Jessy and Monica sat on the couch, "I told them you were in the bathroom." Jessy whispered. "Get me out." Chele said. "Hey look the guys all got the same thing in their stocking. Cute little white tissue packages." Jessy said. "When I was little I got a package like that once." Monica said. "What was in it? Coins, Candy?" Jessy guessed excitedly. Suddenly everyone's attention was on the stockings hung by the fireplace as Jessy waved Chele on to the kitchen and she made it to the far side of the table, dropping to her hands and knees as Zac looked for Jessy. "Anyone for coffee or cocoa?" Jessy asked. "Love some sweetie." Walker said as the guys started laughing. "Coal, well charcoal. Santa has a sense of humor. Look at the note Dad." Zac said handing it to him as Jessy waved Chele to the hallway. As soon as the coffee was done Jessy poured two cups delivering them to Walker and Diana. "Zac you got coal?" Jessy asked with a concerned look on her face. "What Jessy?" Zac asked "How come you got coal from Santa Claus. Did you do something bad?" Jessy asked. "No baby. It's just a joke." Zac said. "Zac Santa doesn't joke about things like that, he just doesn't. He checks twice" Jessy said still looking concerned but turning and heading back to the kitchen stirring the cocoa noticing Chele had gotten the bathroom door opened. As Zac approached, Jessy headed to the bathroom. "Taylor where's Chele?" Zac asked. "Probably in the bathroom still." Tay answered. "I don't think so, Jessy just went in." Zac said and Taylor headed for the bedroom knocking. "Leave me alone. Haven't you picked on me enough?" Chele yelled out. "Baby what's wrong?" Taylor asked opening the door. "I heard you, I was at the end of the hall when I heard the first wise crack. If it wasn't for your Mom you'd probably still be making them." Chele said and turned away. "Oh baby we were just kidding." Taylor said laying down beside her and she scooted away. Taylor scooted after her and they soon scooted their way to the other side of the bed and were laughing. "Now you can help me make the bed." Chele said. "Whatever you say baby. Chele I don't know how I survived before you. You make just about everything, fun. Even making a bed." Taylor said. "Come on we better go out before your folks wonder about us." Chele said. "Yeah we better, so I can see what you got me." Taylor said taking her hand and leading her out to his family. Jessy had breakfast almost done and Zac totally confused, "Jessy that's enough. Zac is freaking." Chele said taking her by the hand. "Tell him or I will. Tell him how much you love him or I will." Chele insisted. "But" is all Jessy got out. "I'm tired of hearing about his butt, we all know you think he has the hottest butt. He's a person, not a body part." Chele said winking at Jessy. "Zac I, I don't know what to say." Jessy said. "Say you love me still. No matter what Santa Claus thinks." Zac pleaded. "Of course I still love you. Zac I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you feel bad or think that I don't love you. Hun I'll always love you, even when Santa Claus gives you coal. I may just write him on your behalf, I think he must have you mixed up with another Zachary Walker Hanson, you think?" Jessy said hugging him tight before kissing him tenderly. "Jessy I love it. Mom look." Avie squealed about her makeup kit and Jessie frowned not seeing the same size package from Jessy for her. "Mom look. Jessy you're just the greatest." Jessie said hugging Jessy after opening an even bigger makeup kit. "Now I can borrow from you." Jessy teased hugging her back. Jessy, Chele and Monica served up the breakfast casserole and they all sat around the tree eating and opening presents. Jessy sat feeding Zoe, who was overwhelmed by all the presents, having to play with each one and the box it came in. Soon the piles of present were piles of wrapping paper in the trash and presents being worn or played with. Chele and Taylor had somehow picked out identical sweaters for each other. Isaac bought Monica an I.D.bracelet and she bought him a necklace. Jessy for some reason had gotten a Glamor Shots package done while at the ski festival which she had bought frames for the other day. Zac immediately took the 8x10 and placed it on the mantle next to his picture, then put the wallet size in his wallet. Even giving his folks their own so they would be able to share Zac's girlfriend. It had become apparent that everyone was very aware of the fact that Jessy hadn't gotten a present from Zac except for Jessy who was enjoying Zoe and her toys. "Jessy here babe, Merry Christmas." Zac said handing her a small gift and kissing her sweetly. "Thanks Zac." Jessy said kissing him back while unwrapping the box. Inside the box she found a small jewelry box that she opened slowly, "Zac it's beautiful." Jessy said rising to hug him as tears filled her eyes and she fumbled trying to get the ring out. "Babe let me." Zac said pulling the ring from the box. "Oh Zac it's you and me going on forever and ever." Jessy said tears filling her eyes again. "Yeah Jessy forever and a day. I figure you can wear this until I buy you your engagement ring." Zac said slipping it on her finger as tears filled her eyes. Jessy hugged him tight as tears streamed down her face as she felt a tug at her knee, "Hey baby did I stop playing with you and play with Zac." Jessy said looking down at Zoe as Zac picked her up and held her between the two of them and they both kissed her before kissing each other. "Awesome Jessy, you rock." Taylor said opening his laser tag set. Zac and Ike's eyes both got big and they made a mad dash for their presents still under the tree. "We know where we rate, huh Zoe? After laser tag." Jessy said loudly after Zac deposited her in Jessy's arms. "Oh sorry babe." Zac said barely looking up from the box. "Rad Jessy thanks." Isaac said. "Thanks Babe this is great." Zac said strapping on his vest. "Have fun my boys." Jessy said nodding at Mackie. "Hey Mackie you want to play too, it comes with two of everything." Zac said. "Sure me do." Mackie said rushing to Zac who got him ready. "Man I'm so sorry Mom." Jessy said as Walker suited up in Ike's extra vest and the five of them turned the house into a battle ground. Chele took Jessy's place helping Zoe open her presents while Jessy made pies, Diana put the turkey in the oven and Monica peeled potatoes. Jessy picked up the phone and dialed home as she put the last pie in the oven. As she said goodbye to her family, she dialed Chele's and talked about her decision to try for a recording contract, persuading them to let Chele stay with her. Jessy headed to Chele with the cordless and traded the phone for playing with Zoe. Jessy had Jessie and Avie each grab an arm full of Zoe's toys and take them up to her room. Zoe's attention returned to opening presents as soon as the toys were removed and before long the last present was unwrapped. Jessy ran up and got Zoe a change of clothes and gave her a bath and put on her Christmas outfit. A short while later everyone had dressed for Christmas dinner and they sat down to feast. The rest of the day was spent as a family, laughing, loving, playing, enjoying each other's company and the spirit of Christmas.
