Over the next few months Naomi and Isaac grew closer if that was possible, considering they way they started. Soon Naomi was loved by the entire family, not just Isaac. Naomi decided to ignore the results of the poll taken on redeveloping the downtown property she owned and went ahead for her idea for a year around Music District and her biggest allies were Jessy and Chele. After a few trips to the homes, Naomi finally convince their parents to allow them to move in with her, giving her temporary guardianship after guaranteeing she would see they both went to college. Naomi enrolled the girls out at Holland Hall even though Walker had offered to home school the girls. "Daddy I just don't see it working. Tay and Zac would never be able to keep their minds on their subjects. Besides the girls are so used to a school setting, I'm not sure how they'd adjust. They both made the volleyball team and are looking forward to it now that they've quit whining about not being home schooled. Isaac said the band is still writing music and won't be traveling until they head to record. He guessed about the time school was out. Maybe next year depending on the bands schedule." Naomi explained. "Just as long as you know I'd do it sweetie. I know you have guardianship of the girls but I feel like they're mine already, just like you." Walker replied wrapping his arm around her. "Oh Daddy. You have no idea how grateul I am that you're in my life now. It's not just finding and loving Isaac, God I can't believe he loves me... It's Isaac and all of you... I finally have a family to belong to and just know I thank God every single night for you all." Naomi shared as she cuddled in his arms. "We love you too sweetie. I have daughters but the first time you looked at me with those big blue eyes, I melted, just as if Diana had gifted me with you like all my other little girls. You know what Isaac calls you?" Walker asked. "Umm did you have to wash his mouth out with soap? Naomi teased. "You are so funny sweetie. Nope when he talks about you he says 'My Little Pretty'. Isn't that just the sweetest." Walker shared. "My Little Pretty? Isn't that what the bad witch called Dorothy? I don't know if I want to be a Little Pretty." Naomi shared, quickly adding, "I know I'll just see if he's a warlock. If not it's okay to be his Little Pretty." She was off in a flash, grabbing her bottled water, calling out "Isaac?" "In the game room babe." she heard as she made her way downstairs. "Isaac Hanson is it true? Do you call me your Little Pretty?" Naomi asked entering the room, "Oops. Hi guys." she said noticing Taylor and Zac. "Hey Sis." Zac said wrapping an arm around her and kissing her cheek. "Stop hogging. Come her Sis." Taylor said opening his arms. "I'm coming. Zac either let go or come with me." Naomi said as the two of them made their way to Taylor and all three hugged. "You know Daddy said he calls me that all the time and you know that's what that witch called Dorothy." Naomi whispered. "You know I've wondered at times." Zac joined in. "That would explain a few things." Taylor added and they all chuckled. "This is serious. That's why I brought this." Naomi shared lifting the bottled water. "Water? You thirsty?" Zac asked. "Not ordinary water, this is Witch Detector." Naomi squealed. "Your shot Zac. What are you up to?" Isaac asked. "You never answered my question, is your Dad telling the truth do you call me "My Little Pretty"?" Naomi asked again. "Yeah babe, when I talk about you I call you "My Little Pretty." Isaac answered as the three gasped together. "You know he never did like my little dog Wicket." Zac shared as they gasped again. "Give me a break. He was always shittng on my things, my clothes, my backpack, my homework. Mom had a fit when I turned it in. Made me rewrite it." Isaac explained. "Maybe. I don't know." Naomi sighed. "He did put a basket on his bike. Nobody else put a basket on their bike." Taylor shared. "What? That's because you weinnies couldn't carry your own lunch or water bottles." Isaac explained, asking, "What's this about?" "She thinks.. Well you do call her your little pretty." Taylor shared. "I don't know anymore. I mean I wouldn't like Wicket too much if he only shit on my things. And he was so nice to carry your lunches and water bottles. I don't think he can.." Naomi was saying as Zac screamed, "If you're a Warlock you'll melt before our eyes." as he grabbed the Witch Detector from Naomi and popped the top sending it sailing in Isaac's direction. "Zac I don't thnk he is.. Aaaaahh Zac you're dead you hear me." Naomi squealed as she stepped into the stream of water he'd launched, completely drenching her from the top of her head right down the front of her. "Naomi why'd you move? Now we don't know if he's a good or bad warlock." Zac said as he burst out laughing. "You're dead wiennie boy." Naomi screamed. "Man Isaac I didn't know she wasn't wearing a bra, honest. You better cover her up quick." Zac exclaimed quickly turning red as Isaac slipped an arm around her covering her up. Zac rushed from the room only to return with a dry shirt for Naomi. "I'm really sorry Sis." Zac said offering the dry shirt and towel to Isaac. "Thanks Zac." Isaac said nodding towards te door. "Come on Tay." Zac said pulling him out the door with him. "Don't you dare laugh. I mean not one snicker." Naomi warned. "Sure babe. Let me help you." Isaac said pulling off her wet tee shirt, dropping it to the floor before toweling her off as he moaned. "God I've missed you. Tell me again why I'm waiting to make love to you." he moaned. "Like I understand why you won't make love to me. I beg you everyday to love me but nothing except the lecture on how special it will be." Naomi complained. "Naomi how many of our peers can say they were virgins on their wedding night." Isaac asked. "Maybe that should tell us something, noone else waited, ain't no big deal." Naomi suggested. "Fine if that's how you feel. Here do it yourself." Isaac said handing her the tank, adding, "Why don't you just go find someone to screw you so you have all the answers. Ain't no big deal." "Fine then." Naomi said pulling the tank over her head, quickly adding, "Jesus Avie's and it fits." "But you're not little huh?" Isaac asked snottily. "You're impossible. It was suppose to be you all wet and laughed at but no, Zac goes and messes everything up and I get drenched and teased. Standing there with my boobies showing through my wet shirt." Naomi explained as Isaac started laughing. "It's not funny." Naomi insisted. "Oh yeah it is." Isaac laughed harder. "Is not. Stop laughing at me. Isaac Hanson. Stop it." Naomi screamed as he laughed harder, unaware of her mood change. "Stop please."Naomi barely whispered as the tears started to fall along with her self esteem. She looked at her reflection in the window, hating what she saw as her shoulders drooped forward and her head hung low. As Isaac rolled back and forth laughing, the last of her self esteem bottomed out and she slowing turned and walked out the door right past Taylor and Zac. "Sis wait. What's wrong sis?" Zac called after her. "Stop it Isaac. Stop you asshole. Go after her. God you didn't see her, she looked... Like the pictures in the scrapbook. You know before Jessy." Zac shared as Isaac sat up looking around the room for her. "She's headed out the door by now. How could you laugh at her?" Zac accused. "I didn't mean to." Isaac answered scrambling for the front door. "Babe wait. Naomi please you promised. Remember no matter how mad you are at me you won't take off alone." Isaac yelled at her, finding her behind the wheel of his car. "Why'd I have to promise." Naomi moaned as she tapped her head against the steering wheel. "I'm sorry." Isaac exclaimed as he opened her door, sitting on the floor facing her. "I don't want to talk to you. Just drive me home please." Naomi said without emotions as she scooted to the passenger seat, looking out the side window. "I didn't mean for this to happen. Naomi I love you, please forgive me." Isaac pleaded as he leaned her way pulling her seatbelt on. "Don't touch me." Naomi said pushing his hands away, taking the belt and fastening it herself. "I wasn't.. Oh never mind. You don't care." Isaac complained. "Good you got that straight." Naomi said snottily, looking back out the window. Isaac drove her home in silence, stealing glances of her, heartbroken at what he saw. "Naomi I'm.." he tried to say. "I don't want to talk to you." she yelled putting her hands over her ears. "You're so pig headed at times." Isaac mumbled a little too loudly as her shoulders drooped a little more at his words. "When are you going to grow up? You act like a spoiled brat. Such an embarassment. Such a little child." Naomi heard over and over in her head, "Stop" she screamed grabbing her head. "Babe what is it?" Isaac asked terrified, pulling to the side of the road."Naomi what? Tell me?" he begged looking at the terror in her eyes. "Make it stop." she asked as the tears broke free. "God please, help her? She's everything to me. I love her even though I don't act that way at times. Baby I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings by laughing." Isaac apologized, praying, "I beg you to listen. I'll give anything, take me instead, just let her be okay. She means everything to me and I can't stand to see her hurting. Amen." Isaac whispered wrapping her in his arms, feeling her pain as her body trembled. "Baby are you okay?" Isaac asked. "I am here." Naomi choked out as he lifted her to his lap pushing his seat all the way back. "Make what go away babe?" Isaac asked kissing the top of her head. "IF I tell you, you'll think I'm crazy." Naomi answered in a whisper. "Naomi that's not true. I love you babe, I'd never judge you." Isaac insisted. The hurt in his voice was like a slap in the face, "I didn't think Isaac. I'm sorry I know you wouldn't judge me. I do really. Umm this one time, he, umm it's just the way you said I'm so pig headed. I mean you sounded just like him, so disappointed in me and what I was and you'd said little and he always cut me down I was too little this, and too little that. It's just I suddenly remembered him and the things he used to say to me." Naomi explained fighting the tears. "Babe I'm not disappointed in you. I never could be. I think you're amazing. There isn't anything you can't do when you put your mind to it." Isaac said kissing the top of her head, softly hugging her. "Naomi I still get scared at times, you know I look at you and you're so beautiful. You're prettier than any model I've ever seen. It's just sometimes I get afraid you'll realize that and dump me. Don't get upset, I do know better babe. I know you love me and would never do that. You still hear his criticism and I still think you're to beautiful to love me." Isaac explained. "Don't you remember, I already tried dumping you and I'm the one who ended on the floor sort of." Naomi teased. "Oh yeah when we met. I guess you'll need help to dump me huh?" Isaac teased. "Hey is that a little joke?" Naomi teased this time laughing. "The only thing little around here is that tank you're wearing. Man you're sexy in little girls clothes." Isaac declared as he caressed her bare midriff. "Your skin is so soft." he moaned as his hand slipped under the tank. "Oh I need you so bad." Isaac moaned as his hand cupped her breast, lightly squeezing. "Isaac there's a cop and he's looking this way." Naomi said crawling back to her seat and buckling up. "Hey I don't care if he stops. He'll understand pissing off the woman he loves and having to make it all better. He'll probably suggest getting a room." Isaac chuckled. "Oh cool. I'm for that." Naomi perked up. "We know. We know." Isaac teased pulling back into traffic and heading in the city. "Tell me my little pretty. What's going on in the city?" Isaac asked as they both laughed. Naomi was what was going on in the city. Her revitalization plans were well under way, impressing Tulsa so that the city declared it a Development Zone, lowering the tax base and approving her plans for Restoration funding. With the new funds, Naomi expanded two more blocks towards town and was doing battle with the city over a large brick warehouse in the remaining block. The city wanted to knock it down, calling it an eyesore and Naomi envisioned it as a teen center. As the first block renovation was completed and the grand opening was quickly approaching the rumors started. The band was consuming most of Isaac's time as they wrote more songs for the new album and Naomi was working around the clock, every spare second spent on her rennovation project. She had been up all night tying loose ends together. Personally checking everything for the news conference the morning of the Grand Opening. "Where's your brother? He promised me he'd be here." Naomi asked with such disappointment seeing Taylor and Zac coming through the door without Isaac. "Place looks nice Sis. He's still writing. Man is he hot about that picture of you falling asleep on Deputy Mayor's shoulder last night. Did you know the Star hinted at something between the two of you?" Taylor asked. "What? No I didn't. That suck up is driving me crazy. I wouldn't put it past him to have started the hinting." Naomi fumed. "Suck up eh?" Zac asked. "Oh Zac he is so annoying. Don't even know he's around until there's a camera and he's like all over me. By the time I say something the camera's gone and so is he." Naomi explained. "A brown noser huh?" Taylor asked. "Yep describes him to a tee. So you two came to cover up for your brother not coming huh? He isn't going to is he?" Naomi asked the disappointment evident. "Sis don't cry." Zac whispered wrapping an arm around her. "Well as long as you're here babying me I will. Thanks for trying but I'll be okay. The girls are next door making sure everything is ready. Why don't you go check on them for me and give them a hand." Naomi said a distant look in her eyes. Like radar the minute the guys were out of sight, he moved in. "What's wrong? Let me make it better." Mike said wrapping an arm around her and smiling for the camera. "Stop it Mike. Stop acting like there's something between us. There isn't and never will be, I love someone else and I'm going to marry him." Naomi insisted. "You know you want me. Stop fighting it and give it up." he argued. "You pig. You disgust me. Did you all get that?" Naomi declared turning to the press. "Get what?" a reporter asked. "Aren't you from the Star?" Naomi asked. "Yes ma'am." he answered. "Well I hear you hinted at something between the Deputy Mayor and myself in this mornings paper. Thanks a lot. Now my fiance is pissed at me, I haven't been to sleep since the night before last, and good old Deputy Mayor, Mike here, is acting like a suck up. I didn't even know he existed until you guys started covering my project here and now I can't shake him no matter how hard I try. I'm afraid to stop he's following so closely. I'd have to have to have him surgically removed if I did stop." Naomi teased. "Sorry I'm late babe. Did I miss anything?" Isaac asked making himself know. "The fiance. How do you feel about our Deputy Mayor and your fiance?" a reporter asked. "What about them? My fiance, she's the most beautiful person inside and out and I love her more than anything. The Deputy Mayor is just that, a politician. They come and they go. Sometimes not soon enough." Isaac answered making his way to Naomi and wrapping her in his arms. They all watched as she came to life before their eyes. Gone was the disappointment, the hurt, the sadness as the biggest smile appeared and her eyes twinkled from the love she felt. "I can't believe you're here. Zac said you weren't happy with the picture in the paper. I'm sorry." Naomi whispered as he hugged her. "I was wrong. I have nothing to be jealous of, nothing to fear. I know you love me, not anyone else and I should have put a little more faith in that love. Sorry babe." Isaac whispered back. "I do love you. So much so, sometimes I think I'll just die from the happiness I feel when I'm in your arms." Naomi whispered as he pulled her even closer and kissed her deeply as cameras flashed as they were joined by his brothers. "Thanks for calling me and reminding me how much I love her bro." Isaac whispered slapping Zac on the back. "Hey I love her too and I wasn't going to stand by and let you mess up a good thing even if you are my older brother." Zac replied. "You are the bestest little brother who's bigger than me." Naomi declared hugging Zac. "Everybody's bigger than you." Zac teased. "Well good things come in little packages." Naomi teased back. "They sure do. Can't wait for you to wear a white tee shirt again." Zac teased turning her red. "Isaac the family." Naomi squealed as they came through the door. "I forgot to tell you. I wasn't the only one not thrilled with the picture. Dad decided to upstage him by bringing the whole family. "Grampa." Naomi shared making her way to them. "Nomi. Nomi." Zoe said racing her way. "Hey my littlest sister." Naomi said bending and sweeping her into her arms. "Grampa, Daddy, Mom. Hey Jessie, Avie, Mackie. I'm so happy you all came. This is just wonderful. Thanks Daddy it means so much to me. I can't believe you're all here." Naomi greeted them excitedly right before the press conference got underway. The rennovations were well received and the Hanson Family's pressence helped ease the fears of teen clubs. The district became very popular with people coming in from all over to visit and showcase their talents. "So you ready to marry me now. The last block is underway so you should have time for me now." Isaac asked late one night. "What? Isaac do you really feel like I have no time for you?" Naomi asked shocked by his words. "Yeah sometimes. I'm just as guilty though, we've been working some really late nights lately." Isaac confessed. "I should say, call me a 3am because you forgot at a decent hour." Naomi teased. "Honest babe I thought it was like 11pm if that, when you answered and I knew you had been sleeping I freaked when I looked at the clock. My first thought was to hang up but I know you got caller ID and you would have been more pissed." Isaac shared and they laughed. "I've been so busy with all this, this... aargh. I will stop I promise... Oh man but the Governor asked me, did I tell you the Governor called me?" Naomi shared. "No. When? Aren't we important." Isaac teased. "I am you butt. Or at least I better be to you or you are in deep trouble. You be careful I know the Governor." Naomi teased, laughing even harder. "Baby what about us?" Isaac asked as the laughter stopped. "What about us?" Naomi asked puzzled. "Man you sure it's me you love and are going to marry. When is the question. Babe you're still going to marry me right?" Isaac asked. "Isaac Hanson how can you ask that? Have I been that bad? Isaac it just seems like everytime I have time, you don't. What do you want me to do? Isaac I'll do anything, just tell me what. None of this is important, you're all that matters." Naomi declared as she started to cry. "Babe don't cry." Isaac said in a soothing voice, adding, "I'm sorry I guess I just missed you so much. Forgive me babe, I didn't call to make you cry." "Isaac I'm scared." Naomi whimpered. "Why you scared babe?" Isaac asked. "I can't remember the last time we, you... Isaac I haven't seen you since Sunday at church. That's three days. How did this happen?" Naomi gasped. "No it can't be." Isaac exclaimed. "Sunday at church and then I was off. Mom was so mad I missed Sunday dinner, she made me come out Monday night to dinner and you go and take off with your Dad and brothers promising to come to dinner Tuesday." Naomi reminded him. "Yeah but you fell asleep before I got there." Isaac added. "Excuse me, dinner was at six not eleven. I cooked for you and you never showed up until everything is ruined and I've cried myself to sleep." Naomi pouted. "I said I was sorry. Babe I still am, I did't mean for things to go that long. Forgive me?" Isaac asked. "I'm tired of fighting. That's why I'm scared all we do is fight lately. You're mad at me all the time because I'm working. I can't take it anymore. I'll just quit. I'll tell the Governor no." Naomi sighed. "That's stupid. We do not fight all the time." Isaac insisted. "Oh now I'm stupid. I love you too." Naomi pouted hanging up and crying into her pillow as the phone began ringing. "I don't want to fight anymore so find someone else to fight with." Naomi answered through her tears before rolling over into her pillow and crying all over again. "Naomi. Hun. Babe talk to me." she heard, finally giving in to his pleas. "What do you want now?" she choked out. "Babe I don't want to fight either. You're right I have been mad because you're so busy. Hun I'm sorry. Please don't turn down a chance to work for the Governor." Isaac shared and Naomi explained the Governor calling and inviting her to speak on her Revitalization Project at the national level. "Washington D.C. huh? I'm impressed but I knew you could do it Naomi. Maybe I don't tell you often enough how proud I am of what you've done. Now if I can only get you to put your mind on marrying me." Isaac teased. "Isaac I promise the Governor's project and marrying you are the only thing on my agenda." Naomi promisd and she kept that promise. The national coverage of what she'd accomplished brought the first news coverage of her parents as they claimed responsibility for the way she turned out, talking about her troubled times, intimating drug problems. "How dare they. I won't stand for this. This time I fight back." Naomi declared and backed by Isaac and his family, she finally stood up for herself, suing her parents for slander, winning the lawsuit and the dissolution of their parental right, barring them from ever speaking of her publically. As the school year ended and before Hanson headed to the studios, Isaac and Naomi were married at his parents' home, family only. Naomi's next project involved them all as she purchased another block and rennovated the oldest building in the city into Middle Of Somewhere Recording Studios. The surrounding buildings were turned into film studios, production studios and various office spaces for the numerous agents, talent scouts and represetatives that go hand in hand with the music and film world. "Hey Little Pretty, what's going on in the city." Isaac teased all the time but no longer asked do you love me? He no longer doubted her love as their first child grew inside her.
