I Wanted To Get To Know You

Part Two

"Mom" Chele called out entering the hotel room. "Momma Donna you here?" Jessy added. "In the bathroom girls. I'll be right out." Donna answered. "I still don't believe it." Jessy sighed plopping down on the bed. "Don't believe what sweetie?" Donna asked joining them. "I don't believe I met Zac Hanson much less, much less... Oh my God I was just hugging and kissing Zac Hanson. I don't believe it." Jessy gasped clasping a hand over her mouth. "You don't have time for this. You were just hugging and kissing Zac Hanson. What am I saying? Jessy you behave or Barbara will never forgive me. You just remember, you know...What am I suppose to tell her?" Donna rambled on as the realization that the girls had gotten closer to the boys than she had imagined. "You're suppose to remind us to keep our wits about us at all times and not to lose our heads over them just because they're rock stars, hot rock stars. Extremely hot. He is so fine Mom. I can't believe I was hugging and kissing Jordan Taylor Hanson." Chele gasped plopping down on the bed next to Jessy. "You what?" Donna squealed and all three began laughing. "Thank God we can laugh about this. In like three hours we're hopping a jet on the arm of two-thirds of Hanson, heading to a star studded event and I haven't a thing to wear." Chele moaned. "Three hours. Let's go. Move girls. Get changed now so we can hit the Mall and find you something to wear." Donna ordered and the girls quickly showered and changed before heading out. "I don't know what to do. I mean Zac said he had this new cool T-shirt to wear and without thinking I go and ask if I can wear it. Mom I don't know what color, what design on it or nothing. What do I wear with I don't know what?" Jessy moaned explaining her predicament. "Don't panic sweetie. Let's just find you some new jeans, tight in all the right places, you know." Donna suggested. "Tight fitting jeans huh? Good idea Mom. I'm lucky to have two Moms." Jessy exclaimed as the three made their way through the Mall. "I have to have them. Aren't they awesome. Man I bet I'll be almost as tall as Zac in these." Jessy squealed racing to the window of a shoe store, pointing at the platform sandals. "Maybe if I buy two pairs, I'll almost be the height of Tay." Chele teased as the girls made their way inside. After purchasing shoes, "So we're shopping from the bottom up huh?" Donna teased as they made their way to the next store, finding a new pair of jeans for Jessy. "Perfect! Tight in all the right places." Donna insisted as the girls made their way to the Gap finding a perfect sundress for Chele. "You look fabulous. Wish I hadn't told Zac I wanted to wear his new T-shirt, I'd buy one. What am I saying? Me a dress!" Jessy shared as they laughed their way to the next store and the next until the found the perfect top for Jessy to wear until she met Zac and got his T-Shirt. "I say we've done great. You two will blow them away. No one will even suspect you are just my little girls, they'll all think you're some jet setting somebody. "I say we've done good, it's only been an hour and we're done. Let's celebrate over ice cream." Chele suggested and the three headed to the Food Court. Over ice cream, "Mom how do you know when a guy really, really likes you, not just what he can get?" Jessy asked shocking Donna. "Well let's see. Ummm Jessy I guess it's different for everyone, you know every guy is different. You know they all have different backgrounds like from a split home, an abusive home, a loving home and so on. I mean it isn't written in stone or anything but I really think what you lived is usually what you live. Do you understand?" Donna fumbled for an answered. "Hmmm you mean like Zac is from a loving, stable home so I would expect him to be loving and stable. You know you're right He is. I mean to me he is. I remember when we first met. I was so sure he'd just give me the star/fan stock responses so I really didn't say much of anything to him. Sis is talking up a blue streak with Isaac and Taylor but all I can do is wait for Zac to ask me something and then I answered. "Hey. It was Jessy right?" Zac asked looking over at his brothers carrying on a conversation with the other girl they'd bumped into. Literally bumped into them. Being so well known and so often stalked by their fans, the trio from Tulsa had decided on taking the back stairs down to try and get to the hotel's private beach undetected. At the same time two floors up, Chele and her internet sister, Jessy had decided that the back stairs were the fastest way to the beach. The girls had met two years back in a Hanson Chat Room and their friendship grew from that point. They had finally met for the first time when Jessy traveled to meet Chele and join her family on vacation. After the long car ride over the girls were up for excitement. "Ouch. Hey watch what your doing." Chele squealed as the door on the fourth floor flew open right before her. "Watch it. Sorry." she heard as a pair of arms reached out and pulled her to a stop right before she was about to run into the door. "Whew that was a close one. Here I was minding my own business, racing to the beach when this door jumped out and tried to attack me." Chele teased. "Man Sis what is it with you and doors. First the car door and now this." Jessy teased, adding, "You okay?" "Yeah didn't kiss this one. I'm okay." Chele replied. "Great let's hit the beach then. I am so wound up from the ride over. It's a bitch being quiet and polite. When can I let you guys know the real me?" Jessy teased, adding, "Race you old woman." "What did you call me?" Chele squealed as the two took off racing down the stairs. "Sorry. Glad you weren't hurt." Taylor called out. "That's okay. Sorry too. Didn't mean to scare you like that. I'll be more careful next time." Chele called back. "Not! Oh who are you trying to impress, old woman?" Jessy asked racing downwards. "Is this the real you that you were talking about?" Chele asked. "Nah I'm still being nice. See I got you thinking I care when I don't." Jessy answered with a laugh, adding, "Stop talking and run old woman." "Jessy stop with the old woman crap. I ain't that old. Wait I'm out of breath. I have to stop and rest." Chele teased and they both laughed. "Man they're crazy. Who are they?" Zac asked turning to Taylor. "I heard that? I'm Nuts and my Sis is Nutsier." Jessy called up the stairwell. "Hey Nuts, wait up for me." Zac hollered and started racing down the stairs. "Wait for me. I'm coming Nutsier. Don't leave without me." Taylor hollered. "Now look what you've done." Chele accused. "I've done. You started it." Jessy insisted making it to the main floor, adding, "Do we wait?" "I don't know. I really didn't look at him, was he cute?" Chele asked. "How am I supposed to know. I was so busy trying to stop before I ran you over. I know you love me but I wasn't sure how you'd feel after I plowed into you." Jessy teased. "You don't know how I'd feel?" Chele replied, adding, "I'd feel hurt, crunched, kerplatt, lots and lots of pain." Chele answered with a chuckle, continuing, "I can see it now. I'd wake up in some hospital, let out this deep moan and ask, 'Did anyone get the number off that truck?" "Faster Zac. Man we got to catch them. They are hilarious." the girls heard as laughter echoed throughout the stairwell. "Let's ditch them." Jessy suggested. "Ditch who?" Chele asked. "I don't know who they are. Let's split before we find out." Jessy replied. "Sorry you're too slow. I haven't got all day." Chele hollered. "Yeah she's way to old to waste precious time like this. She hasn't got much left." Jessy squealed grabbing the door and opening it, making her way outside. "You brat. After all I've done for you." Chele hollered. "Oh yeah all that. About the smoking, have you ever heard about sabotaging someone's smokes?" Jessy asked, adding, "You know cigarettes that blow up. Or put something in them. I heard that pepper is nasty and really flashes as it burns. Then there's the old tried and true, poke holes in them so they don't burn right." "Jessy you're terrible." Chele squealed, adding, "What do you think we can get away with?" As the two stood laughing, "Wait. They you are." they heard, turning to see who said it. "Oh my God. You're.. I don't believe this." Jessy gasped. "So you're Nuts huh?" Zac asked the speechless Jessy. "Huh? Yeah I'm Nuts. I mean I'm Jessy." she replied waving at him as she giggled in disbelief. "So you must be Nutsier?" Taylor asked. "Great powers of deduction there Tay. Sure can tell you're blonde." Chele teased, adding, "Yes I'm Nutsier a.k.a. Chele. What are you doing here? I mean aren't you supposed to be in some studio in LA?" "Yeah what are you doing here? I've been waiting on this album release for a long time now." Jessy asked turning to Zac. "Hey. It was Jessy right?" Zac asked. "Yeah Zac, I'm Jessy, Nuts, Crazy whatever." Jessy answered and Zac explained their trip to Florida to record a song for the album with someone else. "Okay I get the trip to Florida was for the Album but this isn't Florida. At least I don't think so. Man it did seem like we were in that car forever. Sis are we in Florida? Did your Dad like take a wrong turn?" Jessy teased. The five of them made it down to the beach and were getting to know each other when the rest of the Hansons appeared. "Jessy wait. Jessy why you always running off?" Zac asked following her over to his younger sisters. "What? I'm not. Maybe I am. I'm sorry Zac it's just I've been sitting all day and I want to do something now that we're finally here. Sis is like so into your brother I don't think she even notices me so I thought I'd just hang with your sisters if that's okay?" Jessy answered looking away. "Yeah that's okay. I just thought maybe we'd. You know I was thinking you and I..." Zac fumbled for the right words. "You thought what Zac?" Jessy asked finally looking up at him, adding, "Wow you've gotten so tall. Man Zac that was so rude. I'm sorry I didn't mean it to make you feel self conscious about it or nothing. It's just the last time I saw you, on tour, you were like my height and now you're not, you're tall." Jessy explained. "That's okay Jessy. I don't think you're being rude." Zac replied gazing at her then turning away, noticing his brother putting the moves on Chele as Isaac headed towards the family. "You're being nice. I know how I feel when someone stares at me and says 'Wow you've grown' I mean you'd think I'd be the last one to comment on how someone's changed." Jessy rambled on still feeling awkward. "Hey I think Puberty has been a gas." Zac shared with a snicker. "A gas huh? Well it has been a trip." Jessy replied looking his way intrigued by his smile.
