"Isaac dear I asked you where Andrea is and you didn't answer me." Gramma Bea asked in a voice that drew everyones attention. "You got to answer her man." Taylor whispered. "What do I say? I messed up the best thing that ever happened to me Gramma, Andy couldn't take it any more and split." Isaac mumbled his head hanging low. "Here she comes so you better decide." Zac whispered before continuing, "Gramma. Happy Birthday. You're looking good." Zac cut her off before she could reach Isaac, giving him a chance to decide what he'd tell her. "Thank you sweetie. Where's Andrea?" Gramma Bea replied, then added, "Oh there she is." "She is? Where?" Zac asked the surprise evident. "Coming in the door. Andrea sweetie over here." Gramma Bea called out waving at her. "What?" Isaac and Taylor asked at the same time. "You act like you're surprised. What is going on." Gramma Bea accused. "Nothing Gramma. Just we didn't expect her this soon." Taylor answered as they all turned looking Andrea's way. "Hey Birthday Girl." Andrea replied waving back. "Andrea." Grampa Lawyer gasped turning to see her. "Hi my Grampa. I'll explain later." Andrea whispered hugging him lightly before making her way across the room. "You look so pretty sweetie." Gramma Bea shared as she approached, adding, "Okay you tell me, why is everyone surprised to see you?" "Huh?" Andrea asked scrambling for an answer. "I said why are the boys acting surprised you are here?" Gramma Bea repeated. "Oh that. Well. I sort of got ticked off and told them I wouldn't be seen with them." Andrea replied. "Oh they'd know you were just kidding." Gramma Bea suggested. "Well maybe not if I stormed out. Left." Andrea replied in a whisper while looking at the floor. "You what!" Gramma Bea exclaimed. "I'm sorry Gramma I was just really angry and I didn't know what else to do." Andrea whispered. "Andrea you know nothing gets resolved if you run away from it." Gramma Bea lectured. "I know and I'm sorry." Andrea whispered finally look up at her. "Oh sweetie such a sad little face. Isaac. Clarke Isaac you come here right now." Gramma Bea called. "Yes Gramma." Isaac replied making his way to them his eyes glued on Andrea. "Young man." Gramma scowled. "I'm sorry Gramma. I really messed up this time." Isaac shared making his way to them. "Well fix it then. Look at her. Such a sad face." Gramma Bea shared, adding, "About as sad as yours. You two kiss and makeup now." "She may not..." Isaac tried to explain as Gramma Bea placed an arm around Andrea and moved her towards him. "I said kiss and makeup." Gramma Bea insisted. "I'm sorry Isaac. I never should have left. It didn't solve anything." Andrea confessed trying hard not to cry. "No babe I'm sorry." Isaac insisted slowly wrapping her in his arms, whispering into her ear, "Don't cry babe. Andy I'm so sorry." "You are? Isaac I didn't want to leave but I just didn't know what else to do." Andrea replied wrapping her arms around him tighter. "I'm sorry Andy. I didn't mean to... it just.. there's no excuse for me not listening to you. I guess I just assumed you'd understand because you loved me. You loved me right?" Isaac whispered pulling back to see her face. "No Isaac." Andrea replied shaking her head no, adding with a smile, "Not loved you. I love you Isaac. I have from the moment I met you and I will 'til the end of time. My loving you isn't the problem." "I love you too Andy." Isaac gasped wrapping his arms around her, pulling her to him. "I know you do. It's not that. It's me. I don't love me anymore." Andrea whispered as questions filled his eyes. "Now that's better right?" Gramma Bea asked. "Right." Andrea answered, kissing Isaac's cheek before turning in his arms to face her. "Yeah. Right." Isaac sighed hugging her tighter. "Such a happy face." Gramma Bea shared taking Andrea's face in one hand then kissing a cheek. "Hey this is suppose to be your day but thanks for making mine." Andrea squealed. "Andrea dear you look so beautiful." Diana said approaching the group, adding, "Happy Birthday Mother Hanson." "Thank you dear. Doesn't our little girl look beautiful?" Gramma Bea replied. "Mom. Sweetie." Diana said reaching them kissing Gramma Bea's cheek before kissing Andrea's cheek, adding, "I just love the dress Andy." "Thanks Mom. Isaac bought it for me. He is so good to me." Andrea replied. "I have good taste." Isaac whispered into her ear as his hands caressed her body in the dress he'd purchased. "Good choice son." Diana replied quickly adding, "Andy I tried calling to ask if you wanted to join the girls and I, we're going to the ballet on Monday night? Isaac just wouldn't share. Keeps you all to himself at times." "Really? I'd love to go. I hope I can still get me a seat near you." Andrea replied wondering if anyone here besides Grampa Lawyer knew what was really going on. "I already got your ticket. One for you too Mom." Diana shared. "A girl's night out huh? Count me in." Gramma Bea announced. "Andy. Andy. Did she tell you? We'll have so much fun." Jessie squealed making her way over followed by her sisters. "You look pretty Andy." Avery shared. "Thanks sweetie." Andrea replied bending to kiss her cheek. "Anny me." Zoe squealed toddling her way with her arms outstretched. "How's my special girl?" Andrea asked bending and picking her up. "Me no go. Me wanna go." Zoe pouted. "Go where sweetie?" Andrea asked unable to resist the sad little face. "Me belly." Zoe pouted. "Belly? Baby Sis got a bellyache?" Isaac asked leaning his forehead to hers. "Oh Isaac." Andrea sighed shaking her head no. "Clarke Isaac Hanson I don't believe you." Diana added heaving a sigh of disappointment. "Do I have to acknowledge that he is my grandson?" Gramma Bea teased. "Ike you are pathetic." Jessie sighed. "She wants to go to the ballet. Ballet not belly. Isaac, Isaac, Isaac." Andrea moaned hanging her head in shame, adding, "This is so embarassing." "You're embarassed. I gave birth to him." Diana sighed hanging her head. "You. I gave birth to the one who... you know with you... Oh my how embarassing." Gramma Bea teased and they all started laughing. "Okay. Okay. Enough." Isaac complained as they laughed harder. "Oh poor baby. I still love you. Embarassed but I still love you." Andrea said leaning his way, caressing his face. "You do huh?" Isaac sighed gazing at her. "Yes Isaac Hanson. I love you. Always have and always will." Andrea replied leaning even closer, kissing him sweetly. "Awwww she loves him. As clueless as he is, she loves him." Gramma Bea sighed. "Thank God! I was so afraid only a mother could love him." Diana squealed and they all giggled together. "Hey you're not suppose to laugh." Isaac exclaimed pressing his forehead to Andrea's. "I'm not. Honest I'm not." Andrea choked out trying so hard not to laugh as the others broke into laughter. "Sure." Isaac teased. "I'm sure." Andrea choked out, quickly adding, "I think." "You just think so huh?: Isaac teased making faces at her. "Stop it. How can I be serious?" Andrea giggled then took a deep breath trying hard to hold it in before joining the laughter with her own. "See I knew you were laughing." Isaac whispered into her ear. "It's one of the reasons I love you so. No matter how bad things seem, you can always make me laugh." Andrea replied with such a big smile. "Anny happy." Zoe squealed. "I'm always happy when I'm here baby sis." Andrea replied hugging her before kissing her cheek. "Here where?" Isaac whispered as the questions returned to his eyes. "Stop being so stingy. We love her too." Gramma Bea interrupted, adding, "Besides it's my birthday." "Yes Gramma." Isaac replied loosening his grip on Andrea then pushing her in the direction of his grandmother. "My two special girls." Gramma Bea said as Andrea approached still holding Zoe. "Gee thanks Gramma." Jessie moaned as Gramma Bea whisked Zoe from Andrea's arms before kissing their cheeks. "Yeah Gramma." Avery added. "Yes Mom." Diana sighed. "Oh you know you're loved. Stop with the whining today is my birthday and I want to open presents. Where are they?" Gramma Bea declared. "Oh no. Isaac tell me you brought the presents." Andrea gasped. "The ones from the hall closet?" Isaac asked. "Yes. Please tell me you brought them." Andrea pleaded. "Yeah babe I brought them." Isaac answered with a smile. "You're so wonderful." Andrea sighed blowing him a kiss. "Well now I know what I want to open first. Which ones young man?" Gramma Bea declared following Isaac towards the table overflowing with gifts. "I love you too." Andrea mumbled. "I know you do but it's nice to hear." Grampa Lawyer whispered from behind her. "Oh my Grampa." Andrea squealed as she turned giving him a big hug. "So he left you high and dry already huh? Seems like he'd learn." Grampa Lawyer whispered hugging her back. "Huh?" Andrea muttered her eyes filling with pain as she realized it was true. "He loves you more than anything but sometimes does a lousy job of showing you. You have to believe in the two of you Andy. I honestly believe he has know idea what he just did." Grampa Lawyer shared as he hugged her tight. "You're probably right Grampa but it still hurts." Andrea shared looking up at him with so many questions. "Such a sad little face. You close your eyes. That's my girl." Grampa Lawyer said as Andrea did what was asked. "Now think about the two of you, how meant to be you are. There it is, that's my smile. Andy he loves you, never doubt that." Grampa Lawyer insisted as he kissed her forehead. "Oh Grampa. I guess I forgot. How could I forget? I just have to work on the don't like me part and we'll be just fine. How did you get to be so smart?" Andrea asked smiling big. "Just like Isaac sweetie. I fell in love with an amazing woman. You remind me of her. Hmmm." Grampa Lawyer answered off in thought. "Hmmmm what?" Andrea asked. "I just realized how alike you two are. That's why I love you the way I do." Grampa Lawyer answered. "I'm so glad you do." Andrea replied hugging him tight. "What did you mean by don't like me part sweetie?" Grampa Lawyer asked. Before she could answer, "Here they are." Isaac said pulling their gifts from the pile. "Oh so many and such pretty paper. This is wonderful sweetie." Gramma Bea said as her eyes filled with anticipation. "You're more than welcome Gramma. We love you so much." Andrea said making her way to them, kissing her cheek then wrapping her arms around Isaac before gazing up at him. "What?" Isaac asked smiling back at her. "I love you." Andrea answered beaming at him. "I love you too Andy. I may forget to tell or show you but always know I love you." Isaac vowed caressing her face. "I'm so sorry I forgot. How could I forget the most important thing?" Andrea answered as the pain of the last few days filled her mind. "It would be hard to remember considering the way I was treating you." Isaac confessed. "You didn't mean to." Andrea sniffled. "Never babe. I love you Andy. How could I have been so..." Isaac was trying to explain as Gramma Bea interrupted. "Oh my. This is... It's just... I can't believe it. Oh my." Gramma Bea squealed loudly clasping the gift to her chest before sitting down suddenly as if the wind was knocked out of her. "Mom are you all right?" Walker asked making his way to her. "Bea dear are you all right?" Grampa Hanson asked from behind them and then in a whisper, "You've done it now baby girl, she's speechless." "Well I couldn't have done it without your help." Andrea replied. "You tell a soul I help you and I'll say you're touched in the head." Grampa Hanson teased. "Sounds like she's got you in trouble again." Grampa Lawyer teased, adding, "At least it's you and not me this time." "I was thinking the same thing." Isaac added and they snickered. "Well I never." Andrea squealed then glared and pointed a finger before finishing, "I'll gladly tell her none of you had anything to do with this. You do know she's going to love this and she'll never forget the person who did this for her. I'm so glad it won't be any of you." She quickly turned and made her way to Gramma Bea.
