"What on earth?" Isaac asked as he and Chris stepped of the elevator. "Sssshhhhh" he was told. As they neared the crowd outside the door they heard Kaitlyn singing "Love Of My Life". Isaac quietly opened the door, to the joy of the crowd gathered, as her voice filled the hallway. "You are the love of my life. You are the reason I'm alive. And baby, baby, baby. You are the reason I'm alive." "She should go solo Isaac." Chris whispered. "I agree, but Kaitlyn won't." Isaac whispered back as room service stepped off the elevator. "Coming through folks. It's time to feed the babies. Oh the Mr. is back thank goodness. Sir she's having cravings sir. The things I've brought up. Oh my sir." room service said. "She can be a little scary." Isaac laughed as he opened the door. "Isaac" Kaitlyn said, adding, "Room Service and Chris. How do I rate?" "Here you go Mrs. Hanson." room service said. "Jimmy stop call me Mrs. Hanson, that's my mother-in-law. I'm Kaitlyn. Okay Jimmy?" she asked. "Okay Mrs., I mean Kaitlyn. Here's you shake and dill pickle." Jimmy said. "Thanks" she said as he took the tray with the dirty dishes and replaced it with the new tray. "Wait a minute. Kaitlyn you didn't eat it all. Why?" Isaac asked. "Umm, cuz I already had 2 sandwiches and some fruit before I decided I wanted cheese and crackers. Right Jimmy." she asked. "Right sir and she also had a yogurt, 2 glasses of milk, a piece of pie, veggies and dip, a piece of chicken, and a partridge in a pear tree." Jimmy teased. "It wasn't that bad was it?" Kaitlyn asked. "No ma'am. You've given the chef a run for his money. We've been taking bets on when you'll call and what you'll order." he shared. "Very funny." Kaitlyn said shooting her straw wrapper at him. "Take that NO TIP JIMMY." Kaitlyn laughed. "Darn lost that bet." Jimmy said. "Now what how long I can go before calling again and you said two minutes huh?" Kaitlyn laughed. "No ma'am you've been a good tipper. I didn't bargain on teeing you off and not getting one." Jimmy laughed as Isaac tipped him. "Hey Man all right. I win the pool" Jimmy said letting himself out. "So you've had it hard this afternoon?" Isaac asked sitting beside her as Chris sat on the other side of the bed. "No, normal for the girls and I, eat, sleep, eat, sleep. They just aren't used to the routine is all. Without you here, that's all I've done." Kaitly said. "Man I wish I had been around to get in on the pool. I could have made out like a bandit." Isaac teased kissing her forehead as she sipped her nutritional drink. They discussed the duets with Taylor and Zac. "Kaitlyn what was that you were singing when we came in?" Chris asked. "Love Of My Life" by I think Sammy Kershaw. It like it was written by me." Kaitlyn said as Chris dialed the phone having the office look into acquiring the rights to the song. "What? Oh Isaac that would be so perfect. Man I don't know if I could without crying though." Kaitlyn said. "Oh babe when are you going to realize you can do anything you put your mind to. Look at you, you decided we belonged together, you made it happen. You decided to show me how much you loved me, just look at what you made happen." Isaac said kissing each of the girls. "Kaitlyn you decided to make my life easier by making our marriage stronger, and you did. Don't think I haven't noticed what you've done. Maybe I'm a little slow, I didn't put my finger on it right away hun, but I know what you've done. How you've proven to me how much you really do love me." Isaac said lost in her eyes. "I didn't do any of that by myself. It was us, Isaac. Us." Kaitlyn said smiling, as she touched his hand that was still stroking Jane. "I would love to take you to dinner, if you let me but I'll understand if you're not up to it Kaitlyn." Chris said. "Isaac all I've done all day is rest. I'd love to go out to dinner." Kaitlyn said. "Kaitlyn whatever makes you happy. You know better than me how you feel. If you're up to it, let's go. I'd just as soon stay in the hotel though. The heat isn't good for her, Chris." Isaac said. "Fine by me, I'll make arrangements for six, six thirty. When Kaitlyn?" he asked. "Umm just snacked a lot, six thirty would be fine Chris. It'll give both of you a chance to unwind." Kaitlyn said as Chris let himself out and Isaac took off his shoes and crawled to the far side of her and wrapped his arms around her, "Kaitlyn I realized that for some reason, even when I've been wrong, you have apologized and accepted blame that wasn't yours, to end the misunderstanding, disagreement, we were having. Kaitlyn, most of them were my fault. Why do you love me the way you do? I don't deserve you, but I'll keep trying to." Isaac said kissing her deeply. "That's why I love you the way I do. That's why I did commit myself to our marriage to stop the tension building between us. Isaac why would you ever think you didn't deserve me. You are the love of my life. You are the reason I'm alive." Kaitlyn said her eyes filling with tears as she rested her head in his chest. They laid in each other's arms until it was time to dress for dinner. "I can't believe how beautiful you look. Kaitlyn you are more beautiful then the first day you wore this to church after we were married. The first maternity outfit I bought you. It seems forever ago but you are more beautiful." Isaac said as they made their way to the dining room, creating quite a disturbance. After dinner they used the girls as an excuse to returned to their room. "Mom." Kaitlyn said as Isaac screamed, "She misses you." "It's true I admit it, I miss my Mommy. Isaac that tickles." Kaitlyn said laughing, adding, "Are we ready. Okay Mom, I'm not the only one who misses you. Listen to this." Kaitlyn said as Isaac hooked the trasmitter to the phone and sent the girls heartbeats to his mother. "See we all miss you." Kaitlyn said. "Oh Baby" she bawled as Daddy picked up, "That was so nice of you. I miss the girls too, but not as much as mother, thanks for making her so happy she cried kids." Dad said. "Sure Daddy, tell her we love her and can't wait to be back where we belong. How's that looking? Any chances I can come home? I miss my Daddy too." Kaitlyn said handing the phone to Isaac and burying her face in his chest. "Kaitlyn baby don't cry. Sorry Dad, she was brave for Mom, just not as Daddy's little girl." Isaac said. "I'm sorry son, didn't mean to make her cry. They're suppose to be here first thing in the morning. Sound check is at one, so why don' you bring her home before lunch and we'll all crowd together in here and make both of them happy. I'll have something delivered, instead of heating this place up. You should have heard your mother with the rental agent. Poor soul didn't know what hit him. My baby and my grandbabies this and that. Boy is he sorry and it wasn't even your bus." Dad shared as "Walker Hanson it's true. What if it had been this bus, there is no excuse for their dangerous carelessness. My god, Kaitlyn read it on the web, why didn't they?" Mom cried again. "We've had a hard day son and we get your room, so goodnight we all love and miss you two, um five. Tell her that." Dad said. "Baby they all love you and miss you, all four of you." Isaac said kissing the top of her head and hugged her tight. "Oh Isaac I miss them all so. Kaitlyn cried. "I know baby, it'll be all right. You'll see them for lunch Dad is ordering something in and we're all going to squeeze into one bus and enjoy each other." Isaac explained wiping the tears from her eyes and kissing her deeply. "Come on, you up and to the bathroom so we can all get some sleep. Busy day tomorrow, good readings to send, breakfast with Chris, lunch with the family, then you rest until the show and then you're going to wow this town." Isaac said pulling her to her feet and walking her to the bathroom. When she returned, he dressed her for bed and they drifted off to sleep, the most important women in his life in his arms.
