Hanson Fan Fiction

Two Tears -Fifty-six-

The group had checked out the arena and Dad made arrangements for enough vans to get them to the aquarium and museum, knowing Kaitlyn wouldn't let anything get in her way of going. They headed back deciding to have a cookout. Jessy and Zac headed to tell the Twins about the cookout as Mom, Chele, Jessie and Avie headed to find a grocery store. Dad, Isaac and Taylor were putting the canopy up as Jessy, Zac, Jarrod, Mark, Brad and John came to give a hand, bringing extra tables and chairs. The Twins, Jessy and Zac headed out for chips and pop. Isaac headed in to check on Kaitlyn as Grampa and Dad played with Mackie and Zoe. Isaac quietly opened the door and entered finding Kaitlyn still sleeping soundly. He moved to the far side of the bed and sat taking off his shoes. "Isaac" Kaitlyn mumbled as she stirred. "Yeah hun. Did I wake you?" Isaac asked. "No. I need up please?" she asked and he made his way to her, pulling her to her feet and walking her to the bathroom. "You seem tired." Kaitlyn commented as she finished and washed her hands. "A little." he said as they made their way back to their room. Kaitlyn fixed the cushions and crawled in trying to pat in front of her, "Well if I had longer arms or a smaller belly I reach the bed in front of me so you'd know to sit down so I could rub your shoulders." Kaitlyn said rolling her eyes and shaking her head as Isaac kissed her and sat in front of her. She rubbed his shoulders, "Where did this tension come from?" she asked. "Your, no Mr. King. I should have talked to you about Kaitlyn, I guess now I understand why you kept so much to yourself. I'm sorry I ragged you so much now." Isaac said his head hanging. "Isaac I love you and you forcing me to talk about it and explain to you how he made me feel is what made me this strong, this determined that he'll never hurt me again or get anywhere near our babies. Don't you know that. You were right Isaac. I wouldn't have made it this far without you." Kaitlyn said as she got to her knees and crawled to him, wrapping her arms around him as he turned toward her, "How could you doubt yourself? Isaac, yeah it was hard and times I hate what I had to face but I've always loved you for making me face it and being right by my side to help pick up the pieces. I can never tell you how sorry I am for everything I took out on you, like you had anything to do with it. But you stood strong and let me blame you." Kaitlyn said not being able to hold the tears back. "Baby don't cry, I know you didn't really blame me. I always felt how much you loved me and man I wouldn't trade those making up's for anything in the world." Isaac said kissing her over and over and over. "Remember how much fun it was to make up." he whispered. "Yeah it was fun." Kaitlyn smiled caressing his face then kissing him deeply. "I love you so much Kaitlyn and I'm so proud of who you are. There are times I think about what a difference you are making to so many kids out there, I'm just awed by you. Then I cuddle you and you're just my Kaitlyn and when I touch the girls, I can't believe you love this much. You know not just Jane, but Lucy, and Maddy too. I'm so lucky to have you in my life." Isaac said kissing her long and hard with a growing desperation to prove his love. "I know." he said getting up and digging through his drawer, searching. "Oh yeah. I remember now." he declared opening the jewelry box and digging through it. "Here it is" he said pulling out a flat jewel box. "This is how much I believe in you." Isaac said handing her the box. "Oh Isaac it's so precious." Kaitlyn said lifting out the charm necklace with a bride, groom and three baby bottles reading, Jane, Lucy and Maddy brought tears to her eyes. "Isaac you had their names engraved on the charm. What pressure. I just may have to name our sons Jane, Lucy and Maddy now." Kaitlyn said as Isaac put it around her neck. "I sure feel like a long hot shower or soak." Kaitlyn said. "Well there's a huge shower in the dressing room with a bench. I think it's a sauna too." Isaac explained. "Say what? And what are we doing here?" Kaitlyn laughed as he pulled her to her feet and she pulled out a clean change of clothes for both of them as Isaac got their sandals. "Grab a hair dryer and shampoo hun." Kaitlyn asked as she packed their clothes in her beach bag. Outside they informed Dad of their plan "Me durdee" Zoe said. "Oh baby." Kaitlyn said looking at Isaac. "Kaitlyn. Oh all right." Isaac said going to get her clean clothes. "Grampa you'll come and get her in about fifteen minutes for me, please before Isaac divorces me?" Kaitlyn pleaded. "Yes one of us will be up. Promise Kaitlyn." Dad and Grampa agreed. "Don't tell Isaac, he deserves to suffer." Kaitlyn snickered as Isaac reappeared with Zoe's change of clothes. They made their to the dressing room and Kaitlyn turned on the radio and then undressed Zoe who danced through the room as Isaac started the shower. Kaitlyn grabbed her robe as they headed into the bathroom, "Isaac don't look so sad. Grampa or Dad will be here in about five minutes so if you'll excuse us. I need to get her cleaned." Kaitlyn said as she got Zoe in the shower, washed her hair and got her out into a towel. "Hun I left her clothes.. Zoe stop. Naked girl alert." Kaitlyn squealed. "Not you I hope, Grampa's here." Isaac warned. "No not me, Zoe fool." Kaitlyn laughed getting Zoe dressed and drying her hair. "Thanks for coming after her Grampa. See ya big gurl, you go with Grampa now." Kaitlyn said kissing them both goodbye. "Now my turn." she said heading to the bathroom with Isaac on her heels. They finally made it back to the buses to find everyone eating dinner. "Wow what time is it hun?" Kaitlyn asked grabbing his wrist turning his watch towards her. "Isaac Hanson look at that. I knew I was dirty but that's down right filthy." she said giggling and heading to dinner. They fixed their plates and sat with Jessy and Zac who made eyes at each other, giggling and kicking each other under the table. "Oh just wait until you're married, then you two can go for the longest shower together record." Kaitlyn said and they all burst into laughter as Chele and Taylor joined them asking what was so funny. Isaac shared the go for the record comment. "Well when you're this pregnant, there's a lot to wash and I mean a lot of water." Kaitlyn said straight faced and serious watching their reactions. "You chickens. Mommy they're being mean to me. I made a joke about my pregnant size and they aren't laughing." Kaitlyn called out. "Oh god no. Not the Mommy." Zac squealed and ran to another table. "You coward leaving me behind." Jessy yelled running after him. "I'm out of here." Taylor said dragging Chele back to Jarrod's table. "What baby?" Mom said. "Care to sit down we have lots of room." Kaitlyn laughed. "You chickens start clearing tables while I play with my grandbabies for a while." Mom said and Jessy and Zac grabbed a garbage bag and got busy handing a bag to Taylor and Chele. They sat around singing, telling stories, playing checkers and cards. "Can you guys take a break after this hand so Isaac can take me in, I'm tired and cold. It's so nice to feel cold for a change." Kaitlyn said and he helped her to bed. "You sure you don't mind me going back out?" Isaac asked. "Isaac I'm cold and you wont be here to keep me warm, that's the only reason I put on a nightgown. Not to insinuate I was mad about you playing cards. Please go have fun and don't worry about me and the girls. We'll be here waiting for you to come home. This isn't very warm either." Kaitlyn said as Isaac brought her a sweatshirt, helping her on with it before returning to his card game. Kaitlyn was sound asleep in a matter of minutes as the rest of the family enjoyed the night and each others company.
