Turning sixteen and getting a drivers license doesn't seem like too big a deal, everybody does it, right!! Kaitlyn's story shows you how such simple thing, can change your life. The freedom of being able to drive made all the difference. In case you're wondering, Kaitlyn did face her parents in court and won. She stood strong with Isaac at her side everyday, their girls safely at home with their family. After being convicted, Kaitlyn was allowed to speak as a victim, "I feel sorry for you both. You still don't get it and it's so simple. Life is for living and loving but you both insist on living in hatred. Thank you for giving me life, I would not be here if it weren't for the two of you. I want you to know that I am happy, and I swear not to repeat your mistakes. My children are loved, wanted, and surrounded by people who love and cherish them." Kaitlyn told them before the sentencing. Her father received five to fifteen years in a minimum security prison and her mother five years probation. Their grandparental rights were abolished barring them from having any contact with Kaitlyn's children. Kaitlyn won the civil suit against them, leaving them a small home, the one they started out in, to live the rest of their years. Isaac built Kaitlyn and the girls a beautiful big house directly behind their parents with a studio at the center of the adjoining backyards. Chele and Tay married at nineteen, building a house next door to Ike and Kaitlyn's. Their daughter was born not too long after. Jessy and Zac are still engaged and building a house on the other side of Ike and Kaitlyn. They both entered their freshmen year at Tulsa University. Hanson of course is still the hottest band around touring with three year old triplets and a three month old. Kaitlyn's career skyrocketed making her one of the most sought after female singers, but she can only be seen at a Hanson Concert except for the few public appearances she makes with long time family friend, Garth. The story may continue, rumor has it Kaitlyn is pregnant again, but you know those chat rooms, they always get the scoop first.
