"I don't mean to drive you crazy. It's just all my fault. I never realized she could do such a thing, hurt you. I love you and some sicko tries to kill you because of it. God forgive me I didn't mean for you to be hurt." Isaac confessed sitting on the edge of the bed watching her sleep. "She's been asleep for a long time. She's missed breakfast and it's almost lunch time." Diana worried lightly touching her forehead to check if she was feverish. "What time is it Mom? Did Isaac come home? Is he still mad at me?" Naomi asked. "It's almost noon. I didn't know he was mad at you, are you sure? Maybe you should ask him." Diana suggested looking behind her. "Isaac. I'm sorry. Honest I didn't mean to hurt you like that I'm, I'm.. just so sorry." Naomi apologized fighting the tears. "I'm not mad at you. I'm not even hurt. I guess I deserved it. I really have gone overboard. I just feel so guilty, if it was't for me that sicko never would have touched you." Isaac explained. "It's not your fault, it's hers, all of theirs. They're the ones Isaac not you. You couldn't hurt someone like that, it's not in you." Naomi insisted, adding, "There isn't a person in this house that could lift a hand to another human being that way. They're just sick, sick, sick." "Amen to that. You hungry sweetie?" Diana asked. "Yeah I am. I never got my shower either, I pissed you off and cried myself to sleep over it." Naomi explained. "I'll fix lunch and you shower." Diana suggested heading to the kitchen. "Do you forgive me for saying what I did? Isaac I don't want you to leave me alone, honest." Naomi said crawling to his arms. "I know you don't. I was driving you crazy and I'm sorry." Isaac apologized. "You're sorry, I'm sorry. We're pathetic. Just a couple of sorry suckers." Naomi teased kissing him playfully everywhere lips, nose, eyes, forehead, neck until Isaac could take no more and pinned her to the bed and kissed her deeply. "Aaahh. You're so good at that." Naomi sighed. "Good at what?" Isaac asked. "You kiss so good I forget about everything else." Naomi explained kissing him back with more passion. "We better get you in the shower." Isaac said. "We?" Naomi squealed nibbling on his neck. "We. Nice idea." Isaac suggested. "Yeah it is." Naomi said rising then taking his hands and pulling him to his feet. "Babe we..." Isaac started to say as they heard, "Nomi, Nomi" Zoe called out. "Hey Lil Sis." Isaac said opening the door. "Nomi, Nomi." Zoe squealed racing to her. "Zoe, Zoe. What?" Naomi squealed back. "Hunry. Mommy said eat." Zoe shared. "Already. I haven't taken a shower yet." Naomi said heading to the bathroom. "Me, me?" Zoe squealed tugging at her clothes.. "So you want to shower w ith me instead of your brother huh?" Naomi said making a pouty face at Isaac who moaned, "Nooooo." "Let me help you. There you go." Naomi said taking off her diaper and clothes Zoe immediately streaked her brother, giggling all the time. "Come on babe, it's your turn,I'm waiting." Isaac called out. "In your dreams. Run her back this way please hun." Naomi asked starting the shower as Zoe ran her way squealing. "Come on free spirit, in you go." Naomi said lifting Zoe into the shower before turning and looking at Isaac before she dropped her towel and blew a kiss his way. "You're terrible but I love you anyway." Isaac declared. A few minutes later they emerged and Isaac helped dress Naomi as she dressed Zoe. They headed to eat, "Hey sweetie. So did you know who's truck?" Diana asked. "What truck?" Naomi asked. "Isaac Hanson if you're not going to share what you've shared with me you have to tell me." Diana scorned. "I just forgot Mom. Babe When I split, I headed to your place and there's this blue Ford pickup, the kind with a back seat parked in the drive and I assume they were in the house." Isaac explained. "Jessy. Oh my God it has to be Jessy." Naomi squealed grabbing a phone and dialing her house. "Jessy, Jessy are you there? Pick it up if you are, it's me Naomi. I'm at Isaac's house.." Naomi was saying as the voice of her dearest friend, "Shut up with the I'm at Isaac's. What are you doing at Zac's place, that's what I want to know." Jessy asked as, "No, what are you doing at Taylor's?" she heard. "Noooo. Both of you, I'm on my way I can't believe this. Aaaah!" Naomi squealed as she felt the pain in her stomach and felt ill. "Naomi. Babe what is it?" Isaac asked as she dropped the phone and raced down the hall. "Sweetie what's wrong?" Diana asked in hot pursuit. "Hey Jessy?" Zac asked picking up the phone. "Yeah this is Jessy. What's wrong with her?" Jessy asked. "I don't know. I honestly thought she was better. She didn't complain or moan anymore so I assumed she was better. But I guess not. She turned real pale and grabbed her stomach before running to the bathroom. I take it she's puking and she hates to puke." Zac explained. "Boy that's an understatement. She has to be okay. She's been through so much and when things finally start going her way a psycho fan of yours does this to her." Jessy said her anger growing. "Yeah I know. Man Isaac is on such a guilt trip over this and Naomi keeps telling him it's not his fault, now this. God he'll never forgive himself now. If we weren't Hanson she never would have gotten hurt." Zac shared in almost a whisper at the end. "Zac don't feel that way. She may have been a fan of you guys' but there is nothing about you guys that would promote her behavior. She is so totally not Hanson. Zac a true fan would never hurt you guys that way. Man you could see how happy she made him. That picture where she was in skates and he was holding her in his arms, God Zac you could just see it in his eyes, he was truly happy, not smiling for a camera." Jessy insisted. "Yeah I saw. Wow you must be a fan if you saw it." Zac gasped. "Well I have a little more incentive than most.... I love her Zac. She's like an older sister to me. She has to be okay Zac." Jessy said fighting the tears. "Don't cry Jessy. You're right she has to be okay. My Mom's in there too. She really loves Naomi. You know she's been staying here ever since it happened. Mom and Dad couldn't stand it, Dad said it was like one of his own being hurt and he was going to protect her from now on." Zac shared. "Really?" Jessy gasped. "Yeah Jessy, really." Zac assured, hearing her crying. "Man Jessy I didn't mean to make you cry." Zac insisted. "I'm okay Zac, just a little scared. She has to be okay." Jessy sniffled. "Yeah I know what you mean. Hey Jessy you want to come out here. I bet she'd love seeing you." Zac suggested and gave directions, agreeing to meet her and lead her. "I'm going after Naomi's friend and bring her here. Okay Dad?" Zac shared. "That's nice son. I'm sure seeing Jessy will help her." Walker said pacing the floor, addng, "Taylor go with him please. I don't need anything happening to any of you. Never go out alone. You never know what psycho fans will do." The guys loaded up and Zac headed to the place he said he'd meet Jessy. "There she is. I think. A blue Ford truck, man tough truck, listen to it. "Aaaaah! A white van with Oklahoma plates. Finally." Jessy screamed and the two laughed. "God Momma would enjoy this. All those white vans we've screamed at and now this one is it." Chele teased, adding, "Whoa looky here." Jessy looked at the group of guys headed their way. "Hey girls. I'm Steve, my buddies Mark, Dave and Bill. I see your out of state plates. Welcome to Tulsa." he said. "Oh my God they're hitting on us. Let's go find Zac and Tay." Jessy said nervously. "Oh enjoy it Sis, believe me this is going to be fun." Chele teased opening her door and sliding out as eyes popped. "Poor suckers." Jessy whispered as she opened her door and slid out and headed to the van. "Hey where's she going?" one of them asked. "Sorry guys I'm not here to meet someone new.... Well I am, but it's not you." Jessy answered looking at the shadows in the tinted van windows and walking to the passenger side. "Hey Zac, I'm Jessy." she introduced herself as the window went down. "Yeah you are. I saw some pictures of you and Naomi. You ready to go?" Zac asked. "Ummm me yes, Sis, I don't think so, she's not done playing yet." Jessy answered, adding, "Hey Tay do you mind waiting on her. I really need to see Naomi. I got to know if she's okay. She has to be." Jessy asked getting quiet. "No I don't mind. You and Zac take your truck. I'll wait on her, Chele I mean." Taylor answered bringing a smile to Jessy's face. "Thanks. You're not bad for a big brother." Jessy said as Zac put up the window, before stepping out of the van. "Sis I'm heading there now. When you're through you can go in the van okay. I have to see her now." Jessy shared as Zac extended his hand to her. "I'm ready. Sorry guys I gotta go." Chele said heading their way. "Umm fine, Tay's waiting." Jessy said as she reached for Zac's hand. It was magical. As her fingers grazed his hand she felt this surge of energy race from him to her, filling her with this warm sensation bringing a smile to her face. As his hand engulfed hers, this feeling of peace came over her. She felt as if she were truly safe, that he'd not let anything hurt her. As she looked up at him, she suddenly felt the need to be protected, taken care of which was so out of character for her. Jessy was tough, the only girl of five, two older and two younger brothers and she didn't take anything from anybody. She didn't need her brothers to protect her, she took care of things on her own and was well known as tough, hard, something to be reckoned with. For the first time in her life she had met someone that made her feel vulnerable and she didn't know if she liked it until her eyes met his. "It's okay Jessy. Honest everything will be okay." Zac said pulling her into his arms, hugging her tight as he whispered in her ear. "I promise everything will be okay." As he kissed the top of her head she began to cry. "Promise Zac?" Jessy whimpered. "Yeah Jessy I promise you." he answered and she sighed and relaxed in his arms. "Come on let me get you to her and you can see, everything is going to be okay." Zac said leading her to the driver's side. "Umm Zac do you mind driving, I mean you know where we're going and I haven't a clue." Jessy asked climbing into the truck and sliding over to the middle. "You're going to let me drive your truck? You sure Jessy?" Zac asked. "Man I guess I am. I can't believe this I'm letting you drive my truck. Don't bother telling anyone because they won't believe you." Jessy teased. "Oh my God I don't believe it. Your brother is driving Sis's truck. She doesn't let anyone touch her truck." Chele gasped. "It's just a truck." Taylor said as Chele ducked down, "Is it safe to come up? Did she hurt you?" Chele teased. "Real funny. Well as far as Zac's concerned it's just a truck to her." Taylor shared. "I don't believe it." Chele said shaking her head as the truck pulled out and they were in hot pursuit. "I still don't believe your brother loves my sister, I mean Naomi." Chele said correcting herself. "It's okay if you refer to her as your sister. She told me how close you are." Taylor explained. "Man Sis has been through so much. She so deseerves Isaac to love her." Chele shared almost in tears. "He's looked for her like forever. I mean Isaac is the total romantic. I'd swear by the age of four, he was looking for Naomi, the girl of his dreams. He finally finds her and some nut case tries to end it by killing her." Taylor explained his anger over what had happened very apparent. "Tay not all your fans are sick like that. Most of them are thrilled he found her and loves her so. I mean a lot of fans are so happy for them." Chele insisted. "You're right. Thanks for reminding me. I, We have been so down on the fan aspect ever since they hurt her. I mean she didn't do anything except fall in love with Isaac and they beat the shit out of her. He's driving her crazy being so overprotective but he can't help it, he feels so guilty. We all do." Taylor shared. "Oh Taylor it's not Hanson's fault. Don't blame anyone except those demented animals, they are the ones who did this, no one else. It's not because you're Hanson, it's because they are evil. A good person could never inflict that kind of pain on another human being." Chele insisted. "Evil huh? That makes it easier to accept. Now it makes sense. I was so hung up on a person couldn't do that to another person but an evil person could." Taylor said and you could feel his spirit lighten. "You okay Jessy? You're so quiet." Zac asked as she leaned his way, laying her head on his shoulder. "I'm just so scared for her Zac. She tends to keep things in. Man when we first met I thought she was the most stuck up brat ever. When I finally got by all her defenses and she shared what she'd been through... God Zac noone deservers that, you know to think, feel unwanted. From birth.. she never knew anything but she was not wanted, an inconvenience. How could they?" Jessy explained her anger growing. "I can't imagine it Jessy. They have no idea what they're missing out on, she's way cool." Zac replied "Yeah she is. You know you must be awfully smart to have figured that out so soon." Jessy said looking his way. "Nah she pays me to say that." Zac teased as Jessy burst into laughter. "Is that someone you know Zac?" Jessy asked pointing at the truck next to them. "Nope. Nobody I know. Probably just trying to show off." Zac suggested. "Oh what a Loser than. Do you drag race Zac?" Jessy asked. "Umm in the family van? No Jessy I don't." Zac answered. "You want to?" Jessy asked. "Don't know how Jessy." Zac answered. "That's not what I asked. First thing, check for cops, all directions and parked along the street. I don't see any. Next mash on the brake with your left foot, right foot on the gas and start revving the engine. The truck will surge forward just a bit before the brakes take over. Keep revving and when the light changes, take your foot of the brake. As the brakes releases you may fishtail a little, just stay cool, it'll straighten itself out." Jessy explained putting the truck into four wheel drive. "Burning all four is so much fun." Jessy explained, adding, "That is if it's what you want to do. You don't have to but it is fun and I don't mind." "Sure you don't mind?" Zac asked. "Go for it." Jessy answered . As the light turned green, Zac made tracks leaving everyone in the dust as Jessy slipped it out of four wheel drive. "Fun is right. So why you got such a tough truck?" Zac asked and Jessy gave him the quick version of her life story. She was a farm kid, the only girl of five, and she bought the truck with the money she'd earned selling her animals at the fair over the years. "Buyers tend to get a little crazy, one year the gallon of milk from my Grand Champion Dairy Cow went for over a thousand dollars. My Grand Champion Beef Steer, Buddy, brought in almost four thousand. My brother beat me on Dairy Steer, I got reserve but got more for him, those buyers sure like blondes I think." Jessy explained. "Wow you sound like your life is as crazy as mine." Zac said pulling into his drive. "Hey it's me, open the gate." Zac said at the gate box before waving at the video camera. As the gate opened, Zac drove her the rest of the way to see her dearest friend.
