Zac walked around the house looking for a way to the second floor. He looked through the window to see Jessy dancing and singing along with the radio and tears filled his eyes at the thought she might not forgive him. Chele had been right, he betrayed her trust in him when he respected Ken's wishes. "God I need your help. I sure hope this is your plan, me and Jessy together forever. If it is I need you help, I messed up bad and I need you to help her forgive me. Amen." Zac said looking to the sky, adding, "Gramma I don't know what to say to her. How can I make her understand what she means to me? I can't live without her in my life there would be no reason, she is my reason. Without her nothing makes sense anymore. How can I tell her how much I love her and how I need her?" Zac asked tears running down his face. "You just did?" Jessy whispered. Zac looked down to see Jessy in the doorway just a screen between them as she opened that door. He stood there searching her eyes for the chance she may forgive him. "Jessy I didn't look at it as betraying you when I respected Ken's wishes. Honest babe I wouldn't do this to you, I love you." Zac said searching for acceptance. "But you did just that Zac. You knew better than anyone how crazy not knowing was making me, I depended on you and you let him, you let Daddy come between us. Why?" Jessy asked. "I was just being respectful of your father and my folks. I can't tell you how sorry I am but Jessy I didn't do it to betray you honest, I wasn't siding with his decision. He knows he was wrong and wishes he'd listen to me know. I wanted him to tell you straight out that Tony had lost it, gone psycho and threatened to kill you and that the cops screwed up and now he was out there with a gun thanks to them and his only reason for escaping was to kill you. Jessy I was afraid of losing you so I agreed with him is all. At least he was thinking of you and not Tony like the cops were. They were only worried about getting him back to cover up their stupidty and wanted to use you as the bait to do it. That's where your Dad was coming from, they had the gaul to ask him to let you be the bait to catch him. Turns out Chele and I were. Man I forgot about her. Jessy we gotta go the the State Police post, Chele went with them. She's there all alone." Zac said. "Zac slow down I'm lost hun. Oh Zac." Jessy said throwing her arms around him. "Jessy I love you, please forgive me?" Zac whispered choking back his tears. "Hun I didn't want to leave you, I just didn't know what else to do but run from what was hurting me. It didn't work. Leaving you hurt way worse, I really got sick from leaving you. Puked my guts out, over and over. Zac I hate to puke and that's all I've done since I left you." Jessy shared. "Me too babe. Until we figured out where you were, I did nothing but worship that porcelain goddess." Zac said, adding, "Babe we really have to go be with Sis. She needs you, she has to identify Tony and press charges against him. She's going to need us. Write a note to Monica and get some pants on and let's go be with Chele." Jessy raced to her room as Zac wrote a note for Monica. "Thanks for taking good care of her and for letting me know. We had to go to the State Police post, Chele is pressing charges against the phsyco that threatened to kill Jessy. We'll be back so I can meet you and thank you. Love Zac Hanson." and left it on the kitchen table facing the door. "Come on babe, what's the hold up? Babe don't cry, everything is going to be okay, maybe not the same but okay. Promise Jessy." Zac said holding her. "Zac how can I face them?" she cried. "By my side that's how. Right?" Zac asked lifting her face. "Right where I belong." Jessy said as he pressed his lips to hers and all the pain, the hurt, the sorrow disappeared. The kiss grew in passion and intensified as he drew her closer and moaned her name. Jessy wrapped her arms around his neck pulling herself closer. "Zac I love you" she mumbled into their kiss. "Thank god" Zac replied. "Man I forgot about Chele again, come on babe we have to go." Zac said as he withdrew from their kiss, takin her hand, leading her to Chele's car, opening the door for her and then got behind the wheel and headed back to the interstate to the State Police post south of town. They explained to the officer at the desk, showing identification. They were escorted to a small waiting area where they found Chele. "Sis" Jessy said. "You're safe. Sis I'm so sorry. I just couldn't go against Daddy even when I knew he was wrong." Chele said hugging her tight and they both cried. "You and Zac okay?" she asked. "We will be. Just like me and you. But watch out for Mon, she's hopping mad." Jessy teased. "She's been that way ever since you decided Tay and I belonged together." Chele said as Jessy dug out her cell phone and sat down to dial. "Come here hun." Jessy asked grabbing his shirt and and covering the mouth piece of the phone. "What?" Zac asked. "Ssshh. Isaac please?" Jessy asked. "Ike swear you won't let them know you're talking to me or I'll hang up." Jessy said. "Hey Sue. What's up." Isaac said. "I need your help big brother." Jessy asked. "Yeah I heard about that. Can't wait to." Isaac said. "Isaac you are so goofy. That's why I love you so. Zac's here with me. So is Sis. She's gonna need Tay big time can you bring him to her. Please." Jessy asked. "That's a good one. You do know I'm engaged right?" Ike said. "If you bring Krissy I'll run. She'd spill her guts so fast. You can't tell her promise." Jessy asked. "Man you make it hard to say no." Isaac said. "I love you for this." Jessy said and explained where to go. "Man Sue I got to get going. I promised my brother Taylor I'd run him into town. Maybe some other time." Isaac said. "Thanks bro." Zac said. "I love you too." Chele said and they hung up. "Thanks for the use of the shirt. I didn't think it should use mine." Jessy said wrapping her shirt around the phone and putting it to her mouth and flashing Zac. "Oh I like but I'm glad you didn't do it for the world." Zac said caressing her body then pulling her shirt back down and wrapping his arms around her, pulling her close. "Thanks for getting Taylor for me. I left him without saying a word, he's probably freaking too. Wait til he finds out Tony followed me." Chele said hugging the two of them. They waited and waited until they were starving so Jessy and Zac went and picked up something for lunch. They were still waiting when Isaac and Taylor showed up. "Taylor" Chele said rushing to his arms. "Why didn't you tell me. I was scared to death." Taylor said pressing his lips to hers pulling her closer. "Hun I didn't have time. I needed to get Zac to Jessy and if I had gone in the house to talk to you, they would have figured out. I'm sorry Tay, forgive me?" Chele asked. "Yeah, it was for Zac and Jessy. Hey sis, you okay?" Taylor asked. "Yeah, I'm joined at the hip again just like you." Jessy teased and they laughed. "Excuse me Mr. Hanson?" the officer asked. "Yes." "Yes" "Yeah" the three replied. "Um Zac Hanson?" the officer added. "Yeah. Na na na na na." Zac said teasing his brothers. "Sir there's a young lady with this note from you, looking for you and her sister." the officer said. "Monica I mean Veronica Boucher, show her back please." Jessy asked and the officer left only to return with Monica. "Mon" Jessy squealed as Chele hid behind Taylor. Jessy shut the door after she was in and started introducing, "Hun this is my older sister Monica which is her net name, and my name of choice for her. Sis this is Zac Hanson the man I'm going to marry." Jessy said as the two hugged and Zac thanked her again for taking care of Jessy. "Now this you know is Taylor Hanson and this lovely thing hiding behind him is his fiance and my big sis Chele. I hear you have a bone to pick with her. Mon before you do, put yourself in her place and Daddy looked you in the eye and forbade you to tell me. Oh remember you just packed your entire life up and moved in with him, fell in love with the man of your dreams and just got engaged and he was respecting your father's wishes for a little pressure." Jessy said. "Taylor" Monica said shaking his hand, adding "Hey Sis" "Mon I didn't have a choice you have to believe that. I had to hide my face from her because I would have spilled my guts and Daddy would have never have forgiven me." Chele said and the two hug. "I figured that out. I was just angry over how hurt she was is all." Monica said. Finally the detectives came for Chele to make a positive identification. "Zac explain it to him. I forgot we didn't tell him. Taylor I love you just remember that. More than anything I love you." Chele said kissing him and leaving with the detective as Jessy hugged Taylor and Zac explained their little adventure. "She'll be okay because you're here for her." Jessy said. "Man I guess it's a good thing you didn't tell Isaac I would have really freaked." Taylor said kissing the top of her head. "Forgive me then?" Jessy asked. "Yeah sis I can forgive you. The question is can you forgive everyone of us, Ken too?" Taylor asked and Jessy looked up at him and rushed into Zac's arms as Chele returned, "I'm done. Charges, Federal Charges, have been filed and we can go. I'm starved. They headed out Chele, Tay, Zac and Jessy in Chele's car following Isaac and Monica in Ike's truck.
