After breakfast Walker and the older kids got busy clearing the snow away. Even though there had been no sign of a snowplow, Walker took Barbara's 4wheel drive, shovels, Isaac, Jessy and Zac and a shopping list from the entire neighborhood and headed out. They pushed and pulled countless people out of drifts soon realizing why there had been no snow plows through the neighborhood. The streets were blocked by abandoned vehicles stuck in the snow. *Finally, cleared.* Walker announced. *Dad stop a minute.* Jessy asked and she dashed from the car to a parked plow truck and talked to the driver explaining what they had cleared. After high fiving, she dashed back to the car and explained the neighborhood would be plowed next. *Wow you just asked and he's going to plow it?* Zac asked. *Yeah if you ask nice they do.* Jessy said. *You can do our asking from now on.* Zac whispered taking her hand in his. *Umm Dad, Momma said that you offered to talk to the guys' rep about me. It was decided Barbara and Kristi would try to catch a flight home, so Chele and Taylor drove them to the airport to wait standby. It was late that evening in the middle of the next round of snow showers that Chele and Taylor returned to report that Barbara hit a direct flight to South Bend and Kristi had a layover in Chicago before heading to Lansing. *Sis this is for you from Momma.* Chele said handing her a large envelope. Jessy opened it and pulled out the contents reading the letter. *Jessy: Hey sweetie I just finished meeting with Walker's attorney and he and Diana need to sign the attached forms and get them to him so he can have them recorded in Probate. I'm giving temporary custody of you to the two of them and relinquishing my custody of Chele to them also until Donna can arrange for temporary custody papers to them.
