"Momma it's time to open the gates, everyone is set and in their places. Sis is coming to give you a ride up front." Chele said into her radio as she waved to Jessy driving the sleigh pulled by eight reindeer. Up at the front gate Barbara got out opened the front gate and welcomed the visitors while directing traffic. "Sheesh where's the fire." she grumbled to herself as someone disobeyed the signs and cut in front of someone else. Barbara blew her whistle and lectured the rude driver, who backed out and decided he'd follow the signs. "Way to go. That took guts. You know you're really not that big to be taking on a stranger that way." the driver of the van said rolling down his window. "Oh I'm not scared, I got four boys inside who'd be here in a matter of seconds if I push this button." Barbara explained lifting a chain from around her neck revealing a small alarm signal, adding, "One of the younger ones plays the front line for the local footbal team and they can all be meaner than junk yard dogs,so I tend to get a little carried away." Barbara explained, quickly adding "Thanks for caring." "So you're the owner?" Walker Hanson asked. "Sure am, Barbara... oh my god Walker Hanson." she gasped. "Diana this is Barbara oh my God Walker Hanson. Can I call you Barbara that last name is a doozie." Walker teased. "If you'd like I'd be honored if you'd stop and visit, let us show you the grounds up close and personal." Barbara offered. "Are you serious, we'd love to." Walker accepted readily. "Chele baby, I'm sending friends of mine your way, white van and I'm hanging my stocking cap on the driver's mirror. Please park them at the house and show them in if I'm not there yet and for god's sake don't scream." Barbara radioed. "Oh Momma I don't scream no more, well unless there's anything played, mentioned, written or pictured on Hanson." Chele giggled as Barbara called for a replacement at the front gate. Chele had just ushered the van into the garage. "Momma said she'd be right up. Here she comes in the sleigh." Chele said pointing as squeals rang out of the van. "Who wants to ride first?" Barbara asked as they piled out of the van. "Mom or Dad in the back and the two little ones in the middle and cover up with the blankets. Then someone can ride up front with my daughter Jessy." Barbara said as Diana, Zoe, Mackie and Isaac crawled in the back and Zac crawled in beside Jessy. "Walker you and the girls can have the back seat of the horse drawn sleigh and Taylor you can sit up front with my daughter Chele. Thanks Ben, Chele is going to drive, why don't you check in on the help for me." Barbara asked and the sleighs headed out, taking the Hanson Family on a private showing of the Christmas displays, the live Nativity scene, Santa's Workshop, Carolers, Frosty The Snowman, Nutcracker, and Santa's elves. After a tour of the displays, they toured the barns with all the other animals as Chele put away the horses and Jessy put up the reindeers. After closing the gates for the night, Barbara invited the Hansons in for a snack before returning home. "Diana we just baked cookies early today, we can start with those and hot chocolate while I throw a few pizzas together, it's no bother honest." Barbara explained "The hot chocolate would hit the spot about now mother." Walker suggested and it was agreed, the Hansons would join them. "Momma everything is set, may I go take a shower now?" Jessy pleaded. "Yes but make sure your back down for supper." Barbara said as Jessy headed to Zac, "I smell like a reindeer and you're too nice to say so Zac, so I'm going to save you and go take a shower. If you want go help Momma pile on the pizza fixings, everything's ready except the sauce and Momma's doing it now." Jessy explained heading upstairs. "Me do. Me do." Zoe squealed. "You do what little sister?" Zac asked as Jessy stopped and watched. "Me do eizza." Zoe begged. "Okay sis. You can help me do pizza." Zac laughed as he swung her high in the air and then carried her to the kitchen to help make pizza. Jessy sighed as they walked away and she raced up the stairs, suddenly intrigued by Zac Hanson. "What's that smile about?" Chele asked. "Huh? Oh that, it's just, Sis you should have seen him, how great he was with his baby sister. He just seemed too good to be true, you know, sensitive and not afraid to show it. Is it possible? I really thought all guys were jerks, even Zac Hanson only much much hotter." Jessy asked. "I'm hoping the same thing, so don't ask me. Same thing for Taylor, he stood holding Mackie and explaining over and over until Mackie finally got it and saw what Tay was talking about. You should have seen the look on his face, it was priceless yet Tay did it because he loves his little brother." Chele shared following her into her room as she quickly showered and changed before they both made it back downstairs. "Man I'd say someone missed you by the way he's staring at you." Jessy announced. "I agree, look at the way he's staring at you." Chele answered pointing at Zac while Jessy pointed at Taylor. They headed to the kitchen to join everyone, "Zac you and Zoe are doing a wonderful job. Man look at this one, I don't think there is one bare spot on it." Jessy teased then helped getting them in the oven as Chele got Isaac and Taylor to help her set the table. as Barbara, Walker and Diana sat by the fireplace and got to know each other. "We feel so welcome here." Walker said. "Like home away from home. Right dear?" Diana added. "That's it, I feel right at home." Walker replied. "Good, that's what I was aiming for. It's the least I can do, you don't know what your boys' music has done. Actually it brought us Chele." Barbara explained. "What?" Walker asked totally confused. "Chele isn't my biological daughter but Jessy was so certain God meant for her to have a sister and she waited and waited and when the youngest turned eight, she got the hint I wasn't going to have any more babies so she headed into a Hanson Chat room and got her own sister. Sight unseen they connected and the first time I saw a picture of Chele I started to believe their story of how I had Chele and then suffered from amnesia and ended up marrying and having the other five." Barbara shared and they all laughed. "If you hadn't told me you didn't have Chele, I never would have believed it, they look so much alike, coloring, facial structure, shapes. Are you sure you didn't suffer amnesia." Diana asked staring at the girls. "Must be Momma's telling them how we hooked up." Chele shared poking Jessy then pointing at the folks. They pulled the pizzas from the oven and started the next batch baking. They all fixed their plates and the kids headed back to watch a movie, the folks sat by the fire and the others sat at the table getting to know each other as the phone rang and Jessy's older brother answered. "Jessy it was the gang, they said they were headed to Bowling Alley if you feel up to it. You too Sis." Nick said , "Let them know I'm not up to it, I'm having too much fun." Jessy replied. "I'll second that. Tell them I'm not up to it either." Chele giggled and the guys headed out leaving Hanson and the girls at the table alone. "Music this house needs music." Jessy declared hurrying off and soon the house was filled with the sounds of Christmas music. "It's snowing again, it's so pretty." Jessy shared as she headed to the patio, opening the door, whistling and soon a big yellow lab appeared, "Hey boy, you want to come in?" she asked and the dog walked in checking the boys out, growling at Taylor's closeness. "It's okay Scotty, he's a good guy." Chele said patting his head before, petting him, causing Scotty to squeeze in between Taylor and Chele. "He sure likes you." Taylor said as Scotty laid his head in Chele's lap. "Well I like him too." Chele said petting him. "He's laughing at me." Taylor shared. "What? A dog is laughing at you?" Isaac asked and everyone giggled after looking and finding Scotty staring at Chele only.
