"Jessy Baby wake up, you're drowning us." Zac said shaking her. "Zac I love you, but I'm tired." Jessy said going back to sleep. "Jacob, Hey Jacob. Come on son." Zac said picking him up and he immediately started sucking the milk on Zac's chest. "No son, mommy." Zac said placing Jacob to Jessy's full breast. Sound asleep and the mother in Jessy reached for Jacob, caressing him as Zac picked up a baby wipe and cleaned himself. When Jacob finished Zac burped him and moved him to her other breast. As he finished Zac burped him and put him back in his crib and returned to Jessy. "Zac what you doing awake." Jessy woke to ask. "Nothing babe.Go back to sleep." Zac said as Jessy curled up next to him, laying her head on his chest and going back to sleep. Jessy woke to the alarm, turning it off and turning back to Zac kissing him lightly so as not to wake him. "Morning babe. How you feeling?" Zac asked. "Sorry hun. I didn't mean to wake you." Jessy said as her eyes got big and she pulled at her left arm which was under Zac's pillow. "What's wrong babe?" Zac asked as Jessy pulled at her hand. Zac sat up, pulling Jessy to him. "It's true. Zac you did." Jessy said gazing at her left hand and the ring on her finger. "Yeah of course I did. Jessy I love you more than anything. You made me the happiest man alive when you said yes." Zac said. "Come on you weren't surprised I said yes." Jessy said smacking him then wiping her tears. "Yeah I was." Zac said pushing her shoulder lightly. "Nah you wasn't I say. You know I.." Jessy said pushing both his shoulders harder and stopped as the realization of what she was about to say sunk in. Jessy buried her face in her hands as the tears came. "God Jessy how I've hurt you. Forgive me baby. Jessy I'm sorry." Zac begged forgiveness while trying to comfort her. "Zac I'm sorry I know you didn't do it to hurt me. I know you wouldn't hurt me Zac, you love me." Jessy choked out as she wrapped her arms around his neck burying her face into Zac's shoulder. "I hurt you though, even though I love you more than life itself. I still hurt you Jessy, God if I could only take it back, go back to when I was so angry with Tay for blaming me, treating me like I sat for a frigging interview to purposely screw up everyone's lives. If I'd only talked to you about how angry I was instead of showing you. I've learned Jessy, I'll talk to you first always. You gotta agree something good came out of it though." Zac said staring at the crib. "Yeah he sure is everything good in our lives. Zac do you think maybe it was meant to happen this way, you know, babies are God's gift, so maybe God knew I was thinking like way down the road we'd have kids after high school, college, and law school and that just didn't fit into his plan, my waiting that long." Jessy asked. "I don't know babe, it could be. I just know that we are meant to be Jessy. I know that you are everything I've ever wanted. Knew that the minute I laid eyes on you, man I was so blown away by you, still am." Zac said kissing her over and over, kissing her forehead, nose, cheek. Finally their lips met with such passion, desire and love they were both swept away by the emotions. "Wow I've never felt so loved Zac. Isn't life just so wonderful." Jessy said cuddling close after making love. "Geez Zac, I'll be late for work. You love maker, Dang Zac." Jessy said hopping out of bed. "Man I haven't nursed Jacob since his bedtime. Shit." Jessy said pulling clothes on as fast as she could. "Yeah you did babe but you were asleep." Zac said watching her dress. "Zac what are you talking about?" Jessy asked pulling on her shoes. "I woke up drowning, you were leaking all over us and when you didn't wake up, I got Jacob and well just say we took the 3am feeding babe." Zac said. "You are just the greatest. I love you so much Zac. Bye babe see you at break time?" Jessy said kissing him quickly as she ran a brush through her hair and rushed out of the house and ran the block to the Market. The difference in Jessy was noticed by everyone and mentioned often. "Boy someone's in love. Written all over your face girl, don't try and deny it." Margaret said. "Yeah I am." Jessy smiled bigger. "Infectious smile Jessy. Just can't help but being happy with you around." the customer said. "Well that's what we want, Happy customer's." Jessy smiled helping her out with her bags. "Well looky there the two most important people in my life. Now Mrs. Brown do you have someone at home to carry your bags in for you?" Jessy asked. "Yes dear, next door neighbor boy knows I'm coming. You worry so about everyone sweetie. God bless you." Mrs Brown said. "Oh he already has Mrs. Brown, his name is Jacob." Jessy said helping her into the car and shutting the door. "My lord child when did you get that?" Mrs Brown asked pointing at her ring. "Isn't it beautiful. Zac asked me to marry him last night and he gave me this ring." Jessy explained beaming as Zac and Jacob neared. "He gets cuter everytime I see him." Mrs Brown said looking at Jacob. "He sure does." Jessy said staring at Zac. "She's talking about Jacob babe." Zac said blushing as he unstrapped Jacob and lifted him walking to the car. "Ahh Mrs. Brown you haven't met Zac, Jacob's daddy and my fiance." Jessy said. "As of last night right?" Mrs Brown said. "Yes ma'am she made me the happiest man on earth again last night." Zac said placing Jacob on the window frame. "Baby you are just the cutest little man, just like your daddy. Mommy sure is surround by good lookers isn't she?" Mrs Brown said making Jacob squeal. "Oh cool, develop that ego Jacob." Jessy laughed wrapping an arm around Zac. "He squealed because I said Mommy didn't you Jacob." Mrs. Brown said and Jacob squealed again. She played the Mommy Squeal game with Jacob as Jessy ran in to tell them she was taking her break Jacob was here to eat. "You bring him in when he's fed girl or, or. I don't know what but it won't be nice." Margaret said as Jessy returned to Zac and Jacob. They sat on the bench outside the store as a happy little family as Jessy nursed Jacob. "What's that smile for?" Zac asked burping Jacob. "Oh Zac this is just all so right, meant to be is all." Jessy said tucking her shirt back in and they headed in to visit before Zac and Jacob headed home. "Jessy could you come to the office please." Mr Smith said of the PA and Jessy headed to the office. "Come in sweetie. Jessy I sure am going to miss you. You've made the store a great place to work and shop single handedly. You've done a wonderful job of training that I'm so pleased with Jimmy that I want you to go home and enjoy being a family. I'm giving you the afternoon off with pay and if you can stop in Friday afternoon I'll have your final checks ready for you. Go home and enjoy that baby, love him for all of us." Mr. Smith said and Jessy headed out to say her tearfilled goodbyes to her co-workers. "And you thought I made this a happy place to work and shop. See what you know boss." Jessy said teary eyed surrounded by sad faces. "Hey folks at least we had her for a little while and I want to see nothing but smile now, in her honor, let me see those smiles. That's it smile and wave goodbye Jessy." Mr Smith said causing everyone to laugh. "See ya, this is a great place to work and shop. I'll be back. Don't know when but someday when you least expect it." Jessy said as she slipped out the door and raced the block home trying to outrun the tears. "You're home early." Zac said. "Yeah hun for good too." Jessy said picking up the phone and dialing the doctor's office to see if Jacob could get in early. "Great we'll see you at 3:30 then." Jessy said hanging up and explaining that she moved up Jacob's well baby care appointment and they would be able to leave for home Friday night as she headed to change.
