Diana and the girls were in the kitchen preparing lunch and getting to know each other better. "Mom are they always that serious when they talk business?" Jessy asked staring at the intense look on Zac's face. "Yeah baby, especially your Zac. It's hard to remember he's the youngest when they are talking business. Dear your Zac is a very shrewd businessman. He has made some really wise moves through the years. He is well respected in the Music Business already and only 13. I'm so proud of him." Diana sighed wrapping her arms around Jessy gazing at Zac along with her, as Zac looked their way and they both smiled and waved. "Excuse me a minute." Zac said heading their way. "What's up with my two favorite women?" Zac asked as he approached. "Sorry, babe I didn't mean to bother you I know you have lots to do, it's just, umm, I sure love you." Jessy declared rushing to him, hugging him tight and trying to keep her head on straight. "We realized we both adore you and are so proud of you is all." Diana said caressing his face, kissing his cheek before heading back to help the other girls. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have bothered you but I, I.." Jessy stopped in mid sentence with a troubled look on her face. "Baby what is it?" Zac asked wrapping her in his arms, pullng her close. "Oh Zac." she sighed gazing up at him finally adding, "You know that record producer that was yelling after me, telling me he'd make me a big star and all?" Jessy asked. "Yeah babe I remember." Zac said calmly trying to figure out what she was feeling about it. "That's not what I want. I mean it's nice and all but Zac." Jessy shocked him with her confession, finishing with, "Zac I don't care about it like I did before, I mean I love to sing and play but I don't want to be apart. I keep thinking of you touring Austrailia, while I'm in Euroupe and vice versa and us being apart all the time. I couldn't handle it Zac." Jessy admitted giving into the tears. "Jessy look at me baby. Do you trust me?" Zac asked. "You know I do Zac, with my heart and soul." Jessy answered kissing him deeply. "I promise you we will not be apart. That's what we're doing baby. We're talking about starting our own company and promoting you girls along with ourselves. We only have one more album to go on our contract and then we had talked about going independent. With you girls, the possibilities are endless babe." Zac explained. "Really Zac. That's wonderful. Oh Zac I really do want to go for it but not if it means losing you." Jessy squealed kissing him over and over. "I like the gratitude." Zac teased pulling her tightly to him kissing her deeply. "I love you Zac." Jessy sighed as their lips parted, adding, "Now get that mighty fine ass back to work and make this idea of yours work so we're together." "Yes ma'am. Right away ma'am." Zac teased heading back to the office. "Yes ma'am, right away ma'am. Poor Zac." Chele teased. "Keep him subserviant." Faith suggested. "I will do nothing of the sort. I love and respect Zac, he's a very fine young man and I'm proud of him." Jessy insisted as she turned her attention to chopping some vegetables with a vengance. "Sis we didn't mean anything by it. We know what a fine man Zac is turning into. Sis we're proud of him too." Chele said smoothing the ruffled feathers. "I'm sorry. I'm really sensitive when it comes to Zac is all." Jessy apologized looking back at Zac then smiling, adding, "Enough with the boo hoo's, let's liven this place up." Jessy said noticing her fiddle and grabbing it from the case and the house was alive with the sounds of music. "Getting serious." Faith teased as Jessy began playing Bach and soon joined her as they played masterfully. "Bravo. Bravo. I didn't realize girls. you play beautifully. Jessy, Faith I'm embarassed, I honestly thought you only fiddled but you both play so well." Diana gasped. "Sorry Mom. Yeah we play. Umm Big Sis took the lessons as a child and when we started horsing around with music, well Faith and I live closer so we spent more time together and she taught me to fiddle by teaching me to play violin and then summers when I'd get to go to Chele's, I'd teach her." Jessy shared. "Whoa. Girls what's this all about you live apart?" Diana asked. "Oh Mom we aren't biological sisters, we're all only girls in our families and I've always dreamed of having a sister. Why not, I got four brothers. I deserved a sister and well when the guys came on the scene, it's something we all had in common and we met in a Hanson Chat room and connected." Jessy explained. "You aren't sisters. I never would have know, you two look so much alike and you look alot like Faith." Diana said pointing to Chele and Jessy, then pulling Jessy next to Faith. "It's all her fault Mom. You picked the right one, she did it." Faith teased. "You got that right, it's all her fault." Chele teased and the three laughed and hugged. "The singing and making it big was our way of getting to be together." Chele shared. "Well you certainly accomplished that my girls." Diana shared hugging each as they returned to finishing lunch. "Isaac. Isaac. Hun lunch is ready." Faith said as Isaac raised his hand as if he'd heard. Ten minutes later, "Tay. Tay. Baby lunch is ready." Chele said as Tay turned and smiled at her. Ten minutes later as Mackie, Avie, Jessie finished their meal, Jessy made up her plate, grabbed a napkin, "I know how to get their attention." Jessy stated walking to the office door and fanned her plate and soon all four turned her way and drooled. "Baby did you make me lunch?" Zac asked. "Uh huh and it's ready guys. You hungry?" Jessy asked as they filed past her one by one, kissing her cheek and picking at her plate on their way to the table. "How'd you know what I like?" Zac asked taking her plate. "Hun that was my plate but you can have it. I wasn't sure on the salad dressing but I see we like the same kind." Jessy said slipping an arm around him making their way to the others. During lunch the guys shared their thoughts on 'Middle Of Somewhere' recording studio and record label. When they discussed a time frame, "Wait a minute. I have to return to school. It's only three weeks but it would be stupid not to get credit for the year." Jessy shared as Zac grasped her hand and moaned at the thought of being apart. "Oh Zac. I'm sorry hun but what else can I do. It's stupid to even switch to home schooling for only three weeks to go to complete the seventh grade." Jessy explained. "I know Jessy. It's just I'd forgotten life before you and that you weren't part of it. I feel I've known you forever." Zac shared, adding, "We'll be okay Jessy. You're right you should go back for the last three weeks. Besides it will take at least that long to get things moving. We have to find a studio or build one which is Dad's idea. He thinks the back side of the lake would the right place so we don't have the security problem." Zac explained. "Zac man we need music. We've been so busy learning to play, we haven't gotten to that point, you know the creative part you guys do so well." Jessy shared. "Don't worry babe, very few people write their own and the grand entrance you guys made to the music world, they'll be lined up trying to get you to sing their music." Zac explained. "Really?" Jessy gasped. "Yeah babe." Zac answered. "Man I have so much to learn. I sure am glad you love me so." Jessy squealed kissing him teasingly. "Hmm keep this up and we're in trouble." Zac teased back."I sure love kissing you." Jessy sighed kissing him again. "We know, we know." Chele teased. "Poor Tay. Nobody kisses him no more." Jessy exclaimed giving Tay a sad puppy dog face. "I know Jessy. One day he's on top of the world, now he's alone and lonely." Zac added giving a sad look. "I know man. My heart breaks when I look at him." Isaac moaned. "He was so vital." Faith fained. "I know, I know. Poor me no kisses, nobody, I'm pitiful." Taylor said pretending to cry. "Excuse me did you guys say something." Chele teased straight faced and was immediately boo'd by all but Taylor. "I still love you baby." he said, reaching for her, wrapping his arms around her pulling her to him. "Baby you got to return to school too?" he asked. "Yeah Tay. I'll be done the second week in June. Tay?" Chele replied. "What baby?" Tay responded. "Tay because of MayFest, I wasn't going but my Jr/Sr Prom is next weekend and it doesn't look like I'll be going to it as a senior because we'll be working so I assume we'll home school like you guys so I was, nah. Never mind Tay." Chele stopped talking and started shaking her head no. "Baby don't you want to go. Man with home schooling we miss out on all that stuff. I really would like to go Chele, I mean take you if you wanted to go." Taylor answered all excited. "You would Tay? You dont have to do this just for me." Chele insisted. "I'm not babe, I'm doing it for me too. So what do we have to do to go?" Taylor asked and he and Chele headed off to call and get tickets before heading to the Mall for a dress and tux. "Faith you want to stay. I could fly home." Jessy suggested, getting up and heading to the phone, dialing, "Momma. Hey we done good. Momma can you fly me home. Faith has somethings to take care of, Momma we're going to be Stars." Jessy shared everything with her Mom. "I know Momma, I'm just so grateful it was Zac and he loves me. I could have been in so much trouble. I know this could have ended so bad, it could have ruined everything.." Jessy admitted then added. "I told his folks the truth already, I just knew he probably took the blame and protected me. They weren't thrilled with me but were glad I was honest with them and then lectured me good, just like you did. I'm sorry Momma but Zac forgives me Momma, can you?" "Don't cry babe." Zac said wrapping her in his arms. "Don't baby me Zac it's my doing. You should be angry with me too." Jessy insisted as she said goodbye to her mother, hanging up and then facing Zac. "I'm not angry with you babe. I love you Jessy." Zac reminded. "Oh Zac. I can't believe I behaved that way, I never, I mean it's not me. God Zac I really don't care for guys, I mean yeah I've noticed a few hotties but I just wasn't into the dating, wanting yet." Jessy tried to explain with such a confused look. "Babe you couldn't help it. You're meant to want me babe." Zac suggested. "Zac Hanson you are so full of it. I'm meant to want you huh?" Jessy replied as she began to laugh. "It's not funny Jessy. I'm telling you, you mark my words babe, you can't help but want me." Zac reiterated more seriously than before. "You're so right. I want you. Zac how are we going to make it to Ike and Faith's age or even Tay and Chele's age. Shoot how we going to make it to fourteen?" Jessy moaned kissing him deeply. "We can Jessy, we love each other." Zac whispered into their kiss. "Well we know that every month for about three, four days, you can keep your hands off of me and I have to be strong for both of us and the rest of the month will be your turn to be strong." Zac announced. "What? You get four days on duty and I get twenty six. Zac that's not fair." Jessy pouted. "You're right babe, I'll take one more day as you enter the weepy stage." Zac teased. "Oh you're so good to me. That's more fair, 5 to 25. Zac you spoil me so." Jessy said sarcastically. "Babe you know everything will be okay don't you. We'll just have to have a designated lover when we'rea alone, okay?" Zac asked. "Yeah, I know we'll be okay Zac. You're right, I love you too much to risk losing you even for a bad case of the hornies once a month." Jessy answered caressing his face, kissing him deeply. "Aww geez, you two were that way when we left." Chele complained. "I told you I love to kiss him." Jessy teased and they talked of the Prom, going home, and then returning to become stars. They talked until the wee hours of the morning, Walker and Diana, Isaac and Faith, Taylor and Chele and Zac and Jessy. They finally headed to bed, the girls taking the guest room.
