac whispered hugging her back. "How about you?" Jessy asked loosening her grip, looking up with so many questions in her eyes. "I can't imagine anything better." Zac replied kissing her forehead, her nose before pressing his lips to hers, kissing her passionately. "Whoa you two are something else. I think I'm getting hot over here." Adam teased from the back door. "You again. I'll have you know I was enjoying that. What's with your brothers and friends huh?" Jessy pouted. "I don't know babe. I'd say they don't want me enjoying myself too much." Zac moaned. "That's understandable. But why me?" Jessy teased. "Why you? Why you, you ask?" Zac teased. "Yeah Zac I said why me. Do you have a problem with your hearing?" Jessy screamed slowly. The slap on the wall drew both their attention. They watched as Adam held his sides and sank to the floor in laughter. "Did you see that? I hope it's not contagious." Jessy teased. "Me too." Zac replied, adding, "It looks like it hurts." "What's up with him?" Mike asked entering the room, pointing at Adam. "When did he get here?" Jessy gasped, adding, "Do you think he's sick?" "He does look like he's in pain." Zac replied. "What's up Adam?" Mike asked looking down at him. "They are.." Adam choked out. "Oh everyone is up compared to you. You do know you're on the floor?" Zac teased. "Maybe we ought to start with the basics. You do know who you are, right?" Jessy teased. "Adam. Can you say it? Adam. I'm Zac. This is Jessy. That's Mike and you are Adam." Zac teased and they all laughed together. "There's Mom now. Perfect timing. Could you guys give her a hand unloading the van?" Jessy asked watching as they headed outside. "Everything set in here?" Grampa Lawyer asked entering from the back yard. "All I need is someone to carry all of this out back." Jessy answered. "Men food is ready. Give me a hand in here." Grampa Lawyer called out the back door. "What a beautiful yard." Jessy exclaimed following them out, "Needs a little love though." "We know what she'll be doing next." Grampa teased. "Oh you don't mind." Jessy teased back, stopping in her tracks, adding in almost a whisper as she was overwhelmed with insecurities, "You don't do you my Grampa?" "What? You're not serious." Grampa exclaimed, adding, "Here take this for me son." "Sure Dad." Walker said taking what he was carrying. "Sweetie don't you know you can do anything you want around here." Grampa Lawyer insisted making his way back to Jessy, wrapping her in his arms. "See I told you." Isaac shared nudging Taylor. "Seems like she's the only one who doesn't know it." Taylor replied. "Just don't forget it Taylor." Zac reminded before making his way to Jessy, asking, "You okay babe?" "Oh Zac. I feel so foolish. I can't believe even for a second I doubted that Grampa..." Jessy tried to explain, finishing as she rushed to his arms, "I'm too embarassed to admit what I thought." "As long as you remember that my grandfather adores you as much as I do." Zac shared hugging her tight. "And I adore your grandfather as much as I adore you." Jessy said hugging him back, adding before kissing him passionately, "Zac I love you for giving me my Grampa." "Now we eat." Grampa Lawyer declared as they all fournd a seat. After they played croquet and badmitton before ending the evening gathered around a bon fire. "What's the matter Zoe?" Jessy asked watching her toddle away from the crowd. "Me tire." Zoe mumbled. "Me too. Want to cuddle on the glider?" Jessy asked sweeping her into her arms when she shook her head yes. "I want to cuddle too." Zac whispered, catching up with the two, sitting and pulling Jessy to his lap. "Me tire." Zoe mumbled again. "I know Zoe. We'll just cuddle here with Zac and everything will get better." Jessy whispered cuddling her closer as she began to hum then sing until Zoe fell asleep.
