"It was awesome. I had such a great time. We were the center of attention. Mom I danced practically every dance. They were lined up to ask us to dance, to buy us something to drink. It was wonderful." Jessie shared excitedly as the girls returned from their night on the town. "You look like you had a good time." Diana remarked. "Of course they were lined up sweetie, you have turned into such a beautiful young lady." Walker added. "Daddy you have to say that." Jessie exclaimed. "But it is true, Jessie you are beautiful." Isaac added as he joined the family, his eyes glued on Savannah. "So the two of you were the center of attention?" Diana asked as Taylor and Zac entered the house. "They sure were. Man had them lapping up after them." Zac shared. "Yeah that's true but how'd you know?" Jessie asked turning his way. "We were there sis." Zac answered. "What?" Savannah exclaimed turning to face them only to find Taylor making his way to Isaac. "Why?" Savannah asked. "I'm sorry dear, I was worried." Walker answered turning her attention back to him. "You, you..oh I don't believe you sent in backup." Savannah replied, rolling her eyes at him before laughing. "Hey you didn't see you. I trust you it's all those dweebs with testosterone problems I didn't trust." Walker answered and they all laughed. Savannah looked back to find Isaac and Taylor talking. "He was probably spying on me and now is reporting back." Savannah thought as she replayed the evening in her mind "Oh no." she moaned remembering the encounter and quickly looked to see if she could tell if Taylor had seen her with him. As she looked back, Isaac was shaking his head no then turned and headed up the stairs. When Taylor looked her way, "What?" Savannah mouthed. "I'm not sure. He had wanted to know what happened, that's why I went. I guess he changed his mind though because he just walked away.Didn't want to hear what I had to say." Taylor whispered as he approached. "I said stay out of it Tay. Why can't you do that? What did you tell him?" Savannah asked in a whisper, adding, "If he wanted to know, why didn't he just go himself." "You know he loves you and seeing you with someone else... What did you expect him to do?" Taylor answered. His words were brutally honest sending pains of guilt racing through her mind. "Savannah. Savannah. Tell them Savannah." Jessie said trying to get her attention. "Ummm tell them what Jessie?" Savannah asked turning back to the family. "Tell them how they all asked us to dance." Jessie insisted as Savannah began to share her version of the evening. "I don't know about you, I'm changing" Savannah said as the questions died down. "Yeah me too. I'm tired." Jessie said heading upstairs. "Like who wouldn't be dancing as much as you did." Savannah teased. "I did, didn't I? Thanks again for taking me Savannah. I'll never forget it." Jessie said as she disappeared from view. *"Well I think I'll follow her lead and turn in myself. See you in the morning." Savannah said heading down the hall to her room. As she opened the door to her room, the darkness and solitutde seemed to offer comfort from the turmoil in her brain. "Why? How could this happen? How could he hurt me this way?" Savannah mumbled as she sprawled across her bed, hugging her pillow as the tears began to fall and she remembered how it all began.
"My name is Savannah and I have an appointment with Mrs Hanson regarding a teaching position." Savannah announced into the gate box after pressing the buzzer. The gate before her slowly swung open and Savannah began the journey up the twisting driveway, through the second gate and to the huge house. She remembered the first time she met Diana Hanson and the family. "That was the best day of my life." Savannah mumbled as she rolled over and rose from the bed, heading to the closet to change. "I remember the first time they met the real me." she laughed to herself remembering the long skirts and dresses she normally wore, her hair pulled back into a bun and glasses as a final touch. "Knocked their socks off the first weekend I dressed to go clubbing." Savannah thought as she looked at her reflection in the mirror before removing her leather outfit and hanging it in the closet. She had worn the exact same outfit the first weekend she lived with them. After a week of her teacher's wardrobe of long skirts, cardigan sweaters, or long jumpers, dresses, Savannah stunned them all in her leather mini skirt. "Wow you have legs. Long legs." Zac blurted out as she came into view. "Wow. Who'd know she was a hottie." Taylor shared a little too loudly with Isaac drawing her attention to them. That was the first time she had really noticed Isaac. Her first week was filled with so many firsts, her first Student Teacher assignment, her first move from the Dorms, her first week with a family. Savannah was an only child and she was totally amazed and awed by the Hansons, all nine of them. That first week Savannah spent almost every waking hour trying so hard to win over the younger Hansons, she hadn't even noticed Isaac, the eldest who had graduated the year before. As she looked at him, she was intrigued by the look on his face as he gazed at her. It was magical when their eyes first met. The smile that covered his face warmed her heart and she was soon smiling back at him. "You'll have to forgive my brothers, they don't get out much." Isaac teased and they both chuckled. "That explains a lot." Savannah replied with a snicker. "Give me a break. I saw your eyes pop out when you first saw her." Taylor teased back. "Oh so you don't get out much either huh?" Savannah asked. "Touche Savannah." Isaac replied, bowing graciously her way, adding, "I was surprised by your beauty." "Pleasantly surprised I hope." Savannah flirted. "Totally. If you don't have definite plans, I'd love a chance to get to know you better." Isaac asked. "Uhhh. Definite plans.. No I don't. I mean yes I was planning on meeting friends but it was nothing definite. You could join me if you'd like or we could.." Savannah answered totally shocked by his invitation. "Yeah we could. Let's." Isaac interrupted moving to her side, whisking her away. That was the first date, the first of many. The two clicked from the start and grew closer everyday. "Oh Isaac. How did this happen?" Savannah gasped remembering how much she loved him, how sure she was of that love. So sure of their love that only six months after their first date, Savannah made one of the hardest decision she thought she would ever have to make and the two made love to each other for the first time. Savannah had vowed she'd wait until her wedding night but she was so positive that Isaac was the man she was meant to spend the rest of her life with she finally gave into his pleas. "I wonder if you shared everything with Tay. Did you tell him how awkward we felt? Did you admit I didn't like it at first, I cried because it hurt." Savannah wondered making her way to the dresser, pulling out a nightgown. As the silk touched her body, she was overome with thoughts of his caress and how it excited her. "Did you share how I cry out still but in ecstasy, wanting you to love me again. Does he know that I like it now. Really like it." Savannah thought as she gazed out at the lake. "Did you share our scare with him?" Savannah whispered as her hands caressed her belly as she remembered the night down by the lake. For some reason she woke and couldn't get back to sleep. After tossing and turning, she rose to go get a drink hoping that would help her get back to sleep. As she passed the window she noticed him walking down by the lake. "Can't sleep either?" she called to him as she neared. "Can't stop thinking about you." Isaac replied taking her in his arms. They were both consumed with desire and Isaac quickly whisked her into his arms and rushed off into the woods. Overcome with passion, in their rush, somehow they didn't get the condom on right and off it came. "No." Savannah cried out as Isaac rolled away. "You sure baby?" Isaac asked as he continued making love to her. "Did you tell Tay you asked me to marry you that night?" Savannah asked outloud as the tears started to fall. "I smell roses." she said with a sniffle as she headed to her bed, adding, "Fresh roses." As she reached for the lamp on the night table, her hand grazed the flowers. "Oh Isaac." Savannah exclaimed as the light revealed the white roses, her favorites. Nestled in the flowers was the envelope bearing her name in Isaac's handwriting. 'Dearest Savannah: I never meant to hurt you. I am so sorry. Please don't hate me. I swear I didn't do it to hurt you. I'd do anything to take away the pain that I've caused you. I swear I'll never talk to Tay again if you don't hate me and forgive me. I love you and can't face life without you. I'll do anything you ask if you just forgive me. Always, Isaac' Savannah read and gasped as the memory of Isaac walking away from Tay played in her mind as she remembered Tay saying that Isaac didn't want to hear what he had to say. "No this isn't what I wanted. I was just angry, I didn't mean it." Savannah said panicking at the thought of her coming between the two. She raced to the closet grabbing her robe from the back of the door and made her way out the door of her room as she pulled it on to cover herself. <--LINE2-->
