"Oh it's you two. I thought you were the pizza delivery guy. What's up? Something wrong, your Mom didn't call." Jessy asked puzzled by their return. "Um" Zac said. "Zac ask her." Taylor said. "Um" Zac said again. "Zac, ask her." Taylor said elbowing him. "Here you go Jessy, nice and hot. I rushed it right over." the pizza delivery guy said. "Hey Mark thanks, here keep the change." Jessy said exchanging money for pizzas. "So did you ever decide if you'd go out with me?" Mark asked. "It appears you don't listen to me. Hey guys why don't you take the pizzas in and wait for me." Jessy said. "Sure Jessy, I'll take those. Come on Zac." Taylor said heading in to the dining room. "Zac please. I'll be fine hun. Just wait for me inside please?" Jessy asked again taking his hands in hers. "I'll be right inside. Just a holler away." Zac said kissing her cheek before going in. As the door shut Jessy explained once again she wasn't interested in going out with Mark, "I'm going with Zac and I'm not dating anyone but Zac." Jessy explained and Mark apologized and left. "Let me run this up to the girls. Make yourself at home, I'll be right back. Kitchen's that way if you want something to drink." Jessy said pointing before making her way up the stairs two at a time. She was back in minutes and found the guys in the kitchen drinking, "You going to stay and eat with me? I'll turn this into a non vegetarian for you guys." Jessy asked and when they accepted she slipped the pizza onto a pie pan, added pepperoni, ham, and cheeses before popping it in the oven. Jessy made three large salads and placed them on the table and had the guys pick their own salad dressing out of the fridge. Jessy made her way to the cupboard next to the sink, opening it and gathering a bunch of pills, returning to the table where she had placed a bottle of water for herself. She filled her glass took a sip then popped all the pills and swallowed. "Being a vegetarian is not the healthiest way to live, I'm always popping vitamins to make up for what's missing." Jessy explained and they got into a big discussion and Zac made it apparent he didn't care for it. "Saved by the bell." Jessy said kissing Zac's cheek as she headed to the oven, turning it off, sliding the pizza back into the box. Jessy grabbed some spices, spatula, and a pizza cutter before returning to the table. The three sat, ate, talked and enjoyed each other's company. The guys were helping her clean up, "Zac, you were going to ask me something and I don't think you have." Jessy said. "Man I can't believe I was so tongue tied before, you're so easy to talk to. Jessy will you go out with me? Please you just have to say yes." Zac asked taking her hands in his. "Well if I have to say yes. Whoa Zac, I was kidding. Hun please don't get mad?" Jessy pleaded caressing his face lost in his warm brown eyes. They gazed at each other and soon their sad faces gave way to smiles of joy. Jessy's heart pounded as Zac leaned down towards her and she raised up on tiptoes, gasping lightly as his lips pressed gently against hers for their first kiss. As they drew back, "Zac I'd love to go out with you." Jessy said lost in his eyes once again. "When Jessy?" Zac asked excitedly. "Umm Sundays are pretty much mine after church that is. We haven't gone yet since I've moved in. I must be a bad influence. Nah, the Martin's have been showing me the town, we've been sight seeing." Jessy explained. "Good then you go to our church." Zac exclaimed. "Well maybe that will help with Mr. M, you might say he's a wee bit, ah he's majorly overprotective. Man we went to this water park on the other side of town and this dude was, let's just say he was extremely appreciatve of my new suit. Mr. M as serious as he can be gets right in this dudes face and says 'That's my little girl you're oggling there young man. Take that thing and point it somewhere else." Jessy giggled and continued, "Then in all seriousness he turns to me and says 'Jessy baby you got to be careful of guys like that, you never know when it's loaded. And the he puts his arm around my shoulder and says 'Baby just promise me you'll stay clear when they're packing." Jessy managed to choke out between giggles and finally broke into laughter with the guys. "Man I guess that means you better keep yours concealed Zac." Taylor laughed. "I sure better not let Mr. M catch me pointing at you." Zac laughed. "Oh I'll save you, just like this." Jessy said slipping her arms around his waist and stepping in close. "I like, promise me?" Zac said. "Yeah Zac I promise to save you from him." Jessy said lost in his eyes again. "Man you're gonna get me in trouble. You guys gotta go before the girls come down. Here hun, this is my number in my room, it's got a machine on it in case I'm not in there. Which I hardly ever am, except to sleep." Jessy said. "After church on Sunday. Um you can come home with us. Okay?" Zac asked and Jessy smile big. "I can't wait Zac." she said as Zac pulled her to him and kissed her once again and Jessy raised her arms slipping them around his neck and kissing him back. "Bye hun. Bye Tay. You guys can go out this way." Jessy said walking them out, waving as they pulled out of the driveway, "Yes Yes Yes" she screamed. She headed back in baking brownies for the girls' bedtime snack before heading upstairs. They turned on music and Jessy taught them the latest steps and she and Jessie had a blast dancing together. Jessy taught them a couple of cheers before heading to the kitchen for brownies and whipped cream. The sat around the table eating and playing truth or dare, everyone picking Jessy to ask so they pretty much discussed boys, dating, necking, petting, but mostly Jessy preached not having sex and waiting for it to be right and the consequences of not waiting. Jessy ran to her room and in her box of secrets, her hidden past, she pulled a album and from the pages she pulled the pledge she had made. "See when I was you age Avie, I had seen enough. My mom's girlfriend's daughter got pregnant at 13, you age Lindsay, Jessie, and turned around and got pregnant again less than two years later. Man did that ever change my life and I wrote this promise to myself, to graduate high school a virgin, to wait until I love at least if not marry." Jessy shared and the girls decided the wanted to write their own promises. Jessy gathered paper and pens and the girls got busy as Jessy penned a promise to the girls, "No matter how many miles may separate us, we'll always be sisters of the heart. I promise to you, that no matter what, I'll be there for you, no questions asked. I pray you call before final decisions are made and actions are taken, but I promise to be there for you either way. Love always, Big Sister Jessy." As they finished up Jessy saw them up to bed, telling the the story of the Little Miss and the Major Hottie and their first kiss. "Goodnight now. See you in the morning." Jessy said leaving the room and heading downstairs to clean up, racing to catch her ringing phone. "Hello" she answered trying to catch her breath as she fell on her bed.
