"Man, he's driving me crazy. You can't even talk to him without him jumping down your throat." Taylor complained. "I know what you mean. I asked if he was going to that party Mom asked us to go to at the Youth Center and he goes into this 'What's the use. It's all a lie anyway.' talk. Man I've never heard him so down and did you see this." Zac responded pulling out Isaac's journal, adding, "Start from the back, total gloom for half the book." "Man is he bummed. I've never known him to stay down this long." Taylor complained as they headed downstairs to find their mother in deep discussion with their oldest brother. "I'm sorry you feel that way, but I'm asking you to do this for me. I expect to see all three of you there, this is important to me. If we raise enough we'll be able to set up the Youth Arts program, every child will be able to experience the Arts no matter what their station in life." Diana explained and the guys agreed heading up to dress for the event. "We're leaving now, Isaac dear I expect you to see that your brothers get there, I'll be looking for you. Dear I'm so sorry you feel this way. You just have to believe, have a little faith." Diana said as the family headed out. "Come on you two, Mom awaits. We don't have to stay but we have to make an appearance." Isaac called out. "So what we going to do after we show our faces, smile sweetly and shake a few hands?" Zac asked heading down the stairs, adding, "What's with all the black. Man you're even dressing depressed." "Back off Zac, just let him bum if that's what he wants." Taylor insisted heading down after him and the three made their way down town Tulsa. "There you are boys, Marjorie over here. You remember the boys?" Diana asked. "Mrs. Williams it's nice to see you again, I'm Isaac the oldest. My brothers Taylor and Zac." Isaac introduced taking Mrs. Williams hand. "Thank you boys for coming, I'll introduce you after the next performer, if you'll excuse me." Mrs Wiliams said making her way to the stage. "Thank you that was lovely, just lovely. Again that was the Miss Debbie Dance Troupe. Next I take pleasure in presenting our next performer. She hasn't been in Tulsa since she was ten when she traveled abroad to study because Tulsa could no longer challenge her talent. The sorrow I felt having to send her away, she is my Faith and I proudly present her to you today, Faith Diamond." Mrs Williams said as the lights dimmed and in the single spot stood a striking blonde, hair piled high, dressed in a long black jacket, "Thank you Tulsa it's nice to be back home and Thank you Mrs. Williams. I'll never forget the day as an angry four year old, I had packed my bag to run away. I was faced with the fact I couldn't cross the street alone so on the way around the block, I was drawn to the beautiful sounds coming from your house and sat on your porch listening until you finally noticed me and welcomed me in and introduced me to the love of my life." she said. "I'd like to repay that kindness today and play for you. To my inspiration, thank you for showing me the way." Faith finished drawing her violin from behind her back and played the most enchanting tune but at the end or what they thought was the end she unbuttoned her jacket and slipped it off her shoulders revealing a gorgeous body in skin tight black satin pants and a matching tube top. Next she pulled the pin from her hair and shook it loose before exchanging for an electric violin and rocking the place. "My god look at that. I never knew a violin could sound so great." Isaac said his eyes glued on her as her performance brought the place to life. "Thank you, thank you very much. In honor of my inspiration, Mrs. Williams, I'd like to donate to such a worthy cause, the youth of our community." Faith said handing Mrs. Williams a check, "Oh my dear. This is just wonderful." Mrs. Williams gasped. "Well I figure, I wouldn't be performing if it wasn't for you so besides performing here, I'd like to donate the pay for a performance and offer a challenge of matching the next five donations made." Faith challenged, adding, "Well Tulsa let's see those check books." "I'll, we'll take some of that action." Isaac hollered pulling a check book from his inside coat pocket, waving it in the air. "There's a daring soul. What's with the rest of you?" Faith asked swinging her long blonde hair back and suddenly checkbooks were waving everywhere and they lined up to donate. "Taylor, Zachary would you mind joining your brother. Tulsa your hometown favorites, Isaac, Taylor and Zac, Hanson!" Mrs. Williams introduced. "Oh my, I'm a fan. You guys are so talented." Faith declared shaking Zac's hand and smiling big. "You rock yourself. You blew my brother away, this is probably going to be expensive." Zac said introducing Taylor, "Nice to meet you. I really enjoy your music. I've worn out quite a few of your cd's." Faith admitted shaking his hand. "Thanks we're are instant fans of yours now that we've heard you. Isaac come here man." Taylor said introducing his brother. "Thank you for standing up and starting things." Faith said kissing his cheek and hugging him lightly, adding, "Hope I can talk to you guys later." Faith said as she mingled with all those making donations, working the room like a pro. "Just what we needed Marjorie. Look at her. Do you know she just convinced the Mayor to have the City donate the land as a matching donation for raising the funds to build the building." Diana announced before turning to her sons. "Thank you for coming, I know you did this for me and I appreciate it. It's fine with me if you take off now." Diana explained. "Nah. That's all right Mom, like you said it's a worthy cause." Isaac said not taking his eyes off of her. "Faith, what a lovely name. Just what the mother ordered if I remember correctly." Diana whispered hugging him. "In my dreams Mom." Isaac mumbled. "Son don't be so down on yourself." Diana insisted. "Hey man. She didn't kiss me and I'm adorable." Zac shared. "She kissed you?" Diana asked, taking his hands, adding, "You didn't tell me and I was so busy I didn't see it." "Mom it was a gratitude peck on the cheek. Look at her she's gorgeous. What would she see in me?" Isaac asked and walked away. "Oh Isaac." Diana moaned as Taylor and Zac headed after him. "I"m for sticking around. Why don't we go shake a few more hands." Taylor suggested. "You know, the stage is set up and you put your guitar in the car, we could sing something. She said she was a fan." Zac suggested. "She's a fan?" Isaac asked. "Yeah man she said so. She was like blown away when Mrs Williams introduced us." Zac shared. "And you blew her away by standing up and donating and getting things going." Taylor added as Isaac headed out for his guitar and he and Zac offered to perform. "We are in for a treat. In appreciation for the efforts by my little Faith, Hanson, 'With You In Your Dreams' Isaac, Taylor and Zac. Take it away guys." Mrs. Williams introduced as Faith squealed and quickly made her way to a seat up front, only to be offered her violin, "Care to join us?" Isaac asked. "Me? Me play with Hanson?" Faith gasped. "Yes, you play with us." Isaac teased, extending his hand. "Oh who could resist that offer." Faith answered taking his hand and stepping on the stage, taking the violin from him and joining them. They were so well received, the guys were trying to figure out what to play, "If I may, my favorite." Faith asked and played a haunting introduction of 'More Than Anything' and the guys joined in. "Man Faith, we're recording a new album. Come put down a few tracks with us?" Taylor asked. "Great idea bro. You are fantastic." Zac said making his way to her side, hugging her. "Okay. Enough with the suck up, what is it you really want?" Faith asked wrapping an arm around Zac as Isaac walked off the stage. "Serious Faith. We sounded fantastic together. Say you will, record with us Faith." Taylor asked. "Umm guys, I don't think it's a unanimous decision and I'm not into causing trouble." Faith answered looking towards Isaac and then heading off in the other directions. "What was that about?" Zac asked. "Don't ask me? Man they're perfect for each other, they're both insecure ." Taylor mumbled watching Faith put away her instruments. "Excuse Faith, Diana Hanson. You are so talented and what you did, donating, matching donations, egging everyone on, getting them to donate. Dear, I'd like to invite you to dinner to express my gratitude and I won't take no for an answer." she insisted. "Excuse me Mrs. Hanson I'm not sure if that's a good idea ma'am. I, I don't think all of your sons would appreciate. It's not necessary Mrs. Hanson, I was so impressed wth the concept of your program, I couldn't help but do everything possible to insure it's success. If there is anything else I can do, please let me know. If you'll excuse me ma'am I made it into town just in time to stop and buy this outfit and make it here. I use my carry on space for my instruments and the lugguage was so slow I just left it." Faith said heading to her purse pulling out and cellular phone and moving near the windows. "How can you not have my reservation. Great welcome home, not." Faith said walking back to her bag and pulling out an address book and dialing to arrange for a room. "Excuse me my mother asked me to give you a ride to the airport to claim your luggage." Isaac shared, adding, "I'm sorry I didn't see the phone." "It's okay, I'm on hold. Are you sure you don't mind, Mom probably didn't ask, she insisted?" Faith asked, excusing herself to talk on the phone arranging for a room, "Things are looking up. Now your offer of a ride, are you sure?" she finished. "Yes I'm sure, only thing is my brothers want to come along." Isaac shared. "More the merrier I guess. Isaac if you don't want to take me you don't have to, I can call a cab." Faith said looking at the floor. "No it's fine by me, really. Mom didn't tell me, she just mentioned you needed to go to the airport to claim your luggage, honest and the guys don't have to tag along." Isaac argued looking at the floor. "We make a great pair." Faith giggled. "What?" Isaac asked. "I'm sorry I giggle when I'm nervous, it's just I looked at the floor and now you looked at the floor. Seems like if we can get up in front of thousands and perform, we should be able to talk one on one." Faith suggested, adding, "You're nicer looking than the floor. God I can't believe I said that, how forward of me. I, I." "You're looking at the floor again." Isaac whispered. "God I'm so embarassed." Faith gasped. "Not me, I'm so honored you're embarassed." Isaac whispered. "Faith, here's your jacket, are you cold?" Isaac asked as she began to tremble. "Umm a little." Faith answered finally raising her eyes and finding the warmest brown eyes drawing her in causing her to feel protected and cared for, a feeling that had been missing from her life for years. Isaac helped her on with her jacket , buttoning it up tight before rubbing his hand up and down her arms, trying to warm her as she finally sighed and smiled at him, "Better, thanks. I'll take that ride if you don't mind." Faith asked. "Let's go." Isaac said grabbing his guitar and her two violins as she grabbed her bag and his arm, saying their goodbyes, "We want to go?" Zac asked. "It's fine with me Isaac." Faith answered turning to him. "Good you guys can carry these, I'll take her." Isaac answered wrapping an arm around Faith and leading her out to the car. They loaded up and made their way to the airport, claiming her luggage but finding the car rental agency counter closed. "Well I'll have to wait for wheels. I was going to buy one anyway, tomorrow is a good time. Isaac?" Faith explained. "What Faith?" Isaac replied. "I'm hungry, I was so busy changing planes, rushing to buy an outfit to be on time to perform." Faith explained as Isaac pulled into McDonald's. "You guys want something?" Isaac asked and pulled in and parked and they all headed in. "I feel a little overdressed." Faith complained, "Here you wear my jacket, you won't seem so formal." Zac said helping her out of her jacket and slipping on his, rolling up the sleeves as Isaac walked up behind her and lifted her long blonde hair up and out of the jacket. "Feel better now?" Zac asked. "You're a sweetie for being a little brother." Faith said and they headed in ordered and took a booth as Zac and Faith raced ahead sitting across from each other as Taylor slid in next to his brother leaving the seat next to Faith empty. Isaac arrived with the food handing things out as Zac shot the first paper wad at her, landing on her chest as Faith rolled her eys at Isaac who leaned towards her plucking up the paper wad, "Sorry hun. Guess I shouldn't have brought the child." Isaac explained kissing her on the forehead before sitting at her side and became the next victim. "He sure is handfull." Faith whispered, plucking the paper wad from his cheek then kissing it as Zac's aim improved hitting Isaac's lip. Faith once again plucked the paper wad from his lip then leaned into him gently pressing her lips to his and they both sighed. "I'm starved." Faith said and they all started eating. "I agree with my brothers, it would be awesome if you'd record a couple of pieces on our next album. I think you'll like a couple of the new numbers." Isaac shared. "Are you kidding, I'd record just to get a preview of the next album." Faith admitted. They discussed their recording schedule, "If you come to the house we can run through the songs and see what you think." Taylor suggested. "Your Mom invited me to dinner but I put her off, I didn't think you liked me and I didn't want to make you uncomfortable in your own home." Faith whispered. "What? I thought you'd never like me so I, man this is weird. Both of us thinking the other one didn't like us." Isaac whispered in her ear. "You walked away, I just figured it was because of me." Faith whispered. "It was sort of. I looked at you, babe you are so beautiful Faith and I just figured I didn't have a chance with you, and you were getting along so well with my brothers, I couldn't face you is all." Isaac confessed in a whisper. "Because I'm beautiful, Isaac how could you think I'm that shallow? Did I say something, do something?'" Faith pleaded to know. "It wasn't you, it's just , well, you, you're perfect, such a vision." Isaac insisted gazing at her. "Where'd you just go?" Faith asked caressing his face. "Man I just get lost in your beauty." Isaac moaned. "Oh yeah, Hun I've got a nose, two eyes, two lips, two ears just like anybody else." Faith insisted. "Ahhh but it's what you do with it." Isaac insisted. "I give." Faith conceded, hiding behind him leaning her head on his shoulder. "Isaac?" she whispered. "Yes Faith." Isaac asked. "Now that you fed me, I'm getting tired." she moaned. They finished up, loaded up and headed to the hotel, got her checked in. "I need this one, it's got my jammies in it, I hope. " Faith said yawning, explaining, "Man I haven't slept in almost two days." Faith share grabbing a paid of jammie bottoms and a tank and headed to the bathroom as the guys put away her suitcases. When she returned dressed for bed, "Here take this, I'm gonig to sleep until you get everything ready and come get me." Faith said giving him the room key. "Late morning okay?" Isaac asked. "Real late, yeah." Faith answered, adding, "Night Tay, Zac. Thanks for giving me a hand and I'll see you tomorrow." "Great, see you tomorrow then." Taylor said grabbing Zac's arm. "Night Faith see you tomorrow." Zac said heading out the door. "Night." Faith said. "Well you best get to bed and I'll see you in the morning Faith." Isaac said as Faith tugged on his hand and headed to the bed, slipping under the covers, "Tuck me in." Faith pouted as Isaac leaned towards her, tucking her in, "Sweet dreams Faith, see you in the morning." he whispered, kissing her lightly. "Night." Faith said yawning, taking a deep relaxing breath and closing her eyes and drifting off to sleep. Isaac watched her sleeping, "Like Mom said, have a little Faith. It's time for Faith." he whispered bending to kiss her goodbye. "Isaac." she moaned, smiling and turning towards him before cuddling back into the pillow. Isaac stood watching her before finally turning and heading home.
