"Me baby, me baby." Zoe squealed as she entered the room with her mother. "Sssh Zoe they're still asleep." Diana said. "They were asleep. Come here Zoe you want to love my baby." Isaac asked reaching down and picking her up and placing her between Kat and himself. "Breakfast is ready you two. I brought Kat a change of clothes, I'll put them on your dresser son." Diana said. "Thanks Mom. We'll be down soon." Isaac answered. "Thanks Mom Hanson." Kat said kissing Zoe as they giggled rubbing noses. "La, la, la" Zoe sang to the baby as Isaac got up and got dressed, "Your turn babe. Zoe get her up." Isaac ordered pulling Kat to her feet, pulling her top off, his eyes getting large at the sight of her as he handed her bra to her, then helped her slip into her dress. "You're more beautiful than I had imagined." Isaac said helping her pull her dress into place, grabbing her jammie bottoms and pulling them down, then off as she stepped out of them. Isaac grabbed her panties and slipped them into place after she stepped into them. His hands caressed her butt before he pulled her into him and he kissed her passionately. "Kat you have to marry me soon, promise. I want you so and I don't want to have to wait." Isaac confessed. "Then I suggest you make an appointment with your attorney and then see if Chris and your Dad can make time to help us figure this out. Isaac are you, I'm just so.." Kat was at a loss for words. "What are you afraid to say? Kat you can say anything to me babe. Don't you know that?" Isaac asked. "I'm learning. Isaac I'm just so afraid, I mean your Mom was happy that we said we loved each other but marriage. What if they don't approve?" Kat asked. "We'll deal with it if it happens. Kat this isn't about Mom and Dad, the fans, my brothers, the band or anyone but you, me and our baby, that's all that matters Kat, the three of us." Isaac shared. "How do you always know what I need to hear." Kat said hugging him tight before they made their way downstairs to breakfast, Isaac giving Zoe a piggy back ride. After breakfast, Kat and Isaac joined his parents for a walk through the woods. "Let's rest a minute hun." Kat said looking very uncomfortable. "Babe what's wrong?" Isaac asked. "My back is sore all of a sudden." Kat said. "Here sweetie." Walker asked. "Oh that's the spot. How'd you know?" Kat asked moaning at the touch of his hands. "Because that was my biggest complaint. Kat, try leaning against Isaac. Yeah like that." Diana shared. "Here son rub right here, push harder going down." Walker instructed. "You listen to him, he's a pro." Kat teased, adding, "You're pretty good at this yourself. I'm feeling better." "Maybe we better head back." Isaac suggested. "But we.." Kat started to argue, "Oh never mind. Let's head back like you said, I have lots to do." Kat insisted. "Kat Masterson stop this. But we what?" Isaac asked. "Isaac I must have been mistaken is all, no big deal." Kat answered coldly. "Babe don't do this, Kat help me understand. Talk to me babe." Isaac pleaded. "Umm you know what we were talking about earlier and I was worried how your Mom and Dad would react." Kat whispered. "Oh Kat you probably think I changed my mind but I didn't. I just got scared about you not feeling good is all. Babe you sure you feel good enough? There's a bench up ahead. We could talk there." Isaac suggested. "Hun I'll be fine, I have you." Kat insisted and he led them to the bench, sitting and pulling Kat onto his lap, rubbing her back. "Do you two have any idea what a great job you've done and are doing raising your children. I don't think I've ever met anyone more well mannered, compassionate as your children. Even as young as Zoe is and as limited as her vocabulary is, I can already see the same traits in her as her elder siblings. Avie last night told the baby how sorry she was that it's daddy died without it ever getting a chance to meet him. Zac at the Country Club took on this obnoxious jerk, you know the kind all muscles and no brains. He was convinced that his mission in life was to totally disgust me and he was doing such a good job of it when Zac stood up to him for me without being asked. He said it was the right thing to do, think nothing of it. He has no idea what that gesture meant to me. But this one, I find him to be the warmest, kindest soul I've ever met and I've fallen madly in love with him. I sort of gave up on life after everything that had happened, I really didn't care. If it hadn't been for the baby, there were times..." Kat stopped as a tear broke free as her eyes glassed over and the pain was suddenly there. "Kat you're not alone. Let me help you." Isaac pleaded hugging her tight. "Kat tell me what you're feeling? Talk to me." Isaac begged and the sincerity in his voice broke through to her and she turned to him her eyes reminding him of deer's eyes in a headlight beam. "Kat don't think about it. Those times are done and you'll never be alone again, I promise you." Isaac assured kissing the top of her head as she laid her head on his shoulder. "Kat didn't tell you that, I asked her to let me help raise the baby. Mom, Dad I asked Kat to marry me before the baby is born. The world isn't going to care about the truth, they are all going to assume the baby is mine. It'll make it easier on Kat, she won't be asked it as much if she marries me now. Don't ask, no that's not the only reason, I love Kat more than anything. Remember all the times Gramma would tell us a true, meant to be love was out there and not to settle for anything else. Well I had to look a long, long time to find her but I did, Kat is my true, meant to be love." Isaac explained kissing Kat deeply bringing a warm, loving smile to her face. "We're being realistic, I've put a lot of conditions on our relationship, I'm a package deal and I've sort of made it impossible for Isaac to think what if, he just has to. Like I said you've done such a great job, I believe him when he promises to be there for me, that I'm not alone anymore. What he doesn't understand is how much I love him for being the man he is and I understand that the man he is has a lot to do with you, his family, and I know how important it is that you support him in this. He's already told me that the only thing important is the two of us and the baby, not you guys, the fans, the band. I know that he'd do anything for me, but I can't let him do that, I need you guys to approve of our decision and if you can't, I love him enough to give him up." Kat explained. "No we agreed, you said you'd marry me and I'm holding you to it." Isaac insisted. "Isaac I said I'd marry you after we met with your attorney. Well I'm telling your folks now that if they don't agree, all they have to do is talk to your attorney and he'll put a stop to it." Kat explained. "You can't mean this. Kat don't do this." Isaac pleaded. "Hun where's that faith we had going, you know this is so meant to be." Kat asked. "Yeah you're right. I just panicked there a minute." Isaac said kissing her sweetly. "Hun I've a gazillion things to get done. I need a ride to a car dealership to get us wheels and a bank, to transfer funds. I need a cleaning crew busy on the house. Oh and I need to tell you that I love you and I have to either enroll the girls in school or register them for home school. Man I'm going to be busy, so busy." Kat rattled on. "Well let's get to that you need to tell me that you love me part." Isaac teased. "Of everything I listed, you think we ought to start with that huh?" Kat asked. "Oh yeah that's important." Isaac insisted. "Oh if I gotta." Kat teased. "Yeah you gotta love me, it's meant to be." Isaac teased. "Isaac Hanson, I love you more and more everyday. You've filled my life with such happiness and joy. I'm so afraid you don't understand how much you mean to me Isaac, how much I truly love you." Kat shared caressing his face, kissing him tenderly. "Yeah Kat I finally got it through my thick skull that you love me, not the fact that I want to raise your baby." Isaac replied. "Good you listened this time." Kat teased, adding, "Hun we better head up, someone's up and bound to start using my bladder as a trampoline again." "Let's get you to a bathroom. Mom, Dad we'll talk later, we have to go get a doctor first." Isaac announced. "Oh I forgot. What would I do without you." Kat asked wrapping her arm around his waist as they headed up to the house. They had a busy day starting with the girls' purchase of a black Ford Expedition and then they went their separate ways, the guys to the Mabee Center and the girls to the bank, then to a furniture store to decorate the house. At noon they met at Rex's Boneless Chicken for lunch, as the entire family joined them. After lunch they headed to the old house where the workers had everything cleaned except the garage where they had moved all the MOE merchandise. "Boy did we luck out, everything we selected should work just fine. But we forgot about the game room though." Chele shared and it was decided that Chele, Tay, Jessy and Zac would head out to take care of outfitting the game room. Walker and Isaac headed out to rent a new warehouse for MOE and Diana helped Kat decide where the furniture should go while the kids played in the backyard. The furniture arrived and Kat and Diana had their hands full trying to keep up with the six delivery men, "Thank god you're back." Kat exclaimed as Chele and Jessy took over for Kat who plopped down in a recliner as soon as it was put into place. As soon as the mate was delivered, Diana plopped down ordering Tay and Zac to take over. Like radar, Zoe found her way to Kat and cuddled on her belly as the two napped in the midst of the noise and confusion. "Babe wake up. Kat you need to wake up, we have to go." Isaac whispered, kissing her sweetly. "Isaac you're back. Did you find a place?" Kat asked. "Yeah babe, even have trucks on the way to move it yet today. Kat we have an appointment with my attorney in half an hour." Isaac informed her as he carefully lifted his baby sister and placed her with her mother. He returned to Kat, helping her to her feet. After a quick trip through the house and a stop in the bathroom, they loaded up and headed to Isaac's attorney's office. Kat nervously sat in the waiting room next to Isaac, wishing she hadn't suggested a way for his folks to stop them. "Kat relax babe everything will be okay." Isaac whispered. "Isaac how do you always know when I need you?" Kat asked. "You know I'm in a room without seeing me and I know when you need me without being told." Isaac explained bringing a big smile to Kat's face as they were led to the attorney's office. "Isaac so nice to see you. I heard from your parents. This must be Kat?" he greeted. "Kat Masterson I'd like you to meet Dennis Miller our attorney. Dennis this is my fiance Kat." Isaac introduced. "Congratulations Isaac she's absolutely lovely. Kat congratulations, you've got yourself one special fella." Dennis said. "I know how lucky I am to have found such a special man. Now I need you to tell me how to avoid causing him grief because he happened to fall in love with me." Kat started then explained her situation. "First I have to say how incredibly strong you must be to have put up with such reprehensible behavior. I see Isaac has found someone as special as he is. My gut reaction is to name Isaac as the father, but let me research this. I'm assuming you will be honest with the child when he or she can understand." Dennis shared. "Of course, the baby's father died of cancer before his life really began. Not sharing that fact could be a life or death decision, I couldn't live with." Kat exclaimed. "Oh, before I forget, I mentioned I had spoken with Walker and Diana, they said to tell you welcome to the family Kat. They'd be proud to have you marry their son and I can understand why now." Dennis shared then offered his services in arranging a quick quiet ceremony. "How quick and how quiet?" Kat and Isaac asked almost in unison before laughing. "Not quick enough from your responses.. Let me get things rolling. Dr. Miller please, his brother Dennis." he said after dialing the phone. The attorney made arrangements for them to see his brother for the physicals for the marriage license, "Be back here tonight 6 or 7, what do you prefer?" Dennis asked. "Tonight?" Kat gasped. "Six, the sooner the better." Isaac answered. "Six it is, you two to my brothers now and bring me back the completed forms." Dennis said getting the show on the road. "Isaac dial Taylor or Zac's number, I need the girls." Kat asked. "Tay you got Chele nearby, Kat needs to talk to her. Umm, Tay, first is Mom and Dad there, I better talk to them first." Isaac commented and shared with his parents the 6pm wedding. "We have things to do, can't be standing around yammering to you. Son, congratulations. Here's Chele, she's crying so tell her not to expect too much." Walker said putting Chele on. The girls talked about the perfect outfits from a recent photo shoot and Chele agreed she and Jessy would head to the MaBee Center to retrieve them from the semi trailer. Kat and Isaac were in and out of the doctors office in twenty minutes but had to wait an hour while the blood work was delivered to the lab and the result were returned. Kat persuaded Dr. Miller to take her on as a patient because of his winning personality. "Well as long as your here and I have fifteen free minutes, let's see how baby Hanson is doing. Julie if you could take our little mother back and get her weighed and measured, test her for glucose and the get her into our latest line of gowns, the paper and then Dad and I will find her." Jerry ordered. By the time the first prenatal visit including an ultra sound, was completed, the results were back from the lab and Kat and Isaac were on the way back to the attorney's office with the necessary forms and Isaac headed downtown with Dennis to sign the necessary forms.They returned to find Kat asleep on the couch in the attorney's office. "Babe. Kat wake up." Isaac whispered kissing her lightly. "Isaac. I guess I nodded off again." Kat said stretching and yawning then taking Isaac's hands for help to her feet. The two headed home, "What is that smile about. Isaac you're up to something." Kat inquired. "Nothing. Can't a guy be happy on his wedding day." Isaac asked. "Yeah right. You are up to something, it better be something I want or you're in trouble." Kat warned as they headed to the rest of the family. Kat stood back beaming as Isaac pulled out the picture of the baby and shared. "Kat the baby looks very healthy dear, you've done such a good job of caring for him/her, I can't tell." Diana exclaimed. "I don't care as long as it's healthy." Kat shared. Chele and Jessy took the three girls for dresses to please Kat. Isaac took Mackie for a new suit while Kat was ordered to rest. The girls woke Kat at 5 to help her dress and at 5:30 a limo arrived with Diana and the girls to help Kat finish dressing, before making the ride to the lawyer's office. They arrived at 5:55 and by the time they were directed to the conference room, Isaac had begun to pace. "Are you practicing for our next adventure." Kat teased entering the room. "Kat" Isaac gasped as cameras flashed catching the look on his face. "Get him Daddy." Kat teased. "I said him not me." Kat said laughing. The ceremony was short and quick and after signing the necessary forms, the family headed to dinner. Walker had made reservations for a private room and invited the close family to help celebrate. Isaac was elated, on cloud nine and Kat was too overwhelmed to venture too far from his side, as she met his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousines and a few close friends. "Chris you made it. I really didn't expect to see you. Thanks for coming." Isaac said and Kat quickly turned and smiled at a familiar face. "You move fast little lady. Smart move, marry your boss, should do wonders for your career." Chris teased. "This is all your fault. Isaac if and when you decide this was a bad idea, you go after him. Singing your praises, telling me I'd never find a kinder man on the face of the earth. Then you did it, you said just look at him Kat. Man was I a goner, I couldn't take my eyes off of him and then he noticed and here we are pregnant out to here and married three hours." Kat teased. "Then I have you to thank for the best thing that's ever happened to me and things can only get better." Isaac shared wrapping his arms around Kat and caressing the baby. Walker announced that Chele and Jessy would return home with them leaving Kat and Isaac alone in the house for their honeymoon. Chris and Walker took off to get the photos developed to select some publicity shots to announce Isaac's secret. It was also decided that at the Saturday night Concert at the Mabee Center, Isaac would share his secret with the hometown crowds and introduce his wife, before announcing it to the world. As they closed the restaurant, it was decided to meet at the Hanson's house to view the pictures and Ike, Tay and Zac wanted to discuss the concert. After helping to get the kids to bed, Kat packed for Isaac then headed out to find him to report what she had done. "I hope you're sure about all of this. Kat may not appreciate it and if she gets pissed at you, Jessy will get pissed at me." Zac said. "And then Chele will get pissed at me and I don't need help, I can piss her off pretty good all by myself." Taylor admitted. "So are you a risk taker, dare devil, husband of mine of what a little over four hours." Kat said announcing her presence. "I'm not telling you so torture away. It remains a surprise wife." Isaac answered. Walker and Chris returned with all the pictures, a set for the family and a set for the newlyweds. "We've got to go. Dad you and Chris decided, I trust your judgment. Kat has to get some sleep, she can hardly keep her eyes open." Isaac announced and they thanked everyone and headed to their house.
