Snowed In 4

Chele and Jessy were discussing "From This Moment On" as they returned. "I think you should go for it. I know you can. Just set yourself free, be positive Jessy. I know you can. Look at me and go for it. The ending, come on," Chele said holding her hands bouncing their voices off of each other and Chele squeezed Jessy's hands tight to let her know to let herself go, "You're the reason I believe in Love. And you're the answer to my prayers from up above. All we need is just the two of us. My dream came true, because of you. From this moment as long as I live. I will love you. I promise you this. There is nothing I would have missed. From this moment I will love for as long as I live. From this moment on." Barbara headed their way as they finished, "Baby I've never heard you two sound so good!" she said hugging them. "It's the song Momma, it's special." Jessy said walking away not wanting to argue about her age. She cleared tables, taking dirty dishes to the kitchen and filling a sink full of hot soapy water. Jessy pulled off her sweater so as not to get the sleeves wet and stood there in jeans and a tank top doing dishes as Isaac walked up behind her. "Why so sad?" Isaac asked. "I'm just so tired of not being old enough is all." Jessy said taking the dishes from his hands. "It's the pits isn't it. Man when I was your age, I said if I was only sixteen they wouldn't treat me this way. When I was sixteen, I told myself when I was eighteen they wouldn't treat me this way. Now I'm telling myself when I'm twenty-one they won't treat me this way." Isaac said. "You're encouraging. You mean it doesn't get any better?" Jessy whined leaning her head on his shoulder. "No Jessy it's just as one problem was solved at sixteen they won't treat you like thirteen but they won't treat you like your eighteen. You know you just switch for a bigger set of problems is all." Isaac said. "Boy Ike don't go into inspirational speaking, man you'd bomb. But thanks for being honest with me. It's the first straight answer I've gotten. Wish my older brother was as cool as you." Jessy said. "Tell you what, no matter what, where, when, I'm your older brother okay?" Isaac offered. "You mean it?" Jessy asked, surprised by the offer. "Yeah I mean it. It took guts to stand up for Mackie against your older sis.., um Kristi." Isaac said. "Oh that. I don't want to put you in the middle of anything okay?" Jessy said turning away. "Hey I'm your older brother remember." Isaac said putting an arm around her. "Tell me?" he asked. "It's just, this is between you and me okay?" she asked. "Yeah little sis, just you and me." he promised. "Isaac sometimes she is such a baby and a spoiled one. Like stick her tongue out at Mackie because he was taking away her attention. God what's that about, Mackie's a kid and we're suppose to look out for kids, no matter who they belong to right? Maybe I'm wrong but she hurt Mackie's feelings and he didn't deserve that." Jessy said her frustration showing. "And here you are trying to get treated as if you were eighteen and she acts like a two year old." he said. "You do understand. That's it exactly, I'm just so tired of it. I'm afraid I made a bad mistake. I misjudged her and now I have her so much a part of our lives." Jessy said resting her head on his shoulder again as Kristi came in the room. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" she yelled. "Dishes. What does it look like?" Jessy answered. "That's my baby sister you're pawing there." Kristi said. "Man Sis if you were smart you'd keep your mouth closed." Jessy said. "When I want your opinion, I'll ask for it. Not" Kristi said snottly. "Real mature. I know, next you'll stick your tongue out at me." Jessy teased and Isaac snickered. "What was that?" she glared at him. "I laughed. I found it funny okay?" Isaac answered. "No it's not okay. How dare you?" Kristi said. "Well let's see you stick your tongue out at my five year old brother, upset because he required some of my attention I assume, sure hope you're not totally insensitive. Now Jessy calls you to task for it and you respond like a two year old. That's how I dare. You've got some growing up to do." Isaac said and walked out of the room. Before Kristi got a word out, Isaac and Zac returned with more dirty dishes and both picked up dish towels and started drying dishes. Chele and Taylor joined them carrying more dirty dishes and then starting to put the dried ones away. The five worked as Kristi stood there speechless. "What's your problem now Kristi. Pitch in girl. Pull your weight. Get off your duff. Do something." Barbara said and Kristi walked out of the room. "Not quite what I had in mind." Barbara said shaking her head no. "We've almost got it done Momma." Jessy said. "Hand me a wet rag, I want to clean the counters." Barbara asked as they all finished up. They headed to the dining hall to double check for dishes and found another group that had been stranded because of the snow. "Hey I'm Jessy, my sister Chele, Zac, Taylor and Isaac." Jessy said extending her hand and then introducing the others. "Hey I'm Veronica, but I Chat under Monica." she answered. "No way, I'm Yellow-docs." Jessy said. "No. Get out a here." Monica said. "Why should I go, Ike1818." Jessy said. "Oh god Jessy it's you." Monica said throwing her arms around her looking over her shoulder "Chele?" she asked. "Hey girl what you doing getting stranded out here?" Chele asked hugging her. "We were heading to Palm Springs to Sean's folks' winter house and we get stuck in all this snow. This is my bestest bud Sean, Jenny and Steve." Monica said. "Sean hey. Nice to finally meet you, face to face." Jessy said hugging him. "Jessy you're prettier than I imagined. Monica didn't do you justice." Sean said. "She's never seen me, how would she know?" Jessy said, adding. "Sean, I'd like to introduce Zac, Taylor and Isaac Hanson." Jessy said. "Man Mon was always telling me your wild schemes to meet them. Who'd think you'd bribe mother nature into making it happen. They headed to the kitchen to get them something to eat and sat catching up. "Hey Isaac you know Monica already." Jessy said. "I do? How?" Isaac asked. "I ordered some Moe merchandise and it was totally messed up and I was fussing and fuming. I got so worked up and finally even though it was real late, I dialed the number and you answered the phone. We talked like forever. My phone bill was out of sight." Monica said. "I thought you sounded familiar. I fixed the problem right?" Isaac asked. "Yeah you did and I never thanked you. Thanks Isaac." Monica said walking up to him and kissing him long and hard taking him totally by surprise. "Wow that's grateful." Isaac teased wrapping an arm around her.
