"Can you feel the excitement Chele." Jessy said. "I don't believe it, it's like sticking your finger in the electrical socket." Chele said. "You what?" Jessy asked. And Chele relived the event for Jessy and the two talked like forever. Talked through most of the opening act. "It's getting close, don't fight it, just let it take over. I can't imagine drugs ever doing this." Jessy said taking her hands. "It's started." Jessy said "What?" Chele screamed. "I said it's started." Jessy screamed. "I can't hear you." Chele screamed. "I know isn't it cool." Jessy whispered and smiled. "HANSON! HANSON! HANSON!" thousands screamed. Jessy noticed Mom slipping in ear plugs "Wuss." she screamed. Then they were on their feet screaming what they wanted. Lights dimmed and they saw the three of them. Jessy jumped up and down, "There they are." she screamed at Chele and Chele started jumping up and down. Jessy quickly picked up her sign, one side said Zac with a heart, the other said 10, 10. Jessy was gald she had thought of using lathe strips as handles to get the signs up higher, because the first 9 rows were nothing but signs, she faced the 10, 10 out and lifted it high, she couldn't see over the signs but when she heard the bass drum, she knew Zac had seen her, so she turned the sign around. Chele put up her Tay with a heart sign. Mom tugged at Jessy, so Jessy handed Chele her sign then sat down. "What?" Jessy yelled and Mom handed her a note. "They are good, a standing ovation and they haven't sung a note." Jessy hugged her and showed the note to Chele. Jessy grabbed Mom's pen and printed HANSON ROCKS!!! and showed it to Chele and started screaming HANSON ROCKS. Jessy showed the note to everyone within reach and soon they were like fifty girls screaming it. Jessy motioned to the row behind her to turn and yell to the people behind. Jessy noticed mom busy scribbling "HANSON ROCKS pass it on" and passing them out left and right. Soon they were passed across the aisle. Chele picked up the other signs gave Jessy HANSON and she took ROCKS Jessy stepped up on her seat facing the back and put up HANSON and Chele followed with ROCKS. They waved in unison with the chanting. The crowd went wild as the three joined hands center stage and bowed, taking a standing ovation without playing or singing a single note. Mom tugged at Jessy and tapped her watch and handed her the SHHH signs with metallic streamers attached. Jessy handed Chele hers and they started waving them and a hush finally started to fall over the stadium. Jessy and Chele turned as the guys returned to their instruments. As Zac sat down, Jessy screamed "Hey Zac" and Zac looked in her direction and smiled. Jessy got down, put the signs down and sat down next to Mom who put an arm around her. Jessy rested her head on her shoulder and felt Chele leaning against her shoulder and soon it went down the row until the end and the row behind, and the row behind until most of the rows behind 10 were hugging and had heads on their neighbors' shoulder. The concert started and heads bobbed up every where and soon hands were in the air clapping along. When Tay said everybody on your feet, even Mom got up. When Ike moved to center stage to sing "More Than Anything" the cheers started. The crowd appreciated the new look with IKE'S HOT, offers to have his baby, marriage, you name it they wanted it. Jessy picked up her 10, 10 and held it up to the wings where she saw Mom and Jessie, Avie, Zoe and Mackie, when she got their attention and were waving, Jessy got Mom's attention then Chele's. The girls grabbed the WHO DA MAN, IKE DA MAN signs and stood on the chairs and got them chanting WHO DA MAN, IKE DA MAN. Mom tugged at Jessy again and tapped her watch and handed her the SHHH signs and Jessy and Chele quieted them down and Ike sang. Jessy and Chele cried and hugged. They stood hugging while crying and soon all around the audience stood hugging and crying. Row by row the fans stood hugging and crying. As the number ended, there was a massive sigh throughout the audience followed by applause. During the sigh Jessy yelled "Way to go, Big Bro" and Jessy thought she heard "Love Ya Lil Sis" but that's what she wanted to hear she told herself. Midway through the next number Mom grabbed her again, this time it was time to go meet Jason who would get them out safely. Jessy grabbed Chele and frowned. "No can't be. Boo." Chele said. Mom led the way, once in the aisle, Jessy grabbed Chele's hand. As Mom turned in the first cross aisle, Chele and Jessy stopped turned and waved goodbye to the guys, headed off after Mom who had found Jason and he escorted them backstage. "Jason can I go on the catwalk with Mom Hanson and the kids?" Jessy asked. "Come on I was just going to get them next." Jason said and he led her off to a side door. Once on the catwalk, Jessy raced ahead as Jessie, Avie and Mackie came running. They had a group hug, "We saw you. You had fun." Jessie said. "Sure did." Jessy replied. Mom and Zoe finally made it to them, "Someone was having a very good time pumping the audience up." Mom said. "I don't know what you're talking about." Jessy teased. They made their way off the cat walk and headed back stage. Jessy took off to the back of the stage and found Daddy busy at work, so she stood back quietly. She could see Zac, she was content, in a world of her own. She didn't hear Daddy's radio, Jason reporting that he'd lost Jessy and they were searching backstage for her and he was going to check out front. Jessy watched the last number and two encores from back stage, not as good as from out front, well maybe she had a much better view of Zac, from behind, she thought. A bigger smile covered her face and she crossed her arms. As Zac unplugged to make it to center stage, he caught sight of her, stared and smiled as Jessy waved. Dad got on the radio and informed Jason he had found Jessy, or so he thought because of the way Zac was staring,"Let me turn around, yep right behind him." Walker informed. "Hey Daddy, you were so busy. I didn't dare interrupt. You bust butt for those boys." Jessy said and smiled. Daddy opened his arms and Jessy climbed the stairs to them. Zac rushed to her on his way to Center Stage and wrapped his arms around her, twirled her as she wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him again and again. "Zac bring her back here now." Daddy said and Jessy opened her eyes to see she was on stage. "Zac Hanson get me off stage now." Jessy ordered. "Oh I was going to introduce you to the world." Zac said. "Off stage introducer man." Jessy asked. "Zac now and get your butt up front." Walker ordered. "Yes Dad, I love you Jessy." Zac said with one last kiss and he rushed up front. "So you think you could handle this life?" Walker asked wrapping his arms around her. "Piece of cake as long as Zac is the frosting." Jessy said making him laugh. "Negative, there's too much back here now for the guys to want to give more encores tonight. Wrap it up." he said wrapping his arms around her again. "Now the hard one, how do you feel about all of this and the press knowing about you, hounding you most likely, writing things that aren't true. nosing into your past, having your friends interviewed, and them telling things you wish you'd never told them." Daddy asked. "Wow, you've been through the mill over the years haven't you? Daddy maybe not a piece of cake with the press, but I guess I will handle whatever I have to in order to be with Zac. Daddy I trust Zac, he won't let anything or anybody hurt us, so I will be okay?" Jessy assured him. "You know I believe you." Walker said kissing her on the top of her head. "Jessy" Zac yelled as he headed off stage. "Zac" Jessy said running to his arms. "You guys rocked. You didn't dissappoint us." she said hugging him then kissing him. "Jessy I forgot to tell you, I like the suit, great fit. When you left to come back stage, I almost died when I looked and you stopped, turned around, waved to me at the top of the rise." Zac said his hands appreciating the fit of the suit while his eyes searched hers for their reaction. "I bought it for you, I'm glad you like it." Jessy said smiling and caressing his face with her hand. "Come on Zac, you're not through yet son." Dad said. "Now what do we have to do?" Jessy asked. "It's called Meet the Press and a few select fans who were lucky enough to get one of these. Where's yours?" Zac asked. "It's in there some where honest. You sound like Jason." Jessy complained. "Jessy it's important, if they have to clear the building and you don't have a pass showing, security will show you the door." Zac explained finding the cord on the pass, and fishing it out. "What would I do without you taking care of me?" Jessy said taking his face in her hands and gently kissing him, over and over. "You do love me don't you?" Zac asked. "Of course I do. Zac promise me you'll never doubt that again, please no matter what gets written, or what something looks like, just know that more than anything and everything, you're all that matters, and I love you with every part of my being." Jessy said and then kissed him with a passion she had no idea existed. They embraced for an eternity, fans still shouting in the distance. "Zac, I'm ready to Meet the Press and be hated by the fans whenever you want. I'll understand if you'd rather I sit with Mom and keep my distance while the press and fans are around. Honest I would. I just want you to know that I trust you and your decision." Jessy whispered. "Hello world, This is Jessy, my girlfriend and we're going steady for now and someday I plan on marrying her, and then we're going to have lots and lots of kids and raise them strong, healthy and loved. Maybe someday they'll change this world and make it a better place." Zac said wrapping an arm around Jessy and heading back to the Press room. "Zac what kindness. You are so special." Jessy said as Zac took her by the hand and led her into the Press room. "There she is folks, Zac found her. The newest addition to our touring family." Walker announced. "I'd like everyone to meet Diana's Mother's helper, her name is Jessy and she's adored by all of us, some more than others." Walker announced reaching for Jessy's hand, pulling her to him. "What are you saying Daddy?" Jessy whispered. "Jessy would you consider coming on the road with us. Diana is so impressed wih you that she spoke with your mother and if you'd like, you can finish the tour with us." Walker explained. "Yes I do. Zac did you hear?" Jessy asked excitedly. "Yeah you do." Zac teased. "You be careful before I tell my boss." Jessy warned as Zac hugged her. "I'm glad you're coming along." Zac said kissing her sweetly. "Zac Hanson. Now everyone will think Mom hired me because of you, not because I'm qualified." Jessy complained. "Sorry babe, Listen up. I didn't know about Jessy being hired and coming with us. I think my Mom made a very wise choice, Jessy is licensed and certified and my little brother and sisters, adore her. Jessy is very good with them. I brought her here to introduce you all to my girlfriend, Jessy. She's one of the nicest people I've ever met." Zac shared. "So you got it bad, huh Zac?" a reporter asked. "Real bad, you might say I'm a goner." Zac teased and pulled Jessy to him. "Zac this is a little much." Jessy whispered as the questions began. She handled them like a pro. "So Jessy the girlfriend not Jessy the Mother's Helper, how do you feel about Zac." a reporter asked. "I've been a fan of Zac Hanson the rock star for a long time now, but meeting Zac Hanson the man is the highlight in my life. He is a very kind, sensitive, caring young man that I'm very proud to know. Everything we thought about them, nice, well mannered, Hot, it's that and more fellow Zac fans and I know some of you won't be able to work past hating me and to those of you, I'm sorry but I'm not giving him up. I plan on sticking around a long time. To the rest of you who can be happy for us, thanks and I'll be in touch. I hangout in TalkCity's Hanson Chatroom a lot, see you there and I'll be glad to answer all your appropriate questions." Jessy shared as Zac held her hand, beaming with pride. "So rest of Hanson how do you feel about Jessy and Zac's having a girlfriend before either of you." a reporter asked. "Jessy is one of the nicest people. She's like a little sister already, a part of the family and she makes Zac so happy, she's okay in my book." Isaac said. "Ike's right about her making Zac happy and nothing else is important. Jessy is a good person, a super gal. I like." Taylor agreed. From a simple Act Of Kindness lives changed.
