Shortly after arriving at the Hanson's house, Zac anxiously took Jessy for a walk in the woods. "Zac what's up? Come on tell me hun. Something is up, I know it. I can see it in your eyes. You've got a secret. I want to know Zac." Jessy said stopping in her tracks. "Come on Jessy just a little further and you'll know." Zac said. "I don't think so. Tell me Zac." Jessy said crossing her arms and glaring at him instantly breaking into laughter. "Oh you're so tuff." Zac laughed. "I can kick your butt and don't you forget it." Jessy said laughing harder. "Oh that's only if you want to and you don't want to. You want me and you know it." Zac said taking her in his arms kissing her deeply pinning her up against the nearest tree kissing her deeper as his hands caressed her face then slowly traveled downwards stopping at her breast. Jessy moaned as he squeezed ever softly then continued it travels to her waist then around to her butt as he squeezed again pulling her into him as he placed a leg between her feet and rubbed up against her slowly. "Admit it you want me as much as I want you. You're all I think of Jessy. I wake up and think of you, when I go to sleep I'm thinking of you." Zac confessed as he kissed her again deeply. "I love you to Zac." Jessy said kissing him back. Zac took her by the hand once more and walked to the next clearing where there was a blanket, picnic basket waiting for them. They spent the next hours getting to know each other, dreaming about the future, and finally Jessy told Zac what had brought her to Tulsa. "Swear Zac. If they find out, they'll send me back and I'm not going to live with that man. I'll just run again and keep running until I'm 18 if that's what it takes." Jessy begged. "Jessy I'd never tell. I don't want them to take you away from me. I couldn't live without you Jessy. What's going to happen when Taylor and Isaac tell Chele and Becky that you're here." Zac asked. "They won't tell anyone. I didn't run to Chele because I knew he'd check there and I didn't want them to have to lie for me, so I just didn't let them know." Jessy said, adding, "Zac this is a lot to ask, but you can't tell your folks either." "Jessy they wouldn't say anything. You know they wouldn't." Zac said. "Hun get real, the Martins are their friends. They'd feel obligated to let them know what potential trouble they're in because of me. Adults are adults and I've got 2 years and 4 months to go to join their ranks." Jessy said. "I disagree babe, but I won't say anything." Zac promised. From that point Jessy and Zac were together almost everyday, but always in a group. Their spot in the woods was about the only spot they were ever truly alone. They went to the movies, mall, library, arcade, laser quest as a group to conceal their relationship from the press. One afternoon at the arcade with the group Zac was overheard by a reporter with Tulsa World telling Andy how much he loved Jessy and that someday they would be married that he had given her a ring and asked her to promise and she did. "Man Zac who would have thought that you'd find the girl of your dreams before your brothers." Andy said. "They're not far behind, Taylor wallks around all goofy these days. Man he's got it bad. Writing some bitching songs though. She's a number one at least." Zac said laughing. "So You and Jessy gonna, you know?" Andy said. "Yeah of course." Zac bragged. "Man wish it was me. Chicks are so hard to figure sometimes." Andy said. "Once you get pass the games, it gets easier. Hang in there, someday you'll find here." Zac said slapping him on the back. "Yeah but will she be a knock out like Jessy?" Andy asked. "I don't love Jessy because she's a knock out. She's more, she's everything I ever dreamed of man." Zac said staring at Jessy shooting hoops with the other guys. That evening the first of many articles appeared claiming Hanson dating and the youngest serious. Everywhere she went she was hounded the burning questions, "Are you dating Zac Hanson, Is that Zac Hanson's ring you're wearing, When are you marry Zac Hanson?" Jessy hardly went out hoping things would die down. She and Zac saw each other in church, or when Lindsay would go to play with Jessie and Avie, one of the few places the press couldn't get in. Jessy was constantly in touch with her Sis, and bitched to her daily what a pain the press was. "Sis you have to avoid them. If they can't get your new picture, if they can't upset you with their questions, you won't be news." Chele e-mailed her. "I'm trying but they put such big lenses on they're probably five miles away and catch me scratching my ass. LOL. That wasn't me and it wasn't my ass I was scratching. hehehe." Jessy replied. "LMAO You at least still have your sense of humor." Chele replied. "I'm just worried about Zac. Something is wrong and he won't tell me. Tay gets on him all the time lately and the minute I'm in the room they shut up and go different directions. I tried asking Tay, and he said Zac has to tell me, he can't. Has he said anything to you. You should hear what he says about you. Man someone is pussy whooped." Jessy sent her. "Umm Pussy whooped I don't think so. They haven't met yet. hehehe." the reply came. "Ewwww you're nasty. But I love you and so does Tay. Gotta go someone at the door and the Martins including Lindsay are out. OMG. I know. See ya, ttyl, Sis." Jessy typed hitting sending and racing to the door. "Zac, what's wrong?" Jessy asked looking at the anger in his eyes. "When is he going to stop blaming me for the mess?" Zac said walking towards the kitchen. "Zac, hun who blames you?" Jessy asked racing after him. She found him at the kitchen table drinking a Dr Pepper, staring out at the pool. "Who blames you for what mess?" Jessy asked slilpping onto his lap. "It's nothing babe." Zac said. "Oh yeah that's nothing. Hun how did you get here?" Jessy asked. "What's with the questions? You want me to go I will." Zac said with such anger. "Zac don't do this. No I don't want you to go but you're scaring me. Zac I've never seen you angry, much less this angry. Is it the press? I thought it was finally dying down." Jessy asked hugging him. "It is but Jessy you gotta know something." Zac said holding her tighter and tighter. "Zac you're squishing me." Jessy coughed out, adding, "Hun what's wrong?" Jessy asked. "Just don't hate me, please Jessy don't hate me but." Zac paused. "Zac how can I hate you, I can't think of anything that you could do to make me hate you. Hate that's what killed Momma, I just know it did and that monster doesn't even know it." Jessy said getting up and walking to the fridge. "You know all the trouble with the press, them hounding you and all. It's my fault. I was shooting off my mouth to Andy at the arcade one day we were there and this report was hiding behind some games and listened in. Dad found out. Jessy I didn't mean for them to find out. It just happened." Zac said. "God Zac why would you blame yourself, we learned a hard lesson, we can't even talk to or friends in public can we. Reporters suck, how do they live with themselves, look themselves in the mirror and not be ashamed. Granted you got to make a living but I sure couldn't destroy people for a living like they do." Jessy said wrapping her arms around him, "I don't hate you and don't blame you. Whoever does is pretty small and has a bigger problem." Jessy said. "It's Tay. He keeps harping on it." Zac said nuzzling her neck, kissing it softly, then lightly sucking. "Zac if you're hungry I can fix you something." Jessy said. "I want you and only you." Zac said kissing his way to the other side of her neck, kissing then sucking as he lifted her in his arms and walked to her room and gently laid her on her bed. "Just let me hold you baby. Please I need you. Promise I just want you next to me is all." Zac asked. Jessy remember all the other times they had gotten close and Zac stopped as he promised. "Zac I love you and trust you." Jessy said gazing into his eyes. "How long before they get back?" Zac asked. "They won't be back until tomorrow." Jessy answered. "Oh that's right they went to that dance competition like Mom and Dad." Zac said. You glad Chele's coming?" Zac asked. "Yeah I was just talking with her when you came, all grumpy like." Jessy said. "I wasn't grumpy, I was pissed." Zac said. "Oh excuse me, Mr. Pissed." Jessy said sarcastically. "You're asking for it." Zac said pinning her down. "Oh big bad Zac. I'm scared." Jessy whispered. "Like who's gonna save you." Zac said as Jessy pushed him over and pinned him to the bed. "Don't know Zac." Jessy snickered. "Oh big bad Jessy. I'm scared." Zac said. "You better be boy. Zac? You never told me how you got here hun. Did you even tell them you were angry and leaving for a while?" Jessy asked and he looked away. "Zac you didn't?" Jessy asked. "Yeah I pulled a Jessy. I booked and didn't tell a soul." Zac said. "I guess I deserved that." Jessy said climbing off of him and heading for her water bottle on the kitchen counter, picking up Zac's Dr Pepper from the table and turning to return she saw him on the phone talking to Isaac. Jessy walked back and stopped in front of him, kissing the top of his head before sitting down beside him. "Yeah see you then." Zac said as he hung up. "Thanks babe. Ike was coming unglued about me disappearing and about to call Mom and Dad. He'll be here in a couple of hours, they're gonna come swimming. Okay?" Zac asked taking his pop and swigging it down and placing it on the night stand then taking Jessy water and placing it next to it. Zac turned to her gazing into her blue eyes, "You're so beautiful." he said tracing her features with his finger, kissing each one. Zac lifted her to his lap, kissing her deeply as Jessy wrapped her arms around his neck kissing him back passionately. "You know your brothers are always welcome here. Even Taylor, maybe I can reason with him. He can't blame you Zac, it could have happened to any of us. Even him, Mr. Perfect." Jessy said. "Let's go swimming. I don't want to think about Tay, I'll just get mad all over and you've done such a good job of making me forget." Zac said. "Okay you'll find a suit in the pool house hun. I'll be right out." Jessy said opening her bottom draw sorting through her suits. "I like this one." Zac said picking up the string. "You would." Jessy said shaing her head no. "Please? You can change when my brothers come." Zac pouted. "Oh you and that puppy dog face." Jessy said, adding, "Here take this to the pool house with you so I can change before you brothers come." "Yeah babe." Zac said taking the suit and heading out. "Damn that's one of the nicest things you've ever done for me." Zac said when she came into the view. "Oh Zac you're such a sweet talker." Jessy said pusing him backwards into the pool and cannonballing him the minute he surfaced. They dunked each other, played tag, "No more Zac, I'm tired and you're going to end up drowning me for real." Jessy pleaded as he picked her up and sat her on the edge of the pool pulling her to his lips and kissing her deeply. She felt Zac tug at the tie at her neck and fumble with the other tie, "Zac what do you think you're doing?" Jessy asked. "I just want to look at you, come on Jessy please? You know I love and wouldn't do anything you don't want me to. I promise." Zac begged as his fingers were successful. "What about the neighbors? By now one could be a reporter." Jessy said placing her arm to her breasts. "Come here baby, please." Zac begged lifting her back into the pool. Jessy saw nothing but love in Zac's eyes and slowly lifted her arm reaching back and placing her top on the side of the pool. When she turned back, Zac was searching her reaction, "You okay babe?" Zac asked kissing her tenderly. "Yeah Zac it's you I don't know why I made a big deal about it. I love you Zac and someday.." Jessy was saying as Zac kissed her deeply and Jessy kissed him back even deeper and longer as Zac pulled the strings on her bottoms. "Zac Hanson" Jessy protested reaching for her bottoms as Zac tossed them. Jessy turned and headed to the edge as Zac's trunks landed on top of her suit taking Jessy by surprise. "Uh Uh" Jessy said she felt Zac walk up behind her. "Jessy, now we're even." Zac said. "But.." Jessy tried to say as Zac kissed her deeply as his hands slowly caressed her breasts, teasing her nipples, tracing them with his thumbs as they hardened. Zac lifted her, pressing her against the side of the pool lowering his lips kissing her breasts, one then the other. As Zac slipped his lips around her nipple and lightly sucked, Jessy's head dropped back as she moaned soft and low. Jessy wrapped her legs around Zac's waist as he sucked harder, "Zac stop. You're driving me crazy. Zac." Jessy panicked and squirmed to get free. "Ouch. Zac stop." Jessy said pulling away and stopped as Zac didn't release her. Zac pinned her to the side of the pool as she felt Zac's hands push down on her hips as he thrust himself at her. "Zac stop what are you doing?" Jessy pleaded. "Zac no." Jessy screamed as she felt him enter her. "Zac stop it hurts." Jessy cried as he moved faster and faster. "Jessy I love you." Zac said trying to kiss her but she turned away. Zac moaned deeply as he moved inside one last time. "Jessy I love you don't cry. Baby don't cry. Jessy I'm sorry I couldn't stop." Zac begged for forgiveness. "You promised me. You hurt me Zac, just let me go." Jessy yelled. "Baby you'll be okay. I love you it'll be okay. Promise Jessy." Zac said as Jessy looked away as the door bell rang. "There's your brothers, you gonna let me go now or do you want them to find us this way." Jessy said glaring at him. "Jessy please don't be mad, I love you baby." Zac said. "Just get your suit on and answer the door." Jessy said grabbing his suit and handing it to him. "Jessy just remember I love you. Don't look so sad, please baby?" Zac begged putting his suit on. "Just answer the door before the break it down." Jessy said as Zac grabbed a towel and headed to the side gate, and heading down the drive. Jess hopped from the pool grabbing her bikini and heading to the pool house to change into her other suit. In the bathroom she found she was bleeding and cried at the loss of her virginity. She showered, found a tampon and dressed, "Jessy babe you okay?" Zac asked knocking then opening the door. "Get away from me." Jessy screamed. "No, I love you. You have to believe me, I'm sorry I just couldn't stop Jessy. Baby you know I love you." Zac cried wrapping his arms around her. "Don't touch me. Loving me doesn't make it right. You promised me and believed you. You lied to me Zac. What's else did you lie about?" Jessy asked. "Jessy, baby you don't look so good. Jessy you, Jessy." Zac yelled grabbing her before she hit the floor. "Jessy baby, wake up. Wake up Jessy. Ike help me?" Zac cried out. "Man what happened?" Ike asked. "We were talking and she got real pale and passed out." Zac explained. "What's wrong?" Taylor asked noticing the blood in the toilet and flushing, "She's bleeding. That time must be. I've heard of girls fainting. You know they used to call them vapors in the old days. Maybe Jessy's like that. Wow kicks butt and faints from blood loss. Good thing she's a good fighter." Tay said. "Just shut up and find that stuff, smelling salts. There's a first aid kit on the outside wall. See if there's one in there." Zac said as Ike put a cold rag on her forehead. "Here it is. Crack it open and put it close to her nose so she breathes it." Taylor explained handing the vial to Zac. "Ahhh stop stop" Jessy said coming too and pushing at Zac's hands. "Jessy you fainted." Zac said. "No duh! If I didn't you're in a hell of a lot of trouble sticking that thing in my face." Jessy said coughing. "I'm cold Zac. Go get me some sweats please." Jessy asked. "Yeah babe be right back." Zac said racing to her room. "Man that stinks." Jessy said turning away from the trash and the vial in it. "Help me up Tay?" Jessy asked extending her hand and he pulled her to her feet and out to the table. Zac returned with her sweats and helped her into them, "I'll be fine now you guys swim." Jessy said, adding, "You too Zac. Go." "No I'm not leaving you." Zac said pulling a chair closer and sat watching. "Stop staring. What is it written on my face I'm not a virgin." Jessy said glaring at him. "Baby please forgive me." Zac cried laying his head in her lap. "Zac I need something to drink and better take some iron pills, or I will be sick." Jessy said coldly, adding, "Just go swim." "Jessy I love you don't turn away from me. Tell me what you're feeling." Zac said. "You don't want to know how I feel stop trying to be nice." Jessy argued. "Yes I do, I wouldn't ask if I didn't care. I love you Jessy." Zac said. "You asked for it just tell yourself that. Remember I didn't want to tell you. I feel hurt physically and emotionally. I feel betrayed Zac. I never thought you'd turn on me. You were angry with Taylor and you took it out on me. You promised me and you broke your word. How do I feel. I feel like what else did he lie about, loving me, not telling my father where I am, not telling the Martins I'm a runaway. You glad to know how I feel." Jessy said turning and heading to the kitchen. She returned with drinks for everyone chips and salsa and veggies and dip, to Zac sitting his head hanging. "Go wash you face. Your brothers ask what's wrong I just may tell them so you better make them believe nothings wrong. "You guys hungry at all?" Jessy asked and Zac headed to the house as they climed out of the pool. The four sat munching and talking until almost midnight when Isaac was convinced Jessy would be fine and pulled Zac along. "Man Zac she said she'd be fine. Let's go so she can get some sleep." Isaac said and Jessy waved as the pulled into the street. She cleaned up at the pool, shutting things down for the night and headed to the kitchen cleaning up. She headed into the shower to wash away the memory, the pain, the sick feeling. As she stood at the mirror drying her hair she decided, she couldn't face him, "How could you." Jessy screamed so angry she wanted to break something, strike out, do something. She headed to her dresser grabbing clean underclothes returning to the bathroom to dress grabbing the box of tampons and heading to her closet grabbing a suit case and packing. She checked the laundry for any of her clothes packing everything. As she finished Jessy sat and dialed the bus station then the train station, finding a train leaving in an hour. Jessy called for a cab and sat writing letters to the Martins, Lindsay. She wrote a letter to Zac and placed it inside her letter to Lindsay asking her to deliver it to Zac for her first chance she got. She raced up to Lindsay's room and placed the letter on her pillow. Jessy made a quick trip around the house locking up and turning off lights, placing her bags on the front porch. Jessy headed back to pack her vitamins from the kitchen as the cab pulled up. She made it to the train station with time to purchase her ticket and board the west bound train.
