I Don't Think So

Part Eighteen

They were back on the road after stopping for dinner. "Man Zac I'm stuffed and tired." Jessy said turning to check on Jacob then slipping out of her shoes she pulled her feet up under her. Jessy leaned and placed her head on Zac's lap, "Go ahead and take a nap babe, we're at least two hours from home." Zac said. "Nah, I'd rather talk to you." Jessy said as Zac pulled her hair away from her face. "What you want to talk about babe?" Zac asked. "Nothing, everything, whatever." Jessy giggled. "So we just talking huh?" Zac asked "Yep, me and you talking about nothing, anything, whatever is on our minds. Zac?" Jessy asked. "Yeah babe?" Zac asked. "We going to have more kids now or we going to wait? I think Jacob deserves a brother or sister to play with." Jessy said. "Babe I'd love a bunch of kids but first you take care of you." Zac said. "Yeah your right but that won't take me long. Not in Tulsa because I'll be stuck at home, I'll be a porker in no time. You'll be after me to lose weight. Maybe I'll go back to dancing that'll keep me fit." Jessy said. "I didn't tell you but you move it." Zac said. "Oh that, Sis and I really used to move it. We danced for Back Street Boys in New York City, did a video for them too." Jessy said. "You what?" Zac said. "Sis and I danced professionally for BSB. Man I was like fourth grade." Jessy said thinking back. "What you thinking?" Zac asked. "I was thinking I look like I do now with less boobs." Jessy said. "So your the size of a fourth grader but you got boobs." Zac asked. "Got super boobs nursing your son." Jessy corrected. "So why did you stop, or do I know the answer, the same thing as everything else bad in your life?" Zac asked. "Zac you're are getting so good at this." Jessy said sitting up, kissing his cheek sweetly as she placed her hand on his thigh stroking lightly. "Aaahh whoa babe." Zac moaned chills racing through his body. His excitement thrilled Jessy, "Zac what are you thinking?" she asked remembering the conversation she and Chele had yesterday as they sat on the dock taking a breather. Just the two of them like it used to be, baring their souls. Jessy wondered if Tay had shared with Zac her sister's hidden talent. "Zac you're blushing. Hun what is it?" Jessy asked stroking his thigh again feeling his excitement. "Zac you know you can talk to me about anything don't you?" Jessy asked moving her hand higher on his thigh. "Yeah babe I know I can. We can talk about anything good stuff, stuff that hurts, our dreams, fantasies, anything at all." Zac was saying as "Zac!" Jessy screamed whipping her head around looking at the sign they had just passed. "Yeah baby what's wrong?" Zac asked concerned. "Zac that sign, it, Zac it said Tulsa. Are we almost home Zac?" Jessy asked with reserve in her voice her eyes filling with tears. "Jessy don't cry baby. It'll be okay. I promise Jessy, it's all right. I'm by your side and I know you can do this." Zac said in such a soothing voice Jessy was drawn to him. The love she found in Zac's eyes quickly reassured her, calmed her fears, "Yeah Zac, you're right, I can do this with you by my side. I can do anything." Jessy smiled at him. "There it is babe, home." Zac said pointing at the Tulsa skyline. "Hey Tulsa, I'm back and I brought somebody special." Jessy said moving back to her seat looking out the side window. "Zac?" Jessy asked still looking out the window. "What Jessy?" he answered her. "Promise me you won't let them get to Jacob please. Zac I can take anything, their stupid rude questions but not Jacob." Jessy asked turning to him. "Jessy he'll be safe at home, you know Dad won't let anything happen to either of you. Right?" Zac asked cupping her hand in his and squeezing lightly. "Yeah Zac you're right. So get me home to Dad." Jessy said lacing her fingers in Zac's as they headed home off the interstate at the last Tulsa exit. Zac made his way home, stopping at the security box at the end of the driveway to announce they were home. Zac pulled up the driveway as the gate opened, "Look babe they're all waiting." Zac said beeping the horn causing everyone to wave. "John, Mary and Lindsay." Jessy said as Zac pulled the car up front and parked and the craziness began. The welcome homes, the hugs, kisses, squeals of joy and finally the "Where's my grandbaby?" Jessy heard still making here way through the lined up family. "Beck I have to see this. I think Jacob knows Mom and Dad by name and I'm hoping by sight. Ike he was grinning from ear to ear this morning at the mention of their names." Jessy explained heading back to the car. "Hey son we're home. Jacob you want to see home?" Zac asked unbuckling him and lifting him from his car seat as he yawned and stretched. "Hey baby." Jessy said wrapping an arm around Zac as she leaned towards Jacob kissing him quickly then looking at Zac's parents. Zac turned and offered Jacob to his mother. "Jacob, how's my little boy today. You feel better I can see it in your happy face. Hi Jacob it's me Gramma." Diana said as Jacob smiled and squealed reaching for her face. "Umm he kisses now. Go ahead Mom we have towels." Jessy giggled as Diana leaned in to Jacob who sucked her face causing her to giggle. "Oh Jacob you should have had mommy teach you, you kiss just like your daddy did." Diana said as Walker leaned in and Jacob's eyes got bigger. "Hey boy you ready to play, huh?" Walker said and Jacob laughed. "Well dear yesterday we thought it was because you were blowing on his belly, today he's only seen your face and he's laughing dear." Diana teased. "That's because he knows it's coming, don't you Jacob." Walker said burying his face in Jacob's belly and blowing. "Aaahh" everyone said as Jacob laughed hard and his Grampa held him high, flying him to John. "You remember your other Grampa don't you Jacob, if you don't you will soon. You'll be seeing them all the time now too since you've come home to us." Walker said handing the baby to John. "My you've grown already. There's something else dfferent what is it Jacob?" John asked as Mary kissed all over the baby taking him in her arms. "He's a happy baby, Dad, he has his Daddy with him and he's just plain happy all the time now." Jessy said as Zac wrapped his arms around her. "Hun I'm going in I have to pee." Jessy whispered. "Me too. For at least the last ten miles." Zac whispered. "That explains the way you looked at the trees." Jessy teased as Zac took her hand and the headed in. "Potty break." Jessy mouthed to Chele. "Where they headed?" Walker asked. "Where would you go if you'd just driven in from Arkansas?" Chele asked. "The bathroom." everyone answered and laughed. "Walker when is he telling her, we need to get started. The hairdresser is due in a half hour." Mary asked. "I'll remind Zac. Let's go in. Isaac, Taylor could you unload the car, just put the boxes in their closet they can unpack later. "I'll get Jacob's things." Chele said. "Give me his playpen, I'll put it open in the Family room." Becky said as everyone grabbed boxes and headed in. "Mommy where do we put his bathtub?" Jessie asked. "The linen closet in the bathroom as soon as they're out." Diana said. Another trip to the car and Zac, Jessy and Jacob were officially home and moved in as everyone stared at the bathroom door. "She's crying Daddy, maybe he told her. I hope that's it." Chele said tears filling her eyes. "Baby don't start. Jessy is going to fine, Zac loves her and won't let anything hurt her or Jacob." Taylor said wrapping his arms around her and hugging her tight. Jacob was as patient as everyone else and let it be known that Mom and Dad had been in there too long. "Hey what's all the noise for boy?" Zac asked leading Jessy to Jacob picking him up holding him to his chest next to Jessy. "Hey Jacob wait to you hear what Daddy did." Jessy said as tears flowed freely again as she placed her forehead to Jacob's. "We'll let's get you fed Mommy is going to her old house for a little while and you're going to stay here with Daddy and your Grampa's and all your Uncles. No wild parties boy, I won't be gone that long." Jessy teased. "Hun I need one of his blankets." Jessy said looking at Zac. "If you want we can just go to our room." Zac offered. "Nah they're family, I'd be fine if I'd worn something under my jacket. Mom I need one of the guys tee shirt or something?" Jessy said turning to Diana. "Being fashionable don't get it once they're hungry huh?" Diana said extending a hand and leading her to the laundry room. They returned with Jessy comfortably dressed in a tee shirt and a pair of boxers. "Now I'm ready Jacob." Jessy said sitting next to Zac on the couch and nursed Jacob. "Zac get me up." Jessy asked as he pushed as Jessy rose still nursing, "Sis" Jessy nodded her head as she headed out of the room. The two stood talking and the excitement was driving everyone crazy, "Taylor, baby can you help me?" Chele asked and the two of them raced to the basement as Jessy made her way back to the Family room and Zac. "What are you up to?" Zac asked. "Just girl talk hun." Jessy smiled. "Then why did Chele call Tay." Zac said. "Maybe she wants to try what I told her nosy. You want to go peek and see." Jessy teased. "Go ahead have your secret, I guess it's only fair." Zac said taking Jacob and burping him. "Yeah I'm way behind in that category now." Jessy giggled slipping onto his lap, laying her head on his chest inches from Jacob. "We're so lucky Jacob." Jessy whispered to him as Zac leaned kissing both of their heads. "Girls your ride is here." Walker said after answer the gate buzzer. All the girls loaded into the limos and made their way to the Martin's house where they found Venita, Sela, Mary and Grandma. "You guys knew too." Jessy squealed hugging Venita. "Oh girl he's been busy at this practically all week. Our shopping trip, he bought our wedding clothes." Venita said. "What can you say girl, that boy loves you." Grandma laughed. "A very smart lady." Diana said laughing. The girls were treated like royalty courtesy John and Mary having their hair, nails, and make up done. The limos returned two hours later to return them for the night of Jessy's life.
