The morning sun through the window woke her. Jessy stretched and moved to her bag pulling out her jogging bra and slipping it on. She put on clean panties and a pair of shorts before grabbing her running shoes and socks and putting them on. Jessy stood at the mirror and brushed her hair, pulling it into a ponytail before packing everything into her bag. She made the bed before heading quietly downstairs, leaving her bag near the front door. She did her stretching then dialed home, "Momma I'm ready to come home now. Release the hounds, well hound. Point Scotty in my direction and I'll whistle, tell him to listen for me and set him free." Jessy said. "You leaving now baby?" Barbara asked. "Yeah, already stretched. I'll jog in place until he finds me Momma. See ya." Jessy said hanging up and heading out the patio door into the backyard taking a deep breath and whistling as loud to home as she could. Jessy stretched some more and jogged in place and then about five minutes later she whistled again. Seeing the yellow blur in the woods Jessy started her run, "Morning boy. Take me home Scotty." Jessy greeted him and they took off on a run through the woods until they got to the fences and they ran the fence line checking for needed repairs. When the finally reached home, Jessy headed to the barn and started to work doing morning chores, then saddling Buster and Beauty. "Morning Sis. Want me to ride her?" Sam asked and the two headed out to exercise the horses and check the rest of the fence line. They returned to the barn a little after 8am and they fed the horses while they ran to the house for their breakfast. Jessy was back out bathing horses by 8:30, getting them groomed and ready to load by ten. She headed to the house to clean up, "My don't we look especially nice this morning. Baby by any chance are you going to see Zac." Barbara asked and the mention of his name brought a big smile to her face. "Momma what do you mean?" Jessy giggled. "Just tell that boy thank you for making my baby girl smile again." Barbara said. "You can tell him yourself when you get there. Thanks for dealing with Nick and the rest for me. I gotta head out." Jessy said. "I'll walk you baby. You all loaded, what you wearing?" Barbara asked. "The new fringed whites." Jessy answered as she loaded Buster then Beauty. "You want me call that young man and tell him you're on your way." Barbara asked. "Nah Momma, if he's not ready I'll understand, I'd rather he rest and get over the poison ivy." Jessy said and hopped behind the wheel and head out to the Hansons. Jessy pulled into the drive and stopped at the security camera. "Jessy is that you?" Zac asked. "Yeah babe I'm here." Jessy said as the gate opened and she drove up the driveway, pulling up in front of the house and parking."Whoa. Serious bucks Jessy. You're cute as a cowgirl." Taylor said. "Hey Tay. Where's Zac?" Jessy asked and he led her into the house. "Morning Jessy." "Morning sweetie." Walker then Diana greeted. "Hey Mr and Mrs H the kids are just now waking up as I left the drive way, Mackie I think, but the girls are still sleeping. Momma will have them up soon." Jessy said. "Man you ride in style Jessy. Dad she's got a whole house in the nose of that trailer, air conditioned, satellite dish, tv, stereo, computer. It's got a kitchen, table and chairs, couch then you should see the truck. It's loaded." Taylor said returning to the house. "It's how I make my living Tay. It's just like you stage design, it makes a nice show." Jessy explained as Zac came down the stairs with his extra clothes and boots. "Here I'll go put them in the trailer." Tay said taking them from Zac and heading out the door. "Taylor I'm coming, I want to see this rig." Walker said. "You got your cream?" Jessy asked. "Yeah babe it's in my bag." Zac answered. "Mrs H remind him the Exhibitor Gate and your passes will be waiting. Zac we better get." Jessy said and they loaded up and headed out. They were at the fairgrounds twenty minutes later and Jessy was waved on by the the ticket booth and security motioned to follow them. She was led out onto the track and into the center where she was welcomed, hoots, hollers, raised hats, and the the PA announcement. "Ladies and Gentlemen arriving track side for today's GrandStand events, Four Time World Champion Trick Rider, she's with us here today, yes folks that's a she, the lovely Jessy will be appearing during the PRCA Rodeo event. If you want to be amazed folks that's one show you won't miss. Jessy, Four Time World Champion Trick Rider. I told you she was lovely, look at those cowboys flock around." Jessy parked the rig and headed to the horses to unload. "You going to sell me that horse yet or not Jessy? Give you fifty thousand now." someone asked. "I'm not selling my baby so stop asking I got a good gelding back at the ranch I'll sell you for ten thousand and you'll die with a smile on your face they won't be able to remove. He's smart. spirited and I trained him." Jessy said bringing Beauty and Buster around to the side toward the fans. "Hee Haw Jessy Girl" someone called. "Hey Pappy Brown. How are you?" Jessy said without turning around. "Better now that you're here. Something pretty to look at." Pappy said. "What you want Pappy." Jessy accused, adding, "Don't be looking for Momma she's not here yet." Fairboard members showed to welcome and thank her for coming and Jessy arranged for the passes Zac's family and the backstage passes. "Here babe." Zac said handing her a bottled water. "Thanks hun." Jessy said kissing him sweetly then standing beside him to drink as Buster whinnied. "You want a drink boy?" Jessy said taking a big drink for herself then tipping the bottle for Buster and he emptied it. Jessy introduced Zac "Did you say Hanson? My lord you are." the fairboard member said and he arranged security for the family's arrival. "Morning girls, come to see the horses?" Jessy asked. "No we came to see you Jessy. I got your picture can you write your name." she asked. "I'd love to write my name for you. You coming to the show?" Jessy asked. "No Mommy couldn't get tickets." she said. "Where is Mommy? Hey Mr Diamond we sold out?" Jessy asked. "Thanks to you sweetie they sold out ten minutes after the announcment you were here. Why?" he asked. "Well I got two fans here who can't watch me because Mommy couldn't get tickets." Jessy said. "Well I'll take care of that if you'll ride the flag in only as you can." he offered. "Man, Zac run and look in the closet and see if theres a red, white, and blue spangled shirt and red pants, please?" Jessy asked. "Yeah babe it's here." Zac called out. "You got a deal Diamond. Is this Mommy?" Jessy asked. "Yes ma'am I hope they didn't bother you." "No nothing like that, Mr. Diamond here will see to it you have seats at the show, I can't have fans not getting in to see me. You girls enjoy the show, I'll be looking for you." Jessy said as the Press arrived. The interviews ended right before the families arrived. Zac proudly showed everyone where to go, who was who, and anything else he could think of. "Sorry folks I have to change and get ready to work." Jessy said heading around the trailer. "Jessy?" Zac called. "Yeah Zac. What hun?" Jessy answered. "I love you." Zac said smiling. "Oh Zac." Jessy said smiling big and rushing to his arms. "I love you too Zac. Thanks for reminding me. My lifes pretty cool I love you." Jessy said smiling and kissing him before she went to change.
