They pulled into the property, "Grampa the boat slipped away. Look it'z in the middle of the lake. I thought I tied it tight. You'll have to show me the knot again."Jessy said slipping out of her sandals, pulling her top off revealing her blue bikini top with light blueflowers on it, and as she got out of the car she slid her shorts off revealing the other half of the bikini. "I'll swim out to it. I don't see the oars, I wonder where they went."Jessy said as she entered the water. "You be careful girl." Grampa called after her. "Oh don't worry about me Grampa. I'll be fine." Jessy said, adding, "I swim like a fish." as she dove under the water, surfacing quite a distance out. "I see what you mean, swim like a fish." Grampa hollered waking Zac, as Jessy started swimming. "Jessy you're a very good swimmer." Grampa hollered as Jessy rolled to a back stroke. "I've always loved the water, just a wee tyke when I decided to swim with the big kids to the raft. Haven't stopped since." Zac peeked over the edge of the boat and watched as Jessy made her way to him. Jessy was about ten to fifteen feet from the boat, "Jessy" Grampa hollered and Jessy stopped swimming turned towards shore treading water. "What Grampa?" she called out. "Jessy sweetie you know I love you, don't you?" Grampa hollered. "Yeah Grampa, I know you love me. I love you too. I think you're the greatest Grampa." Jessy hollered. "Jessy I'm really sorry I didn't tell you earlier honey, I didn't think it would matter. I was wrong." Grampa hollered. "What are you talking about Grampa?" Jessy asked. "Jessy, you're a Hanson Fan right?" Grampa hollered. "Grampa you know I am. I already told you. You want me to scream to prove it?" Jessy asked. "No sweetie. Just tell me their mother's name." Grampa hollered. "Oh Grampa that's a simple question. Her name is Diana and she has long, long blonde hair and has to be about one of the coolest parents. I mean she is married to her childhood sweetheart, they have seven cool kids, and nothing seems to ever throw her for a loop. She's like Number One Mom to all us fans, I think we adores her as much as we do the band. Why?" Jessy asked again. "Do you know her full name?" Grampa hollered. "Grampa if this is stump the fan. You gotta ask harder questions than that. Her name is Diana Francis Lawyer Ha.. Oh no!" Jessy got quiet. "Jessy I should have told you. I'm sorry. I really didn't think it mattered until Jerky Grandson in the boat behind you fell head over heels with the beauty he saw when she came into Tulsa one night but before he found her to tell her how he felt, he managed to get her so angry with him she wanted to whoop his ass and you know how the story goes." Grampa explained as Jessy turned to see Zac Hanson in the boat, "God No" she cried turning back to shore. "Grampa don't go." she hollered. "Sweetie you guys have a lot to work through." he said putting the basket, towels, and her clothes under the three. "Jessy just give him a chance to explain, for me. I love you sweetie. It'll be okay. Zac don't you let anything happen to her or I'll have to whoop your ass. " Grampa hollered as he got in the car and backed out. "I won't Grampa, I love her too much." Zac hollered out. His words brought tears to her eyes. "Jessy I'm sorry don't cry. Please I didn't mean for any of this to happen. You have to believe me. I really do love you. The first time I laid eyes on you something happened to me. Everything was finally clear. I understood you were the one meant for me." Zac confessed. "I feel like such a fool. I accused you of being an Anti-Hanson. God I'm such a retard." Jessy said turning and swimming towards shore. "Jessy please don't run from me. I'm beggin you just listen to me, give me a chance to explain. Please Jessy. I love you. I know I do." Zac begged with such love in his voice Jessy stopped and treaded water. "Zac why didn't you tell me who you when I accused you of being Anti-Hanson?" Jessy asked. "Jessy I wanted to. Man I was so excited you were a fan, it meant you like the public me at least and I decided I would wait until you were through and tell you. I didn't know by the time you were through you would have decided to hate me again. Jessy I just got scared. so scared you'd hate me for not interrupting you before you bared your soul putting me in my place for me." Zac said with such emotion, Jessy couldn't help but look to see the Zac she had fallen for, had gone to the park to meet. "Jessy you have to be getting tired. Honey get in the boat?" Zac pleaded. Jessy disappeared under the water and swam to the far side of the boat to get up. "Jessy. Jessy. Where are you?" Zac called. "Jessy. Jessy." He screamed desperately. Jessy was wondering if she should tip the boat for revenge, when Zac out of desperation dove in the water fully clothed. As the boat rocked up Jessy pulled herself in and as it rocked back she slid to the far side. Jessy rose watching Zac below the surface looking for her, "Zac, Zac where are you?" she hollered as he came to the surface. As he turned towards her, she quickly turned her back on him, "Zac, Zac where are you? Zac this is scaring me Zac?" she cried out. "Jessy don't be scared. I'm over here." Zac called to her. "Zac did I knock you in when I climbed in the boat. I'm sorry. That's why I went to the other side, so I wouldn't. I'm so sorry." Jessy said finally turning to him. "No Jessy you didn't knock me in, I jumped in. I was worried when you didn't surface. I panicked and dove in to look for you." Zac said. "Oh Zac didn't you hear me tell Grampa I swim like a fish. Honey I'm a true Hanson fan you know the lung power we have, how do you think we yell so loud and so long. I'm sorry you didn't hear and got scared Zac." Jessy said reaching and softly touching his face and smiling. Zac took her hand in his and moved it to his lips and lightly kissed it, "Jessy I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for any of this to happen. Honest. My heart broke the day I realized that the girl of my dreams was the same little girl I made hate me enough to want to whoop my ass. I keep messing things up so bad." Zac said with such emotion. "Zac I'm sorry too. It takes two to fight. I was insecure with everything being new and I took it out on you. I' m sorry I'm so tired of fighting you." Jessy said. "Me too. Jessy I don't want to fight you, I want to love you. I mean if you'll let me." Zac asked. "Zac I don't want to fight anymore either." Jessy said leaning over the edge to kiss him as the boat started rock. "Jessy move to the other side." Zac yelled and she moved to the other side as Zac climbed in. "Ewwww you're all wet. Zac don't get made but you look like a drowned rat. Here let me help you." Jessy said as she took off his shoes and socks. It took the two of them to pull the wet shirt off of him. I'll wring the shirt out and you can get out of those. " Jessy said looking at his wet jeans. She put his wet things on the back seat. She turned back to find him in his swimsuit. "Zac honey before you dove in to save me, why didn't you take off you clothes?" Jessy asked trying to wring out his jeans. "Oh Zac your pockets are full of wet things now. I'm sorry." Jessy said. "That's okay. They'll dry." Zac said. "Zac what are you staring at?" Jessy asked. "You, You're so beautiful. I can't believe how beautiful you are." Zac said. "I am not" Jessy said. "Yes you are. Or at least to me you are." Zac argued. "I am not but I'm not arguing about it, it's not worth fighting about." Jessy said. "You are to me and beauty is in the eye of the beholder anyway." Zac said. "Oh Yucky sweet stuff" Jessy complained. "Stick around, I got a million of them." Zac said. "Is that a threat." Jessy said. "Mabye, what you gonna do about it." Zac teased. "Well, Fine. I guess I'll just have to do this." Jessy said leaning forward and kissing him long and hard. "Wow. You sure know how to whoop ass." Zac said. "Man I like fightin with you. Make me mad again?" Jessy pleaded. "Oh Jessy, you can kiss me anytime you want. You don't have to wait until we're fighting." Zac said. "You can kiss me anytime you want too Zac. I hope you do." Jessy said as Zac leaned into her and kissed her softly with such emotion that Jessy's eye filled with tears. "We bet get to shore and hang your things to dry or Grampa will make you ride home in the trunk." Zac rowed them to shore as Jessy sat beside him. They hung his things on the line between two trees. Laying out the things from his pocke to dry. They went swimming Jessy disappearing, swimming underwater to the other side of the dock climbing up and canon balling Zac. They laid side by side, holding hands in the sun to dry before having lunch in the shade of the tree. The talked about everything. Zac shared how he had seen her as she screamed on the highway at the Tulsa exits sign, how when he first laid eyes on her as she passed them when they slowed to exit, he knew there was something special about her. How they tracked her down, following her to the Depot where Taylor fell head over heels for her sister Chele. How they lost her at the entrance to the neighborhood. The number of time they barely missed meeting. And how his heart broke that afternoon he realized Grampa's Jessy was the girl of his dreams. Now that they both accepted that they were meant to be, all the painful, hurtful, memories were source of laughter. They were still sitting there, Jessy wrapped in Zac's arms laughing and talking when Grampa finally returned. "Well this is a much better picture than this morning, both of you crying your eyes out." Grampa said. "Feels better too." Jessy smiled as Zac wrapped his arms around her tighter. "Looks like someone went in unexpectedly. Hope she wasn't to hard on you Zac." Grampa said. "Grampa what are you trying to say, that I'm difficult." Jessy acted shocked. "I'm not touching that one with a ten foot pole. Speaking of poles. We came to go fishing, where are the poles." Zac said. "Chicken boy. Did you know he loves to eat chicken Grampa." Jessy teased and Zac whispered, "You either trust my love or are a fool saying that with my arms around you." "I like the sound of the first one." Jessy whispered kissing his arm then laying her head there. The three went fising and Zac shared the latest news, the Hanson Fan Appreciation Concert. "Jessy do you think you and Chele would do me the honor and allow me to escort you to the concert. I'm sure I can manage to get tickets." Grampa asked smiling at Zac. "Oh Grampa I'd love but you sure you want to we scream awfully loud and long. We can't help it. I try hard not to but it always find a way out. You probably don't know how bad it can get. I'll understand if you change your mind." Jessy explained. "Oh Jessy haven't you ever heard of earplugs." Grampa laughed. "If you think I'm going to miss out on a chance to be with my two favorite girls you got another think coming." Grampa laughed adding, "Let's head home and wait to find out Chele's answer." Grampa said and the three loaded up and headed home.
