"Zac I've kept in touch with her sister Chele." Taylor shared. "Really. I didn't know." Zac replied excitedly. "I didn't say anything because they asked me not to. I mean Chele asked me not to because Jessy didn't want to pressure you she said." Taylor explained. "Pressure me. What?" Zac asked confused. "I guess Jessy thought that you were just being nice that night, not being interested in her and she didn't want my relationship with Chele to pressure you so she sort of asked we keep it quiet." Taylor explained. "Man I'm glad I didn't call him and ask how to get in touch with her. I've been debating that for almost two weeks. Hey Kid it's me Zac Hanson and I got the hots for Jessy. How do I find her and make her mine?" Zac shared. "Whoa. A little embarassing to say the least. You want to talk to her, here." Taylor said dialing the phone and handing it to him. "Hello." someone answered. "Jessy? This is Zac Hanson." he asked. "No it's Chele. Hang on a minute, I'll get sis." she answered and he heard. "Sis phone is for you. Hey booger come play with me while Mommy is on the phone." Chele said. "Who is it?" Jessy asked handing her the baby. "Didn't ask Sis. Want me to?" Chele said taking the baby and heading outside to the swing. "Hello." Jessy answered. "Jessy it's me..." he started to say. "Zac? Is it you?" Jessy asked thrilled at the thought he found her. "Yeah it's me. How you been? How's Bubba?" Zac asked. "Umm we've both been fine. He's cutting teeth and not too thrilled with it." Jessy shared. "Man Zoe screamed bloody murder until they came threw and then she was like such a happy baby." Zac replied. "I hope we get there soon. I'm running out of ideas to help him." Jessy explained. "Hang on a minute okay Jessy?" Zac asked. "Sure Zac, sis has the baby outside in the swing. It's about the only place he's happy." Jessy answered and waited a few minutes. "Jessy you still there?" Zac asked. "Yeah Zac." Jessy answered. "I asked my Mom and she said try freezing his favorite fruit and then let him suck it or gnaw it. Mom says the cold numbs the gum so he shouldn't feel the pain as much." Zac shared. "Wow I can't believe you did that." Jessy gasped. "Did what Jessy?" Zac asked. "Zac you asked your Mom. What she must think. Man I bet that just thrilled her to no end." Jessy mumbled. "What? Gees Jessy. I told my folks about you when I met you. I mean did they ever lecture us on drugs and the record business. Jessy they don't think that way honest. I mean they don't blame you or nothing. Like you said having a baby at 13 wasn't your plan." Zac explained. "You told them everything?" Jessy asked. "Well everything you told me. Remember you reaming Kid about the single parent thing. My Mom said she was proud of you for standing up for yourself and putting him in his place." Zac shared. "Man I don't believe this. Wow. Zac I really don't believe it. I've been hiding for so long so afraid what people will say. I guess I'm just praying I stop looking like a kid you know. You said it remember, she's so tiny. If I'd only grow maybe people wouldn't stare so." Jessy explained, adding, "I mean the things they ask or say. "Babysitting?" "You're too young to have a baby!" "Oh that was my brother's rude comment." Zac remembered. "If I was too young I wouldn't have gotten pregnant Duh!" Jessy complained. "I never said he was an Einstein." Zac teased. "He writes great music though." Jessy replied, adding, "Zac remember when we were backstage watching Bobby, I mean Kid perform. You got real quiet and I asked if it was because of him and you said no then yes. You never told me what." Jessy reminded. "I guess I didn't. I've always liked his music Jessy. Right from the start when he made it big. It's just after meeting you and hearing everything he did, the song just wasn't the same anymore. I agree with him though, only God knows why." Zac answered. "That's it. You were quiet because of him. I mean being disappointed in him. Man Zac. I should have listened to Sis. I thought, oh no I'm not going there. You'll get mad." Jessy said. "There you go again with the I'll get mad remark. Why would I get mad?" Zac asked. "Umm I don't want to talk about it okay?" Jessy explained. "Not okay. Jessy why would I get upset with you?" Zac asked. "Zac I'm sorry okay? Can we just drop it?" Jessy asked. "I'd rather you tell me Jessy." Zac said, adding, "But if you don't trust me I guess it's okay you know." "Man. That's it Zac but it's not you, it's me. I don't trust anybody anymore. Well except for Sis. She's always been there for me and still is Zac. I'm afraid you'll take it personally you know. It's not just you Zac okay, I don't trust anymore. I'm sorry." Jessy admitted. "Hey I can understand that Jessy but I still don't get it." Zac replied. "Zac it's just when I think things out, not trusting, I guess I think some pretty low things about you and you don't deserve it. I mean I know you're not Bobby but I never thought he'd do anything like that. I mean who am I suppose to trust." Jessy said wishing she could just hang up. It hurt dealing with things the way they are. "Jessy you still there?" Zac asked breaking the silence. "Uh huh." Jessy replied. "Jessy I can understand now okay. Can I ask you to try and give me a break here. You're right I'm not him Jessy and I would never think of doing such a thing. But Jessy I can understand that you would feel that way. How else do you protect yourself?" Zac shared. "It's not just me anymore Zac. I have to protect the baby too." Jessy replied. "Yeah I know. He's so cool Jessy. You've done a real good job of raising him." Zac said, adding, "Jessy I didn't mean to make you cry but you are a great Mom." "Oh Zac. Man that means so much considering the one you got." Jessy replied and the two talked until she finally had to go to take care of the baby. Zac called everyday from that point on, sometimes two or three times. A couple of months later, "Zac do you think you'd like to come. I mean nobody should bother us, we're out here in the boonies." Jessy asked. "Yeah Jessy I'd love to come. Tell your sister thanks for the invite and I'll see you and Bubba Friday night." Zac answered. "Cool. We'll see you Friday night then." Jessy said trying so hard to keep her cool and as soon as she hung up, she screamed so loud. "What? Where is he?" Chele asked racing into her room with a ball bat. "Down Sis. Zac is coming. Thanks for asking him to dinner, I never would have had the guts to do it." Jessy answered. "Cool he's coming then?" Chele asked. "Yeah if you put down the bat." Jessy teased. That Friday night was the first of many dinners, breakfasts, weekends spent together, Chele and Taylor, Jessy and Zac. It was also the beginning of the first test in their relationship. "Jessy I thought you loved me?" Zac asked a couple of months later. "I do. You know that. Why do you have to push though?" Jessy answered and asked. "My folks want to meet you. Babe please for me?" Zac asked again. "I don't know Zac. What if the press gets hold of this. No I can't do it." Jessy answered as she began to panic. "Jessy the press can't get in at our house. You and Bubba will be safe. Don't you trust me yet Jessy?" Zac asked, adding, "I'm sorry. I know don't push. Someday you'll trust me and then I guess you'll come." "Don't say that." Jessy said starting to cry. "Babe don't cry. I promise I won't push again. Please stop crying." Zac said taking her in his arms, adding, "I won't ask again Jessy just don't cry." "I'm just so scared Zac. Your fans are going to hate me from the get go and when they find out about the baby. No Zac, I can't. They'll say he's yours and you had to, I mean have to. No I can't do this." Jessy said before starting to cry all over again. "Jessy stop now. Hey Bubba you woke up boy." Zac said making his way to his room and picking him up. Jessy stood in the doorway watching as he changed him, played with him. As he turned to leave, there was Jessy with the biggest smile on her face. "I'll go Zac. You know that I love you right? Zac I never thought I'd feel this way again. No that's not true. Zac I don't love you the way I loved Bobby. It's different. It's so much more than what I felt for him. Zac I love you with my heart and soul. I'm still terrified but I know I love you and you love me. I know you love the baby too Zac and I trust you with him. He just adores you." Jessy said making her way to him, wrapping her arms around him kissing him deeply, adding, "Zac I want you so bad. I mean I want you to... Zac I love you so much." "Ive been waiting for you to figure that out." Zac teased. "Oh you are so dead. Like you knew." Jessy squealed. "Hey I got the baby. Be careful woman." Zac proclaimed. "You ain't hiding behind a baby are you Zac? Oh big bad Zac hiding behind a baby." Jessy teased as Zac began playing peek-a-boo, hiding behind the baby. "Oh God I give." Jessy choked out as she began laughing. "Wow. I would have thought she'd be crying not laughing. Is this a good sign?" Chele asked. "Yeah Sis, she's coming to meet the folks." Zac answered. "Great. You staying the whole weekend?" Chele asked. "What? What are you talking about?" Jessy asked. "Oops sorry." Chele said. "Jessy we just got to the yes so I didn't have time to explain." Zac explained. "Are you sure Zac. You're whole family." Jessy asked not as sure anymore. "Yeah babe I'm sure. Jessy they all know I love you and the baby and are waiting to meet you." Zac answered wrapping an arm around her pulling her close, adding, "Everyone knows I love you but you." "I think I finally got it." Jessy replied. "Me, me, me." the baby squealed as he toddled in the room. "Hey Bubba." Jessy replied. "Hey Bub." Zac replied and he toddled his way right to him. "Way to go boy." Zac exclaimed, lifting him into the air, turning to Jessy, adding, "Now you better got it because me and Bub are tight woman." "Oh you are, are you?" Jessy teased making her way to them. "Me ack." the baby squealed hugging him. "So you're going with Zac huh?" Jessy asked. "Me huh." he answered, shaking his head yes. "Have fun hun. I guess I'll catch up with you later. Hey Sis. Is it okay if I ride with you because Zac's taking the baby." Jessy asked. "You're what? Taylor Hanson I heard you say what a babe magnet the baby was. You better not go chick hunting. You do know the baby loves me best and will tell me the whole truth. I have ways of making him talk." Chele teased. She and Jessy walked the guys out to Taylor's car. "Babe why don't you just take mine it already has the babyseat in it." Chele suggested turning back and grabbing her keys. "Good I wasn't too keen on moving that contraption. They take a mechanic degree to install." Taylor replied and they loaded into Chele's Durango. "You be careful of my car now. You mess her up and I'll make you pay." Chele teased. "Same here. You be watching where you're going, not no hottie walking down the street." Taylor replied. "Oh boy you don't let me have no fun no more." Chele teased. "Nope you are mine woman and I'm the only bod you'll be watching." Taylor insisted. "Oh my favorite thing to watch. Oh my favorite thing to think about. Oooooh my favorite thing to touch." Chele moaned as her hands caressed his body. "Chele I love you." Taylor moaned. "I know Tay and I love you too babe, forever and a day." Chele replied kissing him deeply. "I can't believe how much he adores you. Almost as much as I do." Jessy said watching Zac buckle in the baby. "Bye baby." Jessy said leaning in and kissing him goodbye. "Buh buh mum." he replied waving. "Bye bye Mom." Zac declared kissing her deeply. "Uhhh. You sure you wouldn't rather stay here, just us. Zac I want you so much." Jessy whispered her hands admiring his body. "Oh babe you know I would but my folks really want to meet you and the baby. Like I said babe, everyone but you knows how much I love you." Zac insisted, adding, "Jessy don't cry babe." as he wrapped her in his arms. "Zac I can't do this. I'm sorry I'm scared. What if the press catches you with Bubba? What if Bobby finds out? He's going to hate you when he finds out his son would rather be with you than me. I mean he, he, me. God Zac. I can't do this. No." Jessy cried totally losing it. Zac swept her in his arms and headed away from the car and the baby. "Jessy stop it. Don't do this to yourself." Zac pleaded. "I can't help it. This is my reality. The man drugged me and raped me to get what he wanted. He wants his son Zac." Jessy sobbed. "He's not getting him. Jessy you told me that he signed papers he would never try to get him or he'd be charged with what he'd done. He can't get him Jessy." Zac insisted holding her tight. "It's just a piece of paper Zac. When he finds out I love you, Bubby loves you a piece of paper isn't going to matter." Jessy whimpered. "So you love me huh? I knew it, I knew it." Zac teased. "Oh God Zac." Jessy gasped and then started laughing. "Jessy let me handle him okay? Try not to worry babe." Zac replied adding, "I'd never let anything happen to either of you." "I know Zac. I don't mean to make you feel like I don't trust you. Zac I know you wouldn't let anything happen to either of us. But he's so, so...sick." Jessy said hugging him tight. "Jessy. Jessy, will you marry me? I mean you know I adore you and the baby. Say you'll marry me Jessy." Zac asked. "What? Zac Hanson I don't believe you." Jessy gasped. "Believe me Jessy. Someday you will and you'll say yes." Zac insisted. "Yeah I think you're right. Zac promise me you'll be careful." Jessy asked placing her head on his shoulder. "Yeah Babe I'll be careful. See you at the folks's okay?" Zac asked heading them back then loading up and leaving.
