Ash shared as the watched Chele dancing with another of their friends. "Here hang onto this Ash." Taylor said handing him his bottle of water. "Mind if I cut in?" Taylor asked. "Of course Tay, thanks for letting her dance with me." a buddy said. "Mind?" Taylor asked. "You know I love to be in your arms. I just plain love you." Chele whispered in his ear. "Don't want anyone else to know huh?" Taylor asked. "Taylor Hanson you know that's not true." Chele argued pulling away from him. "Hi, my names is Chele. I was wondering if you had heard that I was madly in love with Taylor Hanson." Chele declared to stranger after stranger, making her way through the crowd finally returning to Taylor. "Hey, my name is Chele and I was wondering if you had heard that I was madly in love with Taylor Hanson." Chele shared. "Um, I think I heard that somewhere before." Taylor whispered. "Excuse me everyone, did you hear that..." Chele shouted. "You're madly in love with him." they all shouted back. "Good you know. Just Checking." Chele giggled. "You're crazy." Taylor whispered. "Yeah, about you." Chele replied shyly and as she lifted her eyes and the came in contact with his bright blue eyes, time stood still. They stood there, gazing into each other's eyes as if they were the only two people in the universe. "I love you Chele, you're everything I've ever dreamed of and more." Taylor confessed. "And he loves you too." everyone shouted just as Taylor was about to kiss her. "Who's side you on. Sheeesh I was about to be kissed." Chele complained. "Kiss her, kiss her." they all chanted. "Sorry babe, your public insists I kiss you." Taylor said taking her in his arms, leaning her back and kissing her deeply as the applause began. "You drop me and you'll be sorry." Chele whispered into their kiss. "What you going to do?" Taylor whispered into their kiss. "I'll never do this again." Chele warned as she kissed him passionately arousing emotions they had never explored before. "Chele, I love you." Taylor moaned. "Man she must be good." Ash said loud enough they heard and they remembered where they were. "I wish I had kept I love you a secret now" Chele whispered as Taylor stood them back up. "Now you think of it." Taylor teased red faced. "Oh baby you're blushing. How cute." Chele exclaimed kissing his cheek sweetly. "Babe do you have to say cute." Taylor complained turning redder. "Sorry lost my head there. Won't let it happen again." Chele replied looking around, noticing Ash with a bottled water and what he was drinking. "Tay's?" she asked as their eyes met. "Yeah, here's your water Tay." Ash offered as he neared. "Great party Ash. These all your friends or is this a word of mouth thing?" Chele asked. "Umm I think it's both Chele, I have no idea who any of them are or that group there, but the rest are friends. Well except this one." Ash said pointing around the yard, finally singling out Taylor. "Oh and he told me you had invited him, that you were friends and I believed him. When will I learn." Chele said taking his drinking, "Tay I'm going to dance with the host, could you hold his drink for me please?" "Watch out for strangers baby." Taylor teased. "Oh you're right, dance with me Ash but I can't talk to you okay." Chele teased. "You're are a weird one." Ash exclaimed. "Taylor you telling people about me again?" Chele pouted. "No baby, I didn't tell him you were weird. But you know I don't like normal." Taylor answered. "You two take the cake." Ash laughed. "Ummm cake." Chele moaned. "Now you did it. You dance with Ash baby and I'll run to the store and buy you a cake okay?" Taylor said finding Heather and Isaac handing off Ash's drink for the car keys. "Taylor if she didn't specify, I'd love a piece of white cake." Heather called out. "Cake. Did someone say cake." echoed throughout the group. "I'm going, I'm going." Taylor said as he left. "You young lady are so good for my best friend. Chele I've never seen him so happy. Thanks." Ash shared kissing her cheek as they danced. "It goes two ways Ash. Taylor's love has opened a whole new world for me. If loving him wasn't enough, my new family is so great. They are all so warm and loving, treating me like a member of the family already and, and.." Chele paused. "What Chele? You can tell me, I mean I haven't seen much of Tay since he bumped into you, but we're pretty tight. We tell each other things we've never told anyone else but I think that will change now, he has you." Ash replied getting quiet. "I don't mean to take your best friend Ash, honest. You know that Zac asked Jessy to marry him right?" Chele asked. "Yeah Zac told me and she said yes. He even showed me the ring he bought her but before he could propose again that jerk almost drowned her. He isn't the same now is he?" Ash asked as stunned Chele. "He bought her a ring? Ash I didn't know. Jessy doesn't know. Man Ash she's worried that her almost dying, well yeah Zac has changed. Jessy's worried that he's changed his mind about getting married. She's terrified of the lake now Ash and she thinks Zac is backing away from her. I don't think that's it, it's more like he's afraid to let her out of his sight. You know he feels guilty about what happened. He told me he had promised her that nothing would happen to her, and that jerk almost drowns her and he didn't stop him." Chele shared. "That's it, he's sheltering her, treating her like his baby not the love of his life." Ash declared. "You're right, that's what's changed. He's taking care of her instead of loving her. Just like tonight, he's all up to come and Jessy gives him some look and they head to the bathroom and when they come out he explains he forgot that he promised her to go to the warehouse and get her something and that they'd be going there instead. Lame. She doesn't need tha stuff now. She's afraid of the water and he babies her." Chele shared. "Oh, I was worried it was because of Todd the Jerk pawing her at the lake. I didn't see it or I would have decked him. He was bragging on it and one of his buddies persuaded him to book before she decided to tell her boyfriend. He flipped when he heard she was Zac's girl and split." Ash shared. "What nobody tells me anything anymore. Does Tay know?" Chele asked annoyed. "No I asked him to bring Jessy so I could talk to her. You know she didn't tell anyone Friday night when it happened, I sort of figure she was keeping it to herself. If I was Zac I'd be pissed. That's why I didn't tell Tay but I figured she'd confide in you, you're sisters." Ash answered. "Yeah but we had a thing Friday night and Jessy split, packed and headed to a Hotel so no she didn't confide in me. We're okay now and after almost drowning, she probably has just put it out of her mind. You promise you'll point this Jerk out to me someday, I have a few choice words for him." Chele said, adding, "Let's go call home and see if they're back. Maybe you can get her to change her mind about coming, then Zac can be her boyfriend instead of her guardian." "Great idea Chele." Ash said leading her to the house, dialing the Hansons. "Hey Mr H it's Ash. Is Zac and Jessy back yet?" Ash asked. "Yes they are Ash. You want to talk to them, they're in the familiy room with the kids watching a movie I think, oh wait a minute here's Jessy now. Sweetie, it's Ash and he wants to talk to you." Walker said. "Hello." Jessy said nervously hoping Walker didn't notice. "Jessy, it's me Ash. I wanted Tay to bring you tonigh because I wanted you to know that I heard what happened in the lake Friday night. Jessy I'm sorry I never saw it happen or I would have beat him to a pulp. Damn Jerk. He didn't know you were Zac's girl and that's still no excuse for what he did. But he was bragging later and when he heard you were Zac's girl he blew, long gone. That's when I found out when I asked why he split. Jessy he's not here, never will be invited to my place again and that goes for all your friends, he's out. Jessy if you want to face him and tell him off, I'll take you. Whatever you need to make this better." Ash explained. "Oh Ash I'm sorry, I didn't know who and I just, oh I'm so sorry." Jessy apologized as the tears started to fall. "Don't be sorry. You have to protect yourself kiddo and you didn't know who, so you have to assume everybody. Don't cry Jessy. I'm sorry he touched you, he was wrong and if I'd seen it I would have stopped it. Just know from now on Jessy, that you can come to me. I wouldn't let nothing happen to you either, you;re Zac's girl and that sort of makes you family." Ash explained. "Thanks Ash. Sounds like a great party in the background." Jessy exclaimed. "Yeah that's sort of why I called to see if maybe you two might want to come?" Ash asked. "That'd be neat. Let me ask Zac." Jessy said making her way to Zac. "Hun, Ash is on the phone and invited us to his party and I'd sort of like to go." Jessy asked leaning over his chair. "What? You want to go?" Zac asked leaning his head way back. "Yeah Zac. The lakeside mauler isn't Ash, he said he didn't know until the jerk split suddenly and when he asked why he found out what had happened. That's why he asked Tay to bring me so he could explain. He's pretty cool for a big brother's best friend." Jessy explained. "Sure I want to go if you do. Let's tell the folks and get our suits. Babe I'm sorry. Jessy we don't have to swim you know that." Zac explained. "Zac stop it. Stop apologizing because I have an irrational fear. You make me feel like a baby." Jessy said heading to the laundry room to change. "Jessy talk to me." Zac called after her, opening the door. "Just listen to me ple..." Zac stopped in mid sentence looking at Jessy's naked body as she put on her bikini bottom. "You could have knocked, but please close the door there's a draft." Jessy said pulling her bottoms up, adding. "Everything important covered back there now." "Yeah babe. Jessy I know I'm not suppose to apologize.." Zac tried to say. "Then don't Zac. You were bound to see me totally naked don't you think. I mean the start we had. Today is the day I guess. You okay because I am." Jessy said turning to see his reaction. "Yeah babe it was bound to happen, but it would have been nicer if you weren't mad at me for being over protective of you." Zac shared. "Zac I'm not mad at you for loving and caring about me. I guess I probably did sound angry, I wasn't Zac honest. You know you wouldn't treat me like a baby if I wasn't so busy acting like one." Jessy said wrapping her arms arnd his neck, whispering, "Zac help me not be afraid of the water okay?" "Jessy you know I'd do anything for you, just tell me what you need." Zac declared. "How did I ever luck out, you loving me the way you do?" Jessy gasped trying to hold back the tears. "I'm the lucky one Jessy. God has been good to me letting me find you." Zac replied kissing her deeply his hands showing her his love. "Zac I love you so much." Jessy exclaimed as their lips parted. "I know Jessy, we're so blessed. So you think you're ready to take on an irrational fear huh? Babe it's not really that irrational, I can't imagine what you felt but just trying to imagine scares me. Promise you won't push yourself Jessy." Zac pleaded. "Yeah Zac, I'll take care of myself for you. Hey your suit's here and the matching shirt. Change and take me out to party hardy." Jessy shared. "You know you're bound to see me naked someday right? Well how about today?" Zac asked pulling off his T shirt. "Seems only fair." Jessy replied pulling his clothes from the shelf. "So what's the secret to looking, touching, wanting but not reacting?" Jessy asked running her hand over his chest. "My secret. Jessy I just kept telling myself I love all of Jessy not just her beautiful body." Zac shared. "I love all of Zac not just his hot body. I love all of Zac not just his hot body." Jessy repeated and repeated, adding, "Not working, I want your hot body and if you drop you jeans right now I'll die. I can't do this Zac. I'm weak where you're concerned." Jessy pouted. "Jessy you can do this. You love me enough, I know you do." Zac whispered drawing her to him. "Zac I,.." Jessy moaned as their bare chests met, finally finishing, "I love you enough to do this." Jessy declared stepping back and holding his shirt then unsnapping and unzipping his jeans, pushing them to the floor as he stepped out of them. Jessy held his swimsuit as he stepped into them and she pulled them up as she rose, "I love him enough to do this." she whispered over and over. "You do don't you." Zac exclaimed as he helped her on with her top. Jessy pulled on her wrap around matching skirt and grabbed her beach bag filling it with the things they'd need and after telling his folks, they were on their way to the party.
