I Don't Think So

Part One

"Miss Jessy, my mother said so." Lindsay said curtly. "I don't think so, Lindsay." Jessy said a get real gurl look in her eyes. "Okay so she didn't say so. She never would say so but please, maybe if you asked she would." Lindsay pleaded. Jessy dialed the phone and explained who she was and what she wanted, asking that she not interrupt something important. "Jessy dear what is it?" Mrs Martin asked. "I'm sorry to bother you at work but Lindsay would like to have friends over to spend the night, Jessie and Avie are their names ma'am and I don't know how you feel about things like that." Jessy asked. "Wonderful idea, I'll call the girls' mother and arrange it. This works out just wonderfully Jessy, we'll be travelling out of town for the night and won't be back until tomorrow evening. I trust you'll be okay with three little girls." Mrs. Martin asked. "No problem ma'am. I' would be delighted to watch all three." Jessy said and as soon as she hung up she relayed the message to Lindsay. "You're the greatest. Thank god you came to work for us." Lindsay said. "You think so do you? Well wait until you've cleaned your room and then tell me how wonderful it is to have me around. No arguing. You clean it or no slumber party." Jessy ordered pointing up the stairs as she answered the phone, "Martin residence, may I help you?" Jessy said. "Jessy? This is Jessie and Avie's mom and I just needed to let you know that the girls are on their way over." Diana said. "Thanks for letting me know, Mrs. Martin hasn't gotten back to me to let me know they were coming, Lindsay will be thrilled." Jessy said. "You're so sweet to take on all three. If you have and problems here's our number, call us and one of us will be there." Diana offered. "Thanks, I'm sure we'll get along fine. I only have brothers and well let's just say I really enjoy having little sisters they're not so gross as brothers." Jessy said. "Boys can be gross." Diana laughed and shared her dirty sock experience with her boys. "It got so bad we finally just built a new house." she teased. "You sound like such a cool Mom, I'm sure I'll get along with your girls. Thanks again for the help offer, I'll keep your number handy." Jessy said pocketing the number as she said bye, making a quick once over of the house. "They're here." Lindsay screamed racing down the stairs and to the front door, barreling out it with Jessy in tow. Jessy couldn't believe her eyes, "What hunks." she thought to herself looking at the backsides of the two blonde adonnises as Lindsay squealed, "Jessie, Avie" and then the squeals came from the van. "That's it. You call that screaming. Oh you'll never get into the Squad that way." Jessy teased. "So you must be Avie, and you'd be Jessie. I'm Jessy too but I'm real good at answering to hey you, so I'll just be hey you for the night. You girls have everything, no stuffed animals or special pillows huh? I'm going to feel so foolish when it's bedtime, maybe we'll just stay up until tomorrow, then you won't know my secret." Jessy said as the girls chased after Lindsay begging to know the secret. "Take your things up to Lindsay's room please." Jessy yelled after them then turned to thank the two blondes for delivering them. She ran her right hand over the top of her hair pulling her bangs back, shaking her hair before turning and noticing the gawks on their faces. Jessy felt faint as she realized standing before her was Taylor and Zac Hanson. "Wow two thirds of Hanson, who'd figure. I'm a devoted fan, you guys sure are talented. Thanks for all the great music." Jessy said graciously, adding, "I better get going before they do something that gets me fired. Thanks for dropping them off guys and it was nice meeting you." Jessy said turning and heading to the house at a fast pace taking the steps two at a time, waving a final goodbye as she closed the door. "They're still staring at me. Yes Yes Yes." Jessy thought to herself. "Dream on Jessy." she scolded herself and headed up to check on the girls. They had a blast painting fingers and toes, Jessy styling their hair and then dressing them up in her clothes. "Man we look great." they claimed as Jessy took their picture. Next they headed to the pool to swim, talking about boys, movies, boys, clothes, boys, kissing, boys. Jessy quickly dressed and ordered pizza for supper while the girls showered and dressed for bed. When the doorbell rang, Jessy rushed to get the pizza. "Hey what do I owe you?" she asked opening the door.
