As quietly as possible, Savannah made her way up to the second floor and snuck down the hall to the guys' room. She slowly turned the handle and inched the door open, listening for sounds of them sleeping. Savannah slipped inside the room and quietly closed the door, this time listening for any sound of the guys waking. When she was sure they were all still asleep, Savannah made her way to Isaac's bed. "Isaac." she whispered as she found his bed empty and quicky made her way to the window, searching the lake for his silhouette. When she found nothing, without thinking she made her way to Taylor's bed. "Tay. Tay wake up. Wake up Tay." Savannah whispered as she gently nudged him. "Huh? Savannah?" Taylor mumbled as he woke. "Tay where is he? He's not in his bed. Where can he be?" Savannah asked as the tears began to fall, adding, "I didn't mean for this to happen." "Savannah calm down. Don't cry. I'm sure he's fine. Did you check the bathroom?" Taylor replied as he sat up and wrapped his arms around her. "I didn't mean to come between you honest. I'm sorry." Savannah mumbled through her tears. "What's wrong?" Zac mumbled as her cries woke him. "Find Isaac fast." Taylor answered before asking, "Come between us? What do you mean Savannah? How could you come between us?" "He said it. Honest Tay it's not what I want. Please believe me. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen." Savannah answered as she cried even harder sending Zac rushing from the room to find Isaac. "What did he say? Savannah don't cry sweetie. You know you haven't come between us and I know you never would. I know you have a hard time understanding how we can be so close but I know you'd never come between us. Honest Savannah. Please don't cry." Taylor said holding her close. "But Tay, he said so in his letter and you said he didn't want to listen to you." Savannah said in a whimper. "Didn't want to listen to me?" Taylor asked puzzled by her words. "You know, when you got back from the club. You said he didn't want to hear what you had to say." Savannah choked out. "Oh Savannah. It's not that sweetie. Remember you asked why didn't he go himself?" Taylor asked. "Uh huh." Savannah answered with a sniffle. "Savannah while we were gone he must have done a lot of thinking. When I got up to our room he explained that he didn't want to hear what happened because it didn't matter, he was going to win you back somehow." Taylor explained causing Savannah to gasp, as he continued, "He wasn't quite sure how but he was sure he would. Did he figure out how?" "Uh huh. Tay I love him so much. I never should have said I hated him, I don't. I couldn't, just couldn't. I guess I was more embarassed that he told you than I was angry. Maybe not embarassed. I think I was scared that you'd think less of me you know?" Savannah replied. "Think less of you. God Savannah how could you think that! Look at me. Savannah I adore you for making him so happy. Man he's looked for you for so long. You know at times I guess I just thought it wasn't meant to happen. I worried that maybe it's not going to happen for me either. But that night after you two, uh, well you know.. It's just he was so happy, so contented, so at peace that, well you know I love him too, he's my best friend.." Taylor said overcome by emotions. "He makes me happy too Tay. I don't know if he told you but that first time really wasn't that great.. I mean it was just so..." Savannah confessed only to be interrupted. "Yeah he told me that he was on cloud nine and you were, well, you weren't. He only told me because he wanted me to know how much he loves you Savannah. He told me how close you two became because.." "Taylor I couldn't help but fall more madly in love with him. He was so caring, so... oh I love him so much Tay." Savannah interrupted. "Yeah I see you do. I'm so happy for you two." Taylor replied hugging her tight. "I'm happy for you two too." Zac said returning. "You mean it Zac?" Savannah asked raising her head to see him. "Sure do. If you marry him.... hmmmm my teacher is my sister-in-law. I should pass right?" Zac teased. "Easily as long as you complete all your assignments and pay attention." Savannah teased back. "No I mean without doing all the work." Zac chided. "Let's see. How do I answer this? No way!" Savannah said and started laughing. "Yeah she's saving that for me. I get to graduate without doing the work right big sis?" Taylor insisted. "Umm Tay I love you but it wouldn't be fair to you if I just passed you. Be honest you don't want to be another dumb blonde do you?" Savannah replied. "Yeah she's saving that for me, duh!!" Zac said diving onto the end of Tay's bed. "Whoa he's a big one. That was quite a bounce there." Savannah teased and started giggling. "Hey I am a growing boy and I'm hungry." Zac replied. "You're always hungry." Taylor remarked. "Now that you mentioned it I'm hungry too." Savannah added. "No kidding. You didn't eat a thing all night. Man, Jessie made out like a bandit. Next time you go out, I want to go with you so they buy my drinks, food and ask me to dance." Zac insisted. "Ummm Zac I don't think it'll work. I can't see guys buying you drinks and food or asking you to dance." Savannah choked out as she began laughing again. "Oh no Savannah guys like Zac. Remember Zac." Taylor replied with a chuckle. "Shut up. I say you get more fan letters from guys than any of us." Zac insisted putting a head lock on Taylor. "Hey that was close." Savannah squealed pushing Zac. "That's it Savannah save me." Taylor said slipping from Zac's hold. "Way to go Tay get saved by a girl." Zac teased. "What did you say?" Savannah called out as she grabbed Zac by the arm and pinned him to the bed. "Way to go Zac get pinned by a girl." Taylor teased. "That's the wrong bed Savannah. And that's the wrong Hanson you're on top of." Isaac teased entering the room. "Isaac." Savannah squealed racing to his arms. "I'm sorry babe." Isaac whispered pullng her close. "No I am. I don't hate you. I shouldn't have said it." Savannah insisted gazing deep into his eyes. "Hey we were playing with her." Zac pouted. "Man look at them. They look like Mom and Dad." Taylor said looking at the two still just gazing at each other. "Wow you're right." Zac replied awed by the sight. "I do love you Savannah. You know I can't stop thinkin' about you. In the morning, day, or night, I tremble at your sight. It's impossible to fight, I've tried. Now you're in my head and your mind I've read. All along you knew, I just want you to be mine. There's nothing I can do, I'm all wrapped up with you. You're in my thoughts, my dreams. Marry me and let me love you forever." Isaac asked kneeling before her. "Oh Isaac yes. I love you too. I have from the first time we went out together. I knew right from the start you were meant for me." Savannah answered bending down and kissing him passionately. "You said yes." Isaac whispered into their kiss. "Of course I said yes. Why wouldn't I?" Savannah asked as their kiss ended. "It's just... You know the last time I asked... Well you never answered me so I guess I just thought the answer was no and you didn't want to hurt my feelings." Isaac answered rising from the floor. "I didn't answer you because I was afraid you only asked me because you thought I might be pregnant." Savannah answered looking away. "Savannah that's not true. I guess I didn't think about that when I asked you. You probably did think it was because of what happened. Honest it's not Savannah. I know.." Isaac explained suddenly moving to his dresser, digging through a top drawer. "Here. See. This proves it. Look at this. See the date." Isaac exclaimed removing a receipt from a bag, handing it to her. "Oh Isaac." Savannah gasped looking at the receipt for the purchase of wedding rings dated a month before their mishap. "Savannah will you marry me and make me the happiest man alive." Isaac asked again, kneeling and opening the ring box. "Yes Isaac. I will marry you." Savannah answered, gasping, "It's so beautiful. Thank you Isaac." "Wow look at that rock." Zac exclaimed rushing over, adding, "Congratulations bro. You too Sis, I mean Teach." "You'll still do your assignments." Savannah replied as he hugged her. "Congratulations Savannah." Taylor said hugging her before turning to Isaac, "I can't believe you didn't tell me you bought her an engagement ring." "What? You'll tell him we had sex but not that you bought me a ring? Guys. I'll never figure you out." Savannah exclaimed. "Guys don't talk rings unless they're pitching horse shoes." Isaac replied with a chuckle. "Or talking bath tubs. You better have cleaned it Tay." Zac added and joined the laughter. "Yeah well I don't leave my rubber ducky in the tub." Taylor teased back. "I told you to leave my ducky alone." Isaac accused. "What? Isaac no. We better get a place with a big bathtub because when your ducky and my ducky get together. Who knows how many duckies we'll end up with." Savannah joked and they all laughed. "Man you fit right in." Zac insisted hugging her again. "You still hungry. I'm starving now." Savannah asked. "Yeah me too. Man Isaac we're hungry." Zac shared. "It's late not much is open." Isaac replied. "I know what I want and we've got everything downstairs. Fajitas Zac?" Savannah asked. "Great." Zac replied. "What about me? I like your cooking." Taylor asked. "Sure you too and even you." Savannah teased pointing at Isaac. "You better include me. Hey weren't you the one complaining I was too close to my brothers." Isaac said as the three left arm in arm. "Wait we don't fit through the door." Zac said bumping into the wall. "Well let go of her." Taylor suggested. "No you let go of her." Zac insisted. "Gees guys. I'm hungry remember." Savannah pouted. "Here I'll solve the problem." Isaac said whisking Savannah into his arms and heading out of the room.
