Day Has Come

Party Sixty-nine

Walker met them at the airport and they loaded up and headed home. "What everybody have to pee?" Jessy asked as everyone stepped in front of her. Once inside they all stood in front of the slider off the kitchen. "Hmm well I'll go potty then." Jessy said heading down the hall. "Maybe I shouldn't have done this. I should have asked her what she wanted." Zac worried. "Sis will love it. If not Taylor will buy it from you because I love it. I can't believe they got it done so fast." Chele replied. "Hun what's wrong? Zac you okay? Where's Andy?" Jessy panicked seeing the worry on his face. "Sis everything is fine. Tell her Zac." Chele said wrapping an arm around her. "Mum." Andy said as Grampa carried him into the room."Hey Andy. You found Great Grampa. Hi my Grampa." Jessy said making her way to them hugging and kissing them both as she glanced back at the concern still on Zac's face . "Me Papa home." Andy squealed so excited. "You want to go to Great Grampa's?" Jessy asked. "No me home." Andy answered shaking his head no, pointing out the windows where everyone still stood. "You want Great Grampa to stay with you?" Jessy asked. "Me Papa me home." Andy insisted pointing once again to the slider windows, adding, "Me home." Jessy was at a total loss and was starting to catch on that she was the only one in the dark. She turned back to Zac, " What's so wrong? You look so sad hun?" Jessy asked again. "God Jessy I was so sure when I did it. Now I'm so afraid you're going to hate me for it. Why'd I do this without talking to you first? I'm sorry babe please don't hate me?" Zac said with such regret sending Jessy's mind racing, "Someone else? He's sick? He doesn't love me after all." With each thought the fear in her eye grew. "Stop it. Zac you're scaring her. God Sis it's nothing like that, don't think that way. He's just being a jerk right now. Zac Hanson you tell her right now or I will." Chele demanded. "Babe I'm sorry." Zac said finally noticing the fear in her eyes and raced to her, "God Jessy I love you so much. Maybe I shouldn't have but because I love you so much, I, I,... Jessy look. I did that. Maybe I should have asked you but I so wanted to surprise you. You know first Andy and now, now..." he stuttered placing his hands on her belly, softly caressing the baby.." Oh Jessy I love you so much I just wanted to show you how much." Zac rattled on as everyone stepped away from the windows and at the back of the property she saw the white picket fence, the stone walk way up to the most beautiful log home with a big wrap around porch. "Oh it's so beautiful. They even got a picket fence like mine. It almost looks enchanted." Jessy exclaimed as it hit her, adding, "You? You did that? That's you?" "No Jessy, that's yours. I mean if you want it? Jessy I'm sorry maybe you wanted something different. I'll understand so you be honest with me please." Zac barely whispered. "Oh God Zac it's beautiful? I love it. Can I see it?" Jessy asked excitedly, adding, "That's what Andy was saying. Grampa took him to his new house didn't he?" "Yeah babe. Umm if you want to keep something secret, don't tell Andy." Zac shared as they all laughed. "Oh Zac thank you, thank you, thank you. I can't believe you did this, it's so perfect. It is enchanted. It's a house that love built." Jessy sighed wrapping her arms around Zac, kissing him over and over before kissing him deeper than ever before. "You want to see it Jessy?" Zac asked. "I'd love to. I can't believe you did this for me." Jessy answered and soon they all made their way around the lake and to the stone walkway leading to Jessy's new house. "Wait I'm doing this right." Zac declared whisking Jessy into his arms, finishing, "I love you so much Jessy. Welcome home my wife." Zac kissed her tenderly before opening the screen door, and carrying her inside, heading directly to her kitchen. "Aaahh it's my kitchen. Oh Zac I love it. I love you. How could you think I wouldn't love this? How could you doubt yourself?" Jessy squealed racing around the kitchen touching everything, adding, "Cool it's already stocked. Anyone hungry?" "Mum me Anny." Andy squealed. "Me Grampa." Grampa squealed as everyone else followed his lead. Jessy began baking and cooking with the biggest smile on her face. "What you need help with?" Zac asked. "Here set these out so they have something to nibble on. Here's a platter for the kids too." Jessy said, adding, "Wait Zac." "What babe?" Zac asked turning back around. "This is what. I love you so much for this. I mean for graduation you give me the old house and now this. I don't know what I did to deserve you loving me this much. Oh but I'm so glad you do." Jessy declared kissing him sweetly. "Mum, Mum me wee." Andy shared so excited grabbing for her hand. "What Andy? What has Daddy done that's made you this happy. "Wing and wee." Andy said. "Where Andy? A swing and a slide huh?" Jessy asked. 'Mum me." Andy said tugging on her hand. "Sis watch the stove for me while Andy shows me his swing and slide." Jessy asked. "Sure Sis." Chele answered. Everyone looked out the back windows watching Jessy play with Andy, pushing him in the swing, catching him flying off the slide, playing tag and finally spying the tree house. They were having a blast when Jessy remembered her house full of guests and turned to find them all watching so they waved and went back to having fun. They were joined by Zoe, Mackie, JT and Chele. Then the guys took over while Jessy and Chele headed in to the kitchen. When finished, for the first time Zac and Jessy entertained in their new house, eating on the porch enjoying the view of the woods and the beautiful end of the day. "Wow what a view. Zac this is so beautiful. Thanks again for loving me." Jessy said kissing him sweetly as they watched the setting sun. The guys had almost finalized the tour, "Mum." Andy whimpered. "Finally tired little man?" Jessy said as Zac picked him up and held him close to them. "You'll have to excuse us for a little bit while we put Andy to bed." Jessy shared as they headed to his new room. A quick bath, dressed in his pajamas, Jessy and Zac joined him, one on each side of him. Zac cuddled him as Jessy read him to sleep. "Sweet dreams my little man. I love you Andy and I thank God everyday for the special gift you are." Jessy whispered kissing him goodnight. "Night my bud. Daddy loves you so much." Zac said softly caressing his head before kissing him. They made their way back downstairs to a fussy Zoe and JT. "Mom she's more than welcome to stay the night, put her in the room next to Grampa's. That'll put him between Andy and Zoe." Zac explained. "I'll take her up Princess, you sit and enjoy your family." Grampa shared picking up Zoe and heading up the stairs. "Grampa's room huh? For year's I ask him to stay with us and he has a room here." Diana pouted. "We didn't ask Mom, we just told him which room was his and always would be." Zac explained. "Sis if you want, go put him down in the upstairs nursery and you guys can take the next room. I think Joey's asleep in the nursery down here right big brother?" Jessy asked. "Yeah he's about due to wake up though if you'd rather take the suite down here." Isaac replied. "Nah we'll be fine upstairs." Taylor answered preparing a bottle then leading Chele and JT upstairs. "You do this every night, the two of you?" Chris asked. "I guess I never thought of it any other way. I mean he's both of ours, we both love him. He should be reminded first thing in the morning and last thing at night that his Mommy and Daddy loves him." Jessy answered. "It's what Mom and Dad taught me." Zac added. "Definitely the way to go then." Chris replied. "Daddy quick grab Mackie before he falls." Jessy whispered as Mackie fell asleep at the table. "I'll take him up." Zac said picking him up. "Wait I'll help. Remember all the nights we did this?" Jessy asked catching up with Zac, wrapping an arm around his waist., lightly kissing the top of Mackie's head. They made their way back down, hearing Joey fussing and headed that way. "Hey Joey. Remember me, Aunt Jessy?" she asked reaching for him, lifting him and moving to the changing table. "We are definitely wet. Hun check the bed and see if he got it wet?" Jessy asked as Zac checked then changed sheets. "Zac check to see if there's a pee pad in the drawer just to be on the safe side." Jessy suggested. After changing him they headed out and prepared a bottle. "Do you mind?" Jessy asked holding Joey and the bottle. "Nah go ahead Sis, I know you missed us not traveling with you. I'm determined we are not keeping Daddy home anymore." Mandy replied. "Sis don't get down on yourself. You know how long it was after JT was born before I made a public appearance. Just relax and enjoy it. It will end too soon." Chele insisted. "I am definitely making the tour." Mandy insisted as Zac sat in the rocking chair pulling Jessy and Joey to his lap and they rocked, cuddled and sang to him as they fed him. "Sis you coming?" Jessy whispered after Joey went back to sleep. "Right behind you." Isaac answered taking Mandy's hand and following them. "Sweet dreams Joey. Aunt Jessy loves." Jessy whispered kissing his cheek. "Night Joey. You're so special and Uncle Zac loves you." Zac whispered kissing the top of his head. "Night son. Daddy loves so much. I love you Joey." Isaac whispered softly caressing him then kissing the top of his head. "You are so blessed my angel. Mommy loves you so much. Sweet dreams." Mandy said turning back with tears in her eyes. "He is so lucky to have you all. God Isaac I love you for such a wonderful family and I am so glad I listened to you and we had him." Mandy said rushing to his arms. "She's having a hard time with the hormones." Isaac explained. "Oh sis we all went through. God remember how crazy I got before we figured out I was pregnant again. Mandy it's just what we have to put up with be so blessed is all. And I personally can't wait to get whacky and put up with the out of control hormones. Oh my. Zac she's dancing again. I hear the music now." Jessy said reaching for his hand and placing it on the baby. "Oh cool, Isaac she's got rythym already. Feel." Mandy exclaimed pulling his hand to hers. "Wow sis she's so talented already. Go gurl your Uncle Isaac loves you baby." Isaac said leaning and kissing Jessy's belly. "So does Aunt Mandy. I can't wait to meet you and hold you." Mandy said stroking Jessy's belly as Jessy laid her head on Zac's shoulder. "Don't cry babe. Jessy what?" Zac asked. "Zac why can't every baby be this wanted and loved. We wouldn't have to read about all these travesties, kids killing kids, if they were only wanted and loved." Jessy sighed as she cried. "You're right babe. We'll just have to pray more. Somehow, somewhere there has to be an answer." Zac whispered as they made their way back to the others. "Why the sad faces." Diana asked. "What's wrong lil Princess?" Grampa asked. "Oh my Grampa." Jessy sighed racing to his arms crying as Zac explained. "No more tears it's time for action. I'm going to make a difference somehow. Chris I need a good lawyer, I want to start a foundation to promote adoptions I guess. Every child deserves to be wanted and loved and I'll do whatever I can to see that happen." Jessy insisted. "Hmmm definitely something that needs doing. What are you thinking Jessy?" Chris asked. "I'm not sure, maybe like a national registry of potential adoptive parents and the foundation checks each one out personally, you know background checks and everything to make mothers more relaxed about what they're about to do. Maybe do something along the prenatal line too. I'm not sure. Maybe a centralized referall agency to all that's available out there." Jessy suggested making her way back to Zac who wrapped his arms around her waist kissing her belly, talking to the baby. "Maybe stand up for family values. This acceptance of it all teen pregnancy, divorce doesn't help. It's like putting a stamp of approval on everything. I mean if it wasn't for Zac's strength we know we could have easily joined the ranks of teen pregnancy. What am I saying I am a teen still and expecting number two. You know what I mean, we waited for our wedding night because Mom and Dad shared with Zac that it's what they expected of him and they weren't ashamed to say so." Jessy explained. "I shared it with Jessy, you know the waiting part, again, and again." Zac teased. "And over and over again." Chele teased. "And again and again." Mandy teased. "Well Mom and Daddy did I ever tell you that your son here passed everyone of my tests and believe me I tested him thoroughly." Jessy sighed sitting in Zac's lap, "I love you for making me wait Zac. You were right, it was special and still is. I'm proud to love you and let the world know that I do. Hmmm." Jessy declared soon off in deep thought. "This is going to be work. I've seen that look before." Zac exclaimed, adding, "What you thinking babe?" "I have an allie, Rosie. She's for adoption that's a given but she'll give me the forum to talk on family values, I know she will she isn't afraid to speak her mind or allow others their say." Jessy shared. "You're right Jessy. Good move. Let me approach her for you. We'll do lunch when I get back in town." Chris suggested. "Fine by me Chris, I know she can't resist you either for some unknown reason." Jessy teased. "Hey you know the reason, I know Andy Hanson personally." Chris teased and they all laughed. Over the next two months before the Fall Tour, Jessy and Rosie joined forces, a very wise move on Jessy's part for Rosie seemed to know all the important and influential players and soon "America's Future/It's Children Foundation" was formed. Rosie promoted and pitched her way to all the right people as Jessy began fund raising for the foundation.
