The next few days up until the beginning of the competition were a blur of dress rehersals, equipment checks and packing. The girls rented a cargo van and loaded everything up the day before and after double checking, Chele called Taylor to see if the guys wanted to do something and excepted and invitation to swim and a picnic with their family. "So who has a one-piece I can borrow?" Jessy asked. "Jessy that's not necessary if you're doing it for Isaac's benefit. Go for it, knock their socks off, pop those eyeballs. Maybe it'll give me a better chance at beating him at the competition." Faith shared. "Nasty, Faith, I like. So should I wear it when he's performing." Jessy teased. "I could use a hand beating Tay on keyboards." Chele joked and the girls loaded up and headed over. The day is just what the girls needed, they laughed, played, swam, and enjoyed their special Hanson attention. By late afternoon Jessy was drifting, asleep on a rubber raft with Zac not too far away, keeping an eye on her. Soon after dinner the girls headed home, Jessy had Compulsories at 10am the next morning. "All three of us go on after that, 1 am on the Country stage if you guys can make it." Faith told Isaac as they got ready to leave. "So do you think they'll be there for our debut?" Jessy asked. "Did you see the way Tay lit up when I told Isaac. They'll be there in force." Faith answered. "I'd say somebody has it bad for our Miss Chele is what I saw." Jessy teased. "Did you see the way she looked at him?" Faith asked. "I'm right here. Stop talking about me." Chele screamed, whooping and hollering out the window. "Man I'm psyched. We are going to make it so big." Chele shared as they made their way to bed, rising early the next morning for a short run and a hearty breakfast before they cleaned up to make their way to Downtown Tulsa. Jessy was checked in and dressed to dance as the girls huddled to psyche Jessy out. As Jessy stretched, Zac walked up bed and started massaging her neck and shoulders, "How did you know?" Jessy moaned. "Just had this feeling babe." Zac answered kissing the base of her neck. "Zac can I have a kiss before I go on?" Jessy asked. "I'll kiss you any chance I can." Zac admitted turning her in his arms, kissing her deeply, "Enjoy yourself babe. No matter what, have a good time. Chele, Faith, Mom wants to know if you want to sit with us?" Zac asked and the three left as Jessy's number was called to report to backstage, she would be performing next. "Ladies and Gentlmen, competitor 26, Jessy will be dancing to Hanson Throughout The Years, something we are all proud of here in Tulsa." the announcer introduced as Jessy took center stage. She danced brilliantly to their earlier accapella music, then to the earlier version of 'More Than Anything' Jessy was on her toes with such expression. The progression of their music through the years had the audience mesmerized as more and more arrived to see what was going on. She ended with her favorites from the LFA cd, finishing with 'Look At You' as everyone did just that, receiving two standing ovations after her perfect score was posted. "Please excuse me if I don't keep moving I'm going to be sorry. Please." Jessy begged backstage as she was surrounded. "Excuse me didn't you hear her. Come on babe, let's walk before you cramp up." Zac said making his way through the crowd, wrapping an arm around her and walking her. "Jessy I had no idea sweetheart. You're awesome. Wow." Zac whispered. "So I did okay?" Jessy teased. "Man when you started ballroom dancing without a partner, I almost headed to the stage but I haven't kept up since dance lessons, I was grateful Tay pulled me back down." Zac shared. "I think they may have questioned my motives, if you'd appeared on stage with me while I danced to 'Lucy' hun." Jessy replied as the other four appearred to congratulate her. "Mom and Dad would like you to join us for lunch." Isaac asked. "If we go soon, I'm suddenly hungry." Jessy answered as Chele produced her dance bag and Zac changed her shoes for her while she put on a skirt and sweater wrap. They joined the rest of the family for lunch, Jessy red faced throughout most of it. "Jessy way to go girl." Joe called out. "Awesome Jessy." Mike shared. "You can dance." Beth added. "Three years and you're fantastic." Chrissi praised. "I had good instructors. Thank you Sis, Big Sis. I couldn't have done it without you." Jessy toasted them with her water. "Thanks for lunch we really have to go. We have to change and get things ready. Are you coming to watch us perform Isaac?" Faith asked. "Woudn't miss it, we'll all be there." he answered. "See you hun." Jessy said kissing Zac goodbye as his friends filled up the empty seats. "We'll see you all at one on the Country stage then." Chele said kissing Taylor goodbye and the girls made their way to the Country stage to find out what they had to do after checking in. "One huh? 'Sisters of the Heart' you must be then." the stage director said. "That's us." Faith answered telling him the stage setup needed, adding, "We have to go change. Be back in twenty minutes." and the girls headed to the van changing into leather Chele in pants and a bodice, Faith in pants and fitted jacket and Jessy in thigh high boots, mini skirt and tube top. The returned to check back in with the stage director before peering out looking for the family. "There they are, our secrets out. Look at Isaac point at the stage." Faith said. "Don't start with a guilt trip now, you were the one insisting we keep it from them." Chele reminded as they were called to backstage. They checked their instruments once more to make sure they were in tune and as the act before them ended they turned over their fiddles to the stage hands who placed them on the piano center stage, moving the drums along side and then moved three microphones, two with guitar pick ups to front stage. "Ladies and Gentlemen for the first on any stage 'Sisters of the Heart' for your entertainment pleasure." they were introduced as they made it to front stage. "Hit it girls." Jessy said in a playful voice and they performed 'Feel Like A Woman', Chele and Faith on guitars, Jessy singing lead. Jessy fiddled and the other two joined her, then Chele played piano, Faith fiddled her way back to her guitar while Jessy did a short stint on drums before returning to center stage followed by Chele who picked up her guitar again. By the end of the song everyone was clapping along and Jessy squealed her joy a couple of times as more and more people crowded in filling the whole area with people wanting to see. The applause was like thunder as they ended and as they tried to leave the stage, they were sent back out by the stage director. "Thank you. Thank you. We've been ordered back out, thank you all so much. Here's something we've been feeling lately, right girls." Jessy said as they performed 'I Can Love You Like That' a slow song, showcasing the true quality of Jessy's voice as the audience oooh'd and aaaah'd and heaved a sigh. This time as they bowed over and over, the girls finally gave up and headed off stage, Faith pulled a copy of the schedule for them to announce as they tried to avoid another encore. They applauded all the way through the announcement of where they would appear and the girls finally agree to perform one more number, "We didn't practice this part enough." Jessy teased. "Shit I didn't think we'd need the one encore much less two. You tell them this is it." Faith shared and the girls decided on the number and as they headed back on stage the audience errupted, "Wow you guys are good. I've been to a couple of Hanson Concerts and you guys are good." Jessy teased as they finally quieted. "First you've blown us away with your appreciation, we are truly touched. We were told this is the first time this has happened, a group receiving more than one encore but I have to tell you this is all you're going to get. If you heard the announcement over yourselves, of the rest of our appearances throughout the week and we'd love if you'd come support us again. If you didn't hear, stop by the information booth and ask them to pull up 'Sister of the Heart' for you and they'll get the times and places. Before I stepped on the stage earlier this morning someone gave me a wise piece of advice, he said 'Just remember to have fun babe'. Isn't he wise, in that line if you'll put up with non-Okies doing 'Oklahoma Borderline' we'd love to sing it for you." Jessy said as they counted off and really wailed on the song, thrilling the audience as all three fiddled again. This time as they finished they grabbed their fiddles and guitars and left them wanting more as the girls headed to the van. They loaded up, changed from their leathers and when Chele and Faith wanted to see what was going on, "I figured as much, so I came prepared." Jessy said pulling out a sleeping bag and pillow, adding, I'll take a nap here instead of at home." Chele and Faith headed out to see the sights, "Why didn't you tell me?" Isaac asked. "Baby you rocked." Taylor said. "Where's Jessy?" Zac asked. "She's tired and is taking a nap, white cargo van behind the Country stage, a little before it." Faith said handing him the keys. "I didn't tell you because of who you are. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to perform in front of you is all." Faith explained. "Faith I wouldn't judge." Isaac explained. "I know that now, but when I made the girls promise not to tell you I didn't. Please hun, I'm sorry if you're hurt but when I first decided things were different." Faith replied. "Even though I wouldn't judge, you girls were great. You're very talented." Isaac declared. "Non judgmental as you are, thanks babe." Faith said leaning into him, kissing him passionately. "Hun I'm hungry." Chele whispered and the two headed out to find something to eat as Isaac and Faith found a spot in the shade to talk. Zac had made his way behind the stages walking down the row of vehicles checking out the white vans, stopping at the cargo van, sliding the key in and unlocking the slider before slipping inside and closing the door behind him. He sat watching her as she slept, pulling a strand of hair from her face causing her to stir. "Zac?" she mumbled. 'Sorry babe. Didn't mean to wake you up." Zac whispered. "Lay with me?" Jessy asked pulling him towards her. "Me lay with you huh? I think I can do that." Zac whispered. "Is today someday?" Jessy asked. "What?" Zac asked. "You said you'd make love to me someday. Is it someday?" Jessy asked again. "Oh Jessy. You know we shouldn't." Zac answered. "Why not? I love you Zac and not just now so you'll make love to me. I love you even when you don't make love to me." Jessy explained. "Jessy you need to go back to sleep right now. You're tired babe otherwise you'd know my making love to you isn't right yet." Zac suggested. "But Zac don't you love me?" Jessy asked wrapping her legs around him. "Jessy how can you ask that?" Zac asked hurt in his voice. "Because you'd make love to me if you really loved me." Jessy whimpered. "Baby don't cry. Jessy you know I love you. I love you more than anything baby. Why can't I love you without making love to you." Zac pleaded kissing her over and over arousing their passion as he kissed her deeply his hands caressing her body, undressing her. "Zac I love you." she moaned. "I know you do babe, I see it in your eyes. I feel it in your kiss, I feel it in your touch." Zac explained. "Jessy?" he asked. "Yeah Zac." she replied. "Why don't you know I love you?" Zac asked, adding, "I do love you so much." "I know you do. Zac I'm sorry I shouldn't have said you don't love me. I know you do every single time you tell me no, we shouldn't do this. I'm so lucky you love me that much." Jessy confessed. "I do Jessy. As much as I want to be part of you by making love to you, I love you too much to risk losing you over it. I'm so afraid I'll hurt you and you'll hate me for it. I can't risk that Jessy." Zac explained. "I know you do hun, but I couldn't hate you Zac. Never. Even if you broke my heart." Jessy shared. "I'll never break your heart that's my most prized gift. I still can't believe you gave it to me." Zac said dressing her. "Nope it's not someday." Jessy said yawning and cuddling closer, adding "I'm still tired." "I see babe. Just close your eyes,I'll be here when you wake." Zac promised.. "I know you will be, you love me." Jessy mumbled as she fell back to sleep. After another hour, Jessy woke rested and the two headed out to check out the Festival catching up with Chele and Taylor before heading to find something to eat, meeting up with his family, eating with them. When Walker announced they were heading home, "Mr Hanson I know Chele and Faith aren't ready to go yet, could I catch a ride with you guys. I really need to practice for tomorrows competition." Jessy asked. "Of course sweetie, What's up for you tomorrow?" Walker asked. "Ballet at 11, vocals at 2 and drums at 6." Jessy answered. "Drums, you, me, Jessy?" Zac asked. "Yeah babe, I talked you into competing so I could go head to head with you." Jessy answered pressing her forehead to his. "You're probably good huh babe?" Zac asked. "As good as you are at telling me no." Jessy teased as Isaac and Faith showed up and joined them for an early dinner. After Jessy headed home with the Hansons, stopping and getting her ballet slippers and dance leotard because Zac's parents didn't want her staying alone, "Zac write a note to my sisters letting them know I'm at your place." Jessy asked as she packed her bag, even a pair of pj's and her costume for the morning. In her room she wrote a note, 'Sis, Big Sis; I packed a change of clothes, pajamas and my costume for tomorrow morning in case they offer to let me spend the night and take me into town in the morning seeings you guys don't have to go until the middle of the afternoon. Maybe you could call real late and tell them you just got in and have to pack the van suggesting the guys could help. Love Jessy p.s. Don't do anything Zac won't let me do. I'm so lucky he loves me, I've got such a bad case of the hornies. Lil Sis' and left it on her bed. Jessy practiced her ballet routine and vocals while Zac made up the guest room for Jessy before asking her to stay with them, "Cool, me and you under the same roof." Jessy teased as Zac showed her the room, "So do I get you to hold my hand if I get scared." Jessy pouted. "I always be there for you Jessy. No matter what." Zac answered. "Zac." Jessy gasped her eyes filling with tears. "You sure got it bad. What's the matter babe?" Zac asked wrapping her in his arms. "You know how I been coming on to you for what two, three days now, it's PMS and now I'm all weepy." Jessy pouted. "So you mean you don't want me anymore?" Zac pouted causing her to laugh. "Oh Zac, I'll always want you. Even without the horomone rush, I still got the hots for you." Jessy shared kissing him passionately, backing him to the bed, pushing him backwards onto it and climbing on top of him. "Zac I'm sorry I've been so much trouble and I'm so proud of you. If it had been anyone else but you, I'd be in so much trouble by now. Just thank you." Jessy confessed. "Anytime babe, I'm glad it's me too. You trouble me anytime babe." Zac replied kissing her sweetly. "Wonder if your brothers are spending the night with my sisters?" Jessy whispered. "If they're lucky. So you going play for me or do I have to be embarassed tomorrow when you beat me?" Zac asked. "I'm not that good yet. I've only played for two years." Jessy teased as they headed to the studio. "It says Sis is spending the night at your house, your Dad didn't like the idea of her home alone after our performance this afternoon. Too many kooks in town for the Festival." Faith shared. "I get the bathroom first." Chele squealed as she raced by returning with the letter from Jessy, "Look TayBear." "Way to go Lil Sis." Taylor said wrapping his arms around her waist as she handed the letter to Faith. "Help me pack the van for tomorrow?" Chele asked and soon all four were working together and had the job done. Tay called up friends to find up what was going on and the four headed to a party in their old neighborhood. "This is a mob. Isaac are you sure?" Faith asked as he pulled up to the house. "Tay and Ash have always been friends Faith, it will be okay." Isaac assured her as they headed in. "Ash I'd like you to meet Faith. Faith this is Tay's bestfriend and this is Chele who seems to have lost your bestfriend." Isaac introduced. "He's being mobbed outside and I wanted no part of it." Chele shared. "Better give him a hand." Ash said excusing himself. "You better just do that." Chele said annnoyed and heading into the house to see and be seen. "Sis, hold up." Faith called after her shrugging her shoulders to Isaac's question of what's wrong. "Hey you're the chicks in leather today, the ones that rocked the Festival, Sisters of something." someone called out. "Sisters of the Heart' you're right. That's us." Chele answered. "Where's the other sister, the hot one?" some guy asked. "That would be the youngest one and she's spending the night with the folks because of kooks like you." Isaac answered. "Hey man, Ike. I ain't no kook. She was hot." he replied. "That's their baby sister. Jessy is 13, younger than Zac. Now tell me you aren't a kook." Isaac asked. "Shit man. No more kook. Jailbait." he exclaimed as the girls were surrounded by well wishers and a few asking for autographs. The two were the center of attention, enjoying the new found fame, "Chele you need something to drink?" Ash asked. Chele looked to see who offered, "Ash! I''d love some water with a twist of lemon or lime." Chele asked, adding, "Sis would love one too. Want me give you a hand?" Chele asked and made her way to him as Taylor finally appeared. "So you're a water drinker too?" Ash asked. "Man this place is crowded." Chele sighed finally making her way to his side, adding, "We got hooked on water because of the singing. Doesn't clog the pipes." as the two made it to the kitchen, fixing the drinks, chatting and getting to know each other when Taylor appearred. "Hey you want something to drink?" Chele asked handing him the rest of the bottled water and heading out with hers and Faith's drink. "Chele stop!" Taylor called after her. She stopped and handed Faith's water to Isaac, "Ike can you take this to Sis?" Chele asked waiting for Taylor. "What did I do? Babe you're so cold suddenly." Taylor asked. "Duh!" Chele said sarcastically. "Chele what did I do?" Taylor pleaded to know. "I heard her Taylor, 'If she doesn't give you what you need. I'm here for you always.' and I saw her grab you. God Taylor." Chele shared visibly hurt. "Babe she's just talk. She hasn't given me anything and I would take it if she offered. Baby you got to believe me. She's nothing, ask anybody here she's all talk. I don't know why she grabbed me but I almost broke her wrist for trying. Ash came and bounced her." Taylor explained. "Chele look at me please?" he pleaded. "Tay I don't know what to think?" Chele shared trying hard not to cry. "Baby what?" Taylor asked slowly wrapping his arms around her. "Tay I don't know if I can do this. When I heard her my heart broke at the thought of you with someone else. I'm in too deep already." Chele said slipping from his arms and heading towards Faith. "Sis you okay? What did he do? I'll .." Faith fumed. "It's nothing." Chele mumbled glancing back at Taylor who looked as miserable as she felt. Chele busied herself chatting with others glancing at Taylor every now and then, noticing him talking with Ash. Chele gasped at the pain on Taylor's, "Chele what is it Sis?" Isaac asked looking where she was staring, seeing the pain on his brother's face. "Come on Sis." Isaac said wrapping an arm around her, heading towards his brother. Taylor noticed his brother approaching but didn't notice Chele because she was shorter that the rest of the people between them. "She loves you too Tay." Isaac shared as they approached. "Not enough though. It's my fault she should have felt how I feel about her, she wouldn't have doubted us." Taylor explained. "Tay I never meant to hurt you. I'm sorry, I'm just so scared. I figured it would hurt less if I got out now." Chele confessed, adding, "I'm sorry." as the tears broke free. "You shouldn't be scared baby, you should now how much I love you and only you. I failed you baby, you should have felt my love." Taylor confessed wiping away her tears."But I do know you love me." Chele whimpered. "But not the extent of my love. Chele you're the love of my life, my one and only, my meant to be. When I look at you, touch you, love you, I feel so complete." Taylor confessed, wrapping her in his arms. "Taylor I'm sorry for doubting you." Chele apologized as Taylor kissed her deeply as their souls met and became one. "You're such a good big brother." Faith whispered as she wrapped her arms around him, "Thanks for taking care of Sis." she whispered into his ear before nibbling on it, then nibbling on his neck as he moaned before pulling her around to him. "I'm not always good." Isaac said kissing her deeply before she continued kissing, licking and finally sucking his neck. "Come here." Isaac said moving them to a secluded spot, and they were all over each other. "Isaac. I've never felt this way about anyone. You are such a good man, so fair and loving." Faith admitted, adding, "Isaac if I asked you to spend the night would you understand, I mean I've never considered, Oh what am I doing." Faith sighed. "You're letting met know that you like me as much as I like you. Faith I'd love to spend the night with you but I'm not going to push you. Faith I can tell you're unsure about me. I'm here for the long hall babe. I'm not going anywhere so you take all the time you need." Isaac suggested. The four decided it was time to head home, Isaac insisted on being dropped off at home and Tay agreed it wouldn't be a bad idea and soon Chele and Faither were on their way home.
