Cody was up with the first light and immediately headed down the hall to check on Avie then returned to shower and dress for the day. She snuck back into Avie's room gathering up her clothes before heading upstairs sneaking into Isaac's room, dumping the contents of his pockets on the dresser, before heading downstairs to put their clothes in the washer. Cody then made a cup of tea, grabbed the morning paper and headed to the patio, to read the paper in the morning light. When the dryer was done, Cody folded their clothes, finding her smallest panties and undershirt for Avie and a pair of her sleep in boxers, after opening the fly she had stitched shut, and pair of soccer tube socks for Isaac and made her way back into their rooms, leaving them clean clothes. She had written a note for Isaac, 'I stole your clothes and washed them so you'd have something clean to wear. I emptied your pockets onto the dresser while it was so dark I couldn't see, so your secrets are still safe. The bathroom is right across the hall. I'll be in the kitchen making us breakfast or on the patio off the kitchen. Cody' and placed it on top of the pile of clean laundry before sneaking back out and heading to the kitchen to make breakfast for the three of them. She was busy preparing waffles, "Cody, Cody." Avie called out. ''Morning girlfriend." Cody said entering her room. "I spent the night." Avie exclaimed. "Sure did sweetie, you and your brother. Isaac is in one of the rooms upstairs. You fell asleep watching the movie and I had him ask your folks if it would be all right if you stayed, so here you are." Cody replied. "Isaac's here too?" Avie asked smiling. "Sure is sweetie. I here the shower running so he's up too. Why don't you get cleaned up, I washed your jeans and found some of my things you should be able to wear. I'm making waffles for breakfast." Cody explained. "Waffles! Who's birthday? That's the only time we get waffles." Avie shared before heading in to shower. Cody headed back to the kitchen making a pot of coffee and got busy making the waffles. "Morning Cody. Waffles, who's birthday?" Isaac greeted entering the room. "I have special company, it calls for a special breakast." Cody said as Avie came running down the hall hugging her then her brother. Cody got them busy setting the patio table while she finished up their waffles. "Here we go." Cody announced as they sat in the morning sun eating their breakfast while they chatted and got to know each other better. "Morning Miss Cody." they heard. "Morning Mr Yumato." Cody called back as he busied himself in a flower bed. "My gardener." Cody whispered. "What's up Cody?" they heard. "Morning Tommy. Could you give it some extra cleaning, I've used it hard this week and have more people coming in." Cody replied. "Consider it done." Tommy answered. "Buenos dias, Senorita Cody." they heard from inside the house. "Buenos dias, Carmelita. Como esta usted?" Cody replied. "Bien muchacha. Muy bien." Carmelita answered busying herself cleaning the house. "If you'll excuse me, I need to arrange to have the country house cleaned." Cody said heading into the house returning minutes later. "Totally confused yet?" Cody asked. "Tell me about it." Isaac teased. "Well if you must know, promise you won't let it change your opinion of me?" Cody asked. "As long as you aren't married, you can tell me anythng." Isaac replied. "No Isaac, I'm not married. Gawd I'm only 17, married, well I guess it's possible but not for me. I haven't dated that much besides I seem to have lousy taste in men, they all turn into jerks." Cody shared. "I find that hard to believe." Isaac insisted. "What that I have lousy taste in men? Men are jerks? What?" Cody asked. "I can't believe you haven't dated much?" Isaac explained. "I guess besides a busy life, I just haven't felt the need to date." Cody replied. "So what's with all the hired help? You rich or something?" Isaac asked. "Now I don't have to figure out how to tell you. Yes Isaac, I'm rich. I inherited land, farmland from my father and from my mother I inherited oil wells, lots and lots of oil wells." Cody explained watching his face for his reaction. "So how rich you talking?" Isaac asked. "Umm I think I'm the richest in the State and top ten in the Country." Cody whispered nervously. "So who cares. You're nice that's all that matters." Avie declared thrilling Cody. "Yeah, so who cares?" Isaac agreed as Cody breathed a sigh of relief. They finished up breakfast and Avie headed in to call home, returning all smiles asking if she could call a friend. "Of course you can sweetie." Cody answered as she and Isaac discussed in more detail Cody's lifestyle. "Cody, Cody. Please can we? Can we go to the Mall?" Avie asked all excited. "Sweetie it's fine with me, but you have to ask your brother, he's the one who has to take us?" Cody answered. "Isaac, Isaac, please? I promise I'll go home, no arguing. But you know I'm going to be grounded forever. Please let me have fun first?" Avie begged. "Isaac please, pretty please?" Cody pleaded. "Who could say no to the two of you. Yes we can go and yes we can take Amanda." Isaac answered as they both hugged him. "Let's get dressed quick before he changes his mind." Cody said clearing the table and loading the dishwasher before heading to her room with Avie. She found a spandex dance outfit of hers, minidress with biker shorts that fit Avie, taking a similar outfit for Amanda. Cody wore a simple black mini dress with a matching long jacket. "Let's go before your brother changes his mind." Cody said and they got Isaac and headed to Amanda's. Cody waited in the car as Isaac and Avie went in for Amanda and soon they were all on the way to the Mall. Once inside Avie and Amanda took the lead, Isaac and Cody following not far behind so unsure of each other and their feelings. Isaac watched as Cody soothed an out of control, screaming two year old, amazed at the affect she had on that child and any other she came in contact with. "God bless you, I was at the end of my rope. I know he's not a bad boy." the mother shared as Cody turned to rejoin them she found Isaac staring at her until he noticed she had seen, then quickly turned away. "Sorry I'm a soft touch where kids are concerned. Lead on girls." Cody said brushing against Isaac as they took off for the next store. "Sorry" Cody whispered. "Yeah right, you did that on purpose just to get my attention. Didn't you?" Isaac whispered. "I see it worked." Cody teased gazing deeply into his eyes as he reached for her and pulled her back to him. "You have my undivided attention." Isaac declared staring deeply into her eyes as they were both shocked at the instant connection between them. "Cody go out with me?" Isaac asked, "Now too soon?" Cody answered smiling at him still gazing deeply into his warm brown eyes. "I was thinking more, me and you. You know without our own personal cheering section." Isaac explained turning her to see Avie and Amanda jumping up and down and when he turned Cody back to face him, kissing her, the two squealed with joy. "Do you think Avie planned this? Isaac she looks so proud of herself." Cody asked. "Nah, you know you're right she does look proud. She's nine, what would she know Cody?" Isaac asked. "Isaac you can't be that naive dear. Even if your parents control what you've watched on TV or movies, your parents are a living testament to love. You all are a product of true love Isaac, how would she not know?" Cody insisted. "But, wow you think?" Isaac asked. "It all makes sense now. Right before your Mom called the last time, Avie and I had this deep discussion on my pathetic dating record. The latest in the line of losers had just called to ream me and I didn't take it, I told him I was sure that I was meant to be late for our date so I could meet Avie and he tells me when I get tired of playing with children, and want to be with a man, call him. I couldn't stop myself, I told him to call me when he grows up and learns what it means to be a real man. You know she was thrilled I let him have it and then she like zones out on me. When your Mom phoned, I called her three times, and finally reached across the table and patted her hand to get her attention. Isaac that's when she was too afraid of your folks and wondered if you were mad at her. She definitely knew what she was doing. Avie put us together purposefully." Cody explained as they followed after the girls, walking arm in arm. In one of the next shops, Cody bought matching 'Best Friend' necklaces for Avie and Amanda. The four headed to the food court for lunch, the girls getting a table as Isaac went from stand to stand getting everyone their favorites. "You to keep our table, I'm going to go help Isaac." Cody announced heading to Isaac as he stood in line at McDonald's. She quietly slipped in line behind him, slipping her arms around his waist, raising on tip toe, nuzzling his hair, "I came to keep you company." Cody whispered before kissing and nibbling on his ear."Cody" Isaac moaned and she ducked under his arm and spun around him, facing him as he gazed at her before kissing her deeply, taking her breath away. Cody cuddled against him, hugging him tight as they advanced to the front of the line and Isaac placed the order and payed before returning his attention back to Cody. "So do I get to take you out tonight?"Isaac asked. "Kiss me and I might answer you." Cody teased. "What I won't do for you. Man I got it bad." Isaac said kissing her over and over with soft little kisses, driving her crazy before kissing her passionately. "Ohhh Isaac." Cody gasped totally shocked by the emotions that raced through her mind and body. "Yes, I'll go out with you." Cody sighed. "Sweetie you okay? Cody are you crying?" Isaac whispered as she cuddled against his chest, nodding her head yes. "Honey don't cry." Isaac whispered kissing her head as he grabbed a napkin to wipe her tears, "You have the most beautiful smile on your face while tears are falling. Cody what is it?" Isaac asked. "When you kissed me, I, I. Isaac I've never felt this way before. You make me tingle all over and you take my breath away when you kiss me." Cody explained. "I'm glad because I thought it was just me and I was trying to figure out how to get you to feel the same way. Cody you do, you like me to." Isaac replied. "Like I've never liked anyone before." Cody said kissing him deeply as their order was delivered. "Baby I'll take this to the table, can you get in line so I can get your lunch?" Isaac asked. "Oh we'll be apart. Be strong Cody, he has to leave you." Cody teased as she headed for the Pita Wagon and got in line, looking back at Isaac, smiling before turning back. "Excuse me miss, you sure are pretty." Isaac whispered as he walked up behind her. "Thank you." Cody answered looking at the floor. "Really, really pretty. Umm can I buy you lunch? Let me buy you lunch?" Isaac pleaded. "I'm sorry I have a boyfriend and he's going to buy my lunch." Cody said holding her head high. "Wow, lucky fella. Should have guessed, you're awfully pretty." Isaac whispered then, "You tell him how lucky he is." "I'm the lucky one, he is so nice and he's not afraid to let me know it. He is the nicest person I've ever met and when he kisses me, he takes my breath away." Cody said sighing as she stepped up to the counter and ordered her lunch. "I've got it." Isaac said to the counter person as he stepped to her side handing over the money. "Thanks for lunch." Cody whispered wrapping her arm around him and kissing his cheek as he turned his head, pressing his lips to hers. "Isaac." she sighed. "Cody" he sighed back grabbing her lunch and leading her back to the table. They sat side by side, sharing looks, touches and kisses throughout their meal. "What sweetie? Avie I'm sorry I didn't hear you." Cody apologized. "Duh. But it's okay. I'm glad you like each other." Avie said proudly. "Thanks Avie. You were so right, he's perfect, everything I've ever dreamed of and more." Cody shared, adding, "You're the best girlfriend, the best." "Cody." Avie exclaimed getting up and racing to her. "What sweetie?" Cody asked as Avie hugged her and started to cry. "Avie what's wrong? Don't cry sweetie everything will be okay, I promise." Cody said kissing and hugging her, looking at Isaac for answers. "Sis what is it? Don't cry Avie. Honest, Cody and I will figure out a way to make everything okay. Avie don't cry." Isaac asked kissing the top of her head as he stroked her hair. "But Isaac, Cody. Oh Isaac you love her too." Avie exclaimed as she looked up at her brother. "Sssh I haven't told her yet." Isaac whispered kissing Avie. "But Isaac look at her, she loves you. It's written all over her face. See!" Avie said pointing at Cody who was all smiles. "You did this didn't you?" Cody asked. "I'm sorry it's just everything you said you were looking for in each of the jerks you dated, Isaac was all that and more you know." Avie answered. "Don't be sorry sweetie. Avie you were so right he's all that and so much more. Thank you for bringing us together Avie." Cody expressed hugging and kissing her. "Sis this is the nicest thing you've ever done. Thanks for helping me find the girl of my dreams." Isaac said pulling Avie to him, hugging her tight. "Miss Mathews? Cody Mathews? Dave Wright, Tulsa World." he introduced himself. "Yes Dave, I remember you. What can I do for you?" Cody asked. "I've been trying to reach you about 'Celebrate Tulsa Youth' but your secretary keeps mailing me information instead of scheduling an interview. Can I have a few minutes?" Dave asked. "Isaac, would it be all right. I'll be just a few minutes." Cody asked. "Sure baby, 'Celebrate Tulsa Youth' is that you?" Isaac asked. "Yeah hun. Why?" Cody asked standing to leave but turning back to Isaac first. "We read about it and we all liked the concept is all. What can we do to help?" Isaac asked. "You I'll talk to later. Let me do this interview first." Cody answered blowing him a kiss as she headed towards the reporter. Isaac watched as she sat poised, answering the reporters questions and was thrilled as Cody looked his way, smiing as their eyes met. "I'll see you get an invitation Dave and let me know if the boss likes your idea." Cody said as he walked her back. "My idea. Cody you're too good a salesperson, you have me believing it was my idea." Dave chuckled. "You have trouble selling it, call me I'll help." Cody offered. "They would have to be idiots not to align themselves with this event. I'll see you at the party." Dave said turning to Isaac, "Thanks for letting me intrude." "No problem, the event is going to do so much good." Isaac said shaking his hand. "So we done eating and ready to see the rest of the Mall?" Cody asked. "We want to go to the arcade. Please Isaac." Avie asked. "Please Isaac, it's where all the cool guys hang?" Cody asked. "Cody don't tell him that." Avie squealed. "Oh yeah now he'll be hanging out there and some young chicky will pick him up." Cody teased. "Cody you're silly." Avie said laughing as they made their way to the arcade. "So how'd you know cool guys hang out at the arcade?" Isaac asked. "Ummm I never meet any cool guys at the Mall but I don't go to the arcade. Duh!" Cody answered. "Very good Cody." Isaac teased. "You pat my head and I'll make you so sorry." Cody said as she started to laugh and raced ahead catching up with Avie and Amanda, taking each of their hands and making the rest of the way to the arcade. "Avie. What are you doing here? You must be Cody. I'm Avie's brother Zac." Zac said taking her hand and shaking it before hugging his sister, "Sis I'm so sorry she treated you that way. She is history. You should have heard Mom, she let her have it. Your friend is really pretty." Zac shared. "Too late. Your brother beat you to her and she likes him too." Avie replied. "Isaac. Way cool. So you like him too huh?" Zac asked. "I sure do." Cody answered with such a big smile he didn't have any reason to question it. "What you doing here?" Avie asked. "Remember that girl I've been writing forever, Jessy, well her family moved out here and she promised to meet me. Man I'm nervous." Zac answered. "Don't be. Any girl would be lucky to meet you. Zac what you said to Avie, too bad she didn't see that. She'd be a goner just like I am over your big brother. Just be you hun and you don't have a thing to worry about." Cody said hugging Zac. "Cody Mathews that's the wrong brother you're hugging there." Isaac teased. "Oops. Nah can't be this one is soooo sweet. He has to be my Hanson." Cody teased back turning Zac red faced as Isaac reached them, turned Cody to him and kissed her deeply taking her breath away. "Oh Isaac." Cody sighed. "I love you too babe." Isaac whispered as Cody wrapped her arms around him burying her face in his chest. "It's okay babe." Isaac said kissing the top of her head feeling her trying hard not to cry. "I know it's okay." Cody whimpered raising her head to look at him, "Isaac I love you too." she declared as their eyes met. "Yeah I know. I've been waiting for you to know." Isaac whispered as he kissed her deeply. "You knew huh?" Cody asked as their lips parted, kissing him sweetly after asking. "Yeah I knew. Avie was right, it's written all over your beautiful face." Isaac answered kissing the end of her nose. "He's right Cody. You said you liked him and I looked at your face and said nah you love him." Zac added. "Told you." Avie added."Yeah I love him." Cody sighed as Isaac handed the girls ten dollars to play games and they were off as Zac stuck out his hand. "If you pay him maybe we can be alone." Cody whispered. "You think?" Isaac asked reaching for more money. "So this is what it's like. Loving someone?" Cody asked as Isaac wrapped her in his arms. "Nah babe. This is what it's like loving the right someone." Isaac said kissing her deeply. "Isaac I didn't know. This is cool. You're in love." they heard. "Umm thank you it is cool." Isaac answered. "So cool." Cody added and turned to the person, "Hi my name is Cody. So you're a fan too?" she asked. "Hey Cody. Yeah I'm a big fan. My name is Jessy." she replied. "Zac's Jessy?" Cody asked. "I wish." Jessy giggled. "You're as nervous as Zac was. Don't be Jessy, forget about his last name, just tell yourself you're meeting Zac, your friend you've been writing to for so long. He's really a nice guy and they're not too many of those around." Cody explained. "Thanks you're right, he is my friend." Jessy replied smiling, adding, "So how long have you been keeping this from us?" "We just met thanks to Avie." Cody answered. "Way to go Avie." Jessy responded. "Yeah it pays to have little sisters after all." Isaac said extending his hand, "Jessy it's nice to finally meet you. Zac's so happy you guys moved closer. How's the new house working out for you all. What two brothers and your Mom?" "Yeah that's what was suppose to happen but my two older brothers decided to come too. Don't get me wrong, I'm so glad they decided to come live with us, but we're really crowded now." Jessy answered sharing the divorce, the older boys staying with their father but moving with them when they bought the farm, the five kids finally back together on a farm like before the divorce. "We had decided to raise and train horses but now the guys want to raise cattle. The farm is way to small for both so already we're looking for another place." "Jessy, I've been looking for someone to run one of my ranches, do you think you guys would be interested?" Cody asked. "One of your ranches?" Jessy asked and the two girls were deep in conversation, "Who's the looker with Cody?" Zac asked. "Man we lucked out. Look at them bro they're both beautiful." Isaac offered. "We? Isaac?" Zac asked. "Yeah Zac, Cody is talking to Jessy." Isaac shared. "Jessy." Zac gasped. "Zac." Jessy squealed hearing her name and turning to see Zac for the first time in person, "Zac you're so tall. When did this happen? Oh how rude, hi Zac, I'm Jessy." She extended her hand and when Zac pressed his to hers, she felt she would faint, staring at their hands. "Jessy I never realized how beautiful you were." Zac whispered drawing her eyes to his. "Oh Isaac. Isn't it wonderful." Cody whispered gazing into his eyes. "What that you love me? Yeah babe that's wonderful." Isaac whispered, taking her hands and pulling her to him. "That is wonderful." Cody replied kissing him tenderly, adding, "I was speaking of the way your brother is looking at Jessy." "Oh I thought you were talking about the way Jessy was looking at him." Isaac shared kissing her deeply. "Oh Zac, that's so great about your brother and Cody. They look so happy." Jessy shared. "Yeah it is Jessy, he's looked for her for so long. Man I was starting to think there was no such thing as meant to be love." Zac replied. "What Zac how could you ? Look at your folks, that's what we all dream about. I'm mean." Jessy shared suddenly getting quiet. "That's what I mean Jessy, everyday we see true love, meant to be love, it' just so hard when you don't find it. I mean Isaac was always putting on a good front, but if you looked you could see the disappointment." Zac whispered. "He's not disappointed now hun, he looks as if she's definitely worth the wait." Jessy shared turning him to see Isaac and Cody then wrapping her arm in his. "He sure has fallen fast. I guess when it's meant to be, time doesn't matter." Zac said watching Isaac and Cody in each others arms, smiling before lightly stroking Jessy's hand. "Yeah. I think you're right Zac." Jessy agreed, adding, "Now I remember someone telling me that they'd whoop my butt playing Rush2, do they have it here? I plan on making you eat those words." "In your dreams babe. I'll leave you in the dust." Zac teased. "Words, just words. Back 'em up." Jessy teased and the two headed inside. "Well old man, dare we enter the arcade." Cody teased. "We could sit here and neck." Isaac whispered. "Oooh I like your idea better." Cody gasped as she quivered in anticipation when Isaac took her hand and they walked to the bench where he sat and pulled her to his lap. "Isaac, Isaac." Avie called. "Over here sweetie." Cody answered as Isaac moaned, whispering, "Pay them and they'll leave you alone." "Isaac." Cody squealed. "Isaac show me how to win. They keep laughing at me." Avie pleaded as Cody slipped off his lap making room for Avie. "Show you what sis?" Isaac asked and soon they were headed into the arcade and Isaac helped his sister while Cody spoke with Jessy and had her dial her mother so she could talk to her about running her latest acquisition. "Sounds great we'll meet when I bring Jessy home, we're heading to the Hansons after the Mall, I haven't met the folks either. We'll get together tomorrow and I'll take you all to the ranch and we can look things over." Cody said hanging up returning her attention to Isaac who was standing back watching Avie with pride on his face. Avie squealed her joy as she beat the next competitor as Isaac helped Amanda next. "So he dumped you for someone younger." Zac teased wrapping his arm around her. "Nah he dumped me for two younger women." Cody replied laughing as she informed Jessy of what was going on with her Mom, "Zac I hope it's okay, my taking Jessy home later." "Cool Cody. Now I can spend more time with her." Zac responded wrapping his other arm around Jessy. As Avie and Amanda finally tired, the group loaded up and headed to return Amanda before heading home.
