"Excuse me Miss. You'll have to move. You can't park there." A security guard informed her. "Please I need to see Tim McGraw. He has to help me. You see my cousin is dying." Jessy explained to deaf ears. All he was interested in was Jessy moving her and her car. It was the first of many such encounters. First the parking lot, then outside the venue, the box office where she found it was 'Sold Out' and even with a scalper. "You want how much? For that I get an evening alone with Tim right?" Jessy screamed bringing the attention of Security once again. "You. Please if I give you twenty bucks will you just go away." the Guard pleaded. "Not for twenty. You get me in to talk to Tim or Faith for just five minutes and I'll go." Jessy suggested. "Should have gone for the money. Now you can leave for nothing." the Guard insisted. "Excuse me. Unless you own this place you have no right to ask me to leave. You sure don't seem rich enough to own this place." Jessy answered defiantly. "Fine. I'll ask you to return to the other side of the barricade." the Guard insisted and Jessy headed back. As the Guard turned his attention to another fan, Jessy snuck off again, hoping to find a way to reach Tim or Faith. "There he is." Jessy squealed heading in the direction of the singer exiting a limo. Her squeals brought the attention of Security, "Not you again. How many times do I have to tell you?" Security barked. "Just let me ask him? I know him. He'll remember me." Jessy pleaded as the Guard was now joined by two others. "Chicken. Gotta call for help." Jessy complained as the three surrounded her. "Now Miss will you leave on your own?" the Guard asked. "Never." Jessy squealed dashing off in the direction of the limo. "Sorry not on my watch." the Guard said grabbing her arm as another guard moved in. "Move it little lady." the second Guard ordered reaching for her hat. "You touch the hat and you die." Jessy warned, explaining, "Tim McGraw touched this hat and your grubby mitts better not touch it or I'll deck you right here." "Real funny Miss. Now move it." the second Guard ordered still reaching for her hat. "You all heard me warn him not to touch the hat? You heard me tell him that if he touches my hat he's going down?" Jessy asked. "Just calm down. Noone needs to get hurt." the first Guard said trying to get the situation under control. "What's going on Joe?" Tim McGraw asked. "Nothing Mr McGraw. A fan intent on seeing you sir." the first Guard answered. "So it's Joe huh? Well Joe you're in a bunch of trouble once I do get to him." Jessy warned, shouting out, "Tim. It's me. We met in Allegan, at the Fair before you got so popular. You signed the butt of my jeans then swatted me with my hat. Remember?" "That's a good one dear." Faith teased. "Sorry hun but I did. She was just a kid though." Tim explained, adding, "Joe please bring her here if her name is Jessy." "Told you. You're in trouble now Mr Try And Touch My Hat." Jessy declared. "Sorry Jessy. Really sorry about your cousin too." Joe apologized. "I just hope they can help me. I don't know what else to do. Oh, and I'm sorry too. I'll make sure they know you did your job extremely well." Jessy replied as Joe escorted her to Tim and Faith. "You remember me." Jessy gasped. "You've grown up but I'll never forget that smile. How are you Jessy?" Tim asked. "Still madly in love with you. Oh excuse me wife. It's nothing personal but he sure is something special." Jessy exclaimed turning Tim red faced and getting a chuckle from Faith. "Darn. I was so sure I hated you. You know you married him when all the rest of us dreamed of it." Jessy admitted. "I know sweetie. I get that all the time." Faith chuckled, adding, "I'm glad you don't hate me for it." "You gotta be nice if he married you. Despite the Bad Boy appearance and attitude, he sure is a nice guy." Jessy shared. "Very perceptive young lady. It's a good thing I did marry him or I would have to worry about you." Faith shared. "I hate to bother you but I'm in over my head and I just don't know how to make it happen, and she's getting worse. I'm so afraid she's going to die before I can get her the only thing she wishes for." Jessy blurted out as the tears started to fall. "Who's dying?" Tim asked and Jessy shared her story. "I mean I've been everywhere handing out this flyer and nothing. Somebody has to know them you'd think. I just don't know what else to do. When I called their label, I got absolutely nowhere. They treated me like some psycho fan. I guess I should do some research into the band. I mean being a huge Country fan, especially you guys, doesn't help me much. I really hated to bother you but if there is anything you can do. Maybe your agent knows somebody in the Rock World?" Jessy asked grasping at straws. "We'll do whatever we can Jessy." Faith replied. "Is there anything else she likes, that we could do while we're waiting to find Hanson for her?" Tim asked. "Nah. She's real stubborn about this Hanson stuff. Sort of like I am about you. Thanks for everything. You're as nice as I remember. You do know I outgrew those jeans." Jessy explained before pausing, then asking with a chuckle, "Do you think you could sign my butt again?" "Only if I get to sign it too." Faith teased back. "Well." Jessy squealed and they both signed a back pocket of her jeans before Jessy said her goodbyes explaining the need to get back home. About fifty miles south of Tulsa Jessy couldn't stay awake anymore and pulled into a Rest Area for a short nap. A short nap that turned into a full night's sleep. When she woke her car was surround by semis whose drivers were doing the same thing, catching a little sleep. "Whoa. I'm not the only one who got tired." Jessy mumbled and searched the back seat for her backpack, hoping there was a change of clothes in it. Jessy headed into the restroom to wash up and change. "What was I thinking?" Jessy mumbled looking at her image in the mirror. "Oh yeah, this is the outfit I wore on our first date and when we went to breakfast, I changed into a pair of jeans. Wish I had the jeans now." Jessy answered herself straightening her clothes and heading back to her car for the rest of the trip home. "What on earth. Hey excuse me. Excuse me. What is that about?" Jessy asked pulling into the parking lot of the Mall where she saw a large group of people marching with 'Hanson Meets Lucy' signs. "Well there's this girl and she's like dying you know, but before she does her dream is to meet Hanson and she's like gonna. Here you know." the girl answered. "Oh my God it happened." Jessy gasped. "Hey you're the girl with the flyers. Hey who has the newspaper picture?" someone screamed above the noise of the crowd. Soon a poster with the picture of Jessy in the McDonalds Drive Thru handing out flyers appeared. "It is you. Jessy. Jessy" they chanted. "When is this happening?" Jessy asked, learning that anytime now Hanson was suppose to arrive but that her Aunt Kathy and cousin Lucy were already inside and everyone was looking for her. "Everybody and their brother must be here." Jessy mumbled parking way, way, way out back. On the walk up to the Mall, the whistles and cat calls were about all she could handle. "Get a grip girl. Don't let it bother you. They're just Neanderthals." Jessy thought to herself wishing there had been something other than the mini skirt to change into. "Man Hanson most be popular. There sure are a lot of people here." Jessy mumbled as she entered the Mall. The noise was deafening. There were people, mostly young girls, everywhere. "I'll just die if I can get to Taylor." one girl said. "Taylor. Sheesh open your eyes girl! Zac is the hottest Hanson now. Just get a look at that body. Puberty was kind to him." another girl responded. "He may be the hottest but I heard he had a girlfriend." someone added and was soon booed and taunted. All the way through the Mall it was the same comments, over and over and anyone who mentioned Zac having a girlfriend was treated rudely. "No I swear it's true. I know Ashley Greyson and last time we talked, Ash said Zac met the girl of his dreams. She's new in town so it had to be fate that brought them together. Ash said it's what fairytales are made of. He said the two are madly in love with one another. Zac is definitely off the market." a girl insisted. "Poor Lucy." Jessy gasped as the girl finished drawing attention to herself. "Hey I know you. You're the girl with the dying cousin." someone squealed pointing at Jessy. "Yeah it's me. Is it true what you said?" Jessy asked still shaken by the news. "Yeah. I really know Ashley Greyson and he said Zac is madly in love with this gorgeous blue eyed blonde. Naturally." the girl answered picking up her brown locks and holding them out straight. "Oh you're a fan of his too?" Jessy asked. "Yeah, Nah. Yeah, Nah. I can't make up my mind. Zac, Tay. Well I guess I don't have to huh? Zac isn't up for grabs so I'm after Tay." she screamed and everyone around her chanted "Taylor, Taylor". "Jessy. Jessy." Taylor yelled from a nearby store. "She must not hear you over the crowd. "Brat's Jessy." Taylor shouted and immediately Jessy started looking around for the source of the one thing she believed, she was Brat's Jessy. "Hey." Jessy squealed noticing the guys waving her over. Jessy made her way through the crowd. "Mom, Dad this is Jessy." Taylor said as she entered the store and was soon facing a big, bald guy. "Jason it's okay. That's Jessy. You know the Girlfriend." Isaac explained. "Well thank you Beavis. Hey Butthead." Jessy said kissing each cheek while she looked around for the Brat. "Where..." is all she got out. "He's out looking for you Jessy. Where have you been? He's been worried sick. We got home late last night and he called and everything. He's been worried for days. You havent written or returned his calls." Taylor said sternly. "I know. I know. I'm sorry. It's just been too much. I told him. Now you're all mad at me." Jessy replied and started to cry. "Jessy we're not mad. Don't cry. Man he's gonna kick my butt for making you cry." Taylor said wrapping her in his arms. "Sweetie don't cry." Walker added. "I can't help it. I've had a rough couple of days. Man I almost got myself arrested trying to make this happen and it already has." Jessy explained before sobbing. "No cry pretty lady." Mackie insisted. "Well who are you?" Jessy asked pulling away from Taylor. "Mackie." he answered adding, "You to pretty to cry. I'll make it all better." "Oh you're just like your brother. Aren't you the sweetest thing." Jessy declared bending to his size, caressing his face before kissing the end of his nose. "And who are you?" Jessy asked the precocious toddler, adding, "You are just beautiful." "Her Zoe." Macking introduced. "Zoe huh? That's a very beautiful name for a very beautiful girl. Do you think I could pick you up?" Jessy asked and Zoe immediately lifted her arms to be picked up. "Do you mind?" Jessy asked turning to Mr and Mrs Hanson. "Of course not dear. She doesn't like too many strangers. She must know you're part of the family already." Diana answered as Jessy swept Zoe into her arms. "You hug almost as good as your brother. Thank you Miss Zoe, I needed that." Jessy squealed hugging and kissing her. "She don't like strangers but she sure likes you." Avery remarked as Zoe started to giggle. "Man that's the truth Jessy. Zoe must know how special you are." Isaac insisted. "Don't try and butter me up Beavis. You still owe me big time for interrupting our first date." Jessy teased. "He not Beavis." Mackie said over and over tugging on Jessy's skirt hem. "Mackie. Son don't. Well son I don't think it's a good idea... Mother you tell him." Walker said flustered. "What? Oh he doesn't mean it that way. Walker you old fool." Diana chuckled. "Gees Dad. He's only a kid. Give him a break. Now me." Taylor added before laughing soon joined by everyone but Mackie who was looking more and more hurt with each laugh. "Sweetie they're not laughing at you. Don't think that." Jessy said bending to his size and hugging him before he cried. "Why they laughing lady?" Mackie sniffled. "Well you see they're big boys and think like big boys and when you pulled my skirt, they thought like a big boy and it meant something else to them. That's why Daddy was asking you not to. But I know you're a sweetheart and only wanted my attention. I know he's not Beavis Mackie but that's sort of a Nickname I have for him. You see he's Beavis, he's Butthead and your other brother is the Brat." Jessy explained hugging him gently. "You learning the letter 'B'. We already did 'B' huh Mommy?" Mackie replied. "Wow you're ahead of me huh?" Jessy responded hugging him again as the crowds outside started chanting "Jessy. Jessy." "Maybe it's gonna start. I better go. Man I haven't been home in almost two days. I wonder how Lucy is?" Jessy worried handing . "Jessy you can't go yet..." Isaac called after her. "Now we're in trouble. We were suppose to tell her who we were. Zac is going to kill us." Isaac said watching Jessy disappear into the crowd. "Well prepare to die, here comes the Brat." Taylor said pointing in the opposite direction. "Your Jessy is quite lovely." Diana called out to her son as he entered. "Where is she?" Zac asked looking around. "She's out there. Oh man." Isaac sighed, "Zac we didn't get a chance to tell her. She was all over Mackie and Zoe and before we could tell her. Well you hear them." Taylor explained pointing to the crowds. "Thank You Tulsa." Jessy said making her way to the stage. "Quiet down. Everybody this is my cousin Lucy. She's what this is all about. Lucy is a major Hanson fan. I don't quite get it but this isn't about me. Anyway, I just want to say that as a newcomer to town, the people of Tulsa are Great!!!" Jessy screamed and the crowds went crazy. "Quite a little promoter there son." Walker said wrapping and arm around Zac. "Yeah she is." Zac agreed, his eyes glued to Jessy. "Well anyway, Lucy has been diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer. It seems God is low on Angels and she is awfully special." Jessy explained fighting the tears. "You all know the rest, Lucy has this burning desire to meet who?" Jessy asked. "Hanson. Hanson." the crowds cheered. "Man this is like Paramus." Isaac said covering his ears as the crowds screamed even louder. "You guys are good. Where's the Guinness Guys, I think you're louder than anybody else." Jessy teased as Lucy whispered in her ear. "Lucy tells me this reminds her of a Hanson Concert." Jessy screamed over the crowds and they got even louder as the sounds of 'Mmmbop' were finally audible. "I know this song. Is this a Hanson song?" Jessy asked and the audience screamed yes then sang louder as Jessy joined in. "You couldn't ask for a more perfect intoduction." Walker suggested. "But Dad Jessy still doesn't know who I am." Zac argued. "Son she'll understand. You weren't deceiving her." Walker explained. "No but Dad." Zac said with such worry. "Let me go first. She knows me as your father and they know me as the father of Hanson. Maybe it'll soften the blow." Walker suggested. "I hope it does Dad." Zac moaned as he watched his father make his way through the crowds. "Mr. Hanson." the crowd squealed as Jessy began searching for him. "Do you see him?" Jessy asked Walker as he neared. "Him who sweetie?" Walker asked stepping onto the stage near her. "Mr Hanson. They're screaming Mr Hanson but I don't see him." Jessy fretted. "You're looking in the wrong direction." Walker said and Jessy turned around, leaned to the side of him to look. "Looking too far now." Walker informed her. "Huh? Too far?" Jessy asked totally confused by now. "Jessy my name is Walker Hanson." Walker shared. "Nah. What? Can't be. That would mean..." Jessy mumbled not knowing whether to cry, faint, or scream. "Sweetie are you okay?" Walker asked a speechless Jessy who just shook her head no. "Jessy are you okay?" Lucy asked as her mother neared. "Jessy what is it?" Kathy asked. "I'm sorry. I didn't know Lucy. I didn't mean to." Jessy said totally confusing Lucy. "What did you do?" Lucy asked. "I can answer that." Walker said. "Hi Mr Hanson. It's nice to meet you." Lucy said extending her hand. "Hi Lucy. I've heard alot about you. You sure are brave sweetie." Walker said taking a deep breath. "What did Jessy do?" Lucy asked him. "I think she's referring to her boyfriend." Walker answered tentatively watching Jessy for her reaction. "Her boyfriend huh. She's madly in love with him. You know she came home one night just floating on cloud nine. When I asked why she was so happy, she told me she had met the father of her children and that someday she would marry him, they'd have a passle of kids and live happily ever after." Lucy shared. "Really. You know my son recently told me the same thing. Lucy my son, the one head over heels in love, and Jessy's boyfriend are one in the same but Jessy didn't know that until now." Walker explained. "What? Jessy's boyfriend is your.... Jessy you fell in love with Zac Hanson?" Lucy squealed. "I think so. I'm not sure. I know them as Brat, Beavis and Butthead. His name didn't matter to me. I love him that's all that matters." Jessy answered as the crowds went wild and Lucy's eyes got real big right before she started crying. "It's them." Lucy choked out turning Jessy around. She watch as the guys approached, "Hey Jessy. My real name is Isaac Hanson." Isaac said kissing her cheek. "Beavis this is my cousin Lucy. She's a major fan of you guys." Jessy said hugging him then introducing Taylor, "Lucy this one is Butthead. Remember I told you how he ruined our first date." "Hey Jessy, Lucy. You know you want to thank me for stopping you when I did." Taylor teased, adding, "Jessy this is my brother Zac a.k.a. the Brat." "Hey Babe." Zac whispered gazing deep into her brown eyes. "I've missed you so." Jessy whispered back as tears filled her eyes. "I've missed you too." Zac shared rushing to her taking her in his arms and kissing her passionately as the crowd gasped. "Oh oh. I'm in trouble now." Jessy teased. "You're the girlfriend?" someone screamed. "Yep this is her." Zac answered. "Jessy I can't believe it. You met Hanson your first day in town and you've been busting butt ever since trying to find them, all the while you're dating one of them." Lucy teased. "Yep that's me. Blonde." Jessy replied as Zac lifted her hair. "Hey you're blonde too." Jessy pouted lifting Zac's hair.
