"Kaitlyn, Isaac time to get up." Taylor said. "Hey Tay."
Kaitlyn said as she wiped the sleep from her eyes. "Morning
beautiful. Mom said to wake you and lover boy." Taylor
said. "Thanks." Kaitlyn said as she rose to sit, Isaac's
arm hugging her tighter. "Sssh" she leaned and kissed his
head, stroking his hair. "You really do love him." Taylor
said. "Yeah Tay-bear I do. I have for a long time, even
before that day I kissed him back to let him know. Taylor,
I have loved him since the day he took me into you guys
treehouse. I was just touched that he did that for me,
knowing you and Zac would raze him." Kaitlyn said. "Boy did
we. Man we really didn't know that glue would do that." he
hung his head as he sat on the bed near her. "Kaitlyn? Do
you think I'll ever find someone to love?" Taylor asked.
"Of course I do, it's just not time. You'll know when it is
Tay. Honest, everything gets so clear, when it's meant to
be." Kaitlyn said. "Man you read the mags and you'd think
I'd be the happiest guy on earth. I'd give anything to be
him right now." Taylor said looking at his brother. "Looks
so peaceful doesn't he?" Kaitlyn said stroking Isaac's hair
again. "So do you. Something's different, you're glowing.
You're so happy, you're glowing." Taylor said. "Tay can you
be honest with me. No holds honest?" Kaitlyn asked "I can
try KDK. I can only try. What do you want to know?" Tay
asked. "Give me your reaction to, Taylor I think I'm
pregnant. I know it hasn't been 24 hours it's impossible to
know but I feel it." Kaitlyn asked watching him for his
reaction. "I'd say Cool, Isaac already told me, you could
be and he was really excited about it. He'll make a great
Dad and I can't think of a better candidate for Mother of
the year. You sure have enough what not to do's if you want
your child to grow up loved." Taylor laughed. "So now I
know what Isaac feels, I want to know what you think. Don't
you want to know why so soon, why before they marry, why
her, why them, what about the band, what about us, what
about me?" Kaitlyn asked. "No Kaitlyn, I know the answers to all of them but what about me? and you told me I'll know
when the time is right." Taylor said. "But Tay how can you
have all the answers when I don't." Kaitlyn asked looking
confused. "KDK you have the answers like you always do, you just doubt yourself. Living with your parents that way, of
course you doubt yourself. You're home where you belong,
it'll get better. Soon you'll believe in you again." Taylor
said patting her hand as Isaac's hand covered theirs.
"Morning bro, just catching up with an old girlfriend of
mine." Taylor teased. "Yeah right, I heard you." Isaac said
sitting up and taking Kaitlyn in his arms. "Morning hun?"
she said kissing his cheek. "Morning KDK." he said lifting
her to his lap and wrapping his arms around her. "Whoa!!
Kaitlyn you're even more beautiful in his arms. I really
didn't think that was possible. Hang on I'll be right
back." Taylor said leaving and soon returning with a
camera. "I still love to putter with it, please I know you
hate having your picture taken but if I could just catch it
on film so you could see it." Taylor asked as Isaac
whispered in her ear. "Two against one, this isn't fair. Is
this what being Mrs. Isaac Hanson is going to be like, me
out numbered all the time?" Kaitlyn laughed as Taylor
clicked away. "Ike kiss her again, that'll bring it out."
Tay asked. "There it is. Kaitlyn how does it feel to be
happy again?" Taylor asked and Kaitlyn turned to him. You
could see the question on her face, which turned to almost
tears at the realization she hadn't been happy in a long
time, then finally to the pure joy, elation that she
finally was just that happy and she smiled from her heart.
"Taylor I sent you to get them up not play with them." Diana scolded as Taylor clicked the joy Kaitlyn felt at Mom's chewing him out. "You two up and moving now. Kaitlyn I had Daddy go get you some vitamins, they're in the bathroom you take them regularly until we get you into the doctor's office. Move it. Taylor get out of here now. Shoo. You click that camera in my face young man." Diana said chasing him out of the room.
"Shower with me?'" Kaitlyn asked. "Wouldn't miss it." Isaac said following her across the hall. Kaitlyn picked up the box of vitamins and read the label and opened the box, container and took her first pill, placing the bottle in the medicine cabinet as Isaac climbed into the shower. She quickly removed her clothes and joined him. "So you and Tay okay?" he asked her. "I think we may actually become good friends. After all those years of teasing me, Taylor Hanson, my friend. Is that possible?" Kaitlyn asked him and they both laughed.
"Someone's excited." Kaitlyn said. "I'm hopeless when I'm
around you, especially naked you. Kaitlyn?" Isaac
asked."What hun?" Kaitlyn replied. "Is it okay?" he asked.
"Isaac of course it is. I love that you want me, it makes
me feel so special. Isaac Hanson wants me." Kaitlyn said
wrapping her arms around his neck, then her legs around his
waist. "Whoa I like." Isaac said as Kaitlyn covered him
with kisses. They were making love as Mom knocked on the
door, "You two get out now and get dressed we leave in one
hour." Diana said. "Okay Mom. Thanks for the vitamins."
Kaitlyn said looking up at Isaac "You heard you mother get
out now, she said." she whispered. "Kaitlyn no, not yet. I
can't" he whispered with such desperation. "You moan like
you did last night and they'll be busting down the door, so
be quiet. ssssh." she told him. His whispered moan lasted
an eternity. "With out the volume it lasts longer huh?" she
teased. "Isaac we can't cuddle now, put me down, get rinsed
off and get out." Kaitlyn ordered and she rinsed herself
and got out and toweled off. She was drying her hair and he
still hadn't got out of the shower so she reached in and
turned the hot water off. "Damn that's cold. Kaitlyn." he
yelled. "Isaac Hanson I told you to get moving. You
deserved it." Kaitlyn said as she finished her hair. "You
know if you don't want to go, you can just say so. You
don't have to drag your feet." Kaitlyn said, adding, "I'm
going to get dressed, see ya." "What? Wait?" Isaac said
grabbing her arm as she reached for the door. "Wait
please?" he said. "I was just thinking of something, I
wasn't dragging my feet. I want to go, I need to go, I have
to go to make sure they know how important this is." Isaac
said. "You're dripping all over the floor. Here" she said
grabbing a towel and drying him off and when she was done
she wrapped the towel around his waist and led him to the
vanity where she sat to dry his hair. "What were you
thinking about?" Kaitlyn asked. "Us having a baby. You
looked so cute with a big belly." Isaac said staring at
her. "What?" she asked. "You did look cute." Isaac said
opening her towel and touching her flat stomach. "Isaac
we're not making love again for the next 4 hours at least
and you start anything now it'll be 8 hours, so stop
looking at me that way." Kaitlyn said. "You're a meany."
Isaac teased. "If you don't hold still it'll be 12 hours."
she threatened. "Done. Get your boxers on and go get
dressed. I'll meet you in the kitchen in 10 minutes." she
said bending to wipe up the floor. "Don't torture me that
way." Isaac complained leaning to look up her towel. "Ten
minutes. Move" she said leaving the bathroom and heading to
the laundry room with wet towels. "Cute butt." she said
pinching him as she caught up with him until she turned in
her room. "Isaac?" she called and as he turned she dropped
her towel. "Oww Not Fair." he said as she closed the door.
She picked up the towel and hung it on the back of the
chair and headed to the dresser to put on panties and a
bra. At the closet she put on a plain black dress and then
put on the matching jacket. Their mini length was the only
thing that made this outfit stand out. Kaitlyn slipped into
a pair of black flats and headed to the dresser again to
apply powder, mascara, and lip gloss. She opened her travel
jewel case and looked for the necklace Isaac had given her
years ago, her lucky necklace she called it. She pulled it
out and fumbled trying to get it on. Frustrated she grabbed
her purse and took the necklace to find help.
"Isaac?" she called as she hit the end of the hallway, still fumbling with the clasp. "What an impression you'll make. You look lovely Kaitlyn." Diana said. "Thanks I want him to know I mean business and am not rolling over." Kaitlyn said finally looking up. "He's not dressed yet." she said shaking her head. "Walker go hurry him, dress him if you have to." Diana said. "Mom can you help me with this?" Kaitlyn asked handing her the necklace. "I'm all thumbs. Nervous." Kaitlyn admitted. "Me too baby." Diana said, adding "I'm all thumbs too." "Taylor can you help me with this?" Kaitlyn asked. "Sure sis. Whoa. Dressed to kill." Tay said. "Thanks" Kaitlyn blushed and handed him the necklace. "Hey lover boy gave you this, way back when you had no front teeth." Tay said. "I don't remember you having any that year, why doesn't everyone pick on you about being toothless?" Kaitlyn complained. "Shit I didn't mind being toothless. I grinned for everyone but you miss perfect hid from the world." Tay said. "You didn't have you teasing about it. You were always so mean to me. Didn't you like me Tay?" Kaitlyn asked. "Oh Kaitlyn I've always liked you. I just got some bad advice. Not bad advice just advice that didn't work in this situation." Tay said. "What advice?" she asked. "I asked Dad how to treat a girl so she'd like me. He said little girls are always daddy's little girl, so treat her like her daddy treats her! See what I mean, bad advice. I did just that, I teased you, humiliated you, demeaned you, thinking you'd like me. I didn't know I'd end up tolerated because of who I am but disliked for what I am. Just like your father." he finished his voice trembling. "Oh Taylor, I'm so sorry." Kaitlyn cried. "When I watched him beat you, I freaked and had to accept that was the type of relationship I had built with you. No wonder you didn't like me." Taylor said. "They've messed up so many lives. I am so sorry. I won't let them get away with this I promise." Kaitlyn said hugging him. "Son I'm sorry too, I should have realized it was Kaitlyn when you started treating her differently. When is this going to end." Walker said hugging Tay. "Kaitlyn" Isaac said and she rushed to his arms. "It ends today Daddy. We need to go. I hope your attorney is good." Kaitlyn said as Isaac wiped her eyes and the four made their way to the Law Offices.
