The bus was filled with laughter, music, and squeals of joy as it made its way across Michigan, Indiana and into Illinois. They played cards, monopoly, scrabble, tic tac toe, and name that tune to pass the time. When the bus stopped to refuel, they opted for McDonalds for dinner and Diana and the girls ran next door to pick up the food before heading out and finding a small roadside park. They pulled in and everyone got out to stretch their legs and eat. After eating Kat stretched out in the grass, "Babe you didn't eat much, you okay?" Isaac asked. "Sure hun, I guess there's just not much room to pig out anymore, after a few bites I feel full." Kat answered as Isaac laid down next to her. "You're so beautiful." Isaac said kissing her tenderly. "Okay, what do you want? You know you don't have to butter me up. Not you, for some reason, I just can't seem to say no to you." Kat said, leaning to kiss him. "Really you can't say no to me?" Isaac wondered. "Don't push your luck, I may just find my nerve." Kat warned. "I'll be good." Isaac teased. "Oh I'm sure you will be." Kate teased. "Kat Masterson you.." Isaac exclaimed stradling her, looming above her, "You're a bad girl." Isaac laughed shaking his head. "No I am not." Kat pouted. "No I'm not falling for it, pout all you want." Isaac insisted as he laid back down. "Zac, help me up please?" Kat asked extending her hands. "Sure sis." Zac replied pulling her to her feet. "Thanks little brother who's bigger and stronger than me." Kat teased kissing his cheek and making her way to the bathroom. She returned to find Isaac still laying on the ground, not looking too happy, "Zac would you help me back down?" Kat asked. "Sure sis." Zac answered, steadying her as she sat down next to Isaac. "Miss me?" Kat asked, not getting a response. "What?" Kat asked, adding, "Hun are you mad at me? Isaac what is it?" "Baby I'm not mad at you. Kat I would have helped you up. I'd do anything for you." Isaac pleaded. "You silly goose, I know you'd do anything for me and I love you for it." Kat shared caressing his face before kissing him deeply. "You said you love me for it. You love me?" Isaac whispered. "Yes Isaac Hanson, I love you more and more everyday." Kat whispered back. "Me too babe." Isaac shared kissing her passionately, laying her down on the ground his hands caressing her body. It hit them both at the same time, they were not alone. "Isaac." Kat squealed swatting him. "Kat" Isaac squealed back swatting her. "I bet they're all staring, huh?" Kat asked. "All except Zoe and Mackie." Isaac answered. "Isaac." Kat squealed again swatting him. "I couldn't help myself." Isaac confessed. "Me either. I want you so bad." Kat confessed. "I know babe, someday." Isaac insisted. "Yeah someday." Kat agreed the biggest smile appearing on her face, "But for now, I love you." Kat shared kissing him tenderly. They loaded back up and headed southwest as the sun began to set. "Isaac help me up. Zoe is definitely tired, I think I'll get her dressed for bed." Kat asked. "Sure. I'll give you a hand." Isaac said pulling her to her feet, "Hey little dude, come on let's get your jammies on too." Kat said getting pajamas for Zoe, Mackie and herself. Zoe was out as soon as her pajamas were on and Isaac held her as Kat helped Mackie. "Your turn." Mackie insisted. "Turn around then so I can get dressed. No peeking either of you." Kat ordered as she dressed quickly. "Done. Let's take care of our dirty clothes and then we can cuddle." Kat shared and the three cuddled on the couch reading to Mackie until he nodded off and Isaac carried him to his bunk. When he returned to her, he found her reading to Avie. Isaac slid back into his spot holding her in his arms. "Kat does it hurt being pregnant?" Avie asked. "No sweetie. There are times it hurts, like when the baby straightens out and pushes against my ribs, but overall it doesn't hurt." Kat explained. "I'm sorry the baby's daddy died. Sorry baby, but my big brother wants to be your daddy and he's real nice." Avie said as Kat gasped fighting back the tears. "That was such a sweet thing to say to the baby Avie. Thanks sweetie." Kat said kissing the top of her head. "I mean it Kat, Isaac really likes your baby and he'd be a good daddy. I just know he would." Avie insisted. "I agree with you sweetie, he'd make a real good daddy. How could he miss, he's got one of the best examples." Kat shared. "Good night baby. Night Kat thanks for reading to me." Avie said kissing everyone goodnight. "I'm going too. She's right Kat, he'd make a good daddy for your baby. He sure loves you." Jessie said saying her goodnights. "Not you too?" Kat teased as Diana sat next to her and they laughed. "You've got awfully nice kids Mom Hanson. Such compassion at such a young age." Kat exclaimed. "The girls or Isaac." Diana teased. "You know Isaac ain't young. He's older than me." Kat laughed. "Man he's old." Diana teased. "Wait a minute, you're my mother so what's that make you?" Isaac asked. "Your mother and don't you forget it. They say the mind is first to go you know." Kat teased and everyone laughed. "Hey you're suppose to be on my side, you love me, remember.?" Isaac pouted. "Where did you hear that?" Kat asked teasing. "From you, I love you more and more everyday, that's what you said." Isaac insisted. "Oh, then it must be true, I wouldn't lie about something important like that." Kat exclaimed kissing him sweetly. "Yes." Jessy whispered, hugging Zac tightly. "Don't cry baby." Taylor whispered wrapping his arms around Chele. "That's so nice sweetie, I'm so happy for both of you. It's an answer to my praryers. You kids enjoy, your father and I are going to bed. Don't keep her and the baby up too late." Diana shared and warned Isaac. "I'll take care of them Mom." Isaac assured as he lifted Kat placing her in his lap as Tay and Chele took the other end of the couch and Zac sat between them, pulling Jessy onto his lap. The six sat talking as Kat started to nod off, "Babe let's get you to bed." Isaac suggested. "No I want to be here." Kat said cuddling back into his arms. "Then I'll go to bed with you again. Isaac offered. "Promise?" Kat asked. "Promise babe but I better get dressed for bed tonight." Isaac explained as he helped her up and rose himself, grabbed pajama bottoms and headed to the bathroom, "Wait. I gotta go potty." Kat shared as Isaac waited for her and they headed to the bathroom together. "What happened last night?" Jessy asked. "Ike didn't say that, just that she let him hold her." Zac shared. "They're in the bathroom together. Kat is peeing in front of him. She hardly let's me in the bathroom with her. I don't believe this, Kat doesn't trust anyone Taylor." Chele said shaking her head. "Ike isn't just anyone baby, she loves him, you heard her. All I know is I'm happy for him, he's looked for her for so long." Taylor shared. "He definitely loves her. I'm so glad she loves him too." Zac said as the two reappeared. "Jessy if you want you can sleep in my bunk, I'm sleeping with Kat." Isaac offered. "Yeah then you'll be sleeping next to me at least." Zac answered. "I'm glad that's what you want Jessy. You're really good sis, I hardly saw your lips move. She throws her voice real good Kat." Isaac teased. "Ah shut up. That's what you want isn't it babe?" Zac asked hugging her. "Of course Zac, if they aren't going to let me sleep with you I'll settle for next door." Jessy answered. "You're right we aren't going to let you and don't be yapping all night either." Kat warned. "Yeah, well you two keep it down too, no moaning and groaning allowed." Jessy insisted. "Ah don't let us have no fun." Kat whined. "You young lady are going to bed." Isaac insisted. "Yeah with you." Kat said turning to him, kissing him passionately as she caressed his bare chest. "Kat" Isaac moaned. "None of that moaning I said." Jessy teased as they all decided to turn in for the night so they'd be rested for their first day in Tulsa.
