Jessy was showered, dressed, and her hair done in forty-five minutes. She made her way out looking for Zac but no sight of him and there was a lot of commotion going on upstairs. Jessy eyed the piano, thinking how long it had been since she last played. She headed to the piano, sat down and started to play and sing from her heart, "I've never been so certain, I've never been so sure, We're on the side of Angels. If we believe that love is pure. And it''s so hard to trust. We've been wrong before, There comes a time in every life. To find a heart we're waiting for. After all the might have beens, Less thans, if they come. After all the tried agains. Don't be afraid to fall. We're on the side of Angels, after all. Every time you touch me. Don't you feel it too. The gentle hand and guiding eyes. Used to bes, me and yous. After all the might have beens, Less thans, if they come. After all the tried agains. Don't be afraid to fall. We're on the side of Angels, after all. Heaven only learned. Why'd it took so long. Only heaven knows. That it is about Love. After all the might have beens, the less thans, if they come. After all the tried agains. Don't be afraid to fall. We're on the side of Angels, On the side of Angels, On the side of Angels, after all. On the side of Angels." The family soon gathered listening to Jessy as she sang. "She sounds like an angel." Diana said. "I had no idea." Zac said. "I did. But what can I say, she's my baby sister." Chele said proudly. "Who sang that, you know the one that yodeled as a kid. Anyway Jessy sings it better. Such a clear tone, beautiful pitch." Isaac said. "She plays real well too." Taylor added. "I don't care right now. I'm taking her to dinner. We'll see you guys later at Ash's." Zac said fidgeting with his hair. "Baby you look fine, go have fun. You know she loves you." Diana said hugging him tight. "Just go have fun son. She's been through a lot and deserves to have a good time." Walker said. "See you later Zac, she does love you." Chele said hugging him then pushing him towards Jessy. "Hey Jessy ready to go?" Zac asked and Jessy stopped playing. "Yeah hun. I've been just passing time, I think I must have been anxious, I was dressed in like forty minutes." Jessy said grabbing her purse, sliding off the bench and rising. "You look as beautiful as you sounded. Hun you didn't tell me you could sing like an angel." Zac said. "I didn't. hmm makes you wonder what else I didn't tell you huh?" Jessy teased. "Zac did I tell you that I love you?" Jessy asked as she reached for his hand. "Yeah babe I heard that before. Hard to believe someone as beautiful as you loves me, but I heard it from a reliable source." Zac said lost in her big blue eyes as Jessy caresed his face smiling at him. "I love you with all my heart Zac." Jessy said tracing his lips with her thumb before she pressed her lips to his kissing him deeply with all the love in heart. "The press in our own home?" Jessy giggled. "No babe that would be the Dad in our own home." Zac teased back. They laughed, hugged, kissed, and stood arm in arm for Dad's camera. "That's all you're getting man, we're headed out. I have reservations." Zac said. "Oh get real hun, they don't reserve tables at Micky D's." Jessy teased and they all laughed. "You'll be sorry. I'll take you to the fancy place to cancel then take you to McDonalds." Zac said. "I'm sorry hun, it's just I told you your favorite place. And the whole world knows you and Ronald have a thing going on." Jessy said. "Now you have me carrying on with a clown. You sure it was me that you love?" Zac said. "Ouch!! Touche' Zac. I give." Jessy said bowing to the victor. They loaded into her Explorer and Zac drove them to his favorite Steakhouse. They caused quite a commotion as they entered, Jessy's blue dress drew everyone's attention. They were seated in a booth where they held hands, cuddled, kissed, and talked about Jessy's singing. "Hun have you ever thought of singing for a living?" Zac asked. "Zac get real." Jessy laughed. "I am babe. You could go far if you wanted to." Zac said. "Well I don't want to, I like it right here." Jessy said hugging him tight. "That's where I like you too babe. Don't let me stand in your way okay?" Zac said as their meal came. "Zac you never would, just like I never would come between you and your music or your brothers. I love all of you Zac not just your hot bod. Sure does make it nicer though." Jessy said blushing and hiding her face. They finished their meal and headed for Ash's. "Fashionably late, man there are cars everywhere." Zac said parking over a block away. They walked arm in arm and Zac headed them directly to the back yard through a side gate, bypassing all the people inside. "Wait here babe, I'll go get us something to drink." Zac said leaving Jessy on the corner of the patio and heading into the crowd at the drink table. "Whoa major babe alert. Who brought the goddess?" Ash asked. "Down boy, that's my baby sister you're drooling over and she happens to love Taylor's brother Zac. See her light up, and there is Zac." Chele said. "Down girl." Taylor said wrapping an arm around her. "Forgive her, she's a little protective of Jessy." Taylor explained, adding, "We all are." "You better believe it." Isaac and Monica said. Taylor explained what had happened and how insecure Zac still was. "If you want to meet her we better go out there.I don't think Zac will bring her in this crowd until it thins Ash." Taylor said and the five headed to the patio where Jessy and Zac were dancing. "Ash sorry about bypassing. It just looked crammed inside." Zac said adding, "Ash this is my girlfriend Jessy now someday my wife." Zac introduced. "Hey Ash great party." Jessy said extending her hand. "You are absolutely beautiful. You're a lucky man Zac. Hanson lucked out, Jessy you got anymore sisters?" Ash said shaking her hand then kissing it. "Nope not until I marry Zac then I'll have three younger ones." Jessy teased. "Not an option Mom and Dad Hanson would skin me alive for just thinking it. "Zac can I dance with your girl." Ash asked. "Ash she's a human being not a possession. If you want to dance with her you'll have to ask her not me." Zac said. "Zac Hanson that's about the nicest thing I've ever heard. I love you for it." Jessy said kissing him deeply. "Maybe I'll ask her later when they come up for air." Ash teased. More and more people came to the back yard for drinks and to dance, so Zac took Jessy inside to the other four who were playing pool so Zac added their names to the list. "That's okay hun I don't need to play." Jessy said. "It's okay babe I'll teach you." Zac said wrapping his arms around her. "What you laughing at Baby." Taylor asked. "Zac's gonna teach Jessy." Chele said laughing. "I don't get it babe." Taylor said. "You will in five more games." Chele said as Taylor counted the names on the board before Jessy's. Zac finally played and won the match so he looked for Jessy who was at the cue sticks balancing them on her palm, checking for a straight line. She walked over to the table an chalked her cue, "Hun you made a wrong assumpion when I said I didn't need to play. Don't assume anything again." Jessy said breaking sinking the two corner balls, both solids. She called shot after shot, sinking them where she called. "Man Zac I think we've been hustled." Taylor said. "I never claimed not to play, you assumed." Jessy said banking then called the last ball. "Next." Jessy called and opponent after opponent watched her run the table as she got bored she did more creative shooting, jumping the ball to hit the ball behind it, multiple banks, back spins. "I'm sorry I'd like to do something else Zac." Jessy said placing her stick back and everyone rushed for it like it was magical. "If you want to play now I understand, I'll go find Ash and ask for that dance." Jessy said. "Oh no you don't, I can play at home. Is that why you've always said no when we asked you to play?" Zac asked. "Yeah first thing I heard was I hustled you and I didn't. It sort of takes the fun out of the game." Jessy explained. They headed upstairs and danced inside because the back yard was packed. "Hey Jessy will you play Dad for me. He always wins and needs to be taught a lesson." Zac asked. "Zac what a nasty thing. Sure I'll do it hun." Jessy teased. "Man I gotta see that." Taylor said. "See what?" Ike asked. "Jessy play Dad." Taylor explained and the six discussed the setup. "I don't want him mad at me." Jessy said. "He's a good sport." Zac said. "I'm telling you now this backfires and I'll tell Daddy who's idea it was and sick him on the five of you. You're all older and should know better." Jessy said shaking a finger. They danced, the girls sang and danced to a BackStreet Boy number, 'I Want It That Way' to the delight of everyone. Then they sang their version of 'Sometimes' by Britney. It was about 1 am when Jessy had had enough and the six headed out to find something to eat, they found a Taco Bell that hadn't closed and went on in. It was after 2am when they finally made it home. "Zac don't take any chances with Jessy, I made up the couch have her sleep there. Love Mom." Zac read and he walked her to her room for her boxers and tank. "I'm not really tired. Zac can I borrow your computer?" Jessy asked. "Sure as long as I can stay up with you." Zac asked. "Fine by me. Go get your computer and take off your clothes and meet me in the living room." Jessy said heading into the bathroom to change and wash her face. She hung her dress up, putting away her shoes and purse and headed for the living room. Where she found Ike and Tay had decided they weren't tired either and were joining them. The six headed out to find anyone up at 3am, e-mailed everyone looking for the rib jabber, wrote thanks yous to Hilary, checked out eBay and finally gave up and headed to bed.
