It's Time

Part Seven

"Isaac what do you think you're doing?" Faith squealed. "I told you, you look too hot to keep my hands off. Pardon us a minute David." Isaac said raising the partition. "A minute, all I get is a minute." Faith teased. "Now yeah. It was a figure of speech but you want to broadcast it to good ole Dave and a minute is all you get" Isaac warned. "Yeah like you can stop. Show me big guy. You think you're he man, show me the minute." Faith challenged. "Faith you're impossible when you're like this." Isaac shared. "When I'm like what?" Faith asked. "You can be so pig headed." Isaac answered and Faith sat there quetly just staring at him. "Faith? Come on baby, talk to me." Isaac pleaded to break her silence. "I'm sorry I really don't feel like talking right now." Faith said quietly without emotion. "Baby I'm sorry. You're not pig headed." Isaac apologized. "That's nice." Faith replied lowering her eyes, grabbing her sweater and slipping it on, fumbling with the buttons. "Here, let me?" Isaac asked and she turned to him. "Faith it's not cold in here, are you okay?" Isaac asked. "I don't know, I thought this was because I was bleeding and I'm not anymore. Isaac what's wrong with me?" Faith answered with fear in her eyes. "I don't know babe, we'll get you a doctor and find out. Don't worry everything will be okay." Isaac answered lifting her to his lap, kissing her tenderly before she laid her head on his chest. "Man now I'm hungry and my tummy hurts." Faith complained. "Here I got you these just in case." Isaac said digging his hands in his jacket pockets and pulled out an assortment of snacks. "Oh Isaac you're so good to me." Faith answered selecting a couple of things, opening one and eating it, adding, "I'm sorry I give you such a hard time. As good as you are to me, seems like I'd treat you better." "You treat me just fine babe." Isaac replied as she opened another snack and the car pulled up to the gate then to the house. "Welcome home Mrs Hanson, Mr Hanson." David said opening the door. "Thank you David." Faith answered taking his hand and crawling out, adding, "We're having birthday cake later if you care to stick around." "Cook's cake, of course I'll stick around." David answered as she made her way to the front door. "Half hour to spare. Maybe I'll change into something less hot." Faith said as they headed to the door. "Let me change you? Get back here wife." Isaac insisted picking her up in his arms. "Not with the threshold again." Faith teased kissing him deeply as the doors flew open. "Surprise! Happy Birthday!" they all screamed as Isaac noticed the look in his parents eyes and let go of Faith who wasn't paying attention and let go of his neck and tumbled to the floor. "Faith. Baby I'm sorry, are you all right." Isaac asked kneeling beside her. "No don't you pick me up, you'll drop me again. Ouch." Faith said rubbing her butt as Zac offerred his hand and she took it, moaning as he pulled her to her feet. "You okay sis?" Zac asked. "Faith what's wrong?" Isaac asked. "Umm you dropped me for starters." Faith snapped at him, quickly adding, "I know you didn't mean to and I didn't mean to snap at you, but my butt really hurts." "Baby I'm so sorry." Isaac apologized as he wrapped her in his arms kissing her deeply. "I love you so much." Faith said caressing his face. "Faif, Faif." Zoe squealed racing her way. "Hey my littlest sister." Faith greeted as Isaac whisked her up in his arms and they both kissed all over her. "Faif, birdday cake." Zoe squealed. "Did Cook make me a birthday cake?" Faith asked. "Mmmm" Zoe answered rubbing her belly. "On no did you leave us any?" Faith teased and everyone laughed. "Happy Birthday Faith. We bought you a present." Avie shared. "Oh sweetie that's so nice of you." Faith replied hugging her. "So what did Isaac get you?" Jessie asked. "He took me some place really special. We had a blast, I didn't want to come home we were having so much fun." Faith shared. "You look happy. Especially for someone who just got dumped." Taylor greeted kissing her cheek. "Oh no he did, he dumped me." Faith teased and they all laughed except Isaac. She made her way back to him slowly, obviously in pain, "You didn't laugh, it was for real? You dumped me?" Faith whispered. "Never. I'd never consider it." Isaac insisted kissing her deeply again and holding her tight. "I know hun. I love you." Faith replied kissing him deeply. "I love you two too." Isaac whispered causing Faith to smile. "Welcome home. Dinner is ready. Dear what's wrong?" Mrs Goodrich asked. "My fault Mrs G, I accidentally dumped her on her butt." Isaac confessed. "I'll be okay. Especially in here." Faith said turning to face her while caressing Isaac's arms which held her. "Well someone said she was hungry before I dumped her on her butt." Isaac said. "Then it's a good thing dinner is ready." Mrs Goodrich said leading them to the dining room. "Who are you and what did you do with Faith?" Isaac asked watching her devour her meal. "I'm still hungry." Faith admitted and Walker rang the bell. "Yes sir?" Mrs Goodrich asked. "Tell her Faith." Walker said. "I'm still hungry, please?" Faith asked lifting her empty. "Hallelujah. Give me that plate, of course there's more. Boys?" she asked and received so man more please that she brought out a cart and made her way around the table, beginning with Faith. "Marriage agrees with her sir." she whispered to Isaac causing him to smile. "Yes I agree Mrs G" Isaac said loudly before leaning to kiss Faith. "My food. You got your own." she snapped. "My kiss and I'm taking it." Isaac teased leaning the rest of the way and kissing her. "Mmm you taste good." Faith teased finishing her second plate. "That was delicious Mrs Goodrich. Thank you." Faith said as she returned to clear the table for the birthday cake. "Mrs Goodrich I invited David to join, would you ask Charles to let him know and then the two of you join me also. It wouldn't be a birthday without the three of you." Faith asked. "Certainly Ms Faith. We love you child and would be honored to share your special day." Mrs Goodrich answered smiling big with a sparkle in her eyes. "I think we need a little dinner entertainment. Join me Tay?" Faith asked rising slowly. "Babe I'm so sor.." Isaac started to say as Faith turned back, pressed her lips to his. "I know so let's just drop it." Faith said immediately laughing at her poor choice of words. "Oh rub it in." Isaac teased back. "Got to go sing with your brother. Zac did you think more about you guys' own company?" Faith asked heading to the grand piano as Taylor began playing. "Yeah Sis. I'm serious. Did some good researching, I know we can do this." Zac said moving into her chair and talking to Isaac as she and Taylor sang 'With You In Your Dreams', 'More Than Anything', and 'I Will Come To You'. Suddenly the lights were turned out and Taylor began playing Happy Birthday and everyone sang as Charles wheeled in her lit birthday cake. "Put them on the table." Isaac whispered to Zac. "Here Dad take these." he said softly as the cake was wheeled to Faith. "Make a wish." Jessie and Avie said. "Wow that's a hard one, see I finally got what I wished for last year and I can't imagine anything better than this." Faith said taking Isaac's hand. "I know what I'll do. I'll wish for something for all of you." Faith said wishing for acceptance from all of them before blowing out the candles. "Oh my." Faith gasped when the lights were turned back on and the huge pile of presents on the table was visible. "Isaac? Did you do this?" Faith asked. "I'll take the fifth." Isaac answered and started laughing. "You're gonna need it." Faith teased . "Oh boy, you're in trouble now." Walker teased laughing heartily. "You'll still back our little venture even though you're mad at him, right Sis?" Zac teased. "Babe they're mostly the presents we bought earlier for the family." Isaac explained. "Good. You done good." Faith exclaimed hugging him, whispering in his ear, "You are so good at this husband stuff." "It's easy, because it's you." Isaac replied kissing her deeply. While the cake was being served Isaac handed out presents and squeals of joy, thank yous and sighs were heard until "Oh My God. I don't believe this. You didn't? How could you?" Diana asked staring at their wedding photo before glaring at Isaac then Faith, adding, "My Lord it's true." "Diana what is it?" Walker asked making it to her side. "How beautiful. You said it must be true. They didn't have time to fly to Paris. That call I received asking if one of the boys had gotten married, it was true." Walker remembered before glaring at Isaac, adding, "How could you not tell us? Include us?" "Faif preddy." Zoe squealed taking the picture and running to Faith. "Yep that's me." Faith said when she shared the picture. "Isaac what a terrible way to find out. Hun you knew we put it in the present bag so it didn't get broken." Faith shared. "Faif preddy. Faif happy." Zoe shared. "Yeah my littlest sister. Marrying your brother has made me very happy." Faith explained. "Oh Faith you're my sister now." Jessie squealed. "Oh Isaac this is wonderful." Avie said hugging him. "Thanks Sis. I think so." Isaac replied hugging her big, lifting her up. "Way to go man. Don't take a chance on her getting away." Zac said hugging him and slapping his back. "I wasn't about to go anywhere." Faith insisted. "When you said you wanted to marry her I thought you meant, some day. Ike I couldn't be happier for you. It's just meant to be." Taylor said hugging him then Faith. "Son I can't say I'm thrilled with the way you handled this but I do believes It'sTime. Welcome to the family Faith." Walker said hugging Isaac then Faith as Diana rushed from the room. "Hun go after her." Faith suggested. "Excuse me sir, Mrs Hanson asked to go home now sir." Mrs. Goodrich shared. "No. Oh Isaac what have we done." Faith gasped almost in tears, turning to the chidren. "Come on. Pack up your things. It's time to go." "No we want to stay and party." Jessie argued. "Daddy we want to stay." Avie explained. "Girls please. Your Mom is upset that Isaac and I got married without telling anyone and right now is uncomfortable being here and wants to go home." Faith explained. "Faith dear, she doesn't mean to hurt you." Walker exclaimed. "I know. Actually we expected you, Taylor and Zac to have the same reaction. We got married because we're meant to be together. Meant to love each other forever and a day. We accepted that and getting married was the next step. It's my fault, I didn't want to wait. I've been alone for so long, since my parents died. Without them I felt I didn't belong anymore. When I found Isaac, I felt I had a purpose, I belonged." Faith shared then whispered to herself, "This is all my fault." "Faith she'll get over it, don't blame yourself. " Zac insisted. "You're so sweet to say so but until she does don't push her, all of you. Promise me you won't push her." Faith pleaded. "Okay Faith. We'll be extra nice to her." Jessie offered. "That's my sister. Promise you'll call me and tell me the scoop on the latest hotties." Faith asked. "Oh Faith, you're a married woman now." Jessie teased. "Oops I forgot." Faith teased hugging her tight. "My turn." Avie squealed and hugged her. "Me gets a turn too." Mackie insisted pushing Avie out of Faith's arms and sneaking in. "Whoa. How'd you get in there?" Faith asked. "Avie done. Me turn." Mackie answered. "Well then give me a hug." Faith insisted as Charles and Louise appeared to help pack up the children. "Sir we're very sorry the Mrs. is upset. I'll fix breakfast in the morning and have David deliver it say 8. Early enough sir." Mrs. Goodrich offered. "That's not necessary." Walker shared. "I want to sir. It's the least we can do. Maybe that will give you more time to help the Mrs understand that your Isaac is meant to love Miss Faith, pardon me, Mrs. Faith." she answered. "Eight would be fine, thank you. Keep an eye on my son for me." Walker asked. "Our pleasure sir." she replied as they all headed out. "Here Zac, take Zoe, I don't think your Mom needs to see me right now. Bye everyone, remember be extra nice to your Mommy while she's sad." Faith said hugging and kissing them all goodbye. "No me Faif. Faif Daddee." Zoe cried. "Bye my littlest sister." Faith said kissing and hugging her again. "Wait. Here take the left over cake for the children." Mrs Goodrich insisted. "Me cake." Zoe squealed. "You got over me fast. Geez girl you could have pretended I was as good as Mrs G cake." Faith teased causing everyone to laugh as they made their way outside. The pain on Diana's and Isaac's face was more than she had prepared for, "What have I done." Faith gasped. "You married the man of your dreams. Just keep reminding yourself sis." Taylor said, adding, "You have any problems with the old man, call me." "Taylor promise me you'll help him. This is hurting him, look at him. Maybe he should go home with you guys." Faith suggested. "God Faith it's your wedding night." Taylor exclaimed, adding, "No he belongs with his wife. Of course I'll help him. He's still my big brother and my best friend." Faith watched as the family loaded into the van, closing the doors as Diana began to look around and Isaac returned to the house. "Faith." Isaac said hugging her desperately. "I'm sorry this is hurting your mother and you." Faith said kissing and hugging him back, adding, "Isaac maybe it would help her if you went home with them and talked things over and helped her understand." "Tay told me you said that. I didn't believe him though. Faith you sure you don't mind if I go with them?" Isaac asked. "I'll be waiting for you no matter how long it takes.I love you Isaac, help her understand that." Faith said kissing him deeply, adiding, "Now go before I change my mind." "No wonder I love you so much. I'll be back as soon as I can." Isaac said kissing her tenderly before turning and leaving as Charles and Louise returned from saying their goodbyes. The minute Isaac was out of sight, the smile left her face and Faith raced up the stairs to her room flinging herself across her bed, crying herself to sleep.
