Kaitlyn slept an hour, before she finally woke having to pee. She was reading the note, scrambling to get up. "Finally." she moaned moving to the left of the door to open it. "Hey Grampa." she said making her way to the bathroom, "Girls you have to give Mommy more notice or I'm going to start wetting myself and what would that do to Aunt Zoe." Kaitlyn laughed. She washed her hands, brushed her hair, and joined Grampa, stopping at the fridge to get a snack plate and a bottled water. "Sleep good my little one?" Grampa asked. "Yeah Grampa, all of us." she answered rubbing her belly. "Oh my baby, you're such a trooper. I'm so proud of you." Grampa said. "Oh Grampa, it's nothing. It's what I was meant to do, marry your grandson and carrying your great-grand babies. It was God's decision, not mine. But I sure like it." Kaitlyn laughed. "You want a piece of fruit, apple, banana, pear?" Grampa offered getting up. "I'd love a pear Grampa if you don't mind." Kaitlyn asked. They played checkers while Kaitlyn ate, finishing with milk and cookies while Grampa called to let them know they were ready. Kaitlyn was in the bathroom one last time when Walker appeared. "Ready sweetie, I know I'm not Isaac." Walker teased. "I love you too Daddy. Yeah I'm ready. What's going on?" she asked and he told her about the interviews and they made their way. "Well sweetie, you want to wait with Mom or go meet the press?" Walker asked. "I belong at Isaac's side Daddy, so let's meet the press." Kaitlyn answered. Grampa escorted her as Daddy swung both doors open, and holding Kaitlyn's as they entered the room. Cameras clicked continually as questions blared but Kaitlyn's eyes were on Isaac as the smile appeared on her face. "Thanks for taking care of her Grampa. I told you we needed you, I wouldn't trust her to just anybody." Isaac said hugging his grandfather, then kissing his wife. "Thanks Grampa." she said. "If you don't need me little one, I'm going to go find my little girl." Grampa said. "Mommy would love it, please do." Kaitlyn said waving bye. She took Isaac's hand and stepped up on the platform, sitting between Taylor and Isaac. The questions suddenly focused on the babies, Kaitlyn, their marriage. "Kaitlyn we read the story about you, Isaac and Zoe, how you are good parents already. We've read and witnessed the love you show to the girls already so can you tell us, where did you learn to be such a great Mom? We all know you own mother is not the answer. We're grateful you're not a psychotic mass murderer, from the stories we've read." the reporter asked. "That's a no brainer, but I'll take any opportunity to praise my guardian angel, my mother-in-law, my mommy, my best friend, my sister, my pal, my teacher, my shining example of motherhood and womanhood. Everything good in my life, my spirit, my faith and my husband came from that woman. She taught me the lesson that helped me survive my ordeal, the same lesson I'm using to help me now to grow three strong healthy babies. God wouldn't give me any task I couldn't handle, so it's up to me to do it to the best of my ability and have faith." Kaitlyn answered. "How do you feel about that boys?" the reporter asked. "She's absolutely right." Isaac said. "But we're prejudiced." Zac said. "And very blessed to have her as a Mom." Taylor finished. A teary eyed Walker came to call the interview to a close, the four stood for photos until Walker called an end and they made their way to the family. After the press was escorted out the guys took Kaitlyn, Chele and Jessy on a tour of the stage, control booth, Arena. "Wow, no wonder you were a wreck for the past month. This is overwhelming. Next to impossible and you do it, time and time again." Kaitlyn said rubbing Isaac's shoulders. "Aaahh" Isaac moaned. "Tell you what, I have to head back and take a nap. As soon as you're done, come join me. I'll give you a back rub." Kaitlyn said hugging him and kissing the nape of his neck. "Okay who's kicking me?" Isaac laughed. "Not me" Kaitlyn laughed as Isaac turned feeling her belly for the culprit. "Getting colder." Kaitlyn whispered. "Oh so it wasn't Maddy. Well, whoa you mean who punched me?" Isaac exclaimed. "Ta ta ta dum" Kaitlyn giggled. "No, you're saying I'm a drum?" Isaac gasped, quickly adding, "Jessy you look into baby sized drums yet. Lucy's got hands." "Come on Zac. It sounds like it won't wait until she can sit." Jessy said grabbing Zac's hand. "See ya later I guess." Zac said racing after Jessy. "Jessy, Zac wait." Kaitlyn called. "What?" Zac asked. "Could you walk slow, and let me come with you. I know Isaac wants to go over the lineup again, please?" Kaitlyn asked. "Sure Sis come on, all four of you girls." Zac said extending his hand. "Bye hun see you later." Kaitlyn said kissing Isaac lightly and taking Zac's hand. The walked Kaitlyn back, letting Mom and Dad know she was headed back to rest, they would be in the bus while she slept. "Zac take a radio with you son." Dad said. "Good idea. See ya." Zac said and hurried to catch up with Jessy and Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn snacked, showered, dressed for bed and laid down to nap. She slept a little over an hour and the increased noise level told her the family was back. Kaitlyn sat up, grabbing the lap top and went on line to work on the girls page to relate her experiences, Hanson On The Road, Destination Atlanta, Georgia by Kaitlyn Hanson. "Isaac" Kaitlyn called. "You're awake. Last time I looked you were still sound asleep. That's two long naps in a row, are you okay babe?" Isaac asked. "Yes, I'm doing more than I have in a long time is all. After all that resting, my endurance is that of a two year old. I can't even keep up with Zoe." Kaitlyn laughed. "What you doing?" he asked. "Working on the girls page. Isaac there's been almost a thousand hits today alone." Kaitlyn shared. "No way. Dad, Dad come here and see this." Isaac called. "What is my baby okay?" Diana asked anxiously. "Mom I'm fine. Isaac Hanson don't every do that again." Kaitlyn said glaring at him. "Mom I'm sorry. I promise I'll get up from now on and never yell from this room again." Isaac apologized hugging his mother. "What's so important son?" Walker asked. "It's the girls' web page that Kaitlyn made, there's been almost a thousand hits on the page today alone she said. That's a hot page." Isaac said. "Baby that sounds wonderful. Can I see? Isaac go work on lunch for scaring me." Diana said sitting and checking on the page. "Daddy can I get some photos developed and scanned please. I'd love that group photo and one of the guys and me. Maybe the one of Tay, and the one of Zac singing to their babies." Kaitlyn asked. Walker headed into town to have pictues developed and scanned to put on the official and on the girls page. Lunch was ready when he returned and they set the tables up outside under the canopy stretched between the two family buses. After lunch the family, extended road family, and Admiral Twins members, played, Grampa and his checkers, a table of cards, a table of paper, coloring books, crayons, markers, and other art supplies, a game of soccer in the parking lot, and Isaac and Walker on guitars. The area was alive with squeals of delite, surprise, pride, and love, all the sounds of a family. They had so much fun they decided to stay in the buses instead of returning to the hotel. "Isaac the babies and my readings, we should go back." Kaitlyn said the disappointment apparent in her voice and her face. "What if we got up early and went back to do the readings, clean up, eat, you know." Isaac suggested. "Oh could we, please?" Kaitlyn begged. "Why not, like you said this is your home." Isaac said. "Let's party on." Kaitlyn squealed. They had a potluck for dinner, barbecuing a turkey on one grill, chicken on another. After dinner they played games again. finally ending up singing until the little ones were put to bed around eight then Kaitlyn about nine. The rest of the group stayed up until almost midnight.
