Baby You're So Fine
Chapter Two
"Where'd he go?" Chele asked as they neared the cars. "I don't know. I wonder if the others got out and went with him? Man we didn't even ask his name. We're suppose to ask their name right?" Jessy replied. "You ask their name if you're interested. Otherwise it don't matter, they can remain nameless. You interested?"" Chele asked as they stopped in front of their car. "Me? Nah I'm not interested. Well maybe in a friend type way, but other than that, nah." Jessy answered, asking, "You interested?" "No way I have had it with men. Pathetic bunch of losers." Chele moaned as she leaned against the hood of the car. "Oh sis they're not all losers." Jessy insisted, quickly adding, "Just most of them." As they began to laugh, "Most of them what?" the stranger asked. "Oh! We wondered where you went." Chele squealed. "We thought you ditched us." Jessy teased. "What? No way. I just went inside to see who was in there." he explained. "Oh so if someone was in there, you wouldn't like be seen with us huh?" Jessy teased, acting hurt and walking away. "No I wouldn't. Please don't feel that way. Honest Jessy." he apologized, walking after her, adding, "Jessy you're kidding right? You're a knockout. Who wouldn't want to be seen with you." "Oh so if I was still fat and ugly..." Jessy choked out as she burst into laughter. "When was that? Oh yeah yesterday, oh that morning look. So baddd!!" Chele teased laughing with her. "Man you are they kidder. The two of you ought to have a blast." he shared. "Two of who?" Chele asked still laughing. "Don't you love the way she talks. My little Southern Bell. Ya'll come back now. Go ahead Sis say it for him." Jessy teased. "Stop it now. I talk just like you." Chele insisted. "When? I know when we were babies. Nah I bet you goo, goo, gaa, gaa'd with a southern accent." Jessy teased laughing again. "Now that's not true. You know I lived here when I goo, goo, gaa, gaa'd." Chele replied laughing harder. "You two are totally crazy." the stranger shared laughing with them. "I prefer to think of myself as weird not crazy if you don't mind." Chele replied straight faced. "Who likes normal anyway? Huh Sis." Jessy asked straight faced, adding, "What's wrong with being a little crazy? You just got to get a little crazy every now and then." "True but not in the middle of National Honor Society induction. Gees Jessy I couldn't believe it when Momma said..." Chele started to say. "It was not that bad. Momma just thought so because it was all so serious like and I can't help it if people think I'm so cute and adorable that they giggle." Jessy interrupted. "Cute and adorable huh? Giggle? From what Momma says..." Chele tried to say. "Man I'm getting hungry. The invite still on?" Jessy interrupted to change the subject. "Sure is. About my going in to check out who's inside, you see it wasn't because of you, it's because of my friends." he answered. "Hmmm. Are they banned from here or something like that?" Jessy asked curious as to why it mattered who was inside. "So they got girlfriends or something?" Chele asked, mumbling, "All men are pigs." "No they aren't banned and no the pigs don't have girlfriends." he replied. "Oops was that outloud? I didn't mean for you to hear that pig comment." Chele apologized turning red. "Yeah Sis not all men are pigs, can't be pigs are awfully intelligent." Jessy teased and they all laughed. "Wow you are hungry." he said as Jessy's stomach grumbled. "I told you." Jessy whined, then asked, "Man it's been awhile since a pit stop too. Do you think they'd mind if I changed my clothes while I was in there?" "Nah. I'm sure it'll be okay Jessy. We know the owners." he explained. "Cool. I've been in these since we left home." Jessy replied, opening the trunk and going through her bags finding a change of clothes, placing them in her backpack. "Great idea. I sure could use a change of clothes too." Chele exclaimed and before he could say another word, the two were headed in to change. "Wait. I...." the stranger called after them before turning back to his car, "Sorry guys, I thought I'd introduce you but.." "Yeah I know my little butt is gone in a flash.' Zac choked out. "Yours? Yeah you two will get along great. Man when she said that about getting crazy, I could have sworn that was you talking." Ash shared. "No kidding. Man he says that all the time." Taylor added. "Do you think they'll know who we are?" Zac asked. "Don't know. For a minute... I just don't know Zac, really can't read them." Ash answered. "Me either." Taylor agreed, adding, "Let's head in and find out." As the three headed in, "Man we still didn't ask his name." Jessy moaned as she washed up in the sink before changing her clothes. "Wow great minds. I pulled out the same thing to wear." Chele said holding up her Hanson tank and bell bottom jeans, adding, "You' think we'd want to know who was buying our meal. You know he looks familiar. Hmm wonder why?" "You too? I'm going like I know I've seen this dude before but where." Jessy replied. "Wow me too. Wonder where? I mean both of us. How could both of us?" Chele wondered. "Maybe he was at some Hanson thing. You know maybe he's in the background of one of the pics that we've both seen." Jessy suggested. "Umm he's not that drop dead that I'd remember him in the background of a pic with Taylor Hanson in it." Chele insisted before giggling. "Yeah that is kind of extreme. Like you'd see anything but Tay." Jessy teased and laughed with her. "Me. Like you'd see anything but Zac." Chele insisted, adding, "Wonder why we both think we've seen him before?" "I don't know. Freaky huh?" Jessy asked as she packed her dirty clothes into her pack. "Freaky yeah. We'll we look... Poor fella. Hope he can handle us." Chele shared as the two headed out. "You know maybe he was in a photo with them. He sure reminds me of someone." Jessy shared as they headed into the restaurant. "I was thinking the same thing. This is getting really freaky." Chele exclaimed as they looked at each other. "Oh my God." they both exclaimed in unison, as they both remembered why the dark haired stranger looked familiar. "I think it's Ashley Greyson." they said in unison again. "Stop it." Jessy squealed. "No you stop it." Chele insisted with a light shove. "You stop it first." Jessy squealed with a harder shove. "I don't believe us." Chele choked out as she began to laugh. "What if we're right. Oh my God, the voice from the back seat. It's Zac. Jesus Sis, it's Zac. I know it is. When he said what a fine butt, I was going like I know that voice. Do you think? Can't be." Jessy rambled on as she began to jump up and down. "I don't know. Us? Nah. No way. Not us." Chele began to mumble as she shook her head no. "What will I say? How do I look? Do you think he'll like me?" Jessy rattled on and on. "Calm down sis. Jessy we don't even know if it is him. Even if it is, he probably has other friends than Hanson. I can see us getting bent out of shape only to find out it is Ashley Greyson and his friends Mutt and Jeff." Chele teased. "Mutt and Jeff huh?" Jessy giggled, adding, "Hope they're hot too." "As long as they're not so butt ugly I can't keep my meal down." Chele teased. "Oh yeah. Man I'm sitting next to the ugliest one so I don't have to sit across from him while I eat." Jessy shared as the two exited the hallway and made their way looking for their nameless stranger. "Over here." he called out rising from the furthest booth. "Can you see anyone else?" Jessy asked. "Nah. I can't see over the back of the booth." Chele replied. "Me neither. What if it is them? I'll just die." Jessy squealed quietly. "No you won't. You'll smile sweetly, shake their hand when introduce without jumping up and down, drooling, screaming, or wetting yourself. I'll be the one that just dies." Chele replied and the made the rest of their way laughing. "What's so funny?" the stranger asked as they approached. "Oh we were just cutting up." Chele answered. "Again." Jessy added with a chuckle, before asking, "We never asked your name but for some reason we both think we know you. Are you Ashley Greyson by any chance? I know we're being ridiculous." "Not really ridiculous." the stranger replied. "What? No way." Chele gasped.
