About four hours after they fell asleep, the baby woke Kat, who woke Isaac, "Hun wake up. Isaac please wake up." Kat asked. "Babe what's wrong? You okay?" Isaac asked as he woke. "Isaac the baby's up and moving, I have to go potty now." Kat explained as Isaac rose and helped her from bed and to the bathroom, waiting to help her back to bed. She laid in his arms, listening to his heartbeating as he stroked the baby, lulling it back to sleep allowing Kat to sleep more as Isaac watched in amazement. Kat woke the next time to Zoe stirring, only to find Isaac still watching her. He got them up and lifted Zoe from the porta crib for Kat before she insisted he go back to bed. Kat changed Zoe's diaper and found them something to eat. After, she found a change of clothes for Zoe and gave her a bath and dressed her, finishing as Mackie woke up and Kat started all over, making him breakfast, finding him clean clothes, sending him in to take a bath. Mackie was clean and dressed as Kat heard a knock on the door. "Hun someone's knocking on the door. Isaac wake up, someone's here." Kat said leaning in kissing him, waking him right away. Isaac pulled on his jeans and tee shirt and headed to the door to find the rest of the family, packed and checked out of the hotel. Kat went through her things finding a change of clothes and heading to shower, "Babe thanks for the great dream. I can't believe how happy I'm going to be some day." Isaac whispered smiling from ear to ear. "What you mean some day? What's that smile about?" Kat asked smiling back before placing her hand on the side of his face, caressing it. "Kat" he moaned softly. "Isaac, I, I.." Kat stopped closing her eyes as Isaac reached the doorknob and opened the bathroom door, backing Kat up into the bathroom, closing the door behind them. "Kat tell me?" Isaac pleaded holding the hand she placed on his face, turning and kissing the palm of her hand, causing her eyes to open. Kat was pleasantly surprised to find herself alone with him, "Isaac I, I really, you,.." Kat stopped again, closing her eyes. "Baby do you have any idea what it meant to me when you let me lay down with you and hold you?" Isaac asked stroking her belly as Kat shook her head no, peaking at him before closing her eyes again. "It meant that you trusted me not with just you, but with the baby. It made me so happy Kat, I laid next to you watching you sleep and it hit me, if she trusts you this much she must care about you." Isaac shared. "So very much, Isaac I'm falling in love with you and it feels wonderful." Kat finally shared. "Oh babe I'm a goner too. You're all I think about, talk about, care about. I love you Kat Masterson." Isaac confessed. "I love you too Isaac Hanson and someday I'll scream it for the whole world to know." Kat promised, pressing her lips to Isaac's kissing him deeply. "I better get before someone notices I'm missing too." Isaac said as Kat kissed him again longer and harder than before. Kat was the topic of conversation of the entire bus and as she returned from her shower, "Kat you look positively lovely this morning. Sweetie you wear happy very well, you and Isaac. Kat I'm so pleased dear." Diana shared. "Thanks. I've been so nervous about how you felt about, well, I can't imagine your son falling for a pregnant woman is what a mother wishes for." Kat said lowering her eyes to the floor. "Kat don't do this. Dear there is nothing to be ashamed of, you've done nothing wrong. Kat, I think you're a very special person, to have cared so much for someone that you didn't think about what you wanted. I'm not sure I could be that selfless, he was lucky to have know you." Diana explained. "I don't think Adam's parents would agree with you." Kat said looking to the floor again. "Sweetie, sometimes people can't deal with the pain of losing someone near to them, God forbid, burying your own child has got to test anyone's faith. Anyway, sometimes people deal by assigning blame." Diana shared. "Let me tell you, they sure have dealt with it then." Kat joked shaking her head. "Me baby, me baby." Zoe squealed seeing Kat. "She is sure fascinated by the baby, I thought she'd be too young to understand." Diana said picking up Zoe and moving to Kat's side. "You, I almost flipped when sang to the baby the first time, and hugged and rubbed my belly." Kat exclaimed as Isaac approached. "You loving my baby again?" Isaac asked. "Uh huh." Zoe giggled as Isaac placed his hand on the baby and the baby moved as Kat's eyes grew large. "Hey guys, let's save this who can make the baby jump the highest game for after it's born." Kat said rubbing her ribs. "Babe I'm sorry, I know no rough housing in the house huh?" Isaac stated rubbing her ribs and kissing her sweetly then explaining they were taking off soon. They were headed back across the bridge when it was decided to stop at Greenfield Village to view Thomas Edison's Laboratory, Logan County Courthouse, the farm, glass shop, civil war camp, river boat, train, and everything else. "Isaac, hun I don't really feel up to half a day of walking besides.." Kat trailed off. "I know, someone might recognize me and link us together. It's probably a good thing that you take it easy." Isaac whispered stroking her belly. "Yeah, probably a good thing." Kat agreed as everyone else headed out and Kat used Isaac's laptop to catch up on her e-mail and chat online with some friends. When she got bored she looked through the cupboards and started lunch. "Man something smells good." Isaac said returning with a tired Zoe, adding, "Babe do you mind if Zoe hangs out with you, she's bored already." "Me too. That's why I'm cooking. Hun make sure they don't fill up on junk food. It'll take a couple of hours before it's done, so come back here for lunch okay?" Kat explained as Zoe crawled up in a chair and hugged her belly, talking to the baby. "See you two, no three in a couple of hours." Isaac said kissing Zoe, Kat and her belly. Kat and Zoe baked a cake, read books, danced, sang, and were making a salad when the rest of the family returned to find Zoe tossing as Kat chopped and dumped in. "Toss, toss, toss." Zoe sang, "Chop, chop, chop." Kat sang as Isaac snuck up behind her. "So you think you're going to scare us or something huh? Even the baby knows your here." Kat said turning towards him, taking his hand and placing it on the baby. "Whoa I'm back already." Isaac said kissing her belly and stroking the baby. "Smells great. Zoe Genevive look at you cooking." Diana exclaimed stealing a piece of lettuce. "No no mumee. Toss, toss, toss." Zoe said. "Excuse me. I won't touch again." Diana said as the girls helped set up for lunch. After lunch, they were back on the road heading west.
