Slowly over the months emerged a very confident, self assured Kat Hanson ready to take on the world. With the help of Chele and Jessy, the three put the Diva's of the Music World on notice skyrocketing to the Number One spot with their first three releases. Three Car Garage Music Productions became one of the hotest labels and plans for a Kat Hanson / Hanson tour were being developed. Kat and Diana ventured out and opened the Tulsa Arts Institute for Children, offering Dance, Acting, Gynmastic, Music, instrumental and voice lessons at prices in line with family incomes assuring that any child in Tulsa could experience the arts. It was the afternoon of the Institutes first recital showcasing the talents of the students plus one of the founders, "Isaac I've never been so nervous. I feel like I'm going to barf." Kat said pacing back and forth. "Did you look, there isn't an empty seat. All the potential sponsors are here. Chris and Daddy did a great job, I just can't let them down." Kat shared the panic setting in. "Babe, do you know the routine?" Isaac asked. "Of course I do, it's my work. You know that, silly. Oh I get it, why am I nervous then? You still amaze me, always knowing what I need to hear." Kat said wrapping her arms around his neck gazing into his eyes. "You know I sure am glad Mom didn't laugh at me the day I suggested this place. I never could have done this without her, she's the one who made it happen. Me I just happen to see a little girl dying for attention and wondered how many more were there like her, like me. Well I lucked out and found you." Kat said pressing her lips to his. "Have I told you lately how much I love you. That I still love you more and more everyday." Kat asked. "I heard that some where before, just not sure where." Isaac teased. "I know I've been so wrapped up with all of this, but if this goes like I pray the Institute will take care of itself from now on and I can move on to more important things." Kat announced. "Now what? Kat I don't want you pushing yourself, we go on tour in less than three months." Isaac complained. "Isaac do you have any idea what important to me? You, DJ are the most important things to me but." Kat stopped looking away. "But what Kat? DJ and I are the most important things?" Isaac asked. "Of course you and DJ are the most important things to me, you know that, but Isaac I want to have another baby. I know, I know someday, but Isaac, DJ's almost a year old and she, oh she nothing, I want to have another baby. Sometimes I feel like, I don't know, that we're going in different ways and I get scared. I know a baby isn't an answer but I want to have a baby, your baby." Kat pleaded. "Kat, I don't know what to say. You want us to have a baby?" Isaac repeated. "Yes Isaac Hanson I want to have your baby and I know DJ would love a brother or sister. So what do you think?" Kat asked. "I think it would be nice too, but I don't have to carry it for nine months you do." Isaac shared his concerns. "Well it's what I want to do. I've really thought about it a lot. If I get pregnant now, by the time the international tour is over we should be done with the first trimester and then when the U.S. tour starts we can announce that we're having another baby at the first Tulsa Show and by the time the tour is over we'll be almost eight months pregnant. Cool huh?" Kat bragged. "You have been thinking about this! Hmm. You've got to go dance, I hear Mom starting the announcements. Babe we'll talk later, you go knock the socks off them and make them open those checkbooks up and support this place so we can move on to more important things." Isaac hinted as they headed to the stage. Her returning performance to dance, gymnastics were well received, and when Chele and Jessy joined her perfoming their current number one hit, bringing the house down, the checkbooks began to open. By the end of the show, Chris and Walker reported that funding for the Institute had been secured. Before the tour began, Kat received two surprises from Isaac, first he purchased the land surrounding his parents and construction of their house began with promises of it being finished before the tours were done. About five weeks before the tour, Isaac was up early meeting with contractors and because Kat had been up during the night with a teething DJ he left both of them to sleep in. When Kat finally awoke and started to rise, she felt faint sitting back down on the bed, placing her head down to try and calm a churning stomach. After rushing to the bathroom to vomit. Kat sat on the floor wondering what was wrong, "Yes! Oh Let it be!!" Kat screamed waking DJ. "Hey DJ. Mommy just puked isn't that wonderful?" Kat shared knowing she'd get nothing more than DJ's usual smile. They showered and dressed and made the way down to breakfast which sent Kat racing to the bathroom. "Sweetie are you okay?" Diana asked checking on her. "Everything is wonderful. Mom I think I'm pregnant. This is the second time I've barfed this morning. I sure wish I'd picked up a home pregnancy test. I don't want to get Isaac's hopes up needlessly. I'm so glad he's still at the construction site, or he'd get suspicious" Kat shared. "Let me get you one. Not that we're planning, but we're aren't doing anything not to get pregnant so I keep one on hand just in case." Diana shared, quickly retrieving the test kit and reading instructions as Kat followed them. "I can't stand this wait. I'm going to go make sure DJ is okay." Kat announced returning to the kitchen to find Isaac, Tay, Zac and Walker with DJ. "Hey husband, how's our house coming?" Kat asked wrapping her arms around him as he fussed over DJ. "Everything is on schedule for a change." Isaac said as down the hall Diana screamed "Yes!!" then appeared at the end of the hall with the test stick in her hand. "Yes! Yes!" Diana screamed again. "Di, Di, Diana. What on earth are you doing with that?" Walker barely got out. "What is that?" Zac asked as Jessy and Chele finally returned from the construction site. "Zac why does your Mom have a pregnancy test stick in her hand?" Jessy asked. "A what?" Zac asked. "Mom?" Taylor asked. "Diana?" Walker mumbled still in shock. "Oh no dear, it's our son's good news. Sorry." Diana rectified. "Don't look at me!" Chele said. "Don't look at Jessy!" Zac said. "Like you said, Everything is on schedule for a change." Kat said wrapping her arms around his neck. "I barfed twice this morning and was hoping there was a good reason. Mom had the kit so I passed the test." Kat giggled as he lifted her from the ground and spun. "Oh no, stop" Kat screamed putting her hand over her mouth. "Babe I'm sorry." Isaac said rushing her down the hall. The morning sickness was over by the time the tour began and by the time they returned to Tulsa, Kat was 4 1/2 months along and Doc Miller was pleased with both mother and baby. "Hey DJ, did you come with Gramma and Grampa?" Doc Miller asked welcoming them to the ultrasound. "Hope you don't mind, there was no keeping Gramma away and you know how protective she is of DJ. No sitter is good enough!" Walker explained. "The way it should be, huh DJ?" Doc Miller asked as the technician began the scan. "I do believe we're having another good sized baby. It's measuring a little bigger for your due date and we're sure of our due date?" Doc Miller checked. "Yes I'm sure." Kat argued. "Down little Momma, just checking." Doc Miller laughed. "Well that mystery is solved." Doc said quickly stepping in front of the screen. "Kat did we want to know the sex of the baby?" Doc Miller asked. "No but I already saw." Kat said. "Saw what?" Isaac asked. "Gramma saw too." Diana added. "Saw what?" Walker asked. "I guess it's only fair that you move Doc." Kat asked. "Oh no, the baby moved." Doc Miller explained. "Hey in there, Daddy didn't see you turn back around okay baby?" Isaac asked leaning into Kat's belly. "Ask and you shall receive." Diana declared pointing towards the screen, "See Walker." Diana asked. "See what?" Walker asked. "I don't see it either." Isaac added. "Mom could you point it out for me, I don't think I can do it without you." Kat teased. "Men, men, men, don't you see his little man thing right here." Diana said as the technician circled it on the screen for them. "Oh it's a boy then." Walker said. "Yes dear a little man thing means he's a boy." Diana said teasingly. "A son. I'm having a son." Isaac rejoiced. "Excuse me, who's having?" Kat teased. "Sorry babe, we're having a son. DJ you want a little brother?" Isaac asked first kissing Kat, then taking DJ from Gramma and moving to the screen, pointing out the baby. The next night at their first Tulsa Concert, Kat, Jessy and Chele headlined for the guys. As the girls were taking final bows, the audience went wild but quickly quieted back down when then watched DJ put her hands to her ears and hide in her Daddy's arms. "Weren't they great." Isaac said, adding, "DJ and I are a little prejudiced when it comes to Mommy though." "DJ, Hun what are you two doing here." Kat asked surprised as she kissed them both. "We're here to share our good news. There's something we've been dying to share but decided there is no place like home, so we've waited to get home to let you and the rest of the world know that our family is growing, we're, Kat is four and a half months pregnant." Isaac shared and the audience roared it's approval, oooh'd and ahhh'd, and even cried. They finished the U.S. tour and returned to their new house rushing to get things situated before the birth of their son. With a little over a week to go, Kat panicked that the nursery wasn't completed. "Kat don't worry. It will get done, somehow." Isaac assured her. "Sis let us do it for you." Jessy offered. "Great idea Jessy. Kat don't worry about it. Jessy and I will pick out everything and have it delivered. You just relax and concentrate on the baby." Zac agreed. "I don't know what to say. Umm thanks I'd love it." Kat accepted and concentrated on the baby. A few days later Jessy and Zac were just finishing putting up a wall paper border in the nursery and dragged Kat in to see what they had done. "See, the furniture will be here in the morning and then everything will be ready before the baby arrives." Jessy explained as Kat grabbed hold of Zac's arm and leaned over moaning. "Kat babe what is it?" Isaac asked. "Duh. Blondes how soon they forget." Kat teased. "The baby?" Isaac asked. "Yeah they aren't that close yet but they sure are strong." Kat answered. "You can say that again." Zac said raising his arms with the imprint of Kat's hand in it. "I think we better take DJ to your folks to sleep so we don't have to disturb her if things move along." Kat suggested. "Hey we'll stay that way DJ won't have to sleep in a strange bed, we can even have Zoe spend the night. DJ adores her, she probably won't even miss you." Jessy offered. "Good now I don't have to ask." Kat said laughing. "We'll go pack an overnight bag." Jessy said. "Hun you better go and let your Mom and Dad know. Just don't be forever. I'm going to give DJ a bath and get her ready for bed." Kat stated heading to DJ's room. They all headed to bed right before 11p after Kat called Diana, "It's like it stopped Mom. They were so strong, I could have sworn they were contractions. I must have been wrong." Kat said puzzled. "You try and get some rest then. It'll come soon enough." Diana insisted. It was about 3am when Isaac woke, "Kat, babe. Wake up Kat." Isaac said shaking her. "I'm tired leave me alone." Kat mumbled pushing him away. "Kat I think your water broke the bed's all wet." Isaac shared. "I said leave me alooooo." Kat tried to say as the contraction started. "Babe relax and breathe, come on babe relax and focus. Kat what are you doing?" Isaac screamed. "The baby's coming now stupid, I'm pushing." Kat got out while moaning deeply. "Don't push, not here, who'll deliver him?" Isaac asked in a panic. "Isaac you can do this, you have to I need you. Please don't freak out on me. Owww. Please." Kat tried to ask but the contractions were overpowering. "Babe focus and breathe. Kat focus, that's it relax work with it. Mom get over here, Kat's having the baby in our bed this time." Isaac shared after dialing the phone. "Sweet Jesus, Walker get up your grandson is making his appearance at home. Isaac we'll call Doc Miller and get him over here." Diana answered and hung up. "Kat what's the racket about?" Jessy asked rapping on the door."Sis I could use your help, I'm having the baby." Kat said before the next contraction started. "Kat that sounded like you said.." Jessy was trying to repeat. "Jessy get in here." Kat moaned. "Jesus Kat your having the baby here." Jessy said entering the room and heading directly to her side, rubbing her back and helping her lean forward. "That's it. Good push Kat. Way to go. Relax before the next one comes." Isaac supported her. "Hun I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do this here." Kat said starting to cry. "Kat Hanson you've got a job to do. So wipe away those tears right now. This is no place for a cry baby." Isaac ordered. "Don't yell at me." Kat snapped back. "I didn't yell, this is yelling." Isaac screamed. "Isaac Hansoooo.." Kat tried to say as the next contraction started. "Focus baby girl. You can do this. I got here in time but I think everyone else is going to miss this. Come on Kat push. That's my girl. Walker get behind her honey and push her forward gently." Diana ordered. "This one likes hospitals about as much as you huh?" Walker asked. "Less." Kat laughed and went back to pushing. "Aaah Baby Hanson looks a lot like my babies Kat. See Isaac he has your eyes." Diana was explaining as Taylor burst in, "I brought Doc Miller" he announced. "Kat Hanson we're suppose to drive in to the hospital before you have him not after. Well I'm just in time. Pant for me Kat. That a girl. Gramma in my bag you'll find an aspirator. Just dump it out Diana, that's fine. How you doing little momma? Keep panting while I clear out his airway. Done, Push away Kat." Doc Miller said and Kat bore down. "Good push. Grampa let her down a little while I rotate his shoulders, good right there. Next contraction should do it Kat." Doc Miller said. "Diana we'll need those two clamps and one of those packages should read naval clip." Doc Miller asked. "These and this?" Diana asked. "Good, we're all set for you, let's have this son." Doc teased. "Like you do any of the hard work." Kat teased. "Hell I have no idea how to charge you for this one. No one's ever made me come to their house and work before." Doc teased. "It should be cheaper, I'm your first. Here it comes." Kat said breathing deeper then a moan as she started to push. "Come on CJ Momma wants to see you too." Kat groaned out. "Grampa let her down a little, Good right there. A big boy, close to nine pounds I bet." Doc Miller said. "Just a little more Kat, Push for me." Doc asked and Kat gave it all she could muster and the baby cried. "You tell her big fella. It's a big baby boy." Doc Miller announced lifting him for Kat to see. "Hey DJ. Want to see your baby brother?" Taylor asked as he headed towards her. "Okay to come in Mommy?" Taylor asked. "Mom, I don't want her scared." Kat pleaded. "Just a minute Tay." Diana said getting a bath sheet and covering Kat. "Thanks Mom. DJ you want to see your baby brother?" Kat asked. "Me Mummee" DJ ordered. "Right this moment Princess DJ, your highness." Taylor said bringing her in the room. "Aaah look at him. He's so tiny. Itty Bitty." Taylor said. "Baby. Me baby." DJ said. "Your baby brother, little princess." Isaac said cutting the cord then lifting his son. "Kat he's perfect." Isaac said tears flooding his eyes as he placed their son in her arms. "He does have your eyes. Oh Isaac he's beautiful." Kat said reaching up and kissing him tenderly while holding the baby in her arms. "Well I take it he's a keeper?" Doc Miller teased. "Yeah he's definitely a keeper." Isaac said beaming. "Then Gramma do you think you could clean him up a little. Do we have a baby scale, tape measure around?" Doc asked. "Yeah they're in the nursery. So's his baby bath huh DJ, you helped Aunt Jessy put it all away didn't you." Jessy shared as they moved to the nursery. "Go ahead and go Grampa. I'd like to lay back and relax a little any way." Kat said. "He is just beautiful Kat. You did a wonderful job sweetie." Walker said kissing her forehead. "Thanks Daddy." Kat said yawning. "Woman you still have work to do." Doc teased. "Work, work, work. Is that all you ever think about." Kat teased back. "Now you sound like my wife." Doc shared. "Oh we're pretty much interchangeable when it comes to ragging on a husband." Kat shared and started laughing. "Cool a floor show, the styling of Lay Down Comedienne Kat Hanson." Doc joked. "Hey I was a stand up comedienne in my younger days." Kat joked, adding, "Those were the good old days." "You two are crazy." Isaac laughed. "We do have an abnormal doctor, patient relationship don't we Kat?" Doc asked. "I'd hope so Doc. If you're this way with all your patients, you're having way too much fun on the job." Kat burst out laughing. "Well that crack will cost you. Not a smooth move, insult the doctor." Doc said. "Oh you're the doctor. Ssssheesh and I thought you were the heckler in my audience." Kat laughed. "Stop Kat. I still have work to do and so do you. Let's get this over." Doc ordered. "Yes sir." Kat said moaning and giving a short push. "That a girl. Now to bag, tag it and have it analyzed. Intact again. You sure are an easy patient." Doc said. "Isaac you tell him I am not easy." Kat teased. "Doc she ain't easy. She's high maintenance." Isaac informed. "Yeah sure is a nice house." Doc commened. "Hey I'm right here. Well if you're going to be that way." Kat said swinging her legs off the bed. "What do you think you're doing young lady." Isaac asked. "Taking a shower and cleaning up, while you dump the bottom sheet and disinfect the mattress cover and put on a clean sheet for me. Thanks hun." Kat ordered. "Jessy?" Isaac called out. "Yeah? We're almost done. Grampa is drying him off." Jessy shared. "Could you help Kat she's going to shower and I don't want her alone." Isaac asked. "Sure thing, come on sis. CJ is gorgeous. I never thought he'd be so attentive right from the start. He looks to DJ everytime she speaks, it so awesome." Jessy shared. After Kat and the baby were cleaned up, Isaac drove them in to the hospital for the necessary tests and eye drops for the baby and to fill out the necessary forms before heading back home. Chris was at home waiting for their return, "Kat don't get mad but I'd like a live remote to announce his birth. You, Isaac, the baby and DJ, then add the rest of the family." Chris asked. "Sure fine. I'm hungry." Kat said heading to the kitchen. "I'll fix you something, what do you want?" Jessy asked. "An omelet sound good. What we got to go in it?" Kat asked moving to the fridge with Jessy. "Babe did you hear Chris?" Isaac asked. "Yeah hun, he wants to shoot a live remote of us and the kids and then the family too. It's fine with me as long as Mom's okay with it." Kat said. "I'm okay Isaac. I just had a baby is all. You want an omelet too hun? Oh Isaac I.." Kat stopped and walked his way. "I love you so very much." she finished kissing him deeply. "I love you too Kat Hanson." Isaac replied kissing her back longer and harder. "Jesus you two, number three already?" Taylor teased. "Taylor Hanson they love each other and you leave them alone about it." Chele chastised. "Yeah that's my sister and your brother loves her. Leave them alone." Jessy warned. "Isaac, I want to have a birthday party for CJ, you know Great Grandparents, your Aunts and Uncles, the family." Kat asked. "Sure babe, when?" Isaac asked. "Now" Kat answered. "Kat you sure, yeah you're sure. Mom?" Isaac called out. "Yeah son. CJ is so precious. What do you need?" Diana asked and soon she had them all dialing phones and inviting people over to celebrate CJ's birth. Over the next five years, Kat and Isaac had two more sons, BJ and AJ, Diana Jane, Clarke Joseph, Brandon Jordan, and Alexander James. Taylor and Chele got married, built a house behind Kat and Isaac's and had a baby girl. Jessy and Zac are now engaged, building a house behind Taylor and Chele's and both are enrolled at the University of Oklahoma. Both groups alternate new releases and number one spots. When AJ was born Chris dubbed the boys Hanson, The Next Generation and Kat teased that as soon as Jessy and Zac were married and had their first daughter, DJ Hanson would have her backup singers too.
