"You're quiet sweetie, you okay about this?" Walker asked. "As long as I have you I am." Jessy whispered reaching over and placing her hand on his arm. "I still can't believe you're really mine too. Zac done good." Walker insisted moving his arm then taking her hand in his, holding it gently before lifting it to his lips and kissing it lightly. "I love you too Daddy. My life is so wonderful since I found Zac. I mean me... I had such a lousy exuse of a father and now I have two of the best." Jessy exclaimed leaning over and kissing the hand holding hers. "You are so good for Zac. I am so proud of the man he has turned into thanks to you. Your love has been the best thing for him sweetie." Walker shared. "It goes both ways Daddy." Jessy replied, adding, "There he is." "I know you can do this sweetie. You're right nothing is going to get better until you and Ken sit down and talk this over and learn to respect each other again." Walker suggested. "You sure are good at this Daddy stuff. I sure lucked out falling in love with your son." Jessy said kissing his cheek and opening her door, rising and walking towards Ken. "God Princess. Jessy. You look good baby. Your mother has been so worried." Ken said stopping a distance away. "Hey Ke.. Hi Daddy. How is Momma and the baby?" Jessy asked stepping closer. "Besides worried over you baby, she's doing fine, she and the baby are doing fine. They should be, she's eating like a horse." Ken answered. "That's good to hear. Umm Daddy about Zac, I still plan on marry Zac, we're closer than before, he's my life and my future so, um so I am his business. Everything about me concerns Zac. Can you understand that?" Jessy asked. "Yeah princess I can understand that. I didn't know that until you left and I saw what it did to him, how he changed. He really loves you princess." Ken said. "Yeah he does and I love him as much Daddy. We're going to get married and have lots of happy, healthy babies." Jessy shared. "That's nice Princess. Your mom and I will miss you, but it's a good thing. Jessy do you think you and Zac would still want to, you don't have to, but if you did you mother and I would love it, if you still wanted to building a house on the property somewhere. Jessy are you still going ahead with your wedding? I hadn't thought about that. How is Isaac and his wife Monica right? Jessy I didn't mean to hurt you, I can't believe this ended this way Princess, I was scared and just trying to protect you. I didn't know what else to do. The thought of that sick animal getting his hands on you sent such fear through me. The thought of losing you, I just panicked Jessy. I'm so sorry I did it because I love you so and the thought of anything happening to you drove me.." Ken stopped overcome by emotion. "I love you to Daddy, but you should have trusted me and just talked to me Daddy. Just talk to me." Jessy pleaded. "I know that now but you're my princess and I'm your Daddy and I'm suppose to protect you. Great job I did. I sent you running right to the maniac. It's a miracle he lost you." Ken proclaimed. "It wasn't a miracle Daddy, it was me remember you telling me how I had to be responsible for my safety when I'm not with you. Remember those talks we used to have? Well Daddy I listened and I was aware of what was going on around me and I knew I was being followed so I doubled back and lost him. It wasn't a miracle Daddy. It was you being my Daddy, loving me and teaching me to take care of myself. So thanks Daddy." Jessy explained. "Baby can you ever forgive me for being such a fool." Ken asked. "Hey don't talk about my Daddy that way, I love him and he's no fool." Jessy replied. "I love you princess and I pray you come back home soon, so we can love you and have you to ourselves before you marry that young man of yours." Ken pleaded. "I want that too Daddy but I can't leave Zac right now. I hurt him bad and I don't think he's ready to trust me with anyone else right yet. I hope you can understand that, Daddy. Zac is everything to me, I belong at his side and right now that's where he needs me to be." Jessy insisted. "I'm sorry Zac got hurt, it was all my fault and I hope he can forgive me someday." Ken confessed. "He's a pretty amazing person Daddy. He's had two great examples so I bet someday soon he can do just that but not right yet." Jessy shared. "I hope you're right Princess and he gives me a chance to get to know him." Ken exclaimed. "Daddy I've got to go but. Daddy could I have a hug before I go?" Jessy asked. "Oh god princess yes." Ken declared making his way to her gently wrapping his arms around her hugging her tight, kissing the top of her head. "I love you princess and I'm so sorry. Princess it will never happen again. From now on I ask Zac when it concerns you, and if I don't like the answer, I ask you before I do anything." Ken whimpered, holdiing her tight. "Smile you two, I've prayed for this and I know quite a few people who would want to see this." Walker proclaimed. "Walker thank you for being there for our Jessy. You've been a good friend." Ken said extending a hand then hugging him. "Hey Momma." Jessy said dialing her cell phone. "Hey my Jessy. How's my girl?" Barbara asked. "I'm getting better. Momma Daddy's late because I stopped him, we're still in the parking lot at school. We're going to be okay Momma but I can't come home right yet, Zac's not ready to let me yet." Jessy informed. "I can imagine baby, you take good care of him, he's special." Barbara shared. "I know he is Momma, very special to me just like Daddy is to you. You should let him know Momma. You know I don't think he quite understands you love us kids because you're our Momma and always will be but you love him because he's your someone special and always will be. For some reason I think Daddy thinks you love us more because we're your kids and you and I know that's not true. You love him more than anything like I love Zac. Maybe if Daddy understood how you love him more than anything then he could understand about Zac. See Daddy says he does because he knows that's what I want to hear Momma, but I want him to know what I mean. Do you understand Momma?" Jessy asked. "You're right baby. I'll help Daddy understand." Barbara agreed. "Thanks Momma. I miss you." Jessy shared. "I miss you too. Come home soon." Barbara asked. "I'll try Momma. Bye." Jessy said crawling into the front seat of the van. "Take care Princess. Come home to us soon." Ken wished standng beside her window. "I will Daddy. Bye." Jessy said kissing his cheek before he headed to his car. "Sweetie look at me." Walker asked snapping her picture. "Daddy what was that for?" Jessy asked. "Can we go to the mall?" Walker asked. "Will you buy me ice cream?" Jessy asked excitedly. "Yes sweetie, I will buy you ice cream." Walker answered. "Then sure I'd love to go to the mall." Jessy answered. They dropped off the film at a One Hour developer and headed out to explore the mall arm in arm, stopping for ice cream and a cookie before returning for the pictures. "Come here sweetie. You asked me what for when I took the last pictures of you. Jessy I didn't know how to answer so I thought I'd just show you," Walker announced and handed Jessy the pictures. "I see, I see what you couldn't put into words. The pain is gone, I look happy again." Jessy said. "Yeah sweetie, you look happy again. Let's go show Zac." Walker said and the two loaded up and headed to Grampa's and Zac. "Zac, Zac." Jessy yelled entering the house. "What Jessy? You okay?" Zac answered heading to the front door. "Zac. I love you so much." Jessy declared rushing to him throwing her arms around his neck and kissing him deeply. "Cool. Babe you look like things went real well." Zac shared. "Oh Zac. I'm so glad I went and talked to him. I called Momma too and you know what, I told her I couldn't come home right because my place was with you and she said she knew and I was to take good care of you because you're special." Jessy informed as a big smile came over Zac's face. "Now I see why you look so happy." Zac replied. "Yeah and Daddy asked if I was still marrying you in the back yard, that he and Momma would love us to get married there and build a house there still. And Zac.." Jessy said her eyes filling with tears. "Zac Daddy's sorry he hurt you and he hopes you can forgive him someday. He said from now if it's about Jessy he talks to Zac and he said if you two don't agree, he talks to me too." Jessy finished hugging him tight. "That's nice Jessy. I'm glad you went too." Zac said as Chele came through the door. "Sis?" she asked. "Huh? Daddy and I are okay but I told him I wasn't coming home yet because this hurt Zac and my place was at Zac's side and Daddy said he could understand that but he just hoped I'd come home before I married that young man of mine." Jessy shared. "Oh God that's great. Oh Jessy that's wonderful sis." Chele squealed racing her way. "Yeah that's wonderful. He asked if the wedding was still going to be out there and did we still want to build our house out there?" Jessy said hugging her tight. "You said Yes right?" Chele asked. "No. I told him I had to ask Zac. Sis, Daddy and I are okay but Daddy hurt Zac worse, I don't know if he can forgive him, trust him. Maybe Zac doesn't want that anymore. I wouldn't blame him. Could you?" Jessy asked. "No sis. I was there I saw what this did to Zac. I saw the way he looked at Daddy and I don't blame him. I'm so sorry Zac." Chele said hugging him. "I'm going to go tell Grampa hun." Jessy said heading to the living room finding Walker telling the family what had happened, "She told Ken that she couldn't come home yet, that all this had hurt Zac bad and that her place was at his side. Ken said he understood that and was sorry about hurting Zac and hope he'd find it in his heart to forgive him someday." Walker finished. "So my Grampa. Can you put up with me, us for a little while longer?" Jessy asked slipping onto his lap hugging him. "You know I love you here Jessy, you brighten up my life even when you are blue. You and that young man of yours can stay as long as you want." Grampa declared. "Grampa, that young man of mine is your grandson Zac." Jessy teased. "Oh I thought he looked familiar." Grampa teased back and the room laughed. "You always make me smile. I love you Grampa." Jessy said hugging him tighter. "I can't imagine loving you more even when you marry that grandson of mine." Grampa shared as Walker and Diana announced they were headed home to pick up the kids from Barbie. "Well Chele and I are headed home too. Grampa thanks for understanding about everything, you're really cool." Taylor said kissing his cheek and then Jessy's. "Bye sis." he said followed by Chele, "Grampa hogger." "Oh not again with the Grampa whining." Jessy laughed making way for Chele. "Make it quick young lady that's my lap." Diana said tapping her foot. "Again with the my Daddy whining. Sheeesh Grampa, I think you need an appointment book for your lap." Chele teased hugging him tight and saying goodbye. "Daddy have I told you how lucky I am that you're my Daddy. You are one cool dude." Diana said kissing and hugging him. Grampa, Isaac, Monica, Zac and Jessy stood on the front porch waving goodbye. "Isaac pull that car into the drive for the night. Girls, it's been a long day. Zac this one looks like she could use some hugging. What do you think?" Grampa asked. "I think you're really cool Grampa." Zac said hugging Jessy. "Hey Babe maybe we ought to go to bed early tonight. Like Grampa said it's been a long day." Zac asked. "I think you're awfully smart, but considering your heritage, you should be. Night Grampa, Mon. Tell your hubby goodnight for me." Jessy said. "Night everbody." Zac said taking Jessy's hand and leading her upstairs. "Aahhh" Jessy said flopping on the bed. "Tired babe?" Zac asked, pulling off her shoes.. "Not really tired just so, so, wasted. I've got all these emotions but nothing to deal with them with. Zac, hold me?" Jessy asked. "Of course I will babe. I love you Jessy." Zac declared. "I know babe and I love you too." Jessy replied snuggling into his arms falling fast to sleep. "Night sweetheart." Zac said kissing the top of her head.
