They were gathered around the television. Rick was sitting away from the group. "Kaitlyn are you sure your bodyguard wouldn't rather sit here with us?" Mary asked. "I don't know. Rick you sure you wouldn't rather sit closer, or don't you care to see?" Kaitlyn asked. "I'm fine here Miss Kaitlyn, I can see the road from here." he answered. The clock read 5:55pm. "John you better get out here, five minutes to go." Mary called. "Coming" he called and as he was about to sit Kaitlyn's cell phone rang. "It's on the desk. Do you mind?" Kaitlyn asked and John picked up the phone and handed it to her. "Hello" Kaitlyn said. "Hello Isaac" the other five called. "So they have my number huh? I'm that predictable. Tell them hey!" Isaac asked. "He says Hey." Kaitln said. "That answers one of my questions. They're all with you and I assume they're going to watch with you." Isaac asked. "Yes Isaac. They're good friends, just like a real family hun." Kaitlyn said. "I was going to drive back after we got the license so I could be with you but Mom was a little hectic over Avie's dress so I stayed to help." Isaac explained. "Let me talk to her." she asked. "Kaitlyn baby how are you?" Diana asked. "I'm doing good Mom. I haven't puked in Wow I actually have to think to remember, six days, tomorrow's a week. We'll have to celebrate when I get home. I think I've gained weight, at least in spite of the vomitting I haven't lost any. That's good huh?" Kaitlyn asked."That's good baby. We'll get you in Friday and then we'll know if you gained weight, but not losing is a good thing too. Are you watching, of course you are." Diana said. "Yeah Mom. What about Avie's dress?" Kaitlyn asked. "The didn't do the alterations. The kept it an entire week and didn't do it." she fumed. "Mom that's okay, I'll do them tomorrow night when I get in. I'm sure I can, don't worry. How's Avie handling it?" Kaitlyn asked. "She is sure because she didn't do her chores one night, she's being punished." Diana shared. "Mom can I talk to her?" Kaitlyn asked. "Kaitlyn my dress is too big." Avie whined. "I heard. I'm so sorry. You know I learned to sew in school. I bet I can figure it out and you'll look even prettier. That is if you'll let me?" Kaitlyn asked. "You can?" Avie squealed. "Yeah I'm pretty sure I can. What do you say, me and you in your room when I get home, until we get it done. Okay?" Kaitlyn asked. "Oh Yes. Yes Kaitlyn." Avie said. "So you get your dress in there tomorrow after lunch and I'll bring the rest. What does it look like?" Kaitlyn asked. "It's so pretty it's pink, light pink and it's all frilly with a ribbon." Avie beamed. "It sounds beautiful, I can't wait to get there and see it and you'll help me sew and it will be even more beautiful on you when you're in our wedding. I love you Avie." Kaitlyn said. "I love you to Kaitlyn. I miss you." Avie said. "I miss you too, I'll be home tomorrow sweetheart. Can I talk to your big brother now?" Kaitlyn asked. "You mean you're gonna be husband?" Avie asked. "Yes my gonna be husband. Baby Jane's daddy." Kaitlyn said. "Baby Jane? That's, no, that was Grandmother's name Jane. You naming your baby after her Kaitlyn?" Avie asked. "Yes Avie we are. She was such a special lady, I figure any little girl named after her would have to be special too." Kaitlyn said. "Mommy you know Kaitlyn's baby is named Jane already? Oh yeah Isaac's baby too. She wants to talk to you." Avie said. "Make you feel insignificant. Oh yeah your baby too. She's my sister not yours." Isaac complained.
The special broadcast started. "Are you okay Kaitlyn?" Isaac asked as Governor Keating spoke out on Child Abuse and the break down of the American family unit, plugging some of his programs wishing they had been in place six years ago so these tragic events would not have gone unpunished and he was behind the District Attorney as is the Attorney General. "Kaitlyn say something?" Isaac asked. "Isaac sssh." Kaitlyn said as she listened to the charges being read "Yes Thank you Mr DA man." Kaitlyn said. "I'm hungry." Kaitlyn announced and Mary brought out pizza. "Pizza cool." Kaitlyn said. "Isaac how'd Mom and Dad take it?" Kaitlyn asked. "They cheered the DA like you did hun. So you're celebrating, I let you go. Call you later." Isaac said. "Isaac. I love you for calling to be with me. Talk to you later." They celebrated the DA's choice to file the maximum penalties. After Kaitlyn ate she was up to bed a little after seven.
Not knowing John had called Isaac and told him she had gone to bed early, Kaitlyn woke around 11p to go to the bathroom and called Isaac. "You didn't call me. It's a good thing I had to pee. You would have gone to bed without telling me goodnight. Boy I would have gotten mad at you." Kaitlyn complained. "John called and said you had gone to bed a little after seven. Don't be mad." Isaac said. "Oh I should have known there was a reason. I love you so much. So you ready to pick up Jessy and Chele for me?" Kaitlyn asked. "Can't wait I had the picture blown up so I could make sure it's them. It's so big now Tay and Zac are going along to help hold it. I wrote on it "Is This You" so the girls can come stand next to it and I can make sure I get the right one's." Isaac said. "Isaac Hanson you didn't. Please tell me you didn't. They'll look at that and leave and I won't have maids of honor."Kaitlyn said. "Oh Kaitlyn I'm joking. It was Tay and Zac's idea you be mad at them." Isaac said. "You keep your mean brothers away from my friends you hear me." Kaitlyn yelled. "Yes Kaitlyn, do you want me to put them up in the hotel?" Isaac said. "Tay and Zac yes." Kaitlyn said. "Kaitlyn you're not serious." Isaac said. "Yes I am. Why not. Fine then the girls and I will stay." Kaitlyn said. "Kaitlyn this is silly." Isaac said. "Now I'm being silly. Isaac Hanson you're in so much trouble and if I keep talking to you I'll end up not marrying you so I'm going back to bed. Goodnight." Kaitlyn said and hung up.
"What the hell happened. This is all your fault. Kaitlyn didn't think your blown up picture was funny. You have me in the dog house. I want you to stay away from Chele and Jessy until the wedding. She told me to put you up in the hotel and when I hesitated now she's staying with the girls." Isaac yelled. "We were only joking didn't you tell her." Taylor said trying to reason with Isaac. The two didn't notice Zac dial the phone "Kaitlyn don't hang up it's me Zac. I'm sorry. I'll stay in the hotel if you won't be mad at Isaac." Zac said. "Oh Zac I'm not mad. It's probably a funny gag, but just not now Zac I can't, I'm just a mess. Isaac must be so hurt for you to be this concerned. Will he talk to me? Zac thanks for being there for us. I love you, you are a Best Man." Kaitlyn said. "Isaac talk to me. Isaac please I was wrong. Don't be mad. I'm sorry if I hurt you. Please forgive me." Kaitlyn begged. "I'm sorry you're upset with me but please say goodnight to Jane at least, don't take this out on her." Kaitlyn said moving the phone toward her belly. "Kaitlyn don't go. I'm not mad please are you there?" Isaac said loudly. "She doesn't like being yelled at. Queasy stomach. I have to eat something. Good crackers in bed, this ought to be comfortable. You yell at the baby and I get to sleep with cracker crumbs. I think you just got even." Kaitlyn sighed. "I wasn't trying to get even. I just didn't want you to hang up before I said goodnight and I love you Kaitlyn." Isaac confessed.
