As promised Isaac took care of Alexandra and the baby, never leaving her side. He researched every drug before they gave it to her for effects on the baby. Alexandra had been right in asking Walker to deal with the police. Isaac's fear of losing her left him with little compassion for his lifetime friend. He insisted on Jean being held responsible, *If Alexandra dies I'll never forgive her.* Isaac argued. *Son put yourself in her shoes.* Walker suggested. *It'd be a relief compared to what I'm facing. She thinks it's so bad that I don't love her. She can go on. If I lose Lex....* Isaac shared suddenly speechless at the possiblity as he turned back to her kissing her gently before sitting by her side. As always he kissed her belly before laying his head down gently. *Okay in there?* Isaac asked before he gently stroked her belly. *I swear her belly is getting bigger.* Isaac whispered as the tears fell. *That's a good sign dear.* Diana said moving to his side and hugging him. *Yeah it is, isn't it?* Isaac said rising, wiping his eyes with his sleeve. *Lex I swear your belly is growing. I better buy you some bigger jeans or you'll have nothing to wear.* Isaac teased kissing her cheek, adding, *I love you Lex.* *How's she doing today?* Chele asked entering the room followed by Taylor who made a beeline to his father, handing him a note. *Have you seen them? Blew me away.* Taylor said making his way to Isaac. *Seen who?* Isaac asked. *You don't know. Come here man.* Taylor said motioning to the window. Taylor pulled back the curtains, *Oh dear Lord.* Isaac gasped looking down below at the fans. *They've surrounded the entire Hospital. Hand in hand praying together for Lex.* Taylor shared visibly moved. Then from below came the strains of 'With You In Your Dreams', *I don't believe them. We are blessed. All the times we moaned and groaned at the screaming, the grabbing and they do this for us. Lex you won't believe it.* Isaac said returning to her side describing what he'd seen. *Mom, Dad we're going to stay a while. We brought Isaac something to eat. Why don't the two of you go home and relax.* Taylor suggested. *Grampa is suppose to be here soon. He called as we were leaving.* Chele added convincing them to head home. *Any word yet?* Chele whispered and Isaac just shook his head no. *They ran more tests this morning but I haven't heard.* Isaac replied. *She looks so peaceful, it has to be getting better. Don't you think?* Taylor asked. *Yeah she does look peaceful. Hmmm I can't put my finger on it but something is different.* Isaac shared. *Maybe that's because the swelling has stopped and she's appears to be getting better. At this time Isaac, if she continues to improve I see no need for surgery.* Dr Green declared. *Way to go Lex. Did you hear? You're getting better babe and they won't have to operate. You can keep your long hair.* Isaac shared kissing her before caressing her hair. *Hear that Lex. Keep it up and you'll be home in no time.* Chele shared kissing her cheek. *Way to go Sis. Who da Wo- Man.* Taylor teased kissing the end of her nose. *What's all this?* Grampa Lawyer asked entering the room. *She's getting better Grampa.* Isaac shared and the doctor explained what would happen next. *Just keep talking to her as if you expected her to respond. Now that we've stopped the drug, she should awake within the next couple of days.* Dr Green shared explaining what to expect. To pass the time Jessy and Chele read all the e-mails and cards Lex received to her over the next few days but nothing. *She should be coming out of it. Why doesn't she wake up?* Isaac asked. *Have you been up all night?* Jessy asked as she and Zac entered early one morning. *Sort of. I was working on a song.* Isaac answered with a yawn. *Why don't you take a nap and I'll read to her while you do.* Jessy said. *Here's a good one Lex, listen.* Jessy said before reading, 'Dear Alexandra. I've been a fan of yours since your first movie and when you got married to a member of my favorite band I about flipped. It's like my favorite star marrying a member of my favorite band, how awesome is that. Lex.* Isaac said as he woke to listen to Jessy read the part about him adoring her. *Isaac.* Alexandra mumbled. *Yeah Lex I'm here. I do adore you.* Isaac replied kissing her tenderly and she moaned. *Lex I love you.* Isaac said again kissing her deeper causing a louder moan. *Come back to me Lex. I need you so.* Isaac said kissing her again, longer and harder as her body began to react to his touch. *Isaac.* Alexandra said clearly. *Alexandra Hanson I love you.* Isaac replied kissing her passionately. *Isaac. I love you.* Alexandra said in a whisper as she raised a hand reaching out for him. *I'm here baby.* Isaac said taking her hand in his and placing it to his lips. *Lex wake up. Can you wake up Lexy? Mommy is starting to wake up so she'll be talking to you soon. She loves you like I do.* Isaac said to her belly smiling as he felt Alexandra's hand caress his hair. *Talk to the baby Lex.* Isaac suggested. *Baby Hanson.* Alexandra mumbled. *Hear that Baby Hanson.* Isaac repeated kissing her belly again as Jessy returned with the doctor. *So you think she's waking up huh?* Dr Green asked. *Man she was reacting to Isaac until she said her head hurt and back she slipped. He's got her talking again though.* Zac explained. *What do you mean reacting to your brother?* Dr Green asked. *Isaac kiss you wife again.* Zac prodded and Isaac kissed Alexandra passionately causing her to moan and caress his hair. *Ask her to wake up Isaac.* Dr Green asked. *Lexy. Babe wake up. Come back to me.* Isaac asked kissing her tenderly. *No I said it hurts.* Alexandra replied turning away from him, curling into a ball. *Babe I'm sorry. It's just I miss you so much.* Isaac confessed laying his head on her shoulder. *Excuse me nurse could you come in here?* Dr Green called out as he stepped into the hallway. *Yes Dr Green.* the nurse asked and the doctor ordered all the tubes and wires to be disconnected motioning the three to join him in the hall. *Isaac I've been concerned about the amount of time it's taken Alexandra to come out of the coma. I agree with the other friend, Chele, that the fact Alexandra's lifestyle was one where she didn't rely on drugs to alleviate pain and that she probably is much more receptive to any medication. Regardless, the most important thing right now is for her to waken from this deep sleep. As you showed me, she isn't going to do it because of the pain but her reaction to your embrace may be our answer. I've ordered the tubes and wires removed to make her more comfortable and also to make it easier on you.* Dr Green explained. *Easier on me?* Isaac asked confused. *Yes Isaac easier on you. I'm going to ask you to go in there and make love to your wife if that's what it takes to get her to come out of the coma, her reaction to you. What do you think?* Dr Green answered then asked. *I think I'm no fool. I'll take any chance I can to make love to my wife. Doctor's orders. Who'd figure.* Isaac chuckled. *Go in there and make us proud bro.* Zac teased. *Go rock her world Isaac.* Jessy added. *Oh stop smiling and get in there.* Dr Green said as the nurse reported she had done as ordered. As he stepped back in her room, suddenly it was nothing to tease about. *Lex I love you so much. You have to come back to me. I can't imagine going on without you.* Isaac confessed as he sat by her side gazing at her, touching where the wires had been connected then leaning down and kissing the spot. *Hey baby it's me daddy. Mommy is fighting waking up that's why she isn't talking to you. She would if she could.* Isaac explained while kissing her belly. *I love you for this Lex.* Isaac said caressing her belly. *Baby.* Alexandra whispered. *Yeah Lex a baby. I still don't believe it. You are having my baby. We are so blessed.* Isaac gasped at the thought of her never waking up. *Isaac.* Alexandra said loudly with such compassion as she stroked his hair. *Lex I'm so scared.* Isaac confessed turning into her hand and kissing it. He was so thrilled when she began to slowly caress his face, following the outline before tracing each feature. When she reached his eyes and felt the tears, *Don't be.* Alexandra whispered. *But I am. I am so afraid of losing you.* Isaac replied, speaking into the palm of her hand then kissing it. *I won't leee.....* Alexandra began to reply suddenly flinching in pain. Isaac felt as her body relaxed and she slipped back into her deep sleep. *No don't leave me.* Isaac gasped rising and taking her in his arms, repating, *Don't leave me. Lex I need you, don't go.* Isaac kissed her deeply panicking at first when he didn't receive any response from her. Just as he was pulling away, he felt her lips move engulfing his. He kissed her harder, his heart racing as she returned his passion and moaned softly. *Don't fail me now lips.* Isaac thought as he kissed her again with all the love he held in his heart for her. Instinctively his hand began caressing the shape of the woman he loved. Thoughts of their love making raced through his mind, *Lex I want you so.* Isaac moaned as he untied her hospital gown and quickly removed it tossing it aside before his hands raced crazy with desire over her body. *Isaac.* Alexandra moaned as she kissed him deeply her tongue finding his dancing wildly as her hands began to undress him. *Lex I need you.* Isaac moaned as her hands caressed his body. *Isaac love me.* Alexandra finally asked. *You sure baby. I'll wait forever to love you again. Alexandra Hanson I love you with every part of me. You are my life.* Isaac confessed. *Then love me Isaac.* Alexandra pleaded. Isaac slowly and passionately made love to her, feeling her come alive. *Isaac.* she screamed at the height of their passion. *Yes. Just what the doctor ordered.* Dr Green said proudly as he, Zac and Jessy smiled at each other. *Is she all right. Did you hear that?* a nurse said rushing in their direction as Zac instinctively stepped in front of the door to Alexandra's room. *Yes we did nurse and I would say she is fine about now.* Dr Green replied. *Oh Zac.* Jessy whispered hiding in his arms. *Hey you two, I didn't write any orders for you.* Dr Green teased. *That's okay. We don't follow orders too well anyway. Do we Jessy?* Zac teased. *Zac.* Jessy squealed. *You do hate getting up early though Jessy.* Zac teased again. *Zac Hanson shut up.* Jessy squealed again. *Sorry babe. I shouldn't tease.* Zac apologized hugging her tight and kissing the top of her head. *No you shouldn't.* Jessy pouted leaning back, looking up at the sparkle in his deep brown eyes. *Zac? What are thinking about?* Jessy asked as she watched the shock on his face as he realized she was watching him and the sparkle disappeared. *Umm don't get mad at me Jessy but I was thinking of waking up with you in my arms. I think I'd like that Jessy.* Zac confessed suddenly filled with doubts. *Why'd I go and say that? What if she doesn't think about our future. She's more a live for the moment...* Zac was thinking as he heard. *Can't you imagine it Zac. Sometimes I just sit and dream about what it will be like when you finally make love to me.* Jessy interrupted. *You do!* Zac gasped. *Yeah Zac. I think about us together all the time. Don't you?* Jessy replied with such hesitation suddenly worried that he doesn't think of them lasting as a couple as tears began to pool in her eyes. *Yeah Jessy I do. I just wasn't sure if you did. I mean sometimes I worry that...* Zac began saying and suddenly couldn't utter the words. *What Zac? What do you worry about?* Jessy asked raising her hand, placing it gently on his cheek, caressing it softly. *It's just... Jessy sometimes I worry that you don't love me as much as I love you and that... Jessy sometimes I worry you're going to stop loving me and leave.* Zac finally got out. *That's not funny Zac.* Jessy said irritated at the thought, gasping, *How can you think that?* *I just do okay.* Zac grumbled defensively. *No it's not okay. This is all my fault. I'm sorry Zac.* Jessy choked out before hiding her face in her hands collapsing to his chest. *Don't cry Jessy. You know how I hate it when you cry.* Zac said trying to comfort her. *Yeah Jessy what's wrong with you.* Jessy sputtered pushing away from him, wiping her tears with the back of her hand as she marched to the opposite side of the hall, leaning against the wall fighting the tears avoiding eye contact. *Jessy you know that's not what I meant.* Zac apologized walking her way. *Just keep your distance.* Jessy barked. *No I don't have to if I don't want to and I don't want to.* Zac replied sticking his tongue out at her. *Oh real childish.* Jessy grumbled. *Yeah we make a great pair don't we.* Zac replied. *Well I never.* Jessy huffed before looking at Zac who was making silly faces at her and she began to laugh. *Jessy you know I didn't mean it like that. I don't think you're a cry baby. You know it kills me when I know you hurt enough to cry. I just want to take you in my arms and make it all go away. I guess I get stupid when I realize I caused you to cry. I'm sorry Jessy.* Zac confessed. *Zac don't you know how much I love you? How could you think I'd ever leave you?* Jessy asked. *Yeah I know you love me Jessy but...* Zac tried to reply. *No buts Zac. I love you with every part of me. I can't wait for the day when we can make love to each other. I dream about it all the time Zac. You and me together forever loving each other. It's all I pray for.
