Part Eight

"Isaac I'm fine. Please I want to go see them." Naomi pleaded but as she rose she got dizzy and Isaac grabbed her before she fell. "Fine huh?" he mumbled lifting her into his arms. "Don't look so worried. I think it's because I haven't eaten today is all." Naomi suggested. "But why the puking. You hate to puke." Isaac argued. "Maybe because I was so hyped about Jessy and Chele being here, I went an o.d. on happy endorphins or what ever that is that makes you feel good, happy." Naomi explained. "Could be. Babe you wouldn't lie to me about how you're feeling right?" Isaac asked fearing the answer. "No hun I wouldn't lie to you about my health. I hate making you worry but I couldn't keep it from you if something was wrong. Isaac you're my strength lately. I don't know what I'd do without you. I love you so much." Naomi explained cuddling against his chest. "I love you too babe." Isaac said. "Why don't we get her something to eat and see if that is what's wrong." Diana suggested. "Mom I'm sorry to be so much trouble. Like you haven't got enough to worry about." Naomi apologized. "Sweetie don't go there. You're one of my babies now and I can worry about you as much as I want. Got it?" Diana insisted. "Yes mom." Naomi replied as they headed to the kitchen. After eating, color returned to her face. "Maybe that's what was wrong. Sweetie let's try little meals all day, snacking in between and see if that helps alleviate the problem." Diana suggested, adding, "Rest young lady, or it's early to bed even with company coming." Isaac led her to the family room and they cuddled up on a couch together. "Isaac do you have any idea how much I love you." Naomi sighed as he drew her closer. "Yeah babe, I'm finally getting the picture, you love me almost as much as I love you." Isaac answered kissing her deeply before cuddling her back in his arms where she drifted off. Zac and Jessy were the first to arrive, "This way Jessy. See she's okay." Zac said leading her by the hand. "Ssshh. She's asleep." Isaac informed before introducng himself to Jessy. Jessy sat on the coffee table in front of them, staring at her, shaking her head at the bruising. "She's getting better. We figure she od'd on the joy of your being here causing her to puke." Isaac shared. "Oh I make her puke, cool." Jessy said, "She hates to puke." they said together then laughed. "I can't believe you raced her truck. Smoked em, but I don't believe you even drove it." Chele said as she and Tay entered. "He what? Isaac is he all right? Did she hurt him bad?" Naomi mumbled waking up. "He's fine babe, go back to sleep." Isaac insisted. "No way. Not now." Naomi insisted as she called their names and the three jumped, screamed and cried together. "Wow just like a concert. Wait does this mean they aren't jumping up and down because of us?" Zac asked. "What?" Jessy asked turning back to him and when he repeated it they all laughed. "Tay? Where's a bathroom?" Chele whispered. "This way babe." Tay said taking her hand. Chele stood there staring at their hands. Totally awed by how hers seemed to fit perfectly inside his and amazed by the warmth she felt the minute their hands touched. "Great feeling huh?" Taylor asked lifting her hand to his lips. "Oh yeah." Chele answered as he led her down the hall, waiting outside for her to finish. "You didn't have to wait, I think I could have found my way." Chele insisted as Taylor slipped her hand in his again. "Maybe, maybe not and I would have felt so bad if anything happened to you." Taylor said. "Yeah maybe, maybe not." Chele repeated letting Taylor lead her back to the others. The girls went non-stop chatter to catch up on everything since they were last together. After the first twenty minutes non-stop Naomi grew quiet and soon was cuddled in Isaac's lap. "Okay Babe?" Isaac whispered. "Wondering the same thing SIs?" Chele asked. "What's up?" Jessy asked sitting in front of her. "Nothing is wrong, actually everything is right for once in my life. Can you believe it, I'm happy." Naomi squealed with delight as Isaac hugged her tighter. "Yeah you sure are happy. It's about time." Jessy shared. kissing her cheek before rising and heading to the couch Zac was seated on, "Okay if I sit here?" Jessy asked. "Sure, I'd like that.." Zac replied. "I'm beat." Jessy moaned while she stretched. "Man you're all knots." Zac said placing his hands on her shoulders and rubbing. "Aaaaahh! Don't stop please." Jessy pleaded. "Why don't you come sit here." Zac suggested patting his lap. "You sure. I'm a big girl." Jessy questioned. "You are not big. Maybe tougher than shit, beat my ass badd, but you aren't big." Zac insisted pulling her to his lap. "Zac." Jessy protested. "Sit still so I can do this." Zac insisted, pulling her back down as she tried to get up. "Well I warned you." Jessy reminded as she began to moan her pleasure. "Man you got great hands Zac. So strong." Jessy shared. "I use them alot. Or did you forget?" Zac asked turning Jessy red when she realized what she'd said. "I guess I forgot. No one would believe it. God what have you done to me, I let you drive my turck and forget you're Zac Hanson." Jessy pouted. "It's okay Jessy. You'll be just fine, I'll take care of you." Zac offered. "You're going to have to, you've turned me into a, a, girl. Yuck." Jessy complained. "Babe I can't take credit for that, you God's creation not mine and he did a mighty fine job." Zac shared. "Jesus Zac. Stop it." Jessy squealed covering her face with her hands. "I'm sorry it just came out. You are pretty Jessy." Zac whispered wrapping his arms around her pulling her closer. "Zac Hanson what do you want? Stop saying those things." Jessy said twisting around to look at him. "I want you to go out with me, okay?" Zac asked gazing deep into her bright blue eyes. "Uh huh?" Jessy answered lost in his warm brown eyes. "Stop it Zac." Jessy said when she realized what she was doing. "Nope. Can't and don't want to." Zac teased. "You can too." Jessy argued. "Nope can't stop." Zac teased. "You sure?" Jessy pouted. "Oh I love the pouty lip. Come here pouty lip." Zac teased and before she knew what had happened, he was kissing her, sucking on her lower lip. " Who do you think you are? I didn't say you could kiss me." Jessy screamed pushing away from him, her hand ready to slap him until she looked at her hand, then Zac. She just stood there for what seemed an eternity and when Zac cringed, sure she would slap him, Jessy dropped her hand to her side and turned, running from the room. She headed out the back door making her way to the lake, throwing stones. "What did you do?" Chele screamed, joined by Naomi, Isaac and Taylor. "I kissed her is all." Zac answered hanging his head. "Well don't just sit there. If you meant it, go find her and make her understand." Chele suggested. "She's right bro. You probably scared her, it is a little soon to be putting such major moves on." Taylor added. "You think I'm right?" Chele asked turning to see his face as he answered. "Yeah babe. He needs to make her understand he meant to kiss her but maybe it would have been better if he'd waited until she wanted to kiss him." Taylor answered bringing a big smile to her face. "Zac you should apologize but let her know you couldn't help yourself, it's what you wanted, to kis her." Isaac suggested. "Oh my romantic." Naomi said kissing Isaac deeply. "Whoa. I think I'll take your advice." Zac replied making his way outside. "Jessy I'm sorry, please don't walk away. Please?" Zac said as he got near watching her raise her arm, wiping her face. "God Jessy I didn't mean to make you cry. I'm so sorry, please don't cry." Zac pleaded. "How could you?" Jessy asked refusing to look at him. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have kissed you even though that's all I wanted to do. I should have waited until you wanted to kiss me too." Zac shared. "Really? You mean it Zac?" Jessy asked turning to see the look in his eyes. "Yeah Jessy. If I could take it back I would. I'm so sorry for not considering your feelings." Zac apologized bringing a smile to her face. "What?" Zac asked looking puzzled. "I mean wow Zac you just admitted you were wrong." Jessy answered. "I was out of line Jessy, forgive me?" Zac asked sincerely. "Yeah I forgive you. Umm Zac?" Jessy asked. "What Jessy?" he replied. "You're a good kisser." Jessy shared turning red and looking away. "I am?" Zac asked surprised. "Uh huh. I liked it even though you shouldn't have." Jessy answered "Cool. I mean. It's nice to know Jessy. I haven't kissed a lot of girls." Zac shared. "You haven't? Why? Seems like, no it doesn't... Zac I haven't kissed a lot of boys, actually just two." Jessy confessed. "Two?" Zac asked shocked. "Yep just two. A group of us were hanging out together at the fair, you know after the work was done and we went to watch the night performance. Some sucky singer. Anyways everybody else was kising so we did. Let me tell you because everyone else is, is no reason to kiss someone. Man bad kisser. Like major dead lips. He was pathetic. The other was at the end of my first and last date. He was a good kisser. But I get back in school the next Monday and fnd out I did much more than just kissed. I made him so sorry and I didn't lay a hand on him. I got a pretty mean mouth Zac. Let's just say he was sorry he embellished on the truth. I made him tell everyone he lied, only kissed me and didn't even get to cop a feel. Needless to say my datability bottomed out. The few who asked, I declined." Jessy explained. "Man I'm getting off easy then huh?" Zac teased. "Yeah you are." Jessy chuckled and they laughed. "Do you forgive me?" Zac asked again. "Yeah Zac, I forgive you for kissing me before I was ready to be kissed. Umm Zac am I suppose to tell you when I'm ready to be kissed or what? I mean I don't want you to never kiss me again." Jessy asked suddenly looking away. "Will I know if you don't tell me?" Zac asked reaching for her hand, lightly stroking it before slipping it in his. "You tell me." Jessy answered taking her eyes off their hands and gazing deep into his warm brown eyes then at his lips before returning to his eyes. Zac smiled and leaned in, kissing her tenderly as Jessy kissed him back as tenderly. "I guess I can." Zac sighed taking both her hands in his gazing at her. "Yeah you can." Jessy sighed. "Can you tell if I want you to kiss me?" Zac asked puckering his lips. "Oh God Zac do I have to." Jessy laughed. "You don't want to kiss me?" Zac pouted. "I didn't say that. Of course I want to kiss you." Jessy answered as she started laughing again. "Then shut up and kiss me." Zac said puckering again. "What I won't do for you." Jessy said as she leaned in, kissing him on the cheek first, before moving to his lips, kissing him deeply. They walked hand in hand around the lake, getting to know each other. "Looks like they worked it out." Taylor shared noticing her kiss him and them walking hand in hand. "Man it's cold out there. You hardly have any snow but is it cold." Jessy shared as they returned. "You know I thought that the day I ran into Isaac." Naomi shared. "Yeah but she's so tiny, she sent herself tumbling, dropping everything." Isaac added hugging her. "But you were so interested in the skater you didn't give tiny me the time of day." Naomi teased. "Touche. Well she's more than just the skater, she's everything to me, the love of my life." Isaac said lifting her and sitting her beside him. "Aww I liked it there." Naomi pouted. "Babe, Naomi Merchant you are my everything you know that don't you?" Isaac asked. "Yeah hun I know you love me and I love you." Naomi sighed. "We talked about getting married. You know I want to marry you now so I can keep you safe." Isaac said rising, reaching in his pocket before bending down before her. "Naomi Merchant you make my life complete. I have looked for you forever and now that I've found you, I don't want to waste anymore time. Make my life whole, marry me? Be my wife, my partner in life, my best friend, my lover for the rest of our lives." Isaac asked bringing tears to Naomi's eyes. "Of course I'll marry you Isaac Hanson. I want nothing more than to be your wife, the mother of your children. Yes I'll marry you." Naomi answered kissing him deeply as everyone cheered. "Marry me soon?" Isaac whispered. "Yeah hun, soon. As soon as we can arrange it." Naomi replied as Isaac opened the box and lifted out the ring. "Oh Isaac it's beautiful. It's too much you shouldn't have. We could probably by a car with what you paid for it." Naomi exclaimed. "We don't need a car, we have enough and it's the only wedding ring you'll every own so enjoy it." Isaac replied slipping the ring onto her finger. She gasped, covered her mouth with her right hand as the tears fell Naomi extended her left hand, gazing at the ring. "Looks as beautiful as you." Isaac whispered. "I love you for this, it's so wonderful just like you." Naomi declared hugging him tight. "I want to see. I want to see." Jessy squealed. "Me too, Me too." Chele joined. "What a rock." Zac commented. "He's right it's the only one she'll ever get it should be drop dead gorgeous." Taylor added as they all surrounded the two. "What's all the fuss about?" Diana asked. "Oh Mom look. Isn't it the most beautiful thing you've ever seen?" Naomi asked raising her hand. "He asked you. About time. Can't wait until you're officially mine." Diana shared making her way through the crowd, hugging her, adding, "Welsome to the family." "Thanks Mom." Naomi replied noticing Walker entering the room. "Look what I got Daddy." Naomi said raising her hand. "Impressive. Someone must love you an awful lot." Walker shared. "As much as I love him." Naomi whispered as Walker hugged her. "Congratulatons son. You two are so meant to be, your bound to have a happy life. This calls for a toast. Taylor given me a hand." Walker said. They two returned with sparkling grape juice in champagne glasses and the rest of the family. "We've waited for this day for quite some time. Feared it at times, not knowing how it would change our family. I'm glad to say we don't fear Isaac loving you. You are such a blessing. The whole family adores you. Welcome to the family Naomi. To Isaac and Naomi." Walker toasted and they all raised their glasses. "I just want to say how smart you all are to have figured out how special she really is. My big sis has the kindest soul of anyone I know. You guys are so fortunate to have her in your lives." Jessy said, turning to face Naomi, raising her glass and finishing, "To Naomi, the best big Sis I could ever ask for. God definitely worked overtime on you." "I love you too Jessy." Naomi choked out huggng her tight. "I have feared sharing my first born. Through the years I have been ever so vigil, not letting anyone too close to my boys knowing that someday the right girl would come along and love them the way the deserve to be loved. Just thank you sweetie for making him so happy. To Isaac and Naomi." Diana toasted raising her glass as Walker wrapped and arm around her. "Me do. I want to say Naomi is really, really pretty and I like her." Mackie exclaimed raising his glass. "Oh thank you my special little man. That makes me so happy and I like you too." Naomi shared bending to his height, clinking glasses before kissing his cheek. As they took a sip, "I'll go for that one, Naomi is really, really pretty and I like her. She's really cool for an older woman" Zac teased. "Thanks I think." Naomi laughed hugging him. "Me Nomi. Me Nomi." Zoe squealed receiving everyone's attention. "Me Nomi purdy." Zoe said raising her glass. "Oh thanks lil sis. I love you too." Naomi shared clinking glasses before picking her up and hugging her, making her way back to Isaac. "Good toast Zoe. A regular public speaker huh?" Isaac teased. "Me do good?" Zoe asked . "Real good sis." Isaac declared wrapping his arms around the two of them. Jessie and Avie shared their happiness. "I've never met anyone who deserves happiness as much as you Sis. I'm so glad you found him. He definitely is a good guy, runs in the family I think. I know you two will be very happy and have lots of happy, healthy babies. Remember I love to babysit babies." Chele toasted. Not to be out done, "Hey I love little rugrats too. Just let him love you sis, he has so much to give and like Chele said I've never met anyone who deserves him more than you do. Be happy." Taylor said pulling her from his brothers arms, hugging her tight before kissing her forehead. "Thank you all. You know it's hard to believe the way my life started out, that I'd end up in one of most loving families I've ever known. You know I remember a Christmas when I was about seven, maybe six, of course my folks were out and the Nanny was about three sheets to the wind. I couldn't stand it, so I put on my coat and started walking and walking. There was noone on the streets, it was Christmas Eve, but this one house was full of singing, laughing and love. I couldn't resist looking in the window. I stood there watching, then I prayed that someday I'd have a life like that. There was a boy about my age who noticied me and pointed, which sent me high tailing it all the way home. I just want to thank you all for answering my prayer." Naomi shared bring tears to most eyes and smiles to their faces knowing they were the answer to her prayer. The whole family discussed the wedding, sharing what they'd like. "I want to wear a long fancy dress." Avie shared. "So it's formal." Naomi said taking notes. "I don't want some media frenzy, keep it simple, maybe just family." Isaac suggested. "Hun simple and your family don't match up and I've only met maybe a fourth of your relatives." Naomi complained. "Well as simple as our family can be then." Isaac insisted. "When? Somebody tell me when?" Walker asked. "Don't look at me. Ask him," Naomi insisted. The discussion continued into the wee hours of the morning. Way past Naomi's bedtime who had fallen asleep in Isaac's arms. "Let me put her down and we can work on the guest list some more." Isaac said lifting her and heading to her room, adding, "If either of you are tired there's another bed in her room, a trundle." "I really don't feel like driving in the dark when I don't know where I'm going." Jessy shared. "I agree Sis. Why don't we bunk with Naomi for the night and go home in the morning." Chele agreed. The seven worked on the guest list for another hour before calling it quits and heading to bed.
