Hand In Hand

Part Five

Jessy slept sound, mostly from lack of sleep. She did wake once, trying everything, trip to bathroom, something to drink, music and finally, she showered and dressed then called and woke Zac. "Yeah." Zac mumbled finally picking up the phone. "Oh hun I'm sorry but you said to, oh I shouldn't have." Jessy admitted feeling so foolish. "No babe, why can't you sleep. I finally went to sleep figuring that you had gone to bed." Zac explained. "I did hun but something woke me and I tried everything to get back to sleep and I can't. Zac I've only had four hours sleep, I should be able to go back to sleep." Jessy said. "Babe it's 6am what time do you normally get up?" Zac asked. "Now, but Zac my boyfriend is going to get so mad at me." Jessy teased. "Babe why don't you let me talk to him. Maybe I can get him to understand, you're a healthy little critter and day without sleep won't kill you." Zac offered. "Oh hun you do understand. I promise I'll take it easy. I sure wish you'd get your drivers license. If you had it you could come and have breakfast with me. Momma promised to rent me a car so I'm not hotel bound until I decide how to work through this, this...uurrghh. Zac why'd she take his ring, she told me she wears the Hanson ring in this family. Maybe it's just me, I took it she and Tay were committing themselves to just them not them and I still have feelings for a total jerk." Jessy said angrily. "Babe I don't know what to say. That's what I'd expect though, just us. Jessy I want it to be just us. I want you to love me only, that's how I feel. I love you and only you. It sounds sappy doesn't it. I can't help that's how you make me feel. I never thought about it before Jessy, no. Jessy that's not true, I guess I have thought about you before but I didn't know it was you. That's why I feel the way I do, you're her. That's why I feel I know you. That's why I feel the way I do when I hold you in my arms. You make me feel alive Jessy, you know when I hold your body to mine, my whole body comes alive, my heart, my soul, you make my eyes pop and my toes curl. I kept feeling you were so important, so special and you are Jessy. You're her. Damn she was right. Huh, go figure." Zac finally paused. "She must be smiling down at you right now, shaking her finger because you doubted her and said damn, but she's smiling." Jessy added. "Jessy you would have loved her, she was really..." Zac paused and Jessy could hear the faint sobs. "Hun she's still with you, in the special place in your heart, she's always there babe. Special people never leave you, they're always alive in your memories and the live on in your heart always." Jessy shared to comfort him. "I need you Jessy. Please I have to see you." Zac pleaded. "Hang on hun, I'm going to run down the hall and use the courtesy phone and check the desk for my car. Be right back hun." Jessy said dashing down the hall only to find out the desk was trying to reach her, she needed to sign for the car. "Zac I gotta go and sign for the car. Can I take you out to breakfast, that is if I paid attention on how I got here from there. It took about 15 minutes last night so give me 25 in case I have to use a map." Jessy said laughing. Zac gave her directions and she headed down to sign for the car, drop the driver back at the airport and headed to pick up Zac. "Hey hun, I found you and I had to go to the airport and still found you." Jessy said at the gate, waving at the camera. "My little blood hound." Zac teased. "Hey you calling me a dog?" Jessy teased back, sticking her tongue out at the camera. "Boy I'm in trouble already, maybe I won't open the second gate. Oh yeah, you could still get in coudn't you." Zac laughed. "Sssh Zac I don't think Daddy liked hearing that his security is not the best, to put it mildly." Jessy shared. "You can say that again. He told us all to be extremely careful, for the balance of the weekend. He even said he was calling Jason to come to work until he gets with the security company. Jason pulled his camper trailer into the woods between the two gates about an hour after I got done talking to you." Zac explained. "Oh I see his trailer." Jessy shared as the gate opened and she headed in to get Zac. He was waiting outside the door and they headed right out. "Hun where can we go. I don't feel like being mobbed because I happen to fall in love with a teen heart throb." Jessy asked. "Babe it's not that way. Well yes it is. Jessy I don't know what to tell you, except it's you I love not them. I promise to take care of you and love you always." Zac confessed stroking her thigh as she drove and at the next traffic light, their eyes met and they both leaned towards the other, kissing each other until the car behind them honked that the light had changed. "Some people just don't know a thing about love." Jessy grumbled pulling into the next parking lot, parking, unbuckling her belt and crawling into Zac's lap. "Sometimes the only thing important is..." Jessy said kissing Zac deeply. "Oh babe, I love you." Zac shared lost in her bright blue eyes. "I sort of thought so and I really hoped you felt the same way I did when you took me in your arms that first time. My heart was beating so hard, I was sure you could hear it and when I looked to see if you did, I found the deepest, warmest brown eyes shining at me. I felt so lost and it's like you knew, just knew without me saying a word. You wrapped you arms around me, held me tight and swore you'd alway protect me and I didn't feel lost, I felt so safe, so protected." Jessy shared. "You feel it too don't you?" Zac asked. "Yeah hun, I feel it too. You're someone important to me, someone special. Someone I'm meant to be with now and always." Jessy shared as their lips met sealing what they now admitted, they were destined to be together. It was as if they were the only two people on earth and time stood still until Jessy's tummy rumbled. "Man we better get you something to eat. I know where." Zac said and Jessy crawled back into the drivers seat and followed Zac's directions to a small restaurant in his old neighborhood. "Hey Mr and Mrs Allen. Zac said as they entered. "Zachary. Momma look it's the little Hanson boy." the old man at the grill said and soon Zac's cheeks were being pinched by a little old lady. "Mr and Mrs Allen this is Jessy." Zac introduced. "So pretty." Mrs Allen said. "Look at that Momma." Mr Allen said pointing at Zac gazing at Jessy. "Oh my Papa our baby's in love." Mrs Allen said causing Jessy to turn and look at him. Jessy placed her hand on his cheek, lovingly caressed his face. "Isn't he just the cutest thing." Jessy declared. "You know Momma, they remind me of Walker and his Diana. You know they looked at each other that way." Mr Allen said as he asked what he could fix them as Jessy and Zac sat at the counter. They chatted all through breakfast, Zac called home to check in letting his Dad know where they were, "Babe, Dad wants to talk to you." Zac called from the payphone. "Hey Daddy." Jessy said taking the phone from Zac. "Momma did you hear she calls him Daddy." Mr Allen relayed as Zac sat back down to finish breakfast, "Yeah she calls him Daddy and he loves it." Zac shared. "Daddy wants to know if you have enough sticky rolls for the family." Jessy asked as Mrs Allen checked in back. "Babe what did Dad want?" Zac asked. "Me to promise him I'll check out of the hotel and stay with the family." Jessy answered. "Please babe, it's where you belong. With me and the family." Zac asked. "Zac you promised not to push it. I don't know what I'll do. I promised him I'd bring the rolls and we'd talk, okay." Jessy asked. "Yeah babe, it's okay. Jessy I didn't mean to push. Babe but you can't hide from your sister because things won't get better. Jessy you have to talk to her and let her know how you feel, even if it hurts her. She's your sister and she loves you. Babe I don't think anything you say can hurt her more than you running away from her." Zac shared, quickly wrapping an arm around her as the first tears broke free and made their way down her face. "Zac I didn't think of it that way. I guess I was being selfish taking the easy way out for me, running and avoiding it." Jessy admitted. "Jessy you are not selfish. What was it you told me, you left risking losing me so Chele could continue lying to Taylor. Babe it's just until you give Sis a chance to tell you her side, all of her side not just that she has feelings for the jerk, but why she feels that way, you aren't being fair." Zac explained. "Now why didn't I notice how sensitive and wise you are before now." Jessy asked wrapping her arms around him, hugging him tight. "I knew it was just a matter of time before you learned to appreciate all of my talents." Zac bragged. "Oh right!" Jessy teased kissing him over and over. They finished up, got the rolls for the family and Jessy drove to the hotel to check out. "How long do we have before check out time." Zac asked lying on the bed and pulling Jessy to him. "You can have the room for three more hours but I have a hot date with your Dad and I'm going to keep it." Jessy explained as Zac rolled her over, pinning her to the bed, kissing her deeply. "Can't we stay for a little while. It's just the two of us, me and you." Zac pleaded. "Me and you huh? I sure like the sound of that. Zac don't we have always and forever together?" Jessy asked kissing him deeply. "You're no fun." Zac pouted. "But you sure are." Jessy declared pushing Zac over, straddling him and kissing him passionately, over and over. "Jessy." Zac moaned as he rolled her back over wedging one of his legs between hers. "Please baby." Zac pleaded as Jessy gazed deep into his warm brown eyes before slowly letting him closer to her than anyone had ever been. "Zac." Jessy moaned as he slowly rubbed his body against her. She moaned his name again as a growing desire of him consumed her. "Jessy promise me someday we'll make love to each other. I want you so bad." Zac said kissing her passionately. "That's all I want Zac is for you to make love to me." Jessy pleaded as Zac held her tight. They laid together ga into each other's eyes for what seemed an eternity before they gathered up Jessy's things and checked out and soon were on their way home.
